2181  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I have Traveled on all Thailand and Spending only Crypto! on: April 29, 2023, 11:59:10 AM
Hey to all, so I'm in Thailand and I have used someone service to convert crypto to cash, and it was so amazing and fast!
I want to recommend it for everyone who need cash in Thailand for crypto 100% safe!

https://www.globimmo.net/en/bitcoin/phuket/62988315694cea2b7347dc16.crypto#7.88178|98.3329|16

Based on your post you seem to be a tourist, why not show your face or create a video and blog the service, the community is suspicious when we see something like this recommending something that is unfamiliar to us, unfortunately, we don't have a Thailand local board here, but I hope one Thailander member with a good reputation here or even someone residing in Thailander with a good reputation here can vouch on the service you are promoting.
2182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losses In Gambling That Still Haunts You Until This Day on: April 29, 2023, 10:05:35 AM
  • Date/year : 2021
  • Amount or Figure:40k BFG
  • What Game : dice crash game

I lost the majority of my BFG token I got from the bounty campaign I was earning a decent amount staking my BFG until I get tempted to try to increase my stakes by playing Crash game and dice, my biggest regret is I should have stopped when I was losing half of my BFG but keep telling myself that I still have a chance to recover my losses, literally chasing my loses, glad that I stopped or I lose all my BFG token, you really can't win against Crash game and Dice.
2183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi coin on: April 28, 2023, 11:25:36 PM
I have around 21Pi coin im mining ot my phone.
My question is is.thst real and actually can make some Weekly cash?
i camt recive them bc of KYC proof or sum. but everyone says that they cant get the coins.
Anyone got some idea

Pi was launched if I remember back in 2018, but until now they are not yet in the market they have a lot of empty promises to their holders, the riskiest part of mining and being part of this project is the KYC side, you'll have to undergo rigid KYC or verification before you can claim token that you've mined in your cellphone.
They have millions of members imagine the huge numbers of verified accounts that they are holding and yet their token is still considered shitcoin, this is the longest-running shitcoin industry that hasn't gotten in the market.
2184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: April 28, 2023, 09:47:56 PM
Court sentences mother, son to 7 years imprisonment and what did they do? Court sentences mother, son to 7 years imprisonment

The mother and the son after gambling away 5.6 million naira, that is about $8,000. When the reality dawned on them, they gave false information in petition, accusing someone of fraudulently transferring the fund from their Opay account to the sport betting account without their authorization.

Could this be a case of making someone pay for what they didn't eat or a case of double standard.

Bet as you can sustain and not allow your emotions have a better part of you.

Like mother like son, I wonder who lured the other to gamble, they are both compulsive gamblers when you're in court you cannot lie because you are under oath, and if the court found that you are lying you will be charged with contempt, you can lie anywhere but never in court.
Compulsive gamblers are compulsive liars too but they have to plead guilty to lessen the sentence,
Quote
The mother and child pleaded guilty to the charges.
because if they continue to lie it will be a longer prison time, longer than the court handed them, but seven years is still a long prison term.
2185  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I was scammed to invest and left with a watch only wallet on: April 28, 2023, 03:01:19 PM
This is not the guy who looks disappointed losing everything on ForEx at least he will come back here to tell the whole story like naming the FoRex platform, and the amount that he lost, he seems not interested in the advice that we're giving, is he move on easily or he is really that serious, the nature of someone who loses everything is, he will complete the details and will do follow up on his cases.
I hope he can still come back and give us more so we can warn others.
2186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jason Moloney vs Vincent Astrolabio WBO 118lbs Title (May 13) on: April 28, 2023, 02:36:14 PM
I have to check both fighters' recent fights to see how they fitted and it seems Asrolabio has a better chance to winning the fight this is going to be a slugfest because that's both fighter's style of fighting, we all know style makes a fight and both fighters love to engage Vincent has a better chin and knock out power, this is a good year for the Filipino boxers as they have a chance to have another champion in Astrolabio, and this is because Inoue is moving up.

2187  Economy / Reputation / Re: Heads up on this user on: April 28, 2023, 12:51:45 PM
Is this the user @yiskadesign
I don't think @OP meant this user, but it's high likely loabiti33 because he opened two threads about data entry and design which has been mentioned by @OP above Online data entry jobs and text copy and paste. and Help required in art and designer work.

Since he only making a deal and you're not yet creating a job for him, he's not scam you, but he just unprofessional or unethical. If he was scam someone who previously work with him, that's user should have create a thread to accuse him, but as far as I can see, no one create a scam accusation thread.

Let's hear it from the horse's mouth about who he is talking about, he should put a name on his post because it cast doubts on all who offer similar services, no scam has been committed but we should not wait for that to happen and just warn members to never transact without an escrow, and the seller should be obligated to offer an escrow to protect the buyers.
If he chooses not and his service thread is moderated then a neutral will warn his potential clients.
2188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 28, 2023, 07:55:11 AM
Yes, Tank is better than Garcia. This should not only silence Garcia in trash-talking against Tank, he should also be silenced in some of his arrogant trash-talks about him being the king, having been defeated by no other boxer, etc. He is defeated. He is even knocked out. And the knock out was humiliating in a sense because he was the one who refused to stand up, even if it was impossible to stand up. That is already something to some fans and opponents.

Although we can say now that Garcia is not on Tank's level, I really wonder where Garcia now if he hadn't faced all those challenges in his life which distracted his focus on boxing and affected his entire career.
Nah, he'll be alright. He didn't look disappointed after the fight, and he knew inside that Tank is really a tough fighter and that he could lose. We hate him because of his trash-talking ability, but in reality, that's what you call effective marketing on his side. So let's just hope for the best for Garcia, who suffered his first defeat. I'm confident that he'll come back strong soon!

I think Ryan should change his trainer he put up a very bad game plan, Roy Jones summarizes it by questioning who told Ryan to stalk a puncher like Davis, is it Goosen his trainer or he just acted on his own, Ryan has to change the way he boxes the head is always stationary he has a big left hook fighter who lacks ring generalship.
I believe Ryan still has a future in boxing but it is hard for him to be as great as his idol Manny Pacquiao, he will meet another highly technical boxer with a good ring generalship and power punch in the future and he should prepare for it, now he knows what's like to fight in a big fight like this, he is 0 title against a guy who is 12 - 0 in a title fight, so the result is pretty obvious.
2189  Other / Meta / Re: How to add your Bitcointalk profile to your homescreen on: April 28, 2023, 02:09:36 AM

There are important reasons why it is beneficial to add the bitcointalk icon to the homescrewn of your mobile phone or laptop;
  • One of the reasons is that it will enable people know that you are into bitcointalk and they will respect you in your environment.
It's a way to doxx you if you have your profile on your home screen, they can see who you are, and your earnings in your signature, and people could or might post you and expose you.

Quote
  • Another reason is that seeing the icon on your mobile home screen will always remind you that you are a member of BTT. You know because of stress at work, you may forget that you belong here and make posts
Have you experienced that?  I don't, its a habit for me especially if you are an obligation on the project you are promoting

Quote
  • Having the icon on your home screen will enable you check frequently if theymos has taken down the forum as he threatened
.
Bitcointalk is doing great I am not aware of the threat please send us the link.

Quote
If you think that these reasons aren't enough you may go to court and sue the OP for making a helpless post to you.
On my own I have no reason to put Bitcointalk on my screen I'm comfortable to know that I am proud and an active member.
2190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: acquired btcusa.com registered 13yrs before bitcoin back in 1996! 🤯🤯🤯 on: April 27, 2023, 11:46:36 PM

I agree, it's indeed worth more than just $600 & if i wanted to sell it fast i could easily auction it on a bigger marketplace like Sedo for instance. but i honestly feel for the first time in my domain experience that i want to develop a domain rather than just flip it for a quick buck, hence i listed it for 1 btc cause i want to take my time & most likely turn it into a business.

That's a good decision to create a website and accumulate backlinks so the content and the backlinks will add value to the domain, some of the parameters or criteria in selling and buying domains are content and backlinks, age of the domain is included.

Btcusa.com is good and the word btc and USA is very prominent it has a specific niche and a targeted audience.
2191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never Expect Consistent Winnings From Gambling - A Lesson I Learnt. on: April 27, 2023, 10:42:23 PM

Gambling is not a business, and neither should you ever take it as a day job, in reference to this thread - it is likely impossible to make a consistent winning from gambling, there are day you win, even much more than $100, and there are days you will lose it all, to make a consistent $100 or more every day in gambling is a mirage, wishful thinking that might never happen.

Feel free to chip in your contribution.

Honestly, it's very tempting to think that way I used to have that in the early stage of my gambling session,  winning consecutively and having a winning run you'll think that you find a method for consistent winning and you go on like this until you are busted.

Many newbies are like that 3 to 5 winning sessions will make any newbies thinks they have a lucky charm and when they are losing they think that the charm will give back their winnings, so they chase their losses.
They held on to their belief that quitters never win.
2192  Economy / Reputation / Re: I doubt it - But is it too bad to ask you to review some of my posts? on: April 27, 2023, 09:30:30 PM
I think this is a subtle way to get merits and you've done that but mainly because you are a good poster and you deserve it, or should I say it's a subtle way to get attention to check the posts and possible merits.

But not everyone can do this I remember new accounts asking this and they get busted, because they directly ask for it, without knowing that begging for merits is prohibited.

2193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The psychology of betting..... on: April 27, 2023, 08:56:49 PM

A lot of my friends believe that it is better to spin the Slots manually, because "Auto spin" are rigged by the casinos... but that is also a myth. A lot of things come into play when a bet is made and it has nothing to do with the "auto bet" feature. (Client Seed / Server Seed & RNG and RTP ...)

I used to believe that but after many sessions, I have proven that luck is still a factor and manual and auto have nothing to do with winning, but manual betting is a more acceptable way to lose and have higher chances of winning because you are in full control of the bet, I have a good winning rate playing manually than playing with auto, and usually when I can quit at the right time with small winning, the best strategy is still knowing how to quit at the right time, not chasing your losses or even taking a chance to win more.
2194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: April 27, 2023, 03:17:24 PM
Gambling causes depression and depression leads to committing crime, in the heydays of online cockfighting here in our country, people are committing crimes even to their families, just so they can play online cock fighting.
Gambling is like a drug if you cannot handle the way you take it, you will be miserable.
Imagine committing a crime against your family because you know that your family will forgive you because they want to preserve their family's unity.
2195  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by WolfCloud on: April 27, 2023, 12:42:43 PM
Have you done successful trades on newbies in the past that you seem to easily trust unknown people, or did anyone vouch for this guy for you, if your answer is no then its better to change how you interact online, nest time get an escrow or trade with someone with a good reputation as a seller

If a seller is not offering an escrow and his account is a newbie then never trade, I see that you already have a flag for him better include that flag link on your post.
2196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid a scam project? on: April 26, 2023, 11:43:24 PM
There are so many new projects launching everyday and some of them can be good and some of them can be a scam as well. How can we identify it well? Perhaps we should have more discussion about it so we all can learn from everyone's experience.

There's already a lot of advice and discussion about scams and the best to check them all is the
Scam accusation board

Here on this board members will guide you on where to see the signs and where to look, usually they are faking their whitepaper and the development team are fake people using popular accounts on LinkedIn.
If it's crowdfunding better away, until you have proven beyond doubt that the team and the whitepaper are true and legit and the platform that they are going to create will benefit the whole industry.
2197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Hashbet.com // Decentralized Games Based On Smart Contracts on: April 26, 2023, 11:07:42 PM

Ops please don't get it twisted and we are not saying that your platform is going to scam users but then that has been the recent happening with wallet connect and web3 casino development.

I'm not a big fan of smart contract-based casinos and I have not played long enough to explore these contract-based casinos, I  had a very bad experience on MLM based contract based platforms where the developer has a back door in the smart contract that can disrupt the interaction and manipulate it.
At this casino, I didn't see or have missed the audit of the contract, because all players are good at checking the code, there should be a n auditor and there certificate prominently displayed.
2198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stay updated on: April 26, 2023, 10:26:32 PM
I start developing an interest in Boxing and UFC matches when I visited a relative, he is so into these types of sports and he seems to know a lot about it, by I have to keep myself from asking him what and what I should do to know more about such sports, I have this in mind to be able to make some bets or gamble on such sports, my problem is I don't know how, if anyone is into such sports where should I begin? Any special UFC or Boxing platform where I can read news and updates about such sports?

Your interest will lead you to news and media but you have to start and I recommend you to start here
https://www.facebook.com/officialmmajunkie/ this is where I get all the news about UFC they have an official website and they posted a lot of information about MMA news and updates not only UFC but all the other MMA organizations like EFC, ONE MMA

https://www.youtube.com/@DAZNBoxing
https://www.youtube.com/@inside.fighting

There will be more coming it will lead to news and media organizations, you just have to keep your passion burning.

2199  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Why Coinmarketcap and Coingecko help scammers ? on: April 26, 2023, 03:56:42 PM
One of the biggest and well veiled scammer exchanges is Bibox, when peoples can't take their deposits from December 22. I find on the internet some dozen posts about it on different platforms. But Coinmarketcap and Coingecko think what this phrase: "We have received multiple reports from users being unable to withdraw funds from Bibox. Please exercise caution. "which you can see in exchange description enough for disclaimer and continue place quotes of scammers. I don't think so. They undermine confidence in the crypto industry.
Why would they help scammers they are not going to get anything and it will tarnish their platform, they have no control of the internal affairs of these exchanges, if there are many reports coming of dubious activity of a certain exchange or token listed they are quick to make an announcement.
These are market aggregators that can make an announcement based on reports, do your own research on reliable reports or better only trade on a reputable exchange.
There are a lot of scam tokens that are still listed on these aggregators but I don't take it against them if they are late in giving notifications or even rely on them.
2200  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Facebook Ads Promoting Scam Sui Airdrop And Hacking Trust Wallets on: April 26, 2023, 03:26:02 AM
This is so basic for an educated Cryptocurrency investor, if any platform or individual asks you to put your private keys to their platform or asks you to send funds for a gas fee, you can mark these as a scam, your private keys are yours and only legit wallets will ask you to fill in your private keys.
Do not trust new platforms and moderate your greed for useless airdrop tokens, social ads are deceiving when it comes to Cryptocurrency and social media platforms easily accept these kinds of advertisers because there is where they made money, you should be good at ignoring these ads, the more you are good at ignoring, the safer you will be.
