According to PlayerAuctions the account is worth a lot more than the loan.
Yeah, that's what I looked at when initially seeing what he said was on the account. Looks like it's worth upwards of 2BTC depending on if you can find a seller. In that case, don't even think about it jprice just sell the account.

Joey's house in uninsured? It would be a shame for an old house like that to catch fire.....
According to him there is some very cheap 30 year policy on it.

You should probably move this topic to marketplace - goods - computer hardware .

I am good looking. A lot of men love big men bear types. You all are just jealous.
Even a homeless person wouldn't be jealous of you. Get your ass out of the house and start looking for a job. You are seriously asking for somebody to teach you a lesson.

No payment.
Look at his trust there is no way you're getting the money back.

ok, then I offer 0.45 BTC for the whole bundle (Pi, case, cable, sd card. if that is correct?).
(I'm based in the UK)
Sorry, I'm not accepting any offers since I'm not looking for a quicksale.

Maybe I'm interested. Does it come with a power cable?
Yup it comes with a cable. I've also just realized that I made a mistake in the listing. THIS IS A 512MB RASPBERRY PI there is no 521mb version.

I'll offer 0.25BTC for the Pi alone. No other accessories required. Shipping to UK.
Sorry but I would prefer to sell the entire "package" mainly because its much harder to sell a used sd card and a rpi case on their own. Thanks for the offer

Check your pm. I'm not accepting escrow if you have an issue trusting me just check my trust. I'm not going to scam you over such a small amount and loose my rep.

Got it! Nice to know. It could be my next buissnes then. I promise something, then say I cant deliver and thank you all for donations and support Every day I learn something new! I really hope that will not be the case here of course... Not delivering it and not meeting the deadline are different things. Just give him some time. I'm sure he is hard at work. Wink You could probably argue that he promised something in return for the donations and didn't deliver but still this is not the case for now so give him time.

@mtrlt How would you deal with refunds if you were unable to deliver a GPU miner at all?
The key word he used is "donation". This basically means that he can run away with your coins and you can't do anything about it.

With ASIC manufacturers capitalizing on their ASICS like they are now, it's just an unfair game of the absolute richest getting richer.
What is unfair about it? How can someone who doesn't understand free markets even be a proponent of cryptocurrencies? Are you sure you are in the right place? ASICs will bring mining to more people than GPUs and CPUs ever did. It might do but it will also make a lot of people extremely disappointed when their asics turn into paperweight because of the massive difficulty increase.

|
anyone know how to make this connect to a mining pool?
Would that be something in the primecoin.conf ?
No mining pools yet. What about ypool? They seem a little bit dodgy to me and many others plus in order to mine you have to use software created by them.

So I guess botnets that find they happen to have thousands of GPU-equipped machines among their zombies will be the biggest winners, having the largest incentive to get GPU-mining code written?
-MarkM-
Don't botnets thrive most on cpu mining? Most computers have decent cpus but a low percentage have high end gpus. Especially nowadays with the recent push of ultrabooks and thin laptops by both Apple and Intel.
