BTW, I mined for 24 hours at nut2pools two days ago, didn't get paid, attempted to log in, it did not accept my password, attempted to give it my email to get a password reset sent, the entry field did not accept enough characters to take my email address. I left a message on the contact form. nut got back to me via email to tell me that I have about 10 MAX. But it is not paying out to me and I can't log in to manually withdraw it. I replied to inform nut of this. It's been 24 hours now since I last heard from nut. So I guess that nut2pools was a scam pool too.
I'm getting paid fine and the automatic withdrawal's are working great.

Transaction fees will increase in order to compensate them for the work.
One of the draw backs we won't be seeing 21 million Bitcoin in our live times though. Speak for yourself Do you plan on living 100 of more years? I thought the estimates were 2050 to 2070? Plus I think that the world record is 116 so yeah maybe.

Less miners also shouldn't slow down the network as the block reward is still ~10minutes. Network difficulty should change with the amount of miners and will finally go to a certain equilibrium where it is still profitable for the miners.
but if we hit the 21m cap then no new blocks will be made? if we keep discovering new blocks there will be more then 21m bitcoins o.O The will be no more coins but the transactions still have to be validated and that's what the miners are primarily there for. They will still make money from transaction fees.

THE MOON RACE STARTS!
Serious: A lot less people will mine but I think that if the price goes to "the moon' many will stay.

I keep getting the message that maxcoin has encountered a problem and has to be stopped. this happens since I introduced the maxcoin.conf file into the maxcoin folder. The maxcoin.conf remains in .txt extention and I am unable to delete the .txt option. please help.
I have changed the folder options to show the file extentions.
The devs are apparently working on a fix for Windows 8. Although it was supposed to come last week so we might never see it.

Any ETA on the wallet fix for Win8 issue that some people are experiencing? Starting to get frustrating max.nut2pools.comPeople have been asking since launch, the dev team is appalling.

We need more hashrate to max.nut2pools.comPlease feel free to join us! "All time" block find share rate 79% (meaning you get paid 1.21x the estimate) Last 20 block find share rate 54% (those that has been with us the last 1,5 days would have had 1.46x payout over estimate) Gotta love those figures from an welloiled and smooth running pool Ok, I finally gave in. Woho! Can I withdraw directly to mcxnow? or will that not work?

Making a wallet that WILL NOT sync automatically without adding and changing .conf files is really poor,
Unless the aim was to launch a wallet and a coin that was really difficult for your average casual computer user / crypto enthusiast to use,
In which case ... Well done !
Been trying to get wallet to sync for days now (Mac OSX)
PLEASE someone do a step by step walkthrough guide !
Will tip in LTC or BTC (would use MAX but ..... Hmmmm)
What's worse is that it crashes on Windows 8 after it gets a connection.

So, wallet ain't syncing, despite putting the nodes in the .conf file. Anyone got any idea how to solve this?
