No this is incorrect. Maternodes perform the coin mixing for DarkSend. The payments are a bonus and incentive to run a masternode If you are not going to be getting paid to do it (as it costs money to run one) why on earth would you run one and put your DRK at risk... They do not work as per design... If the rollout on the 14th June (I think) fails... DRK will be the biggest car crash in history. Because not everyone here is for profit, some are for the ideology of the coin and the design. Masternodes are active since April if I recall correctly. Seriously man, you should get some facts and stop spewing nonsense. I would strongly suggest to shift the focus in this thread to our own goals instead of being preoccupied with the fate of a crypto currency that claims to have similar features to the XC infrastructure.
I think that would be a good direction to go to but I'm happy that the discussions about other coins seems to be more healthy then full of name calling and anger. |

Agree, a few reminders for them that masternode's currently don't work as they seem to be forgetting that.. If they fail or there is another huge attack on the network in the next implementation, then that coin is going to plunge like a stone... The good news there is now well and truly priced in...
As the dust settles you can see reality coming back XC is a great competitor to DRK and they are scared.
Masternodes do work, it's the reward for running one that does not ... c'mon get your facts Ah that's ok then, ill put 1000 DRK up there to be stolen (as has already happened) for zero reward... Great system that. Nothing to worry about at all there. the 1000DRK was stolen from a masternode due to poor security on the user end this was confirmed with the user over a skype... again facts dude Ok thanks for clearing that up but 1000DRK is also a lot of money. |

THere were anoncoin trolls and others and the thread is 1000+ pages strong and not moderated. WHERE is the peer review for Darksend?
Someone was willing to pay for an independent audit of xc. they were completely ignored. You could have said, yeah when its ready you will get a chance. Instead he was ignored and some random guy gave it the thumbs up. Why not let several people check it. As for DarkSend. Well that is going to be made open source. Its not at the moment because of fucking scams like XC. Everything else is a complete fucking rip-off from darkcoin, DarkSend will be too. You'll just have to reinvest what you made so far off innocent people in another scam further down the line when the code is open sourced. mindfox has also checeked it, oh and there is a bounty for rat4 if he takes it. |

Any code that is independently reviewed by a website called cryptopump should raise a red flag. Also reviewed in 5 minutes.
Oh and the dev doesn't know how to use a repository.
We have offered a bounty for Rat4 to review it, Oh and mindfoxed already has. |

Hello.
I was invited to check the implementation of XC compared to FedoraCoin's codebase in order to find possible similarities between them.
First of all, I visited FedoraCoin's repository and checked the specific file mentioned (mixerann.cpp and the header file).
Then, I was invited to Developer's station with a Teamviewer session and saw the code that implements the specific feature.
The code is in no way similar between the two coins.
But, I believe that one must trusts his own eyes (and compiler). Just download the source code from FedoraCoin and create a working wallet that has all the features of XC enabled. That would prove whether the claim is correct or false.
Now, I do not know who claimed that Fedora and XC share the same codebase. If someone claims that some principles are the same, then I'm afraid that someone hasn't heard of Bitcoin and the blockchain concept (or the transaction concept, or the pubkey->wallet address concept, or... the list goes on forever).
