miner works fine on windows 8.1 with 16.2 drivers... go figure lol. X2 280x and 1 270 and 1 270x does 62Mhs on eth and 600odd on dcr. didnt set anything just put in pool address's and it worked fine.

is it just me, or are the pool earnings somewhat off.... 7ghs should roughly average between 6.2-8.47 DCR a day, with difficulty counted for as well. but i am lucky to see 6 dcr on a good day and as low as 4.6 on a normal day......

Hello. I've been trying for days to get my GPU to show in guiminer. The only thing that shows is my CPU. I've installed the AMD-APP-SDK 2.8. My computer: Dell desktop Windows 7, 64-bit 4 GB Ram Intel Core2 Duo CPU running at 3 MHz I have downloaded more versions of CCC and SDK and OpenCL and Stream than I can count. Every time I launch guiminer it only shows the CPU. Before I tinkered with it, it used to say no opencl devices (and also used to pop up mentioning ati cards at launch of program). According to Device Manager, the driver version is 8.56.1.16 which is dated 4/25/2009. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Please tell me what other information I can post to help. Also, have a nice day  that card is simply way way way to old for mining. |

Decred again under 500k. Now 482k Bittrex. I am afraid  Dump your coins before it goes back down to 300k again. It's due for another large fall... guessing fud so you can buy cheaper Dcr...... price has been pretty stable and will fluctuate for alittle while until things get moving again. like most things.... |

Doesn't matter what Wolf is doing on FPGAs... Where can you purchase FPGAs? How much are they? Is he openly selling it? Pretty much no to everything there.
New version of Decred might be worth it if it gets the actual hashrate on pools now... But I bought Decred with the intention of getting that speed on pool. Doesn't seem worth buying another version that gives me 25% less hash then I should be getting. Not interested in Vanilla, haven't been for some time. There are quite a few fallback coins I'd hit before Vanilla, that's even with the extra hashrate if it were free.
Just because you have such a short attention span you can't google long enough to find out where to get FPGA boards doesn't mean no one can... Last I checked the FPGAs for mining were hellah expensive and being sold used on eBay. Shows what you know. where can you find fpga's units for mining that dont cost a fortune. Australia seems to have a very weak range to pick from :-/ australia has a very weak range - of ANYTHING ... fullstop! ... believe me - ive tried ... which is one of the reasons we here are so far behind in technological advancements - that anyone worth a pinch moves out of australia into europe or uk or usa ... or the tech itself is sold offshore to everyone else ... if we were to import / produce fpga or asic here - it would be only worth it in HUGE bulk orders ... but who here has a million dollars to do that in those quantities ... nup - better to go to china and manufacture it all there and sell it worldwide from there - if you have that sort of cash ... forget any real opportunities here ... ive even been looking at moving ( and subsequently growing ) thefarm off shore also ... we even have limitations on how much solar power we are 'allowed' to have - even if one were to buy a 1000hectare farm ... what a government ... bloody pathetic ... #crysx Sadly i have to agree with you on all points. Pretty sad country it has become  And its only going to get worse, especially for SA..... yup - it is ... sa has the highest unemployment rate in the whole country - yet the most expensive electricity and water and food ... and this is goign to become a lot worse with the new 'rules' that the government are setting out for this financial hell hole of a state ... beautiful to visit - just dont stay here like i did - you WILL be trapped ... rent is cheaper than most other states - but that is a small token of relief when you have to pay through the nose for your water and electricity - and through the bum for your food ( yes - i mean that the government like to enter from there - without lubricant ) when it comes to cost of food ... when australia was called the 'lucky country' - it was completely short lived - and VERY little was done to maintain it as being a lucky country ... i would LUV to go back to sydney - but due to the cost of rent there - i cant move thefarm with me - so it wont happen anytime soon ... at least until i can BUY a property - then its a different situation altogether ... which state are you in mate? ... #crysx SA born and raised mate. and atm i have situations that require me to stay in this state despite how horrid it has become. hence why i try to mine to give me a few extra dollars in the pocket, but re-setting up again is not an easy task atm. |

iam guessing some eth miners have moved to Dcr. Sudden jump in global hash rate.
FPGA's are mining this now Oh, well that sucks for small gpu miners lol. and not sure where to buy fpga that works with this algo in AU :-/ |

I couldn't mine with cgminer. can anyone show instruction with picture and command lines.
1. Download cgminer 3.7.2 for your OS. Mine is Windows 7 so I'll explain for Windows 7. 2. You extract the zip file 3. You create a text document (right click, create new Textdocument) in the folder of the cgminer.exe 4. Call it Start.bat - you need to be sure there is no .txt at the end of the file. It must be Start.bat and not Start.bat.txt 5. Right click on Start.bat --> Edit 6. The file opens and you can type in: cgminer --blake256 -I 10 -o http://dcr.suprnova.cc:9111 -u YouAccountName.Workername -p Password --vectors 1 --no-submit-stale --gpu-threads 1 --scan-time 2 --queue 27. Click save 8. Close the textfield and double click Start.bat - your miner should start now. You need an account on the suprnova pool and you need to create a worker in your account with password.
