Borac Banja Luka-Cluj
Hibernians-Flora Tallinn
Prishtina-Ferencvaros
Valur Reykjavik-Dinamo Zagreb
Buducnost Podgorica-HJK
4/5 is quite good Smiley
You bet!  Smiley
That's a pity though, I can safely admit that Borac Cluj was the game I was more safe about betting. I mean Cluj was way better than the anonymous Borac Banja Luka!
4 out of 5 is not bad at all but it's never enough to take deserved profits home. I'll try again.
222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 13, 2021, 10:27:57 AM
Novak's a beast of his own kind. Berretini played great tennis but even that's not enough against this Djokovic.
The Italian player had the illusion to be able to win Wimbledon but Djokovic really was extraordinary yesterday. Still I believe Berretini's an excellent player, he's young and might be able to become a top player.
Federer, Nadal and Djokovic won't play forever Cool

In fact, Djokovic did not play his best tennis in the semifinals and finals, but that is also a characteristic of great champions, that they win even when they don't play at their usual level.
Berretini was very good but it is always very difficult to play such big and important matches.
The psychological pressure is huge and it is not easy for a young player to play such a match.
I'm sure that the Italian will be even better in the future and that he will soon start winning his first GS tournaments.
Personally, I think that Federer's time has passed and that he will no longer win any GS tournaments while Nadal has a chance only in Paris.
This year is a great chance for Nadal to win the golden slam, which no one has ever managed to win, and after that he can retire as a GOAT.

I agree on this, Federer's worst enemy right now is his age. I mean you can try all the tricks of the 21st century to keep playing as long as possible but I think he's perfectly aware that his tennis time has come to an end.
Don't get me wrong here, Federer's by far my fav tennis player! His stylish and classy tennis is some pleasure for the eyes of the spectator!
Going back to Berrettini, I think he can become a great champion! He needs a few more games against Novak and Rafa to get better and better: I think we'll see his name a lot in the future!
223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 13, 2021, 10:21:40 AM
For Game 4, before placing a bet, I would focus a lot on the Suns' defensive problem that needs to be solved quickly; I think that for the next game the Suns need a different Booker than the one who fights with his aim and closes with 10 points and 3/14 on his shot, ending up in serious criticism while becoming the most watched man in view of Game 4.
Because of this, and if the Greek God will keep rockin', I believe the Bucks can win another important game even though this time with less than 10 points difference. Do you share my view?
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Securing Your Bitcoin with a Dead Man's Switch (In Case of Death) on: July 13, 2021, 10:14:32 AM
I'm a super paranoid bitcoiner but three people on Earth in different geographies know how to safely restore my coins if something bad should happen to me. I don't see the point of allowing my btc to die with me, they need to extend their life after me.
I know we're all for the Don't trust, verify mantra but I trust these guys a lot. In fact, I know how to recover their keys in case they die as well.
Couldn't think of a better use case for death recovery  Grin
225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- now at: 21/22 Qualifying Prelims on: July 13, 2021, 10:10:39 AM
CL comes back! Seven days ago, the first leg of the first round of the Champions' preliminaries was played. In the return leg, we will see the first effects of the new rule, introduced last May, that no longer takes into account goals scored away from home: in case of a tie, the match will go to extra time and then possibly to penalties. I did some research and will share my next betslip:
Borac Banja Luka-Cluj
Hibernians-Flora Tallinn
Prishtina-Ferencvaros
Valur Reykjavik-Dinamo Zagreb
Buducnost Podgorica-HJK
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 12, 2021, 10:20:44 AM
Competition's between Bucks and Suns is steaming really!
Antetokounmpo put his golden mark on the Bucks' Game 3 victory with 41 points and 13 rebounds. He's taking away from him any comparison with MJ but the guy is simply stellar!
Bucks, with him at full speed, can smash the Suns: only two weeks ago we almost believed that his season was over: look at him now!
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can on-chain analysis be relied upon? on: July 12, 2021, 10:13:30 AM
With futures volume being over 10x bigger than spot volume, can on-chain analysis (which doesn't take into account futures positions) be relied upon anymore?
You're a bit confused.
Before me others have already explained what on-chain analysis really mean: that's only good for reading transactions happening on the blockchain but all that is off-chain (exchange internal trading activity, L2 transactions etc.) is out of reach for the Blockchain Analytics company.
Therefore, no matter the volume, things don't change because of that.

229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: July 12, 2021, 09:47:08 AM
England reached the final knowing they were gonna play in Wembley. They had a great start, finding a goal in two minutes and what do they do? They start defending with the whole 11 players!
That was so stupid. Italy suffered 15 minuntes but then found the right way to attack ending with a crazy > 70% ball possession!
Italy deserved the Cup, no doubts but this England lost a once in a lifetime opportunity considering they played Euro2020 basically at home.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becareful with Meme Coins on: July 12, 2021, 09:42:48 AM
Memecoins bubble already popped. It couldn't survive such market drops and I'm very happy these memecoins will disappear soon. I've said it many times here, these memecoins remind me the altcoin craze when everyone was able to launch a shitty coin, premine it and launch it here on bitcointalk.
Don't waste your hard earned money on this shit.
Meme coins still alive now and looks like alot investors or traders interested to speculate some money into this coins. Meme coins haven't over yet and still have growth in their community. Day by day since Elon musk Shill Doge alot developers team  confidence to create the new one projects, they recognized it is best time for them to earn money from shit projects.
I'm sorry for those who you think will invest in this alive market. If the cryptocurrency market is super risky, the memecoins one is super risky! If people intend to waste their money, they're free to do so, but I'll try always to warn everyone about these shitty projects.
Elon Musk, if there was regulation on crypto, should be in jail by now.
231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EURO 2020 England vs Italy - Poll ⚽ on: July 12, 2021, 09:38:38 AM
After 90 minutes only 7 forum users were right (including me) as the game ended in a draw. If we want to take the results at large, we can definitely admit that the majority of you guys were right!
In the end, I think Italy deserved to win both considering the overall Euro2020 performance and the character showed during the final.
Thread closes now, thanks everyone.
232  Economy / Economics / Re: FBI aims to keep valuables, $86M cash confiscated in safe deposit store raid on: July 11, 2021, 07:27:25 PM
This is another justification of having your own safe vaults. Entrusting it to a third-party will always come with greater risks compared to when you're keeping the things on your own.
One very good reason to "outsource" your valuables is to prevent a $5 wrench attack. If a burglar can't open your wall safe, he can beat you up when you get home.
These are instead very good reasons not to have valuables in safe deposit boxes and safes altogether. I'll stick to bitcoin with those good old word recoveries that I can obfuscate as I want sometimes en-plain air which is the best.
Nobody would ever imagine that I have bitcoins that way.
Never trust third-parties when not necessary.

234  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs Fiat on: July 11, 2021, 06:21:56 PM
Hyperinflation is most likely coming and when it does, everyone will be like dah of course. But right now, only a few of us prepare, it reminds me of the 2013-2014 time in BTC, the writing was on the wall but it seems the price increase will never come.

I think hyperinflation is already here in the world because almost every nation is worried about cost of goes. Covid-19 is a major cause of this hyperinflation because it got most countries to print more money to take care of lockdown as they need to distribute some food stuffs to the citizens . In US there was stimulus parkages and that saw them printing and floating money into the economy. Likewise other countries went borrowing and that brought in unbudgeted money to the system. Inflation is usually caused when too much money is in circulation and of course too much money was in circulation during the covid-19 and now.
I agree, we have the world economy running under steroids since more than a year: it's like having a drug addict receiving more and more substance, at some point he's gonna break down. This is what's gonna happen at the economy, at some point probably soon, the real economy and the financial economy are going to split for good. And then I hope all of you are prepared for what's gonna happen. You still have time to protect yourself, choose wisely the assets you invest into.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: July 11, 2021, 06:17:31 PM
Gambling usually gets worse as it becomes a compensation for something else, you have to understand what. For those who need adrenaline the game is like a drug, they need to go back often to bet. I have seen withdrawal from gambling marked by panic attacks and depression because for many people life without betting is worse than without drugs.
It's necessary to find an alternative to the bet that gives adrenaline, a compensation, which could be playing sport or finding new interests. Then the family is involved in individual and group meetings, because the family is a vital point, it's almost always the spring that pushes the player to ask for help.
I asked my spouse help when I got addicted, she didn't judge me and she helped me to recover at the speed of lightning.
This was a very personal post  Smiley If you can only have some fun but if you recognize yourself getting lost, seek for help.
236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: July 11, 2021, 06:09:07 PM
~snip~

I agree. If a person does not want to inject a vaccine into his body that has not actually shown results of use and possible results of long-term side effects because it did not come on the market that long ago, it rather speaks to his caution. The actual performance of each individual vaccine will only be known over the course of several years of statistical data collection and it is a risk to use it now.
The thing is that these newly developed vaccines, and I'm referring especially to those which are mRNA based, will finish their experimenting phase in 2023. This is basically a mass experiment on top of our bodies. My doctor wants me vaccinated soon but I'm waiting for my blood tests and covid antibody testing. After that I'll decide what to do.
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EURO 2020 England vs Italy - Poll ⚽ on: July 11, 2021, 06:06:03 PM
Great thanks everyone. I'm very surprised about the poll results, it looks like the majority around here is either Italian or a wannabe Italian.  Grin
I didn't expect this result before placing the poll but this is it.
Enjoy the match everyone, I'm gonna lock the thread by tomorrow.
238  Economy / Economics / Re: FOLLOW THIS RULES TO BECOME RICH on: July 09, 2021, 12:22:04 PM
I don't wish to become rich, everyone has his/her own view of what being rich means.
I'd rather wish to become free, completely free in a world where I'd do everything it makes me feel realized. I don't wish to oppress anybody with my freedom I'll always respect the boundaries put in front of me by others but, at the same time, I'd like others to do the same to me. Especially the state should go the f*** off and leave me alone. I'd rather have a pay as you go approach with them instead of this orwellian treatment.
239  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: July 09, 2021, 12:17:58 PM
This is yet another big window of opportunity to build a long-term positioning via decent accumulation. I have less and less fiat money available every month to accumulate bitcoin but I always try to get $50 in every month. I quit cigarettes for good about 4 months ago and I already feel the difference in terms of health and, even better, in terms of savings!
