Weekly Update 2/19/2014

We have started with a new vendor for our 28nm project.  Our custom 28nm will be very competitive in the market place and will be air cooled and use a double slot.  The estimate speed of the new card will be 432 GH/s and will be listed at $1499.00.

Management is preparing for the MSD investigation, management believes that the MSD will clear VMC of any wrong acts in Missouri as VMC has offered ActiveMining shares.  Management believes that the company can be successful in the long run.  The management team is committed to seeing this through.

Ethereum also looks very promising…

Nice find knybe. Looks good, basic but it's all there.

Is there any info about lag? As we know it takes a number of minutes for confirmations on the blockchain, so will an instant buy order result in a 10min wait for confirmation that the buy has gone through? If so times of high volatility on the stock could be quite...interesting.

I've been chomping at the bit for a stable release of the wallet, can't wait to get CC going.
They have some info on the download page along with this:

Quote
Warning: the current version is only a preview which runs on the testnet, it is not easy to use and set up.
To run it you will need to install Bitcoin-Qt (or bitcoind) in addition to ChromaWallet, and to configure it to run on testnet with enabled API server.

might be worth a test run if I had some time to spare...

Regarding Colored Coins/Chroma Wallet - is the idea here that shares listed this way are beyond the control of any regulatory/legal/external entity?

Is a Colored Coins exchange essentially above the law?

Coloured Coins will be part of the Bitcoin network (the actual blockchain) so they will be as safe from regulatory control as Bitcoin is itself. There will be no exchange I think just methods of transacting with the CC on the network?

Well, there has to be SOME sort of exchange or user-interface, right?  Otherwise how are we going to see sell and buy offers, put in trade orders, etc?

Chroma Wallet

Colored Coins are decentralized just like bitcoin so in theory, it is out of reach of jonny law to a certain extent, just as any p2p network…
Although it would probably be a good idea to report CC income for tax purposes etc.

So someone please out this as a scam already and let's be done with it.

If there is anyone out there with a difinitive answer please chime in... Bargraphics?

This gets stinkier with each day.

233  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 13, 2014, 04:45:17 PM
It may not be a scam but it's a hack attempt at a mining operation by a complete bozo who failed months ago.

This bozo has paid out 630 BTC to shareholders.

And created a 'strong proposal' for a 25TH/s mining rig with eASIC - according to eASIC.

Look man, I totally appreciate your viewpoint but face the facts: the man doesn't even defend himself against accusations or attempt to provide any proof of what he says he's doing.

He is a bafoon who doesn't proof read or spell check.

I've had a bad feeling about this for months just based on his inability to articulate his words.

The company has at least 0.00014 BTC per share in bitcoins - $1mil in funds paid to a company (be that eASIC or another) - 55nm IP - these things aren't worth nothing.

But by all means let's all panic.

Dude what don't you get? Bitcointalk schemes are rife with scam and this is play by play going down the same way.

Ken has lied, broken promise after promise and has not accomplished one fucken thing he claimed he would. Let's face it man, Ken Slaughter is not an A-list type that makes things happen.

Ken has not provided proof of anything. There are no photos of receipts or letters from MSD or even a photo of him shaking hands with "our engineers." Hell he hasn't even provided proof of designs in the form of renderings of boards or chip schematics and we all take this as a ligitimate operation!!! Holy Fuck.

Ken has not delivered on anything. The plan has changed dramatically from the eASUC concept and now it looks like they might be, just maybe involved... I dunno "we're getting a quote from them" what a buncha shit! wtf happened to the NRE?!

This whole thing is coming off like some old washed up fart's fantasy of what he could have done if he had a million dollars of OPM but really had no clue or ability as to go about doing it.

There is not one ioda of evidence that this is not a scam...This is playing out way worse than any previous scam.

We are bag holders in the worse way too because we don't even get to hold the bag... We just have a screenshot of it.

The trolls have been right all along.
236  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 13, 2014, 03:14:17 AM
At what point does this farce officially qualify to be deemed a SCAM?

How do we go about getting a scammer tag on kenslaghter?
237  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 13, 2014, 02:49:23 AM
Ken,

A couple of follow ups to the Wednesday report:

1. How much do you anticipate the Missouri Securities Division investigating ActM will damage the company?

I can't say at this time, as we just got the letter.  I have not talked with a Missouri securities lawyer as I am being referred to one at this time by my general business lawyer.

Quote
2. Are we putting multiple die per package? Are you getting 1.9GH per die or per package?

1.9 GH/s per die and one die per package.

Quote
To elaborate, Shaofis expressed the following concern regarding the die/package question on IRC:

Quote
<shaofis1> and my worry that I wanted to get cleared up is
<shaofis1> if you put in 10 square mm into the calculator it comes out like 6850... which fits his numbers of 6800
<shaofis1> I'd expect a 10mm x 10mm die to package into 11mm x 11mm (at least my mind can make sense of that)
<shaofis1> so I'm worried that Ken might have plugged in 10 into the calculator to get 6800
<shaofis1> (really hoping I'm wrong)
<shaofis1> because if the die size is 10mm x 10mm then we are looking at 600 die per wafer instead of 6800
<shaofis1> so either the die is 3.16mm x 3.16mm and we will get 6800ish per wafer... or it's 10mm x 10mm and his numbers are off

Our engineers have calculated 170,000 chips per lot of 25 wafers.

Quote
3. Since it looks that eASIC is no longer involved at all with ActM, what came of the raised NRE money? Did anything of value come out of our previous partnership with eASIC?

We are still working with eASIC, we are getting multiple quotes on our Full Custom 28nm project.

Blah blah blah what a buncha horse shit. We didn't invest in actm to get a pile of go-nowhere weekly updates man! Come on!!

You sir are full of SHIT.

Give us our money back Ken, this is done.

Weekly Update 2/12/2014

On the 55nm project:

This week has had a number of developments, our project manager is working on wrapping up all the detail of our 55nm project.  We are expecting to receive our first 55nm wafers on April 10th, with next batch due on April 29th, May 5th and May 8th for a total of ~104 wafers.  It will take 1-2 weeks to have the chips packaged and then shipped to our board manufacturers.  We will be selling and mining with these chips and boards, depending on what makes the most since at the time.  The tape-out was done on Peoples ASIC account for a shuttle run of 50 prototype chips, we have canceled the shuttle run and changed to a full production run of the chips on VMC own account.  Peoples ASIC IP has been signed over to VMC and the FAB has all the legal paper work to start VMC's production run of wafers.

On the 28nm project:

We are getting quotes from a number of vendors including eASIC.  After the project is started we expect it to be completed in 8 weeks, after which we will tape-out.

On Crypto-Trade:

I am hoping to get shareholders shares transferred ASAP and get full trading up and running.  We have received a letter from the Missouri Securities Division asking for information on Active Mining Corportation, at this point we have ask for more time to respond and have seeked legal advice.

Active-Mining PR

so NO SHARES… and NO PROOF WHATSOEVER THAT ANY OF US CONTRIBUTED MONIES TO THIS JOKER, NO MINING, NO PROOF OF ANYTHING RESEMBLING A REAL BITCOIN MINING OPERATION.

man this just gets worse and worse every fucking week, such a fucken joke at this point.

Ken either admit this is in the trash or admit it's a scam but for you to act like things are moving right along is just too much anymore. FUCK YOU.

I'd say it's about time we all start looking into some kind of class-action movement against Ken&Co. because this is looking really bad… I'd like to recoup at least some of what I've wasted dumping into this fake-ass company.

In other words, no trading any time soon due to being investigated.

What a fucken bald faced lie that is, this is a flat out scam.

Ken's been scraping off yuko's shares to milk every last vestige of what he can now it's done.

I suggest Litecoin BAMT… works like a charm for pool switching:

Its what i use  Grin so i can vouch for it

Is this the 1.4 version? I didn't know you can add pools via the web page...
