Only people with trust in bitcoin know why we still mine
222  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] usa 9 x ant s3 on: October 29, 2014, 11:02:04 AM
We have 3 batch 3 doing around 440 on avg
They are numbered 127,128,129

The next batch was B7 which are also around 440 on avg
They are numbered 124,125,126

All the above ants have been cleaned and redone on with high grade thermal pads on the chipside and paste on the large coolblock
They all run nice and steady now, they keep perfect cool even though the ambient temps where pretty hot during last period

And we have 3 times S1 case with upgrade sets to S3 which are not build yet
I have no idea if they are better, since my hoster has no time to build them Sad
They was delivered after batch 8 (S3+) was released but i expect bitmain not to send us the S3+ controller chipset
One of the boards of the S1 upgrade sets is going to be send for RMA to bitmaintech
I think its best done by someone who knows how todo this and has technical knowledge

For now i got one offer for 4 x S3 being 2.2 btc
These never been overclocked, the power supplies could not handle more load anyway.

224  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 2 x habanero boards for sale [USA] on: September 02, 2014, 10:44:25 PM
Yes the miners do between 500 Gh up to about 650 Gh depending on the speed ( Mhz )
These 2 do now on my pool between 1200 to 1400 Gh if you oc them higher you need to count on them able to pop your breakers often

We sell with or without the psu/watercoolers/fans if you want them to run instant it is advised to buy them as a complete set.

$450 per board excluding the watercooler sets,  fans and psu

This coin is beyond DEAD
I can not even send the coin to an exchange because the program does not allow sending any funds from the wallet
I simply get an error that it can not make the transaction and thats it
Blocking the useless staking does not work either...
It is like the funds are gone even though it show them as being present......

231  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: M's Ant (S1/S2/S3) Monitor v2.6: alerts, auto reboot, S2 shutdown, mass reboots on: August 14, 2014, 10:25:19 PM
since the newest firmware i can not get the s3 to be found by the tool
it constant whines and crashes with the know .net errors
there is alot of new toys in the new firmware which might be no longer working for this nice ant monitor
deleting any info regarding the registry or anything i could think off did not solved the issue

Happy Mining!

Been trying to mine on this pool but my miners never gets connect to this pool damn that sucks...

Can you tell me your id? what server and port did you connect?
What text is shown on miner program?

I have never heard this kind of problem though.

I do had similar problem with the pool
As i did not have time to look into the matter untill today.
For this kinda problems i often blame firewalls/av products and ofcourse often stupidity/miss typing of myself
I opened up my firewall from bitdefender and after i made a new rule to allow public access to and from the pool at port : 20484
Poof there we go Cheesy
So check firewall and settings before anything else
If you need help just yell and some of us will try to help you
miner rudy.amd and get waiting to pool to submitr work
235  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BFGMiner 4.5.0: GBT+Strtm, RPC, Mac/Lnx/W64 on: July 30, 2014, 10:35:01 AM
Hi all.

I'm still at it with the random no-hashing issue I keep having everyday with my Raspberry Pi & now 8 Gridseed G-blades, up from 6 G-blades, new 6FT USB Cables (down from 10 & 15 footers).  And again, I even replaced the hub with a new Turcom 24 Port USB 2.0 Monster USB HUB W/ac Adapter Power Station.

I'm still not sure if this is a BFGminer issue with too many G-blades or not.
However, it works fine with up to 5 G-blades.

I updated BFGminer to the latest version, as of this writing, to v4.5.0.

I don't know what else to do.

I get the same thing using Multiminer with bfgminer.  It's always a different G-blade that stays stuck on zero, always & only using BFGminer since all I do is LTC mine with these.

Any suggestions?

I have only 2 g-blades running but i seen this often before, the only way i could get the 0 hashing away was after i turned power off on the failing one and power it back up.
But i am not sure if it would work for you, my gridseeds was from early batches and allways been a pain in the behind to get and keep them running.

I stopped buying from zeusminer and gridseed since i do not really like how these companies handle problems they caused.
A defect gridseed blade blew up a 1500 dollar pc and they simply stay silent nor respond to this issue.
Zeusminer send me some small miners which are crap because of the brutal handling by packaging or transport but they act exactly like minereu indeed nothing.
236  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: July 30, 2014, 09:50:09 AM
Pff so far i got one which already shows an X regular at certain moments and performs at only 416 Gh on average.
Non of them can be run at higher speed because all run slower when you do clock them a tad bit up.
This only results in more heat and less hashing power.
However why would anyone ever want to reboot the ants, they run allways if you have not changed anything to the settings.
All the ants i ever owned are set and forget the only reason why a ant would fail is if it looses power or the hardware gets/is damaged.
The receiving of the miners does not go smooth this time, all s1 came kinda quick but now almost each and every delivery has been extreme slow or had an exception very weird.
No 2 day delivery more like 2 weeks now or even worse.
237  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BITMAIN Antminer S3 support and OverClocking thread on: July 25, 2014, 09:51:57 AM
Depends where you live .... if in eu having 240volt you could go for server psu's delivering 2100 watts
I am currently trying to find a solution for the dell 2100 psu's if its possible to get a breakout box for them

Well still waiting for the halo client to finish loading .... Takes a long time .
I truly like this concept, but i sure think several people will not like this innovation.

i tried connect bitbar but it give me json connection error on port 4334
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Minera] Your next mining dashboard is here. on: June 12, 2014, 08:27:37 PM
I noticed that the diff seems to be a issue on the zeusminers, they made the cgminer 3.1.1 give the diff what the pool want.
Which resulted in the little zeusminer blizzard got to cope with 8192 diff because the pool wanted that
Its not hard to understand what happens if this happens to such small miners.

The gs blades is another matter, i somehow got them a bit more stable because i bought the 19 port super usb hub sold on the forum, with all 1 amp ports. Because event though the gs blades have their own power connectors they run crap on most usb hubs or low powered usb ports.
This monster hub is darn good so that can not be the issue, i had my fair share of disaster on these gs blades already.
I payed alot for them which they never EVER gonna repay.

Also because one had to be replaced and that took many weeks to solve, the fact that i kept trying to run them while weird things happened with one of the boards should have been a warning for the resellers.

But they keep you in the dark and hope you go away with your problem, because the only thing they wanna do is grab your money.
So you start to do many things hoping it will solve the problem and meanwhile you are loosing tons of time, money and efforts. The reward is headache, crap, laughter, being ridiculed, not being taken serious and so on.

And the worst thing is i have no clue why others can run their blades pretty steady ( or they are lying )
Funny all rentals i tried seem to crash as well, a bit less but they do crash during the rentals Wink
So i know i am not alone on this, some guy said he is using ubuntu and has less issues.
However since its just words i do not take it all to serious.

So the gs blades crap continues till hey die which will probably happen when the 90 day warranty ends
