those pics indicate months of use, and they did say units are new and only seen days of use. we should all support the member as right is right. hopefully Bitmain takes care of the issure, which i think they will but I also thing they might not if people are so indifferent. I dont want a used machine, and no one wants a heavily used machine which might die too soon... What version number do you have written on this AntMiner? I have several (from 3 different revisions) and all of them have been pristine clean. see photo Mine also looked similar to this one... still no word back on my busted fan... communication has never really been bitmains strongest trait.. but would like my issue to be resolved sooner than later.

Ordered one more on the 22nd, MyUPS already has it listed to be delivered by end of day Monday (27 Jan)..
No word back yet on my support request regarding broken fan.

The one I just received looks like it has lived a hard life. Front heat sinks completely choked with lint and dust build up. Looks like Bitmain is selling the farm.
Interesting. Doesn't seem like a wonderful/sustainable business model to sell things off that aren't even cleaned-up. Less than 2 minutes with a toothbrush should have made it appear a bit less dirty! The one I got today with the bad fan, once I removed it, there was noticeable buildup of dust on the heat sinks.. It was a 12/1/2013 batch.. I assume built and run for over a month.. an air can prior to shipping would do wonders

Bummer.. latest ANT came with a bad PWM fan (very dusty and used looking).. emailed the support contact on the website.. will see what happens regarding a replacement.

Guys, I want to buy a 2nd fan to put at the front. Is it a 120mm?
I really like the Arctic F12, but it doesn't come with a 3 pin fan header to 4 pin molex adapter, so can you recommend a cheap fan that does.
Thank you.
Any 120 mm will work.. I use the JetFlo and some other Corsair ones.. I just use the molex adapter and run it from the PSU directly

urgh... still not hashing!!!
every applying chnages is perpetual, meaning it rarely stops saying its 'applying changes'
something is definitely NOT right!!
Try doing a hard reset + power cycle, you may need to do it once or twice, but that has solved that problem on our units. thx, done 2 so far... no joy holding reset button for ~10sec, then power cycle? yes, two or three times already pjcltd already spent well over an hour trying to get it to work I had a similar issue on my first ANT, it wouldn't save the miner settings no matter what I tried... https://github.com/AntMiner/AntGen1/blob/master/manual/AntMiner%20FAQ.pdfPages #2 and #3 outline the fix I applied which got me up and running.. (specifically the NTPD error)

No issues with HX750s here.. don't have an actual watt usage as they were just moved into a cold room with new 240V/30A outlets..

Wow.. from reading the last couple pages.. glad I held off buying one of these power hungry pieces of crap..

Also, does each blade have an ethernet port, or the chassis itself?
Each needs an ethernet port Are you serious? I just bought 6 AntMiner S1's today, so that means I will be needing 12 Ethernet cables to run these? That has got to be a joke, right? I wish KnCMiner was selling more Jupiter units. They have the best miners ever! Just 6 there master chief...

Finally received an answer from Bitmain, graciously avoiding my questions. Just saying that my Ant will be shipped today and tomorrow I can get a tracking no. on their site... So paid 2,65 BTC and it is still hashing on Bitmains account Jeez +1 !! But atleast you got an answer... I mail-ed to info@ webmaster@ send a PM and a forum post (a few hours ago for the forum post but the where online for a couple of times) Not to troll , but there moving more in line with the other miner company's as it comes to reply-ing and customer satisfaction.... And that is a bad thing ofcourse ;( Yes, and I got a mail from Bitmain: "we are prepareing 0.2 btc coupon for the customers who buy S1 at 2.65BTC, and the coupon will be to customers' account directly. because there are so many orders waiting for processing, we can't reply you timely, and please trust bitmain, wait patiently. thanks for your understanding." What a joke, admitting that I and others have paid to much but not willing to refund the 0.45 BTC that would be fair, nooo a Coupon for 0.2 BTC!! You gotta be kidding, Bitmain!! So yes, yet another ASIC scam!!! Hi, we respect your private and won't post the email here. but we should tell the real fact: you have requested to cancel your order at 10:06 beijing time in the morning Jan.17 and another important thing: your order was shipped out on time. in general, it takes some time to confirm the payment and arrange shipment for each order, so we promise shipment within 48 hours after customers finish full payment. at last, we pay for the double shipping cost to meet your requirements, and full refund to you, the loss of time is for both of us. we are trying our best to serve our loyal customers. cyberspaced: Hopefully you get your refund so you can quit clogging this thread up with your dribble..

Wow - MyChoice UPS shows ETA for my 15 Jan order to be Monday 20 Jan...
Can't beat Bitmain shipping speed!
Mine is still not shipped, but I have only just bought it yesterday. How long did you wait until you've been given a tracking number? No tracking # given.. just sign up for MyChoice at UPS.com (works for the USA) and it will show/notify you when packages are shipped to your address. I see, neat! Did the status on Bitmain website changed from "unshipped" to "shipped"? Negative - IMO I rather see an actual UPS shipping update on the UPS end vice the Bitmain end.. that means people are getting things shipped instead of updating order status on the Bitmain site or sending out tracking numbers.. Would be nice to have both.. but it is what it is

So yes, yet another ASIC scam!!! So - I should start bitching about paying 4.xx BTC back in November? Or how about the 3 BTC for xmas ones? There has never been any price guarantee or protection with Bitmain.. I almost bought one @ the 2.65 price point.. but held off thinking another batch may come along slightly cheaper.. While it would be "nice" if you were given a coupon or perhaps some U1's to help the quick turnaround buyers remorse in this case.. but it is what it is.. Bitmain is NOT a scam in any sense simply because you disagree about a sudden price drop
