There might have been only few projects that had paid in ETH, if the reason why they are paying in ETH is to avoid the decline in price once bounty is distributed, they must have been really confident with their coin once it has been released. In my own opinion projects pay using their coin because the value of it is uncertain and will only be derived once the demand is creted when it is already in the market. So, it is either they are paying none or a lot to bounty hunters depending on the market price of the bounty.

Keep in mind if ever the halving will pump bitcoin price, altcoin price usually falls whenever there's a rally in bitcoin price. The problem about ICOs is that investors had a huge expectation about new projects since 2017 had been a good year for some projects, either legitimate or not. During this time some projects earned a lot of money because some ICO tokens could be sold higher than ICO price. When the problem rose around 2018 when the bear market started, projects started dying, ICOs failing and the number of scam ICOs popping out, which gave ICO a bad reputation. Not to mention investors who are impatient on getting ICO tokens for a quick profit.

I think it is not just all about crowdfunding, the project, but also us investors should do our part. Investing in crypto is not a quick way or an overnight get rich scheme. Some legitimate project takes time to grow and to have a decent market price.

This is one of the reasons why some investors are stuck with a coin. I also had been left out by a project before which I think has a good potential and had lost a lot of opportunities investing in other coins because of it. The project was good and has a working product, active team, development and a sold out crowdfunding stage, but the price of the coin kept on dipping until it almost cost really cheap compared to it's ICO price. Investing in something that could really be valuable in the future is a good idea. We will never know what the future will bring for crypto after a decade or two and if ever storing it in a device that we can use today will be accessible during that time. Thank you for sharing. As time goes by we should be more cautious in regards to security. The number of risks, frauds, and attacks happening as time goes by increases. That is why I don't just download, open, or access anything randomly without even checking if it is legitimate or not. I always look for feedbacks online before doing anything.

This year had been a roller coaster ride for me. I had earned a decent amount of crypto through the campaigns that I have joined to, however, I have lost a decent amount of money when I panic whenever the price goes down. This will be a good lesson for me and hoping this year will be a productive year for me.
