221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DNotes 2.0 - Staking, CRISP Interest, DNotes Pay on: August 30, 2018, 05:26:47 PM
For those interested in a little distraction, try reviewing the history of real Bitcoin's creation, one of the best sources is right here on Bitcointalk where Satoshi posted code and discussed the creation and ongoing development of Bitcoin.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3;sa=showPosts

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=34.0

Go to the last page (27) and work back for proper cronological order. You can also pop in and out of each forum where Satoshi posted to view the separate discussions. There are many other subjects/forums with posts from Satoshi, these are just an example and worth looking at if you are into history.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EON] EXSCUDO - ICO successfully finished! on: August 29, 2018, 05:11:49 PM
My idea is that I do not really believe this project. It's been a long time and has not made a big difference.

Took Bitcoin many years to make a big difference. You have to decide if you trust the developers or not. If you do, then you might want to stick with it, if you don't, you might want to dump it. I think, in this case, it's that simple but, each person has a different tolerance for risk, the choice is wholly up to the individual.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EON] EXSCUDO - ICO successfully finished! on: August 29, 2018, 04:45:33 PM
Will EON ever be valuable?

Who knows but, since I didn't invest much on it in the ICO, I have transferred it all to my IOS "Channels" app/wallet, and I'll just sit on it. Selling, if even possible right now, isn't that much better than the coin being worthless so, I'm putting a bit of faith in the developers and lets see what happens...
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC2] Einsteinium | FUNDING THE FUTURE WITH THE FUTURE OF CURRENCY on: August 29, 2018, 04:32:41 PM

Corrected Message: EMC2 THE BEST COIN EVER!

--- IMAGE REMOVED ---

You are such a total waste of time and forum space. Don't you have anything to do in the real world? Oh, nevermind, you don't, that's why your here posting crap, got it. Don't worry, I'll correct your posts since you can't seem to get it right.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLOAK] Private, Secure, Untraceable & Decentralized Digital Currency on: August 29, 2018, 04:18:20 PM

Hello everyone,

I'm Emanuele, the Italian coordinator for Cloakcoin. First of all, I would like to share the enthusiasm shown by the other coordinators, it is very interesting to perceive the air of collaboration and new ideas from within the team and then see the potentialities concretized outside. Cloakcoin is developing an inclusive approach to the community, with a direct dialogue aimed at improving the project itself. It would be nice to be able to also develop the same concepts at the local level.

My latest work has been characterized by the desire to expand the world of cryptocurrency enthusiasts and, more specifically, enthusiasts of Cloakcoin. In the last month, I have completed almost all of the following planned activities:

- Translation of all information on the website into Italian. The Whitepaper had already been translated before, you can find it on the website.
- Creation of a list of various businesses in the Italian territory for the acceptance of Cloak as a payment method and communication with them
- Compiled a list of conferences and similar events in which the Cloak team is evaluating the opportunity to participate (as a sponsor, speaker or participant)
- Communication with various influencers, groups and specialized local and international pages to expand the fanbase and for hypothetical interviews of the Cloak team
- Creation of Italian Telegram Group

With respect

Italian Coordinator Emanuele

You sound like a super busy guy, thanks for taking the time and effort to further CLOAK. How many other coordinators does CLOAK have world wide?

That is GREAT quote! Love it...
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [$XVG] VERGE [POW][MultiAlgo][BLACKHOLE][Entire Line of TOR/i2P Resources] on: August 29, 2018, 04:08:32 PM
ugh, stop quoting that huge pic. lol

That does get quite annoying. If would be cool if the board software automatically reduced picture size by a factor of 10 when quoting includes large pics. Something to consider...
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Steemit.com: Blogging is the new Mining on: August 26, 2018, 05:50:22 PM
How does this scam work? At 1st glance the rules are rather tricky...

Scammers buy premined/instamined coins to purchase "power" to upvote articles about their projects and downvote the articles of their competitors.

Right?

Fresh account named SCAMcoinTalk and all your post are being critical of altcoins but you do seem to have some knowledge about circumstances relating to the history of certain coins.

But I think this is just a troll account made to just go around spreading fud, probably a BTC maximalist.

"If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry."

Nor do we have time to listen to you, good bye...
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - Blockchains Interoperability with SmartBridge 🔹 ARK on Binance 🔹 on: August 26, 2018, 12:42:27 PM
Here's a sneak peak at a new ARK Ecosystem commercial. Let us know what you think in the comments, and don't forget to share it Wink

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUjDa7iZcAE

Well, actually, not that great. Visuals are good, spoken text is childish, to much "oh wow!" and nobody creates an app in less than an hour after they first heard of ARK Ecosystem. Sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear but, I struggled to get through the whole thing. Nice effort but needs refinement. IMO
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - Blockchains Interoperability with SmartBridge 🔹 ARK on Binance 🔹 on: August 25, 2018, 12:02:51 AM
From the roadmap, isn't there a typo in the bellow sentence? Or is this a normal sentence structure which I didn't know? I'm not a native speaker so I might be mistaken...

"ARK Pay will be a simple open-source widget that will provide merchants and vendors to easily implement and start accepting ARK as means of payment in online shops"

Wouldn't the correct one be "...that will help merchants and vendors to easily implement ... etc ..."
or "that will provide merchants and vendors the tools to easily implement ... etc ..."

Good catch. "allow" would also work along with several other adverbs.
231  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the opinions on bitcoin’s future on: August 23, 2018, 05:12:49 PM
Bitcoin is one of the most brilliant technology every created. The future of bitcoin lies in the hands of the people patronizing crypto. As long as the lots of people will adopt and use bitcoin then bitcoin will be valuable in the future. Bitcoin can really make a difference when it comes to doing transactions online.

When it comes to the future of success of bitcoin, we just have to wait for the moment to come. I'm pretty positive that this technology will go a very long way and there's no one can stop it even the government.

Bitcoin was never designed to be a speculative asset, it was designed to be a currency. Even here many (most) of you are treating it as an investment. Many of you think it's dying because the price is dropping. Well, if that's how you define Bitcoin, you may very well loose your shirts, or become filthy rich if you're wrong but, you still won't understand Bitcoin.

Bitcoin was created and designed to free the world from the monetary oppression of governments and banks controlling the money supply and keeping people in poverty or close to it, as a means of controlling the population and making the 1% richer off the labor of the rest of us. Bitcoin answers to no central power,  Bitcoin can be used as money, in nations or, between friends. Outside the infrastructure we have created and the mega markets and exchanges, it's true value is what two or more people decide it is and that is the beauty of Bitcoin. Because of this, it will never "die" but will always have a purpose no matter what value the world assigns to it on any given day.

Bitcoin IS the future and the future is coming...

You have an excellent site and such an excellent release in a few hours. Keep working, guys.

How do you find the time to visit so many forums and leave so little input? Remember, you need Merit to rank up, good luck...
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [$XVG] VERGE [POW][MultiAlgo][BLACKHOLE][Entire Line of TOR/i2P Resources] on: August 22, 2018, 09:00:54 PM
I sometimes think that everyone new to crypto thinks that every coin was an ICO. I think every coin should get a rating when a coin was launched and if it was an ICO or not. I think coins like Verge that are not ERC20 tokens or ICO's have the best chance of surviving. Verge is listed on more than 22 exchanges I believe, very good sign. Say what you will but this coin is here to stay for sure. Happy hodling is what I'd say

I agree. The time to worry about instamine or not was four years ago, give it up...
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLOAK] Private, Secure, Untraceable & Decentralized Digital Currency on: August 21, 2018, 09:12:20 PM
Very nice, I like it  Wink

However I'm wondering why this coin has such low day trade volume? Maybe it would be good to put some more resources into marketing to let more people know about CLOAK?

It's not this coin that has such a low trading volume. And the whole market is what the situation is. Wait and everything will be restored

Exactly, the Market in general is in the crapper, give it time, it will turn around!

236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON (TRX) is going crazy. on: August 20, 2018, 07:03:33 PM

Have to remember, the market sucks at the moment and EVERYTHING is undervalued. Tron will pickup when the rest do or, even lead the charge but, it will gain value.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [$XVG] VERGE [POW][MultiAlgo][BLACKHOLE][Entire Line of TOR/i2P Resources] on: August 18, 2018, 03:46:39 PM
How is this still a thing? Don't people know the chain has been infiltrated AT LEAST 3x and the developer is an insidious liar?

If you realize that a significant number of messages are wishful bag holders, and people repeating the same two phrases, "whales buying" and "cheap coins", no, this is not "still a thing" and won't be unless for a miracle.

Verge is doing fine and moving forward. It's the whole market I'm concerned with. Do some research before predicting in the future.

I was surprised to see the price of verge today, prices dropped dramatically. I saw the verge price 3 months ago the price was still 800 satoshi per XVG. see the current market trend It seems that the verge price will continue to decline

The price of everything dropped, give it time...
