2202  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Dilemma between focusing on B@bitcointalk and my current paid employment on: March 20, 2023, 01:14:15 PM
Do I quit my Job for Bitcointalk? (This is running through my mind)

My Job pays less that $300 a Month.

You still need 109 activity points to become a full member and only then can you expect some kind of income from this forum. It takes at least 109 days, which is close to 4 months. can you endure that much without the current $300/m salary? even after that with the Full member rank, you will hardly reach that amount.
it's probably a win-win situation if you can keep your existing job and slowly upgrade your account here. it will definitely pay off at some point, but not immediately and instantly.
2203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: March 20, 2023, 01:03:52 PM
I don't know how best to put this to say but most times if not all the time, I see referral bonuses or commission as something difficult especially in my country were people barely have to give listening ear to anything that has to do with depositing money online and most of the referral commissions will require you to get those you refer to first make a deposit and be able to wager same amount before one is been able to claim those commissions.
Can you also point out any casino that wouldn't have to stress with having those I refer wager even after deposit before I can claim my commission for referral please.

you should once again think about how realistic what you are looking for is.
the casino will pay you affiliate commission only for the part that they themselves earned from a player, any other expectation is nonsense and it would be crazy if they pay only for registration or even only for a deposit without playing.
what benefit does the casino get from all that?
2204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: A website platform where you can list your coins and tokens for free on: March 20, 2023, 12:31:19 PM

A website platform where you can list your coins and tokens for free

You can list on our site for free.

www.coinvotelist.com

I didn't go into any analysis of your site, but this is one of the slowest sites I've seen. I'm not sure if the problem is with your hosting or if the coding is problematic, but if I have to wait between 30-60 seconds to open the page I lose interest very easily. if you want it to be attractive for anyone to advertise there, you have to significantly improve the speed of the site.
since you are relatively new in this kind of service offer, it is also a good idea to first create your own brand and secure a visitor base, and only then start monetizing such traffic.

your page is not even ranked on metrics like Similarweb, which confirms that you are at the very beginning. I would like to see the basis on which you determined that advertising on your site is worth as much as you indicated.

There are many websites where you can list your coins and tokens for free.

do they have a monopoly on this type of service? healthy competition is always good, right?
2205  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Telegram Bot] Bitcoin Fees Alert on: March 20, 2023, 12:18:10 PM
TODO:

- Let the user choose the "type" of fee he wants to get notified about (high priority, medium priority, hour fee, half-hour fee, etc...).
- Huh

is there any chance to change the avatar image on this bot, to something recognizable and unique making it easier to recognize for those of us who have a large number of channels we follow?
it would be great because, for example, I have some contacts that look almost identical.

2206  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why Blockchair.com always proof captcha? on: March 20, 2023, 10:28:29 AM
I just got from the morning, i don't what happens, is blockchair.com being hacked?

I am not a blockchain.com user again since many years ago, I do not know if the app or site do bring up captcha or not,

we are not talking about the blockchain.com service here, it is in the subject as well as in the part of the text that you quoted.
2207  Economy / Lending / Re: loan 500 € on: March 19, 2023, 10:19:42 PM
How do I know? That's because he has been spamming me everywhere since I made the mistake of letting him talk with me.

and he asked for a loan from you via PM messages and on Discord? a really tireless person.
2208  Economy / Services / Re: WTS. I'm looking for someone who can help me to open my Old FACEBOOK account on: March 19, 2023, 02:59:44 PM
Why title indicate WTS?  Want to sell?

No one can help you aside from yourself because you're the only one who knows the credentials of your account.
Related articles on how to recover an FB account is here, https://www.facebook.com/help/mobile-basic/231208473756221.
EDIT - ok and I sent support but not good news .notyet solve ,

if you don't have an answer from the official Facebook, what do you expect to get here? as far as I know, FB does not have its representatives here.
the assumption remains that you are looking for someone to hack that account, which sounds a bit illegal. why would anyone do that for you with some small compensation? Also, can you prove that is your account, and it's not from some third person whose account you want to take over?

in the end, you can always open a new account, not a big deal, I've seen it many times.
2209  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any problems with *CHIPMIXER* coins? on: March 19, 2023, 01:40:34 PM
YAh, another topic about mixers.
*My friend* has some coins that were mixed during the past years, moved them into cold storage, and he wants to sell them in the future.
Are there any complaints about closing KYCed accounts, tax reports or problems that resulted from depositing ChipMixer mixed coins? Specifically after ChipMixer.com has been seized.

- Yamane

if he is distraught, he can re-mix coins through one of the currently active services. or to exchange them through one of the exchanges that do not require mandatory KYC. Just only the most straightforward examples.
some services tried to keep the coins earlier (before this closing of ChipMixer) because they came from the mixer. All are under the umbrella of the AML fight. For example, read this thread and watch account fixedfloat statements as representative of one exchanger.
2210  Economy / Lending / Re: loan 500 € on: March 19, 2023, 01:29:13 PM
What collateral of a crypto nature are you willing to provide that is at least 125% of the value you are wanting to loan?

there is no point in entering into any kind of discussion with him. He has been asking for a loan for years, although he has received an answer and explanations countless times.

btw. His collateral is some kind of story about the iPhone that he has and he can provide evidence about it. He thinks that holding something worth more than $500 in his hand is enough to get a loan here.

ignoring and possibly deleting his troll posts is best for both us and him.

2212  Economy / Services / Re: Advertising banners on ico-calendar.com on: March 19, 2023, 12:18:00 AM
The site has 1500 visitors a day.

can you explain such a large number of daily visits for a site that is only 6 days old? I mean, the domain is registered on 13.03.2023.

Code:
Domain name: ico-calendar.com
Registry Domain ID: 2764815602_DOMAIN_COM-VRSN
Registrar WHOIS Server: whois.namecheap.com
Registrar URL: http://www.namecheap.com
Updated Date: 0001-01-01T00:00:00.00Z

Registrar Registration Expiration Date: 2024-03-13T17:04:56.00Z

Each ICO investor pays an average of 20,000 $. This means that if 1 % of the website visitors in the advertising period invests in the "ICO of the week", you get 2.100.000 $ from the investors plus the 1000 - 2000 % price increase.

Who says that? do you have any official data for this claim?
because of such an opinion that you are trying to express, we have a bunch of fraudsters who are trying to deceive investors with fake ICO projects, which only cause damage to the crypto world. the best evidence is the many "GPT" ICOs that try to abuse the current trend of the gpt keyword.

The top banner for the "Ico of the Week" costs € 5000 for the 7 days. If the advertising campaign flops, the money will be returned.

what guarantee do you give that you will return the money? Will you agree to use escrow even in the event that the advertising campaign fails and does not raise $2+ million to guarantee the return of the money?
2213  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xbit1.com - New 1xbit.com management - We will try to solve all the problems - on: March 18, 2023, 08:18:05 PM
To all the victims: Please contact me with PM.
Mark.

if you really want to solve things here, doing it through a private discussion is not the best solution. You should be completely transparent so that others can see your way of managing the problem and solving it.

Quote
To all the victims: Please contact me with PM.

"victims" is at least a suitable name for 1xbit users. is this the final acceptance of reality and the assumption of responsibility?

You are the official account of 1xbit that I know, but what about the OP's statement above if it has nothing to do with your account, they have confirmed that they are new management, the 1xbit site has also changed to 1xbit1.com, so who is the official account of you guys?

So, what is the truth here? it would be good if they could leave some confirmation on the site about who represents them here.
2214  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] bitcoindata.science on: March 18, 2023, 08:06:21 PM
I redesigned and wrote the entire site and code from scratch.

I decided to create this ANN to centralize all discussions related to all tools here.

It is now much faster, I fixed bugs  and there are some new features, such as Dark/Light Mode.

you forgot one very important thing when you open ANN, and that is to leave a link to your website. That is very important in many aspects.
at the moment, there is only somewhere in the middle a link to the page with donations, and someone who sees this thread for the first time would have to copy/paste or enter the web address manually.

I'm glad to see the improvement of the site, it means that you have also progressed with your skills, so you have noticed shortcomings that you can change.

2216  Economy / Reputation / Re: How wide reaching can the consequences of Chipmixer money laundering be? on: March 17, 2023, 12:49:02 PM
As for paying back, there have been other mixers seized and nothing happened to the people wearing those sigs.
There have been scam ICO / IEO and everything else shut down by authorities and nothing happened to the people wearing those sigs.
There have been cases of casinos shut down by authorities and nothing happened to the people wearing those sigs.

And so on.
You are right those casinos and ICO/STO/IEO scams that made anonymous people behind them overnight multi-millionaires, how many of them were ever brought to appear in Courts to face justice?

If the general consensus in the forum is one of calm for those that participated in the signature campaign then that is precisely what is needed at this time. You are right, there has never been a case of any authorities asking signature campaign participants to repay monies. I hope the authorities do not start trying to do it now as a deterrent to stop people promoting mixers.

I wonder, if the Chipmixer signature campaign paid $70-$100 a week like the others, would there be so much concern and drama about the investigation of its participants or even about the forum itself?

I have shared the link to their page on FB and Twitter a couple of times, should I be worried?
2217  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Fake cloud miner on: March 17, 2023, 12:19:28 PM
whenever I see a cloud scheme, somehow the very sound of that word sets off the "fraud" alarm.

I think you have a redundant word in opening this topic, fake. I'm not sure if there is a regular and legal cloud mining service at all. They all hide behind fake mining.
2218  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbet closed my account without paying the balance in my account. on: March 17, 2023, 12:11:03 PM
1Xbit and 1Xbet are probably the worst casinos you could find. just as you found this forum to make a complaint, you could also read here a lot of accusations about the work of these casinos.

You can withdraw as much as you deposited, sir.

are you sure you are communicating with the right person from that casino? Despite the lousy reputation of 1X...casinos, the word "sir" seems to me to be from a fraudster, rather than an official.

After this message, I checked the last investment in the stock market, it was 1199 dollars, but when I entered my account, there was 153 dollars, my balance was deleted.

is your account blocked or do you still have access to it? can you extract the betting history and all changes on your account, maybe you or someone on your behalf placed bets and lost?
I don't quite understand how you don't know how much you made a deposit here. Can that $1199 be the amount with all the winnings?

are they really right when they say that you had multiple accounts on their platform at the same time? If you are, then they have the right to follow their own rules and you don't have many reasons to be proud.
2219  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] Betnomi.com Review Campaign | 0.001 BTC/Review on: March 16, 2023, 01:17:23 PM
I thought it was for 50 members in total.
I don't know if more of us are going to get paid or is it for the limited 13 only.  Grin
However, they have received enough reviews so I guess they are at least fine with that part. Wink

I already forgot about this, it's been almost a month since I "applied". Now I see in a subject that this campaign is [FULL], which means the campaign is over or finished. rather unclear campaign management, so it is open to guesswork and assumptions about the course of the campaign itself.
2220  Other / Meta / Re: Should the forum stop advertising mixers? on: March 16, 2023, 02:45:41 AM
From the above statement, I think we all know that bitcointalk complies with applicable laws in US jurisdictions. If the US government asks bitcointalk to ban that type of advertising then I think there is a possibility for the admin to approve it.

You said it yourself, this is US jurisdiction, not China. So there will never be a request like that.

Yes, there will never be a request like that. The worse scenario would be US blacklisting Bitcointalk.org if theymos refuses to comply whatever directive they may give, just as Russia did.

ChipMixer worked for almost six years, and only now has it been established that "they were not in accordance with the law". if the authorities did not recognize it for all that time, why would this forum be responsible for it?
Finally, did anyone from the investigation ask for any information from the people involved in the work of the forum?

should this forum take responsibility for all the crap that has happened so far, starting from MtGox to FTX, many discussions were held about all this.
