2201  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy more so you can sell some on: December 27, 2021, 11:31:56 PM
I have always said that buying in the dip is the best thing to do, especially for BTC, however there are times when you have to take into account the capacity that people have in your pocket, it is very easy to say that you are going to buy in the dip, but if there is not enough money? And if you buy and keep going down, the logic indicates that you should keep buying, but if there is no more? so I prefer to set a buy price level and if the price goes down even more, I sit still, I do nothing else but Hodl until I can the price go up and make a profit.
You're right and buying the dip is most effective if you have done the selling at tip part because otherwise, you will run out of funds very quickly. It's perfectly fine to keep buying more for whales or people who generate income outside the trading but for common traders we have to be sharp and selling at the tip is equally if not more important than buying the dips.

Trading is easy if you just do what's the right thing to do at the right moment. Some people are hyped and buy the tip and sell the dip which is what is causing 50% of the traders to lose money. They panic when price drops and get hyped too quickly when price is rising.
It is somewhat a personal choice. I buy more because I have the goal to achieve and I'm committed to doing it while still having the chance. But it won't just be all about buying more and holding, selling is also a thing to plan after. Thus, if we buy more, we expect to sell more and possibly more profit but this is not the case to happen all the time, unless if we buy them at cheap prices and sell at ATH.
2202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk once again throwing shade at bitcoin on: December 27, 2021, 09:00:18 PM
Another attempt to hype DOGE again, sorry but it's not happening anymore, DOGE price trend is going down and there's no way Elon Musk could save Doge downtrend even if he hypes it regularly. Bitcoin ===> DOGE, that's a fact and any coin cannot stand against bitcoin in terms of competition.
2203  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You don't need to hodl a particular coin all your life on: December 26, 2021, 09:38:23 PM
In general, now the market allows you to simply buy various coins and keep them in your account. After all, sometimes it is difficult to guess which of these coins will grow significantly.
It's hard for us to guess but if we're aware of the capability of the coin that we've bought, we can have that assumption that it's either good for long term or short term.
That's why our involvement with our investment is actually the key for it to know if you know what you're buying. Without having the thought of it is going to make you broke if you just buy according to the suggestion of people and you're not involving your own time for the research and anything in particular to that coin that you're interested.
It is very important to totally know the project we invested and it is always the key to success.

I buy and hold Bitcoin and ETH not just because I know how promising they are, it was also because I've trusted these projects. Similarly, this will also be the reason why they are on the top and it remains on the lead as the people know its capability over the hundreds and thousands of coins exits.

But, this never means that we ought to hold for the rest of our life or die with them. No, it was not the purpose but have to make use of it either to sell or trade.
2204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 24, 2021, 08:58:30 PM
Christmas is suppose to be fan, I mean watching games with the star players in different teams is fun to watch as we can see a competition at a full level, but looks like we are not gonna see it this Christmas.

It's ok regardless of who will play or not because of safety and health protocols. Those who won't be able to play on Christmas day doesn't mean their respective team will not be on their full level. Lots of big matches on Christmas day games we sure don't want to miss.

Nets vs Lakers
Warriors vs Suns

Can't wait to watch these games.

I think Warriors vs Suns is better to watch as this team is already tied 1-1 this season so far. They won a game in their respective home court but the last time the Suns lose, they were playing without Booker. Tomorrow they'll be in their home court again so I think Suns will get this, they are now -5, but not sure they'll cover that spread as Warriors are really doing well.

That's what I think too.
Suns and Warriors are the most interesting teams to watch this year in the Western Conference. The Eastern Conference too has a very interesting teams too. The Bucks and Nets still the front runners for the NBA finals, but the Chicago Bulls are also showing the potential to be in that category too.
Wohooo the NBA is getting unpredictable and exciting as the season goes on.

Ya, I think that the Warriors and Bulls are my favorites for the Finals at the moment.  A far cry from before the season started when I thought nobody could ever touch the Nets or Lakers.  Who knows, maybe they're just not interested in regular season basketball and we'll see them flip a switch in the playoffs.  When everyone is in playoff mode basketball is an entirely different game.  I think with all the covid nonsense and everything else going on in society today, the players are just cruising until it's time to get serious.  I don't expect anyone to put in much effort until after the all star break at the earliest.

I would be surprised if the Bulls will be in the NBA Finals, but I do like it because that means they would have to beat the Nets and the Bucks who are the early favorites to win the ECF and even the NBA Finals. The way it's going now, it's very unpredictable especially if it will continue until the playoffs, just like last season, we might see a team that will bag the trophy that is not in our expectation.
2205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc hodlers vs short time traders on: December 24, 2021, 06:22:47 PM
~
The winner is who get profit. Like what people said that it is just preference, people can pick whatever way for them to gain profit. And compared 2 thing that almost same, it is not a good idea because who support holding will answer it, and for the daily trader, will answer what they think too.

Afaik, you are right, the one who wins is the one who gets the profit. No matter how lucky he is in holding Bitcoin either 10% or 20% he is still the winner. What we see today is that people who are completely unlucky are those who have never held bitcoins but can afford to own them.
Part-time traders will not be as lucky as the holders. Usually day trading is more sensitive if you apply a trading method. They even better understand the market situation at any given time, as they interact on the exchange. But only one that is often overlooked is saving CL at unexpected market times.

I think the same, for me the hodlers are the ones who have all the possible advantage, there is no other way that can be applied to carry out a better finance operation in crypto, those who are short-term traders, are constantly at huge risk of lose their money with a bad position or that they see the market in a wrong way, and if it is leveraged it is much quicker to lose money, a hodler is an investor by nature, and they usually always leave their money increasing in the long term and this is something that does not concern them.

They have both the chance, actually. Short-term traders or holders can be in profit provided that they know what they are doing and doing it well. Might say that trading is very risky but can't deny that holding is also risky especially when you hold the wrong coins, not Bitcoin or potential altcoins. We can compare which one is too risky but in terms of profit gaining, they all both have the chance and in some cases, trading is more profiting than usual holding.
2206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You don't need to hodl a particular coin all your life on: December 24, 2021, 05:52:43 PM
How long have you been hodling a particular coin while the coin has been making progress for your profit taking and yet dropping in your eyes ?

Some people don't understand the hodling technique, they are hodling a particular coin and never sell to rebuy again or to sell and buy another coin. You can sell this coin and buy that other coin that is how to turn over your money.

I didn't tell you to sell your bitcoin and not to buy again. I only say you sell the bull and buy the bear  Grin
I will hold until I can still able to manage it. Perhaps, selling during the bullish season is somewhat a good idea but sometimes, it never happens to me, and just sold them earlier. I may say I'm not a long-term holder, I would take the opportunity to sell my coins at a very reasonable price and take the profit. It probably people will say that I was wrong but somehow, I was contented with the small profit, at least I secured my funds/capital for the next investment.
2207  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to find Airdrop or ICO project? on: December 24, 2021, 03:52:57 PM
I want to know how to find airdrop or ICO project...how to check scam or real and how much profit airdrop can make...and if u have experience about airdrop or ico things can u share this exp in here:Smiley

Your information is quite outdated, ICO is not popular anymore, if there is, it's most likely just a scam project.

if you are looking for a project to invest in, you should look at their announcement thread here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0
You will see a lot of projects listed and not all of them are legit, so you should DYOR before investing.
2208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin - a joke or a way to make money? on: December 24, 2021, 03:43:20 PM
In this case many people how said that DOGECOIN is a joke and it is a scam project but actually that is absolutely rong because The DOGECOIN in this time a more popular in the market and the people think that is fake project.
In this time i say anyone invest in the dogecoin in few days they definitely a big and a huge amount profit.
It's not a fake project or whatsoever, it's legit but the only thing that concerned investors is the coin is only a "meme coin", so nothing is special on this coin as we can't expect it will develop in the future, it will only be popular if more merchants or businesses will accept doge, in that case, I think the current price of DOGE is just overvalued, and we know that is cause by the hype.
2209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain Bitcoin to Newbies on: December 24, 2021, 12:33:14 PM
Information online is very helpful if one wants to learn, in fact, we can educate ourselves without a problem as long as we are resourceful enough to search for the necessary information to help us improve our knowledge. Explaining to a newbie should be easy, just go with the basic and let them do the rest, the more they dig deeper, the more information they'll know and that would help them more intelligent when it comes to investing.

I agree. The internet has enormous information about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. Also, many known personalities, brands and companies have been into cryptocurrency during these times that is why there has been more input regarding it. It’s just important to note that such information should still be filtered based on the legitimacy of the sources.

They are lucky they have someone to guide them, if I would tech someone, I will let them explore and tell them just ask me if you have some doubts so I could refer you to the site where you can learn on a specific matter. it's not good to spoon feed them the information as they will be too reliant to you, and worst if if they blame you if they failed.
2210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain Bitcoin to Newbies on: December 24, 2021, 11:38:06 AM
There's a friend about Bitcoin last 2 years who have no interest in it but I was surprised when he came to me last week to tell me what he need to know about Bitcoin. I asked him why the sudden change of heart, he told me about the testimony he hear from someone and how he would have made enough profit effortlessly.

He's still a newbie. My question is, is there a way or link for to explain Bitcoin to newbies?

Apart from the forum rules and regulations is there a thread on this forum that explains in detail the whole concept of crypto currency on this forum?
Internet is more complete than Us who need to explain, why not just Give Him more links and videos so he will study on his own but of course with your Guidance so in case he has question then you will only need to teach Him something.
and also he won't blame you instead he made a mistake in investing because you are not the one who tell him where to invest lol.

Nowadays if there are someone who try asking me about what and how to deal with crypto? i send them Videos and  this forum for them to study deeply.
It's very common people will be interested when they know the benefits of bitcoin because what they need is proof that will interest them.
Yes, now there are many on the internet and any links needed about crypto and bitcoin from A to Z depending on what is needed and providing explanations according to existing knowledge can help beginners to find their own way without having to fully educate them because of the risk of failure they will blame you.
provides reliable links related to crypto risks and functionality and recommends logging in to this forum so that beginners can develop their knowledge well.

2211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi wallet got activated today (Satoshi is back) on: December 24, 2021, 11:18:05 AM
Maybe put some links and the address you are referring to, that way we can also check if the news is true or fake.

From what I read from the posts above, it seems like it's not the real Satoshi, and therefore I don't think it's a big news.
The logic is very simple, if it's really the real satoshi, then it's already in the headlines in the crypto space as it's indeed a big news.
2212  Economy / Economics / Re: Advice for the season. on: December 23, 2021, 11:00:43 PM
Don't bend to societal pressure of over spending during this festive season, make serious plans for the celebrations and the coming year, Don't fall into the trap or bend to the pressure of selling off a percentage of your cryptos to  spend this festive season, a new year is coming. January is usually a long month that carries along a lot of expenses, make plans and preparations now for tomorrow, spend wisely today.
That you are right! But can't stop people making their celebration more than a party, more than Christmas as they are still alive when the covid-19 strikes us. YOLO, people got this and think they should have to this big celebration with their family. But yeah, we still have to use our money wisely and not just to think today but also for tomorrow and for the following days.

Anyways, if you are a rich person, just do what you want.
2213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 23, 2021, 09:51:21 PM
Cleveland will have a game today, playing against the Boston Celtics on the road, what do you think is the right bet here?

I'm thinking of Cleveland handicap of +6.5 because they are too good at covering the spread.
Does it fit your analysis guys?
I'm also leaning on the plus points at first but after checking the injury report i've changed my pick to Celtics. The Cavaliers are missing one too many players and I think they'd easily lose by double digits.

Not a good bet mate, Cleveland loses by 10 points and that means our bet loses as well. Til next time, I'm not done with the Cleveland Cavaliers, I'm sure they will bounce back if not win the game at least they'll cover as they'll still be the underdog next game and that is against the Raptors.

The cavs lost cause they were down some big men.  If cavs are at full strength they will be favorites.  New covid world we live in where every night in the winters will be different lineups depending on who is available lol.  Crazy.

So we have to wait and see who are going to play so we won't make a wrong decision in putting our bet. Sometimes, even though Cavs are complete, they are still underrated that they are listed as an underdog, and I'm really taking advantage of that opportunity as a regular fan sometimes would still see the team is a bad team.
2214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino account ban cases on: December 23, 2021, 09:31:48 PM
The number cause of an account getting banned is cheating.

Sometimes even if we don't think we are cheating we are just surprised that our account has been banned, the reason is we don't follow the TOS and because we just sign up without reading the TOS, we are unaware we had already broken some of the rules, so we complain but actually, it's our fault.

However, scam casinos ban you for no reason, they just want to scam, so always consider the reputation of the casino before signing up.
2215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: December 23, 2021, 09:09:53 PM
Compare it to recent fight with Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Richard Commey. I hope that Tyson will not go the same as Mayweather and show us a good fight.

Tyson might have the same way as how Mayweather fought on the last exhibition match. He won't be serious on that match as he thinks as Paul is a young boxer and there's sure money already waiting for his pocket and they just need to show that they are fighting seriously. There are also lots of restrictions in exhibition matches as organizers are taking care of those who will participate in their future exhibition match plans.

What these two boxers should do is just to give a wonderful show for people and they should do it as even the match is non-sense to others, there are still people who will watch it because it's Mike Tyson, a legendary boxer.
You are right, however once both fighters are above the ring anything can happen, Tyson is so strong that he could even KO Paul even if he does not want to, after all it is not difficult to imagine a scenario in which Paul gives a punch to Tyson that he does not like, and then because of it Tyson losses his control just for a few seconds and throws a series of punches at full power.

Taking into account Paul inexperience that could be more than enough to KO him, after all despite his age I doubt Tyson has lost much of his punching power as he still looks to be in godd shape.

Yes, he is in good shape but Logan Paul is also in good shape. What I can say is that may the best boxer wins, in that case, I think Mike Tyson is the best boxer based on his previous fights and good record in boxing career, while Logan Paul is just all about hype as he has not proven anything since there's no win in his record yet.
2216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just a quick warning to all investors on: December 23, 2021, 02:55:55 PM
Yeah, that's not new, we've experienced the bear market before and the present market situation, we know the difference and we know how to handle things in a different situations. Bull market will always end, and bear market will take over, remember it's a cycle and as an investor, things should be more easy to predict.
2217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 23, 2021, 02:20:35 PM

Even the most potential and still young Tacko Fall just become a bench player. Brad Stevens is so strict to his lineup.
I don't know if this is a mistake or not but if it is then I just want to humbly correct it.
Brad Stevens is already the president of Boston Celtics basketball operations and Ime Udoka is their head coach.  Wink

That's right, and you are not only correcting chaser15 but you also educated me. I'm a fan of NBA but lately i have not watch a full game of their games so I could not see if they still have the same coach, just watch some highlights and I did not suspect that the one that I saw is their coach already.

Since when  Ime Udoka has become their head coach?

Maybe that's the reason why Celtics are not consistent now. Sad
2218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the meme coin still worth holding on: December 23, 2021, 12:54:09 PM
I do not think the hype of meme coin is still there. Most of this meme coin will be dead when a new hype came forward except for some exceptional ones like doge and Shiba Inu. These two projects already made their name in the market and their community has grown exceptionally. I do not know what will be the price of them but I think they will survive the storm in the end.
Doge and Inu are not dead but they'll be dead soon.

If we look at the previous weeks and compared it now, we can see that their ranking are going down, that's due to the simple reason that when there's no hype, the coin will not survive, and since we are not anymore seeing a bullish market, their standings will be heavily affected compared to the altcoins that has a good usage.
2219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Delusional or not? on: December 23, 2021, 12:26:50 PM
If we are talking of licensed then that would involve government intervention? Am I right?

For me, this is going to be a legal matters if we talk about license and that's the only way to protect a certain project against scammers, and not only that, since we are talking of a smart contract getting license, what if those who like to run a crowdsale will also get their license first? That way, scammers will not exist.
2220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you see? on: December 21, 2021, 11:03:02 PM
I think crypto winter is already upon us, no matter how BTC proofs to be stronger it always goes lower since last month, it's getting more harder to retrace old ATH even while institutions are adopting the coin, I believe that massive sell off will happen soon which will unlock the door for the bears
Maybe, I was hoping that then so I can buy more coins but that is not the thing I saw now, there is a recovery that commences early next year before the bear season comes again. Might there be a big sell-off happening this December but I'd never think this could be enough to make the market turns bearish, we are actually still healthy and keeping on highs.

I may wait for the 50% corrections at least to call it bearish but for now, we are still far from it. Crossed finger...
