1361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Solana a good investment in this 2022? on: September 20, 2022, 09:48:42 PM
Some analysts predict solana will soar in 2022, will it actually happen? considering the crypto inflation.

here is my Reference:  https://priceprediction.net/en/price-prediction/solana
I don't believe in so many predictions concerning cryptocurrency, because I know that the genesis of cryptocurrency rising up and going down it's determine by the bitcoin, if the price of any altcoins should skyrocket it's for the detriment of the people who invest on it. I believe that it's the people who is projecting the project are respond of it's acceleration. Solana is a good project, and it's can be possible for it to easily have a good support.
Predictions can be wrong, always. But what makes this prediction is to help people understand what might probably happen to the project/s. Many experts just pop up and give their opinions on a certain project. Well, it was in our discretion to believe that was close to reality or just making hype as in many cases it was used to manipulate the minds of the investors. Whether it was right or wrong but I see Solana will move high in the future due to its market potential, not because of someone who does the manipulation.
1362  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you advise a focus on indicators or the market itself for a newbie. on: September 20, 2022, 01:08:59 PM
Well, I suggest newbies just focus on the price chart and make use of this for market analysis. It wasn't easy as we think and really hard if you have no interest in doing this. But since we deal with the risk upon trading, then we have to do this otherwise, failure is what we get in the end.
As a newbie, experience is really a huge contributing factor to our success. Like losing is certainly going to happen before we started to earn. And if we can't afford to lose money, I don't think trading will be the right place for us.
1363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: September 20, 2022, 12:26:41 PM
I guess he need to stay in Super Middleweight. Going to light heavyweight didn't worked well for him. He won against Sergey Kovalev three years back, but got beaten to pulp when he fought against Dmitry Bivol. And things are not easy for him in Super Middleweight as well. His win against Golovkin was not one-sided. The three judges scored the fight 116-112, 115-113 and 115-113 for Canelo, which means that it was not dominated by Canelo. If he had trouble against a 40-year old Golovkin, then how can he be competitive against guys such as Bivol?

Canelo should have started with some more or less easy fight in light heavyweight. He has started with Kovalev, that held WBO title, then Bivol with WBA. Why not start with someone without belts, but still is high ranked ? Like for example Olexander Usyk did. When Usyk advanced to heavyweight from cruiserweight, he has started Witherspoon. Usyk tested himself with real but rather old heavyweight. Only then he has got Chisora (top, but not top of the top among heavyweights) and only then he faced guys with belts. Ramirez and Buatsi were good for LH start.

Maybe because he thought he can make a shortcut, but he failed on the first attempt, but it doesn't mean that he totally failed already because he is aiming for a rematch and will try to prove himself, if he loses, then maybe we can finally say that Canelo does not deserve to challenge a champ.
1364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 20, 2022, 11:51:18 AM
I'm more excited to see the returning players and it seems like they are gonna explode once they step on the court because we haven't even seen these guys play since they got injured. Just look at this list guys, this is totally insane and you can also read more on the official site of the NBA. If the GSW can easily be a champion with these guys around, then I have to admit that they are the great NBA team of our time.

Quote
1. KAWHI LEONARD – LA CLIPPERS
2. ZION WILLIAMSON – NEW ORLEANS PELICANS
3. JAMAL MURRAY – DENVER NUGGETS
4. KENDRICK NUNN – LOS ANGELES LAKERS
5. JOHN WALL – LA CLIPPERS
6. T.J. WARREN – BROOKLYN NETS

https://www.nba.com/news/film-study-impact-players-returning-in-2022-23

Wow, LA Clippers have a huge chance to be a champion this season, as long as John Wall will be healthy and he will still perform the way he used to when he was still with the Wizards, I think LA Clippers can make it to the NBA finals. I know we have the Warriors here, but I'm now rooting for a new team that is a great contender.
1365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LUNA PUMP on: September 19, 2022, 11:44:10 PM
luna right now is quite literally become meme coin, even if there is massive increase in its value it will definitely decrease its value since luna veterans are definitely seeking for returns.
if you somehow made quite the gain then I guess it's better that you realize that gain by moving over your investments in better coins like bnb and eth since investing in luna doesn't make sense.
A meme coin or shitcoins, and whatever we call this project, it was still the same as this was already been rejected by most of the investors. It was quiet to see that Luna can't be trusted anymore, after the tragic drop of its price and it surprisingly up again, that it means there is something fishy behind the change and it was obviously another hype and manipulation. I can't afford to take risk with that kind of project.
1366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: September 19, 2022, 12:18:49 PM
Way to go Bitcointalk users. Many of you lost bets from this fight. Let us proceed to the next world title fights and make better analysis so that we can win our bets.

Most of us here love underdogs and with GGG as a very live underdog, it is understandable that many have backed the latter. If only this trilogy was held 6 months after the second fight, GGG might have won and Canelo knows that, that may be the reason why they delayed the trilogy. Though I bet for Canelo, I'm not very impressed with his performance but practically I have to put money on him because Father Time is catching up on him and I always emphasized in my previous post that this sweet science is a young men's sport.

Congrats, sweet odds mate. It was an easy win by Canelo, he controlled the fight in most of the rounds and it was very obvious that GGG has gassed out in the later rounds, he became slower and that gave Canelo a big advantage to score while he played safe.
1367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 19, 2022, 11:32:22 AM
Yes, we don't really know what the exact split are, unless it will be reveal later. But the point is that Crawford has agreed already on what should be the split in principle. Each legal representative is just going to iron out things including the rematch clause, where it mentioned that the winner will get the lion share in the rematch. So this is also one of our wish list for sure, as this could be a unification bout in the 147 lbs division in the last 10 years. And this I'm not sure, Crawford unified the 140 lbs, and if he wins against Spence, perhaps he will be the first man to do it in two different weight classes.
What was the split Crawford agreed? did he agree about getting 40% only of the total revenue? If that's true then Spence has no excuse not to get this fight into reality as despite it's an undisputed championship fight, Crawford still give him an edge on the revenue split.
1368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to LUNC after its founder is arrested?! on: September 16, 2022, 09:48:30 AM
I told you guys months ago to stay away from Luna. It’s pretty ironic that right after it pumps there is news of him getting arrested. Why didn’t they do this months ago?
Bullshit right? A huge pump few days back due to the burn tax and now a news of him issuance of warrant to arrest Do Kwon. It seems like some shady activity happening on the inside. Its not that they should have arrested him long time ago but the sequence of the events is kinda feel fishy.

Its like they cashout first due to massive pump and then dragged it down to let the price dump hard again. Really a pnd with a very bad founder.
Their questionable pump shocked some investors thinking about what really happened to this project. We can speculate that this so-called arrest is somewhat like a drama pretending into something that can't urge the Owner to bring back the money of their investors - an exit scam story, again. I wasn't surprised anyway, as in the first place I have no trust in them but am too sorry for those who put in their money and help these scammers to grow as now they realize their mistakes of choosing a non-reputable project.
1369  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading gambling in another form? on: September 16, 2022, 09:28:10 AM
Not if everything is calculated! Gamblers lack market knowledge and have a wrong mindset when it comes to trade. They look for ways to make quick money. However, on the other hand, traders have an approach and they  take many things into consideration before taking the final call.Hence, they have more chances of earning.
It is really to know that people haven't changed their minds but consider crypto trading as an easy way to make money or earn profit just like what they know about gambling - instant millionaire.
Trading requires knowledge and skill while Gambling needs knowledge, skill, and of course LUCK. And they are both risky but the chances of earning from gambling are very slim, unlike if we do trading.
Well, if they actually know the difference between the two will help them realize that they are wrong and change their market approach.
1370  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: buying low and selling high on: September 15, 2022, 01:14:47 PM
The thing is, all those "how do we know its low" and "how do we know its high" questions are a bit newbie questions that people do not really understand when they are first starting out, if they have been here for a long time then they didn't really care about trading that much. Even I know when to buy, and I am not even a good trader. If you want to buy low, you buy it when there is a crash, you see a crash when it happens, if you purchased bitcoin each time it had a %10 fall, you would have been in profit today. But many wait for it to drop even further, which makes absolutely no sense to me at all. Why wait?
Every investors want to keep buying low and selling high to make a better profit that will worth the holding or trading efforts.
The market is very much unpredictable now and those that are still traders want to make profits not minding the current situation of the market.
Since there are many coins in the market, I think we should go for what will give us better  profits since it is hard now to know whether the price we are buying is really at the bottom or at the top. We just have to keep buying for the bull run coming.
Adapting to market behavior seems to be a smart take. That is why we appreciate the importance of TA as this will help us to decide what we gonna do next. Decision-making is only effective if we are aware of the situation and market analysis, as without all of these things, we fall into wrong decisions that cause losses on our part. If we aim for earning a huge profit, then we have to work hard and be focused on the market as no way it makes it simple and of course, buying and selling high is way impossible without proper execution.
1371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 15, 2022, 04:57:40 AM

And who knows, he might stay with the Lakers for the rest of the reason. So still he needed a house around Los Angeles.

That's up to the Lakers management, Westbook can choose to stay but what if the Lakers will think of trading him? I think the news about him selling his house is just pure business, it's not connected to him leaving LA soon.
1372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else feeling let down by crypto Play to Earn gaming sector ? on: September 14, 2022, 11:13:55 PM
We just see a huge market crash in the crypto gaming industry this time as the market has been in bear condition but maybe we can still see them growing back a few years from now when the market rallies again. In fact, it was a booming sector last year and many people come to this P2E platform which it makes interesting but it slowed down after Bullrun. I'd still consider them in a parabolic situation, not a total disappearance of this sector.
1373  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto business isn't for everyone on: September 14, 2022, 10:50:26 PM
Greediness is what I think that kills some people they know when they are suppose to sell but they keep on thinking it will pump more, also they know when it will pump but they will still be thinking the coin will come down, they want to buy the bottom, we should always know when to take profit even if it’s little, you won’t keep on making lot of profit always.
Unfortunately, not all have the managing skill and strong emotions that can able to make decisions despite the volatile situation of the crypto market. Those who come without these things will often close their minds and quit. A reason why we can never see that all people love to risk their money in crypto as certainly, not all of us are willing to do so and have a wide market understanding, they still live in the doubts due to the influence of social media and others.
1374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: September 14, 2022, 11:32:15 AM
Anyone thinks that Canelo weight swing from 168 to 175 to 168 lbs might affect his performance? There are fighters who jumps from one weight to another have been affected negatively.

So what about Canelo here? will he still be the same and dominant at super middleweight because this is his favorite and perfect weight class for him. No?

But it's not a massive jump in weight and he has a lot of days to go back naturally to SMW division. It's not like the case of Roy Jones who went as high as Heavyweight and then his weight swinging around 168-175 lbs. And that was the beginning of the downfall of Roy Jones. For Canelo, it's negligible, he is still in his prime and could be walking around that weight without draining himself or changing his diet.
It will not affect him, they have trainers and nutritionists that will make sure Canelo will be healthy once he goes down in weight. It's an anticipated fight, so we don't want to hear some complaints from the camp of Canelo in case an upset is gonna happen here.
1375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 14, 2022, 10:57:04 AM

Brunson in Knicks.
How do you guys think they could maximize his skills? He did great during the last run in the Mavs playoffs. He became a leader while Luka was injured.

Big boost for the Knicks, his playoffs experience would help the team to be a good playoffs contender. He became a superstar in the Mavs during the last playoffs, so for sure, he can bring that confidence in his new team.

Quote
Could the Knicks also do the same and let him handle their offense or lead the team?
I'm not sure if he can be the main man, but with consistency, he can be a good starter.
1376  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Become A Profitable Trader with stop loss and trailing stop loss on: September 13, 2022, 10:39:53 PM
People think, stop loss must be used to avoid from the loss. But it’s not a true way of escape from the loss. When you had fix the stop loss,it will prevent from the more Loss. But when the market was back to the bull run,the order will be placed with minimum profit. Then it will skip you from gaining more profit from it.It only leads to less amount of profit from your investment using stop loss.
Perhaps, stop-loss is not designed to make a profit but as a way to save from losing more.
Fees/commissions are mostly what we struggled with in most exchanges. That is why I was still confident and I see that spot trading is more profitable than scalping. In fact, I've even tried scalping in the past and yes, we might not make losses but because of the fees, that is something that beats us.
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SWEATCOIN on: September 13, 2022, 01:15:56 PM
what did you guys see about sweatcoin hype

will this last forever?Huh
Well, the truth is that the hyped projects won't stay long and after this, a terrible dump is what you probably see in them.
If you are investing in this project, make sure that you will sell them at their peak. Don't make to miss that time otherwise, your $100 turns to $0. Many of these projects turn into scams and many people become a victim of this trick believing that they can multiply their money by how many times and neglecting to think it was a scam.
1378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 13, 2022, 11:14:34 AM
I believe Inoue can win a title in super-bantamweight. The featherweight division would likely become his limit due to his size and his age. Mid 30's athletes' bodies will change some slowly while others are quick to catch up. Inoue at over 33 years old will lose some of his quickness and strength. He may continue to become a champion like Usyk, Crawford, GGG, and Beterbiev because these people are extraordinary but that doesn't mean they didn't depreciate.

Nice explanation, he is not anymore a young boxer, so there's always a limitation once the boxer will age. Unless Inoue will continue to climb after winning a championship which is possible but unlikely to happen. He maybe a star now, but at with the same age as Pacman, Pacman has more achievements than him.

If the desire is to keep moving up and try to have more titles he can pursue and try his best in fighting with well-known fighters.

He needs to climb up and challenge every champion that he and his camps thinks that they can matchup and win, his age might affect his

movement after 2-3 years and we can't conclude that he won't get any serious injuries when fighting great fighters.

It' a matter of how he will take care of his body and how he will condition his mindsets to conquer more belts.

We cannot guarantee that once he moves up in weight, he will also be able to carry his speed. Bantamweight is the best division of Inoue now, so moving up is an experiment, and let's just hope that he will be comfortable with what he is doing so he will be successful as Pacquiao.
1379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: September 13, 2022, 10:46:02 AM
Would be funny if third fight ends with a draw. It will be obvious that boxing industry is milking fans for PPV and tickets. If Golovkin wins, Canelos primary aim will be saving his reputation or as he says "His legacy". He would need an opponent he can persuasively win. That means Golovkin should wait for a fourth fight half a year minimum. For him waiting isnt good, so he probably would have another opponent. That means they might meet for the fourth time in about 1-1.5 years. By that time GGG will retire two times Cheesy So imho there wont be a fourth fight.

It doesn't matter for me if this fight will end in a draw as long as there's a 4th fight just to determine the winner. Whatever the promoter would think, if they want more fights between the two, well, I'm sure the fans will continue to support it as they are not boring fighters.
1380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 13, 2022, 05:44:40 AM
Getting rid of Davis is not on the Laker's radar for now because as of this moment they are prioritizing Westbrook on a trade to avoid paying his high salary in fear of getting minimum production from him, they just wanted to get rid of him asap while getting a valuable player in exchange. Also, I seriously don't think that the Blazers will trade Lillard for Davis, that's just not true.

I don't think the Lakers are prioritizing on Westbrook trade. If it does, we should see them aggressively talking with other teams.

Trading Westbrook is just open and they are just waiting for good offers. If none satisfies them, then they will just keep Westbrook instead.

We know how the Lakers do business and if they want to trade players, they can easily do it even if there are issues. But since the Lakers just seem relaxed, it's optional for them if Westbrook will be traded or not.

It's safe to think that Westbrook was given another opportunity to prove himself, for a superstar like him, he should show up and reach the stats that he used to achieve in the past, and also, improvement is very important, if he has the same stats like last season, no way the Lakers will still hold him.

We cannot never be too sure though, maybe one day we will be surprised about Westbrook being traded already. If he is not having a good season, I don't think the Lakers will still finish the whole season before trading him. Westbrook IMO does not belong to the Lakers, his style does not blend with other superstars like Lebron and Davis.
