1321  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Trading Volume really matter ? on: October 10, 2022, 12:32:05 PM
Trading Volume is one thing we look for when trading, bigger volume means there is an active trade happening on that particular coin. Though it was been a huge factor, however, it was not just to rely upon it knowing that sometimes it was been manipulated. Aside from looking at its trading volume, we also have to know more about the project just to assure that it was real, and of course, the platform we used. In trading, we need to be wise enough, we don't need to hurry or else, we just lose.
1322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Haney vs Kambosos II (Undisputed) on: October 07, 2022, 02:49:41 PM

I'm a fan of Davis, and also a fan of Ryan Garcia, I think things will be different once they are in the ring, and I believe that Ryan Garcia has the advantage due to his height and reach, and take note, he is also quick.

No doubt that would be a must-watch fight and if ever Garcia wins, he is undoubtedly a great boxer if he beat Davis without any injury. Ryan Garcia should really consider fighting worthy opponents nowadays since he already fought a number of nobody boxers and with their current popularity and Davis, it will surely be a blockbuster hit and adding up with some roasting against each other before the fight, I tell you, that would be one of the high revenue fights this year.

That's the kind of break he needed, beating a real champion will silence his doubters and he will gain their respect. Garcia has to be more aggressive in choosing an opponent, fighting champions will certainly fast-track him to where he wants to go, and that is a success.

Sooner or later, he will have to fight a real champion whether in Haney or Davis.

But it seems that Ryan wanted more of Davis and he said it's because he want to get his respect. He has to earn it though, if he keeps on fighting just nobody there will be no respect. And so he need to demand GBP to match him with the champion in this division by this time. Haney and Loma is the real big name here, not Tank Davis, just saying.

I think he is now ready to fight a real champion as he already have two tune up fights where he won. Though it's a real fight but we know his opponents are not on his level, his promoter has to give him a chance to fight a better challenge, those two names that are mentioned are sure a great challenge for him.
1323  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: One way to avoid scam wallets on: October 07, 2022, 11:15:11 AM

People fall easily for scam wallets because of reviews and and ratings on Google play. Reviews on Google play does not guarantee a genuine wallets free from phishing or scam.

This is actually true; apps with more ratings frequently appear at the top due to the number of ratings and user reviews they receive. While it's true that certain applications may contain frauds, the majority of the best apps had to pass scrutiny in order to earn their place at the top. In order to avoid being a victim, you should conduct your own research and confirm that a wallet is not a scam or has previously been found to be one. As the OP stated, the forum is here to help.

When I choose any apps online, I usually check the reviews, not only the ratings. But as you have said, I was thinking that there is manipulation in numbers and paid reviews as well making no one will escape from getting fooled and a victim to scam apps or wallets if this is really the case. Good thing that this forum exists and gives some views and tips on how to choose legit wallets which is a big help, especially for newbies. Perhaps, the trick is very common but many people still got it, and that is because of fake reviews.
1324  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is happening with Crypto market on: October 07, 2022, 10:33:51 AM

But even so, we can still hope that when the market is bearish, we can still try to make a profit, even if not much. Yes, inflation is happening worldwide, but if we can act according to the circumstances and try to make the most of it, I don't think we will be affected by inflation and survive. But I don't expect hype from Elon Musk because he only thinks about himself. It is better to wait for other good news that can improve the market even a little.
Yeah, might say it was hard to earn a profit this time but if you are a skilled trader, it is not impossible. What just we need is to remain strong and have faith in our invested coins. We don't let our emotions bother us too much as this will lead the wrong way. The more we think about the situation, the more it affects our mindset, and can't even think of the right thing to do.

Well, in regards to Elon Musk, it was uncertain.
1325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit coins era is going to end on: October 07, 2022, 10:05:12 AM
I hope they will put an end but what is really happening now is that they are even growing more. I think we have no way to stop these coins, more developers to come and create another bunch of shitcoins. if you have seen 1 shitcoin per day before that has been created, you'll be somehow expecting to double its numbers now and that be more in the future. And you know why, this is because these scammers will make use of this platform to take advantage of these greedy people.
1326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 06, 2022, 12:21:39 PM

On the other hand, Bossing's import Krutwig got his first 20-18-10 triple double in this conference. I don't know for others but for me, this is the first time that I saw an import who focuses also on passing aside from shooting. Most of the time when we see imports in PBA, we often see them shooting, but Krutwig is different since he is also passing. I think with how they are playing; they might reach the playoffs again this conference.

Good import indeed, however, we cannot deny that Blackwater has really improved, they have a roster that plays like a good teammate, and they don't rely on someone that's why they are fun to watch now. In fact, even in the all Filipino cup, they are already fun to watch, it's just that they are not a championship team but they are a competitive team.

We can see that, but improvement is not enough, they should be a title contender if they want to be a champion, but if this team is just a farm team, then there's no chance there will be a consistent improvement as their big boss might just take away their best player as long as they see he is ready to play on their team.
1327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 06, 2022, 11:36:50 AM
It's true, but for me this is a good chance to see how the player chemistry is, and of course if they are going to win their new team mates. I remember last year with the Lakers line up, highly anticipated and we say that it is not that important, as the impression on them is just like half baked. But look at how the team turns out to be in the regular season, but we can argue that it was due to injuries to their franchise like AD and Lebron that really contributed to their downfall.
They may face the same situation this season. I mean, we don't know when injuries will hit them, especially for Lebron who is getting older. The Lakers should try not to expect too much from him and do what they can to also lead the team.
Austin Reaves for example, he may not be putting much in the score sheet but we can see his presence on the court.
Offensive rebounds, steals, and defense, he is everywhere and will be a pest to every offensive player that he will face.
Davis though will be a big help if healthy for the whole year.
Lebron would not be easily injured if he will not be too offensive, I mean like driving the ball to the basket. His role should be the point guard, with that, he can just find his open teammates that will create the shots for the team. Lebron is not yet injury prone, he might be older already but Davis was way more injury prone than him, so there's nothing to worry, I'm more worried about Davis.
1328  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is anyone buying right now because they think we are at or close to the bottom? on: October 05, 2022, 12:38:53 PM
Well, it is not a question if people buy because of thinking about the bottom is coming but certainly, because they are thinking that this is an opportunity. Perhaps, the idea that we have been using before "buy low and sell high" is really effective and obviously, this is what we applied.
It is people simply think that buying today will give them profit when the market is in bullish again. And it was a mindset now, especially for long-term investors and have an experience in the pass bull season.
1329  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's alright to lose and learn on: October 05, 2022, 12:18:12 PM
It is very often we commit mistakes that result in losing but never do we think this will be the reason to think of our failure. Yes, it was okay to make mistakes and losses some money because in that way we learn something from it. I'd say this is not an unusual thing to happen in crypto, especially in trading but from that experience, it helps us become more cautious and mindful of our doings for we don't want it to happen again.
We lose, we learn, and we improve...that is how we develop ourselves into a better one.

Is there a change of schedule?

SMB now is playing against Bossing, I thought they will be playing the Bay Area Dragons... Smiley
Correct me if I'm wrong, maybe I was not able to read the schedules clearly.

I don't know mate, but all I know is that Blackwater has upset the SMB in their first game. Blackwater had a huge run in the 4th quarter, Amer and Ayunayun were the heroes on that game, congrats to them, I think SMB cannot beat the Bay Area Dragons with their performance.
1331  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 2022 low again? on: October 04, 2022, 10:03:11 PM
Today the Red Again Market and have been more than a week of bitcoin prices below $ 20K, I hope the market will immediately rise so that it can profit again, another impact is of course the number of altcoins that drop significantly so that it makes us more loss.
I don't like the situation whereby if the price of Bitcoin drops some of began to understand it in different ways, actually it's quite understandable that bitcoin price always get increase or Arise whenever it experience low value, using last two days as an illustration, when it's red, it do experience positive reaction as resurrection within interval.
It is moving like a roller coaster in the first place. It moves up and down depending on the market supply and demand which really affects not only Bitcoin but also the entire crypto market. If we have a long experience in the crypto market, we no longer get surprised about the situation because that is what we usually experience. As we are experiencing bear season this year, this will surely change in the coming years. We have a so-called market cycle and that is certainly comes whether we like it or not.
1332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 04, 2022, 01:44:23 PM
Kai Sotto is still in his 20 years of age and surely he needs to build up muscles for other teams to notice him that much this he is bulkier than Golden State's Patrick Baldwin jr. and I think if he could acquire faster momentum and get used to his surrounding he can surely play like Kevin Durant in my opinion, and I think my boy Kai Sotto will surely improve so much because he still has a lot of ceiling to fit up too,

Playing like KD will be too much of an ask for the young guy. First, they play a totally different position. Second, you need to have extreme handling skills to be able to reach KD's level. They may be near in height, but KD is a totally different beast. He already improved a lot based on his recent games. He is not sluggish anymore and has better positioning under the ring. Another year of experience and we may see an NBA level of skills on Kai if he does not stop training and improving his game. The body that he needs will naturally follow if he continues to improve and mature.

Let's only think of that once Kai gets to the NBA, he was not even drafted yet, so our expectation is too much. The good thing with him is that he keeps improving, if he will become a superstar in the NBL, that's where he will get a good chance to be in the NBA.
1333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 04, 2022, 12:41:50 PM

The long wait for the fans will now happen this week as Bay Area Dragons will now face a considered top team in the league which is Brgy. Ginebra.

Their tip-off will happen on Sunday, at 6:45 PM, PH Time, and I'm expecting a huge crowd for this game.

They should have set it on Mall of Asia Arena instead of PhilSports Arena. Smiley A good game to watch live.
It's Sunday so I guess I expect more audiences to watch the game.
Now with regards to "huge crowd" thing-y, I don't think that it's the same as what we are thinking. When we watch Ginebra games, most of the times, there are a huge crowd, and the arena is almost full right? I don't expect it to happen again.

I'm not a pessimistic and I'm watching PBA as well but with the recent drama happened to PBA and these unbalanced trades, there might be some PBA fans out there who don't watch it anymore because of how the league is doing right now. Some might prefer watching other leagues. I watch the Meralco-Ginebra last Sunday and whenever I watch PBA games, I always look at the crowd and it's not the same as it was 1-2 years ago before the pandemic. Well, this is only my observation, and I will be happy if the Ginebra Fans will prove me wrong.

I guess there are only a few crowds who watch the game, also, the live streaming viewers are very small, it did not even reach 100k if I'm not mistaken. Maybe because it's not a playoffs yet, fans will be more interested in the playoffs than in the regular games.
1334  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it best to have a personal trading strategy? on: October 03, 2022, 09:51:20 PM
Just sticking to one strategy is not a good idea since it can't be perfect so you have to try other methods or strategies to find the best one. What works for one trader may not work for you, so be careful copying other trader's strategies. Instead of a personal trading strategy, I wanna call it a unique feeling of what, when, and how it will gonna happen. It can be a trend, pattern, timing, leverage, etc. After a few years in the trading world, the trader becomes more skilled with personal trading strategy/feeling market and the 10000 screen time rule proves why traders are asked for this experience. Just get that experience and make awesome bonuses on trading firms in case of you don't have enough capital to invest for life.
Making our own strategy will certainly not work instantly and a reason why we have to do trial and error is that it takes time to develop in order to work it probably but along with that, we somehow spend a lot of money in order to get tested. Maybe it was not a problem if you really have enough money to spend doing this but if you don't have, following other strategies that had worked already seems ideal. For me, I'd rather make a choice of it rather than spend a lot of time and money making our own and also don't have any assurance that it will succeed.
1335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can whitepaper still shows the weakness of a project and their team on: October 03, 2022, 12:07:11 PM
in the whitepaper, it is clear how the development of their project in the future. in the whitepaper, their vision and mission must be clear. In addition, you need to clearly see that the whitepaper follows what project, if it is a large project, it might be useful and develop in the future, but they need to differentiate with more advanced project development. however, if it's a whitepaper from a failed project, then it's best to stay away from it.
After all, Whitepaper is the thing they will do in the project. if they really don't really care about their project, then they will show weakness in the whitepaper.
Not really the thing I consider when choosing the project because there are a lot of things that we need to see. In fact, a whitepaper can be full of lies, you can't just simply think that it will be followed, not even the roadmap. This is not actually the basis to tell the weakness and strength of the project but rather rely on the output of their developments. Because it was useless to see and read such a promising whitepaper but lack of executions as it will still end nothing.
1336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: October 03, 2022, 11:59:01 AM

They can easily cancel the bet and bring all the money back to the early bettors in-case the fight got cancelled to whatever reason.

Of course, bookies can do that, putting an early lines would attract bettors, and they can even use the money of the early bets, that's in their favor too. Well, hopefully it will not be cancelled but there should be no issue betting early even if there's no announcement yet.
1337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 03, 2022, 10:33:00 AM
I wonder where is Andray Blatche now, he has contributed a lot in the past years with Gilas. The other naturalized player that the Gilas have since that player will replace Clarkson is Kouame. I think that having Brownlee in the pool is a good addition, I'm thinking about the possible chemistry and confidence that he's got since he has played with Filipino teammates ever since.

Maybe he is still playing in some international leagues, and he is also old now with the age of 35 years old. The Gilas were the better team with him, but not only because of him, it's because they have a  good coach who knows how to use the players.
1338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 30, 2022, 01:45:03 PM
Clarkson with the Lakers will be good for the team and his career too. He can be a perfect alternative when Bron and AD take their rest. He can even play in the first five to confuse the opposing team's defense. Schroder, Clarkson, Bron, and AD together in the court would be offensively deadly.

Schroder + Clarkson might be a bad idea to share the same court. One of them should serve as a backup role and not play together.

Clarkson + Westbrook is more effective since they don't share the role.

But this is just a speculation as their chemistry will just be seen once the season started.

That would work if there's a chemistry, before Clarkson get the 6th man of the year award, he was underperforming with the Cleveland Cavaliers, not because he is not good but because of the lack of chemistry, and I'm sure fans are surprised for his impressive performance with the Jazz.

Clarkson was a Lakers player before, he was good but not good enough, because of the chemistry issue and probably the design of plays does not fit him.
1339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: September 30, 2022, 01:16:32 PM
Less than 10 days before this fight but still, my favorite bookies have not put the betting odds yet on their site, will come back three days before the fight as that's the usual time they put odds on unpopular boxers.

Yes, I have noticed too that this fight is still not listed on most crypto sportsbooks. I don't know the basis but there are even unpopular boxers there that were already listed but this fight, even though this is a title fight, is still not listed yet.

You are correct there that usually, it's around 2-3 days before the fight as the usual timeframe for a fight like this to be listed on crypto bookies.

No choice but to wait then. Just for fun, what's your preview about the odds? For me, Martinez is at 1.8 while Ancajas is at 2.5.

Don't worry about the odds, for sure odds will be available days from now. Let us not be mislead by the available odds that would appear if we search in google because it's the old odds, and it was Ancajas who are the heavy favorites, this time for sure would not be the same.
1340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto's Metaverse projects are looking good now on: September 30, 2022, 10:21:30 AM
Is it not a work in progress? The graphics and design is laughable but maybe Zuckerberg will change it at the later stages? It could be a test to know the reaction of the people. But it could be intentional to make it plain and very ordinary so even old people that are not following the new trends of technology can get it. By making its metaverse simple, it is also not irritating to our eyes night or day. But we will just follow on what is next. Many of us are laughing but we do no really know the reason behind it.
I've preferred to see it simple but having an entertaining design for this will absolutely attract new users. I presume that Zuckerberg will be able to see the feedback from the community as this will help them more. I know it was still under study but somehow, it had a huge impact that needs attention as this will give away an idea of which design is more acceptable, otherwise it is never be appreciated.

But on the other side, it was at least we see metaverses are doing good for now and changing their direction to a better one. I was looking forward as well.
