2201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe in this information? on: July 08, 2021, 05:56:24 AM
until now we still can't 100% believe the regulation will run for a long time because we see Germany is one of the countries that limits the growth of crypto currency and if this regulation continues there is no change in policy then we have to appreciate and maybe other European countries will start following germany in the growth of crypto economy there

We must really be on different planets because I have seen Germany be quite good towards crypto.

Or you are saying two conflicting things here because first you say Germany limits crypto and then you say others should follow Germany in the growth of crypto economy.

By the way,,, growth of economy and allowing for investment in crypto business. Not the same things especially if all this investment is defi related which I bet you they will be. Grows only the lending economy;)
2202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many mainstream economists always oppose Bitcoin? on: July 08, 2021, 05:21:31 AM
I do not think this is really true though. I am sure a lot of mainstream economists if you put them in a room will have 10 different point of views and argue about everything a lot. And maybe Bitcoin could be one of 10 opposing views,,, this is not for BTC or against BTC, BTC is just one of many alternatives.

Even Nobel Prize winners in Economy never got their recognition right away, some waited decades before people saw their truths:)
2203  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will China's crackdown on Bitcoin cause Bitcoin to become worthless? on: July 07, 2021, 02:48:50 PM
I am not saying that the price doesn't go down, even with China news we did went low but that didn't change the fact that price is still higher than what it was last year, 3 times higher! So if there is a bull run and USA suddenly bans it then yeah the price will fall but it will not become worthless, it will become less valuable but it will still be used all around the world. Even just the third world nations of the world using it would give it some value and that is enough for me.

Exactly! And people keep forgetting that this is not the first time even that China has done something similar. Just that right now they went and discarded the actual mining industry too,,, but no problem they will pick up and move elsewhere. Digital yuan is the driver behind all of this for sure and CCP does not want competition BUT it fails to realize it cannot impact Bitcoin other than the market price,,, which is always going to recover.

^  What a waste.  That guy was a great young prospect back in the day.  Mancini saw something in him and Mancini was even acting like some sort of father figure but he was just too stubborn to appreciate all the support being given.  If he only had listened, he could be one of the greats to have ever played the sport.

His goals against Germany in the European Championship semifinals were crazy. He was really an incredible soccer player, but his character completely destroyed his career. Others get destroyed by their health, knee, ankle or whatever. That guy just got busted by his own attitude and character. Unbelievable... He should have had a psychiatrist (maybe he had...).

It was not even just Mancini,,, if I recall correctly Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool even tried to take him. It was weird to see naughty boys end up at Liverpool at one point like Luis Suarez as well,,, but I guess it did not work for him even if it worked for Suarez.

And now he has another second chance, after many second chances. I still feel he was a good guy deep inside, let us hope for a late revival?
2205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: July 07, 2021, 01:07:49 PM
Not looking good for all those specials you guys mentioned today. Good thing I was super busy at work and did not have time to take any of them. I was online a couple of times but the specials that were live at that moment were not that interesting for me. I like them when I feel it is slam dunk or when we have really big odds.

I avoided everything for EURO because I expected this leg to be as tight as it turned out,,, and the same for Copa specials (not that I saw any when I was online). I think the final will be even worse, UNLESS Denmark somehow make it to meet Italy, then we can all bet on many goals and even Extra time drama.
2206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 07, 2021, 12:05:18 PM
Ok Medvedev and I really don't the other guy Federer will now play against. As for my other question when Federer can meet Djokovic, they would only face in the finals. In my honest opinion, I would be so happy to see the two playing against each other in the finals. The last final they played in Wimbledon was unbelievably epic. Almost 5 hours with that devastating tie break in the 5th for Roger who failed to use one of his two match balls. Wink

Do not know much about him either but if he took Medvedev to full stretch he should at least be able to take 1 set away from Federer, who must be quite tired by now right?

This would be a dream final for sure. Either to spell the real end for Roger, or to delay the rise of Novak.

I hope for this to happen:)
2207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: July 07, 2021, 10:58:20 AM
A lot of people still can't understand how much world depends on internet right now. People at my job thinks BTC is just a scam and big bubble. Even young folks don't trust in BTC and I'm not trying to convince them because i don't wanna look like obsessed.

Communications and shopping and commerce depends on internet but I think a lot of people also overestimate how much we really need the internet. Our parents did fine without it,,, in fact had better and richer lives. The same for 1 billion people in the world who do not have internet.

Good not to convince people,,, there is not much to convince right now I would say even more so for BTC (right now). I love the currency and want it to succeed but I think we are not realistic if we say it is going to save the world and change our lives.
2208  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Manipulation Logic? on: July 07, 2021, 10:19:10 AM
right, with this manipulation, many people will benefit, although there are also many people who cry, but that is the world of trading. when a bullrun occurs, there will be many new investors who are interested, on the other hand the old investors partially benefit from the incident and they make big profits. so I think this is what becomes interesting in the crypto world

As I said before above,,, it is not manipulation from whales as we think they are, but from exchanges mainly who have large amounts of crypto thanks to people who deposit there and leave it there. Name that is us and speculators who just deposit and leave crypto in exchange wallets.

So if they cry,,, they should realize they are partly to blame for making this manipulation possible:)
2209  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC fall below $30,000? The high-yield risk opportunities are in MEME? on: July 07, 2021, 08:35:32 AM
But I dont think BTC will go down below $30k it will possibly but it will be real quick and bounce back to previous resistance really fast if this happens, meme coins fore sure will follow bitcoin price once it drop below 30k, why are you thinking that meme coins price will go up once btc drops below 30k? If you are unsure what will happen to market once btc drops to avoid risk better exchange to stable coin for a moment and wait for right time.

What we think and what we feel has nothing to do with what will actually happen. To be honest last time when we went to almost 20k I thought for sure 5k would be the bottom and even that I thought was next to impossible. But guess what,,, not so much longer than 15 months ago,,, we saw BTC drop to almost 3k. Who knows if it went down below 2k what price it could have broken as a floor?
2210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: July 07, 2021, 08:03:08 AM
It was a really good game yesterday night.Spain played better during the 90 minutes and the additional time, they created more during the 90 minutes of play but were not able to score more than once by losing many occasions.Italy was more pragmatic and the game was decided by penalties and as we know penalties are pure luck,it can go either way.

Tonight I think England will have an easy game against Denmark and then we are going to see a good final between Italy vs England.

Just looked at the highlights and you are right,,, other than the final goal from Morata, everything seemed to be going to lucky for Italy as they should have been down at least one or two goals if the finishing from Spain was better. Although also credit to Chiesa his goal was so well taken, no chance to save it from anyone.

Denmark go Vikings:)

Ok, so you guys start off so nice with a nice antideluvian continent and mythology etc but then nothing else is reflected in this storyline:)

I hate defi and I think most of it are nonsense,,, but I love a good story and I really liked some concepts out there,,, the cake and syrup lines of BSC's Pancakeswap are getting interesting.

2213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gov must have power to reverse transactions, says co-chair of blockchain caucus on: July 07, 2021, 06:07:46 AM
Can you post what your definition of a blockchain is? Because you and I might have a different understanding of what a working “blockchain” is. I believe some people view it as “something secure/decentralized”, but has stopped there, and hasn’t understood how/why it is decentralized.

I am 100% sure we both understand it differently. I am the definition of the masses. We do not have a good education. We only improved English online in past few years, in fact, I learnt a lot from this forum and just reading other people's thoughts. I still have trouble understanding Bitcoin whitepaper,,, so for sure, I am not the guy who understands fully how/why blockchain is decentralized.

But I always speak from practical side of things,,, because I only know what I know from practice:) I never saw blockchain as decentralized by the way, I saw Bitcoin as. 99% of blockchain projects out there, can claim secure/decentralized but even a small user like me knows these are only claims.

Thanks o_e_l_e_o for all that discussion. You are right about Lightning,,, I hope it happens faster than I feel.
2214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Multi-Chain Lend is a non-custodial lending protocol on BSC with flash loans on: July 07, 2021, 04:53:08 AM
Secure I do not know but unique,,, maybe.

But correct me if I am wrong guys but are flash loans just a way to try and make quick money like gambling/trading? I mean you borrow and pay back almost within minutes right? Which is how defi people got famous last year flash loaning and draining all the assets of the lenders?

Can OP explain:)
2215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe in this information? on: July 07, 2021, 04:14:31 AM
It is old news shared already by someone even last week. It is not about believing it or not,,, it is already fact and law. This is just an update to say now the implementation period is already upon us.

Whether or not firms will really do it is also a certainty,,, what is uncertain is how many firms and how much.
2216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: July 06, 2021, 03:00:22 PM
Today we have the first game of the semifinals:

Italy vs Spain
This is perhaps the most anticipated game of this phase.
I believe it will be a very balanced game with few goals. I see Italy with more capacity to win, phase to the performance of Spain. But of course Spain have great players who can really make a difference. If the game goes to extra time, I wouldn't be surprised.

I do not know about that. England fans are so hungry most of them were not even born the last time they won a cup so they will want to give everything to get into the final to meet another giant. They already won against Germany (but it was not a favorite) so they are confident.

Italy looks like the one to go through though but you are right I think this has extra time all over it.
2217  Economy / Speculation / Re: The market is full of opportunities to come on: July 06, 2021, 01:41:10 PM
I still think that a rebound will happen to the market, but we are hard to predict when that will happen. The bitcoin price is down again this day, and it is back to the $34k level, which can lead to the other lower price. But if there a good news release, it can impact the price to go to the high price. This month is still not easy to predict where the bitcoin price will move, but we hope that this month will be better than before.

If you can use the market, you will have a chance to make a profit. Otherwise, you can just wait for that rebound so you can sell your bitcoin at the next high price.

It is possibly happening right now actually. I mean,,, every time I see Bitcoin hit support and go back up, I feel like it is another moment that the bulls could decide, okay this is it, we are ready to buy more. And then when one or two or three big buys trigger, it leads everyone else waiting to also lock in their buys. Plus,,, this is second half of 2021 now so a lot of companies will already be executing new budgets:)
2218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 06, 2021, 01:00:47 PM
Once upon a time, there was a talented young player. He had a great history with Italy national team. Balotelli is about to sign with Adana Demirspor, who was promoted to the Turkish Super League this year after doing everything he could to ruin his career. Apart from Balotelli, Demirspor also added former Marseille and Galatasaray football player Y. Belhanda to its squad.

When asked about Demirspor club official Balotelli's undisciplined actions, he gave surprising answers. “We are crazy people too, we know how to handle Balotelli,” he said.

Wow is this guy even still playing? Talented young player,,, and does anybody still remember his famous celebration at EUROs? Until today it is often spoken about as top 5 memories from EURO. Such a pity that his talent became overclouded by all his actions and antics off the field. But who knows,,, a crazy guy needs a crazy club;)
2219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: July 06, 2021, 11:47:58 AM
EURO has been SO good to us all:) But I only made one special that hit (4.5 goals) but it was a big one for me!

Yeah I think most of us won a fairly decent amount from all specials combined, on top of this most of the specials are guaranteed with moneyback so yeah Euro special from sportsbet was quite generous. Didnt you take the 120 goals special? iirc this was the special with the highest odds out of all special, even with only 1 mbtc bet that would be 20 fold.

As I said I sadly only made that one special that hit. Others returned money back so I won in total after all,,, which makes me happy of course. Sportsbet really made it nice for us, and that keeps giving us back, so I will never find anything to complain about it.

20x seemed too nice yes, but I looked at stats and saw the goal average was too high. I did not expect soooo many goals:)
2220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I owe Michael Saylor an Apology.. on: July 06, 2021, 09:05:04 AM
This is why sometimes this forum is scary for someone like me,,, or even someone like majority of people who come to use it. We have our opinions about Bitcoin and crypto, and a lot of it in the looking glass that we view the world with. But if you say one or two things that is not so accurate according to someone,,, they can come and eat you and destroy you for it:)

Interesting though I saw Michael interview on a financial channel and he did not use these terms you mention but he explained it in quite good terms I thought was useful to look at from a business perspective (loss of value of keeping in fiat versus BTC).
