When you die, your soul is released from your body. From there, it's whatever you believe, if you believe you can exist as a conscious observer on earth, you will. My mom has also had an out of body experience where she was moving around her house as a conscious soul. Bitcoin ist in der Tat eher wie ein Asset, eine Aktie, ein Anteil (an einem offenen, weltweiten Werttransfersystem) als eine Währung, und verhält sich daher auch so.

Teile und herrsche.  Jo wenn's die Leute nich kapieren, was kann man machen. Bitcoin ist doch keine Konkurrenz, die können doch selber diversifizieren, oder halt auch nicht. Klor vielleicht würds uns hier vielleicht auch nerven wenn einer ständig Litecoin oder was promoten würde, wenn man da selber keine Aktien drin hat und auch nicht versteht, warum das besser sein soll. Aber trotzdem alles kein Grund für solche Angriffe. Leider wollen sie zudem nicht sehen, dass selbst Gold und Silber irgendwann mal überbewertet sind, wenn zu viele reingehn. Spätestens nach dem Kollaps, wenn's wieder bessere Anlagemöglichkeiten gibt, kommt dann der massive Sell-off. |

I'm not saying there aren't going to be more user-friendly applications someday, but as of now it's just way too confusing. It's even confusing to me and I've spent all day reading about Bitcoin and have slightly higher computer knowledge than most people.

I've been literally reading ALL DAY and I can't wrap my stupid head around Multi-Bit and how it works. Can someone PLEASE break down these following questions for me?
1. What the heck is a difference between a wallet and a private key in Multi-bit? Is the wallet essentially an unlocked version of the key? (since everytime I start up Multi-bit the wallet just opens)
2. I heard the private key is a code which essentially can get you access to your bitcoins...your bitcoins are stored in that code, right? How do I find that code in the event that the "Wallet.key" file is corrupted? Then, in the case that that .key file is corrupted, what do I do with that long code to get back access to my coins?
Thank you for taking the time to read, and believe me I really have put effort into understanding.

ach jo, immer diese Zins- und Zinseszins- und Exponentielleswachstumskritiker und so. Das ist ein roter Hering und führt an der Essenz der Problematik vorbei.
"Leitzins" trifft's eher, das Problem ist in der Tat die zentralisierte fiskalische Planwirtschaft, die wir haben.
Der Kern ist, dass es den Zins, so wie er landläufig verstanden wird, als irgendwie magisch sich vermehrendes Geld auf Omas Sparbuch, gar nicht geben dürfte und eigentlich auch gar nicht gibt. Wenn irgendwie suggeriert wird, dass Wert aus dem Nichts einfach so ohne Risiko entstehen kann, dann werden die wirklichen Zusammenhänge verschleiert. Heute ist es so, dass der Sparchbuchzins ja sowieso mit der Inflation gar nicht mithalten kann.
Aber zunächst mal zum Zins: du wirst nicht verhindern können, dass ich "Leihgebühren" haben will, wenn ich mein Geld verleihe. Zu welchem Anreiz sollte ich denn das ansonsten auch tun? Schon alleine als Absicherung und Ausgleich gegen Zahlungsausfälle von anderen Kreditnehmern.
Der Kreditnehmer muss diese Gebühren erwirtschaften. Das heißt, die Zinsen müssen eigentlich immer mit dem erwirtschafteten Gewinn, mit den Dividenden seines Unternehmens gedeckt sein.
Wenn er Verluste macht, wird sich das auch in meiner Bilanz widerspiegeln.
Das bedeutet, dass ein Zinsertrag unterm Strich auch negativ sein kann. Alles gleicht sich irgendwann ja mal aus.
Und zum Zinseszins: Wie ist es denn, wenn ich eine Aktie habe, und ich reinvestiere die Dividenden in dieselbe Aktie? Na dann steigt deren Kurs. Irgendwann ist sie dann einfach überbewertet.
Und wenn ich eine Bank bin, und die Leute lassen ihre Zinsen auf dem Sparbuch, und heben lange Zeit nix mehr ab? Na wenn ich nicht pleite gehen will, dann muss ich halt die Zinsrate, die ich an die Sparer weitergebe, senken. Oder die Zinsrate für die Kreditnehmer erhöhen.
Aber wenn da natürlich eine Zentralbank ist, die einen Leitzins vorgibt, und die Banken da wenig Handlungsspielraum haben, außerdem man fiskalpolitisch meint, leichte konstante Inflation wäre gut (befohlenes Wirtschaftswachstum!), und man als Ausgleich dafür Zinsen auf Omas Sparbuch verspricht (geradliniger Graph gegen exponentiellen Graph!), dann ist das doch wie Flöhe hüten und es ist sonnenklar, dass das auf Dauer nur zum Kollaps führen kann.
