2221  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Crypto live forever or die? on: November 23, 2020, 11:37:10 AM
This is purely a personal question.
If people use it , it will stay forever , in the other case it would just decrease in price and stay in the market as some old token. (( We remember tulips don't we ))
The good thing is the crypto is entirely dependent on people and therefore one way or the other if they continue to support the cryptocurrencies , they will see a much better future and will be able to own a purely decentralized currency which innumerous benefits.
Right now as I see , the governments instead of banning cryptocurrencies are more settled on actually regulating them , which is a great thing for us. In many countries cryptocurrencies are protected by the laws and therefore the negative usage of cryptocurrencies have decreased locally.
It's not only the people but also governmental bodies which are seeing the benefits of cryptocurrencies , the casinos and gambling sites are earning them revenues even during the COVID , what else can one ask for ?
2222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China mining machinery investment on: November 23, 2020, 11:02:05 AM
I personally did not have the opportunity to check out the mining machines but a known friend of mine was purchasing one from China since they were giving the machines at a far lower price as compared to other countries. He was getting one for around 2000$. But China's market of Bitcoins is actually very fragile. The government have now and again given signals that they hate the Bitcoins.
Rest the people I know were for sure going to buy machine from China therefore I do believe that they have a good audience, but then again as for me I am not going to invest in Chinese machinery since their products are cheap for sure but at the same time these products are not very good for the long term and the only way you getting a mining machine is going to work is when you , in the long term earn more than what you spent. Therefore as for me personally I would go for other options.
With amazon now giving opportunity for buyers to buy mining machines I do believe it would be a much better option for us.
2223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC wants to regulate ICO's on: November 23, 2020, 10:26:55 AM
According to the news SEC Chairman Jay Clayton talks about the techno and then ways where they can improve and control the ICO's etc... But the thing is this has been happening already. We have seen such things since ICO's came into existence.
For people who are not aware of what SEC is : it's US security and exchange commission. Now the thing that US already wants to regulate cryptocurrencies is not bad. Regulation is fair since many ICO's have created problems for the people , some of them have been frauds and thus , the people will have more security this way and the government will be able to be more open towards cryptocurrencies. The government will also be liable to protect the cryptocurrencies and these ICO's under the law.
**Regulation is good as long as it's fair regulation.**

Quote
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), has proposed a new set of rules that will regulate Crypto-token or Crypto-coin investments when the character of the investments qualifies as securities transactions. The position of the Commission is that virtual crypto assets are securities unless proven otherwise.

2224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery Gambling on: November 23, 2020, 08:23:59 AM
Hello
I do believe that you have to locally check with your casinos if they do allow since during the pandemic most of the casinos have shifted online. Therefore it's very possible that you will get such options.
-many casinos are offering the lottery check your local casinos
-roam around in supermarket and ask for them
-there are even local shops near my house selling such things.
But you should understand that these are not the best way to win, you are more likely to be hit by lightning.. statically. Try other Gambling variants , they might be much better.
2225  Economy / Speculation / Re: who believes that the price of BTC high next month? on: November 23, 2020, 07:24:52 AM
See , the next month is the holiday season and therefore people will encash out which would mean that the demand will be less. We would see a little decrease in the price according to me.

There has been a slight graph where the price hikes up around october-november and in December it goes a little down. Whereas in January it starts assembling the pieces.

But at the same time this is what I believe. The price is something unpredictable therefore we cannot put a tag on it. It might go up or it might not, no one can tell you anything and be sure of it. Therefore don't think much , if the price is low : it's an excellent buying opportunity, if the price is high you can get profit by holding/trading.
2226  Economy / Economics / Re: What will be the effect of US regulation to crypto all over the world? on: November 22, 2020, 04:46:19 PM
Hard fact  *Nothing*
If they are regulating it , that means more people will be able to use it more without any further ado. For most people who rely on governmental system, they tend to believe that whatever the government might approve will actually be good for them. Therefore we might be able to get more investors.
With the regulations , it would mean that the Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies will be protected by the law , which is more + point for us. As long as the regulations are not unnecessary and excessive we are good to go.

America is not influential , America *was* influential , we have all seen the economy shatter and the political unrest. Right now I just hope they set a better example for everyone alike.

I would like to believe that , the regulations will bring more of a positive response from the public, since the government clearly doesn't want to ban Bitcoins there.
2227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Divisible by 1 billion on: November 22, 2020, 03:36:36 PM
So btc ain't gonna run out.

The new smaller unit , to be called 'Roger'.

If you get paid in 'roger', you're being rogered.

Do you have any url supporting your argument ?? Plus why would someone name the smaller unit in *Roger*?? Plus no one who gets paid this small would even take the job. You have to understand the fact that this won't happen overnight , we are not even using the unit : Satoshi yet , it's there but it's not that practical. Thus we have to first encompass the point where we can use *Satoshi* practically and then think about this new unit you believe is going to come. By the way I believe we might have much more efficiency if we name the unit differently.

We can very easily use the units already in the use instead of giving them different names .

(Taken from google)

Things like micro-btc etc.. would be more logical.
2228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CASINO AFFILIATES on: November 22, 2020, 02:35:41 PM
According to the site :
Quote
All www.w777.org products are operated by A&H Kingdom B.V. registered address, Fransche Bloemweg 4, Willemstad, Curacao. A company licensed and regulated by the law of Curacao under the Curacao EGaming with license number 1668/JAZ

Apparently the site is super simple but I won't take my chances and use it without having a good review from someone who already tried it.

Plus the thing that they don't accept cryptocurrencies is kind of a negative point for me.

The site though takes a lot of time to load as compared to normal ones.

If someone does try it they can for sure use this to leave a review here and at the same time you have to understand that , it's now how you promote a site.

The site needs to have a proper promotion and then maybe you have to take into account that people won't try the site before there are other good reviews from trusted members.
2229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why has no-one done a crypto Ebay? on: November 22, 2020, 01:34:58 PM
I do believe that OP wants to say ::::::
There are actually sites which are offering the same services but none of them are on :
Such a big scale
Well known
Frequently being used by people
Competition for ebay.
..

Now this can just be a failure of initiative or maybe the owners have not yet found a way to advertise it rightly.

I do believe that , all these sites can collaborate together and then have a better chance at being known.

,,,,,,

That aside I do believe for now we have to encash them if we do want to buy something since this way there are more local options and at the same time you can very easily skip the excess fee.
2230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: November 22, 2020, 11:59:33 AM
Long before when I was a kid I used to believe that WWE is real 🤣 now we all know the reality. When we talk about NBA , there for sure have been accusations but at the same time I do believe that not all matches are rigged and therefore game fixing only works when the players and the team alike decides to actually go through with it and it's a long and hard Task.

Therefore there is a possibility BUT not all matches are for sure fixed.

As long as it's a central body and there is option of winning millions there will for sure be a way where people will try and find loopholes and use them for their advantage.

-match fixing only works when the players and the teams agree which is a long task and statically possibility is very less.
2231  Economy / Economics / Re: Is MMT only way forward. on: November 22, 2020, 11:00:27 AM
The reason why not every country is using this system is because :::::: it's over generalized and therefore it does not suit the requirement of every country out there , that is certainly right that it might be good for many countries and it does hold a lot of sense but at the same time the individual situation of every country is different and therefore I do believe that we do need new system , made specifically for the situation of the country in need.

There are countries where the government doesn't even have enough power to spend so much so that every single person can get medical care.

How would they solve the excessive public debt ??
How would they control the inflation in a time like pandemic where it's excessive amount of medical care needed but not enough funds with the government.

I do believe that the policy is quite flawed and to be honest we should not even be using a generalized policy for all.
2232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the heck is a private key...exactly? Someone help please. on: November 22, 2020, 10:07:17 AM
A private key is like a 24 word ownership document.  If you accidentally loose access to your wallet then you can very easily use that ownership to get your Bitcoins back.

It's a super important part of having the Bitcoins in wallets , so that is why you often see the phrase *not your keys, not your coins*. So if you are using a wallet which doesn't give you access to your Private Key that does mean that the real ownership of the Bitcoins is actually with the wallet company and not with you.

Every wallet has a different private key, it is super important to know what's yours, Never share it with anyone !!!!!
2233  Economy / Economics / Re: Here is why btc will die as a crypto on: November 22, 2020, 09:42:02 AM
Everyone using Bitcoins is very well aware of the fact that these transactions do take time and therefore whenever we are doing them we usually prefer to take that into account

At the same time mempool have been quite busy now a days because the price is rising and the trade volume is also, therefore it is now actually taking quite a while for the transactions which are normally supposed to happen fast.

So there are quite a few things you can do:
First change that trading platform
Use other methods
Use a platform where you can increase the fee if the transaction is congested
Use good local wallets

Even if it die as a crypto , it would be quite beneficial for us since HODL will never be old.
2234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake or nitrogen my point of view on: November 22, 2020, 08:47:04 AM
I do believe that this would actually be very beneficial for the casinos if they do see it positively if nitrogen improves their negatives they would eventually be favoured in the long run.

Nitrogen is a actually good and trusted and I do know many people who won't leave it even with the negative experience, they have to understand that people trust them a lot and they have to improve it.

Stake on the other hand is more private and instant deposits and withdrawal is something that I personally find very important.

*_*_*_*

This post have actually prompted reviews from the users I do think the casinos should go through it.
2235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how add security to our bitcoin ? on: November 21, 2020, 04:18:46 PM
Hello,

i don't know bitcoin very well but i have money in btc on coinbase. I am not sure have money on coinbase is very secure. What do you think about it ? Is there a way for have bitcoin with security because i scared coinbase block my account or give information on how much money i have on it, i think it is not very anonymous

I do believe that you already got a lot of good replies but at the same time I do believe that you have to actually consider taking care of the personal security too, which usually includes the mobile and cyber security. If your mobile is bugged you won't be able to do anything about it. Yes the coinbase is a good platform and I do believe that you can move to other amazing wallets too , but for the while you have to be aware of the fact that :

You have to refrain from weird sites or download any content from the internet

Use only trusted sources

Make sure and don't tell anyone about your wallet or keys
Etc..

Personal security is as important as choosing any wallet therefore be careful about it too.
2236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be used instead of paper money on: November 21, 2020, 03:43:46 PM
No matter how much I like Bitcoins , it cannot be used instead of paper money.

It's Volatile
It does need internet
We need to solve the transaction fee problem
There is still updates needed in lightning network
Bitcoins is not acceptable everywhere in the world
Many banks are not in favour of Bitcoins and thus they usually ban the accounts if they are being used
Bitcoin will need fiat for sure
We have people living without electricity and mobile phones what about them ?
What about old people and super young kids ? How will they be able to buy anything ??
2237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life, gambling and trials. on: November 21, 2020, 02:48:01 PM
Well , for me :
If I used "x" amount , i won "y" then; considering that x<y , I would keep x in the wallet and definitely waste y-x , to buy things for the house, for family, unnecessary things sometimes just for decor. I would consider myself extremely lucky but for sure I am not one of those people who can keep "y" and forget about it.

I might even keep playing till I loose all 🤣, because it's like a lottery, lucky money 💰.

It's not just you, but at the same time I do believe we have to learn to keep the extra winnings in our wallets and use responsibly.
2238  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to day trade bitcoin and altcoins? on: November 21, 2020, 12:47:06 PM
Due to its volatility, wouldn’t it be very difficult to day trade cryptos? Or is it best to just dollar cost average?

Hello

I would like to share my opinion on how it would be different for everyday. The price changes everyday but that too sometimes we are quite stable and sometimes it's very volatile and therefore it would depend on the market.
So a good trader would be well informed and would at the same time keep checking everything. It is more or less more profitable to trade cryptocurrencies. It's more Volatile and the dollar is not something that is even close to being Volatile right now.

I would suggest you to put alerts on your wallet and trading platform this way you will be well informed.

Plus right now ETH and BTC both are having quite a rally therefore go for it. But be careful.
2239  Economy / Economics / Re: Indian Bank to be acquired by DBS on: November 19, 2020, 07:53:09 PM
Okay I will just say one thing:

If this is happening it might be positive too, I have been using DBS since 6-7 years now, it's a go to bank for me, the thing is , they are really comfortable with cryptocurrencies and their trading whereas the last time I tried doing it through SBI, my account was actually halted for a while.

If DBS is engaging , they might extend the benefits and crypto friendly ideas that way too. Plus this regulation regarding cash withdrawal is actually everywhere, even banks like DCB niyo, they gave started charging 5% extra on every swipe of the card, you will get your money back but after a while , this is a completely ridiculous term.

Plus for Indian born people living abroad , DBS is amazingly smooth and beneficial.

Lakshmi Vilas bank might actually get a better exposure when they collaborate.
2240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbooks often offer different odds for the same type of bet on: November 16, 2020, 06:52:08 PM
This is actually good for the first time I had an idea about a double chance bet , I actually don't engage in sport betting too much but for the starters I did search about the double chance bet.

For example you have 3 outcomes , this allows you to take a chance for 2 sides in just one bet. I do believe that it's actually a good idea , for a person like me it would mean the chances of me loosing are literally reduced and at the same time it's being used now a days .

Thank you for sharing this topic , I leaned something new today regarding the sports betting.

I would try and find sites offering double chance betting.
