2222  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: adls3 SCAMMED ME on: March 13, 2020, 11:56:40 PM

I know I was dumb not using an escrow but I saw is account on shoppy with 12 positive feedback and I tought mehh it will be fine.
Sorry for the loss, but yeah, your funds are totally lost. Just take this as a lesson and move on. Don't you ever make a transaction to any random user here or to a newbie seller with a lock and a self-moderated thread, especially without escrow.

Despite Bitcoin Price Dips, Crypto Is a Safe Haven in the Middle East

Although it’s difficult to quantify demand for bitcoin (BTC) in informal markets across the Middle East, small-scale traders from Lebanon to Yemen say interest in bitcoin as a safe-haven asset, not a speculative asset, is stronger than ever.

2224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi transferred BTC in 2017 ? on: March 13, 2020, 06:01:00 PM
Yeah seems strange, but no one knows if these addresses are compromised or someone in 2010 (probably miners) did still have the private keys of these addresses
2225  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Patulong naman dito guys. on: March 13, 2020, 05:30:00 PM
Never tried at kakarinig/discover ko lang din ng mga website na yan, but sure ako mas professional yung webite ng xm at mas matagal na sila sa industry kesa sa riotrades na amature yung gumawa ng website and kakagawa lang ng website nila this 2018.

XM has verified account sa fb, insta and twitter so sure ako na real business ito while yung isa naman is talagang hyip lang and yeah some of the content nila is plagiarised

riotrades  - http://archive.is/B7fAF
paycryptrex - http://archive.is/WexSc#selection-1171.0-1171.573

Though wala akong experience on how xm do their business since di naman natin maipagkakaila na even established business is may mga mga user issues din, minsan may selected scamming, manipualations or etc. So better take your own risk pag ganyan and DYOR nalang din.
2226  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Who else was scammed by ALGO? on: March 13, 2020, 12:29:51 AM
The bounty hunter is the accountable for this, its all his job to the task and yeah even the bounty thread is nowhere to find.

And why there's no existing scam accusation against them?
2227  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Toilet paper hoarding on: March 12, 2020, 10:25:17 PM
I suggest a 50 kg bag of rice and a big bag of charcoal so that well water or ditch water can be consumed with some modicum of safety.  I would expect power, water, and internet to go down in most cities.  Cell phone too perhaps.  I would also expect most of the local security in gated communities to disappear.  Maybe they'll show up again to guide the first enterprising looters to the most promising houses.  Hopefully in the gated communities enough people have enough firearms to form their own effective security details.

But shutting down of electricity, water and/or internet is far I could imagine but yeah much better if prepared.

I live in a gated subdivision where there is tight security from people entering, considering they have families to go home and to stay with, for sure the gate will leave wide open at least for few days.

Anyways, instead of TP, people here hoard alcohol instead.
2228  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Toilet paper hoarding on: March 12, 2020, 09:24:03 AM
Can't relate that much since here in PH locals don't seem to use TP, especially in provinces-side or even in urban, it just...
It actually makes a lot more sense in practice to wash one's butthole than to smear shit all over with toilet paper
Well, yeah.

Just prepared canned goods, stocks, good for at least 3 weeks.

2230  Economy / Reputation / Re: Merit Abuse on: March 11, 2020, 01:31:56 PM
It's not just posting links, it's giving facts with the source of the news/article/thread.

Now you're telling some users do make great posts but without merit? Can you link them here instead?
If it's really a quality post, not just copied from other sources, or translated to their local then there's no way it will not be merited.

2231  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Payment processing for online businesses (1% commission) on: March 09, 2020, 11:22:31 PM
There are still broken links on your wenbsite

Btw, where and how you get these transactions, payments and experience if your service was just created on first month of the year.

2233  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: March 08, 2020, 11:59:32 PM
Yup, yan talaga dapat, like my email used sa coins at binance are different, at even dito sa forum is iba din. Even sa mga bounties dati na sinalihan ko na need ng registration pati faucets/cloud mining dati lol. That's for security reasons, madali mong malalaman if may na receive sa email mo na suspicious or phishing links, if anung website na breach data mo or what. Basta pag ang email mo sa mga cloud mining and faucets, other crypto websites expect na mas madami ka pang ma rereceive na spam message, threat email na hack daw email mo kaya need mo mag send ng funds like BTC.
2234  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to store bitcoins in your phone (Not using Coinbase or anything similar) on: March 08, 2020, 11:28:43 PM
Not to mention, the new blockstream green wallet, recommended rather than using the greenaddress wallet.

For some reason I won't recommend using Jaxx, the fact it face security issues which leads to funds lost with hundreds of bucks.
2235  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex disabled account - Can't withdraw - Refuse to accept my ID - Help on: March 08, 2020, 11:05:15 PM
If they refuse to accept valid IDs what can I do?
Then try to keep things easy, just go to some of your countries' dept so you can apply another ID.

I don't have  a car so I don't need a driver's license.
Is it really necessary to have a car so you can apply a drivers license? How about a motorbike or motorcycle?

If you really need to get the money, you need to follow everything they required even it cost you or even it takes time.

Exchanges are really sh*t, they are more strict and needs lot of requirements than banks.
2236  Other / Meta / Re: Is satoshi that satoshi? on: March 08, 2020, 10:48:16 PM
We can say that it is the first post I mean the first real post. If we include the post that is used to test the forum then thw post made by satoshi nakamoto is not the first one but when it comes to serious discussion then that post is the first one. This is the very first account created on bitcointalk forum with a 7 posts called admin. Many people didn't consider one of the 7 posts as the very first post as the 7 posts are just for testing if the forum work and runs perfectly.
Ah, you don't need to complicate every things and argue what's there and what's not, in every website there's always a test. A public release/post will be always considered as the actual, not the hidden one. People don't talk about the deleted/hidden post/threads because probably it's unnecessary for public that's why its hidden/trashed.
2237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not an article about Bitcoin: "I accidentally sent £1,000 to the wrong account" on: March 08, 2020, 10:39:36 PM
Well, that's one of the problems in sending money were mostly prone to human errors whether its a local remittance, digital wallets, bitcoin/crypto even in paypal, once you input a wrong info and tap the send button it cannot be undone. There's always a warning message where something is written to double check the details before you send the money because it cannot be undone.
2238  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bakit ang KYC ay lubhang nakakatakot at walang silbi (hindi maaasahan) on: March 08, 2020, 10:16:46 PM
Not to encourage everyone, pero sa akin, sa kyc related issue ay ibang id ginagamit ko, I mean edited from my original id, I change my address at name dun since may alam ako sa photoshop. Why?
2239  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What is important for you when buying things online with bitcoin? on: March 08, 2020, 05:47:04 PM
I do not make any orders using Bitcoin, if I'm not sure about the reliability of the service.
Well, that's where everything comes, people would not use any platform/service no matter how great the product is if the site itself is cannot untrustworthy.
2240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China will bring up the Blockchain Engineering Bachelor. on: March 08, 2020, 05:06:56 PM
This just means that china is serious and really interested in the blockchain technology and want to apply to its people. This is a bold move, after all, china always leads when it comes to technology, it only matters of how it will be used by their government.
