1321  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase account temporary Disabled on: November 14, 2020, 05:34:32 PM
I have received to automated reply from them. The second and important email is as mentioned message:

[...]
So, I think I lost all of my fund which was on there.

Is there anyone who can help me or solved issue like this. Feeling frustrated.
Btw did you receive a warning message from CB before they disabled your account the same as this user on reddit? I wonder if they just disabled your account without giving warning, though that user experienced 3 years ago, maybe they just change their attitude regarding those users who violate their TOS.

I'm afraid that there's no one here who can solve that issue besides CB, you should wait for their response regarding this issue, and hoping they will let you withdraw your remaining funds there.
1322  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase account temporary Disabled on: November 14, 2020, 05:00:52 PM
I do not know either I have violated any rules or not. For transferring fund to any gambling site can be a reason for temporary disable of my coinbase account?? I do not think they disable account for sending fund to gambling site. Are you sure that they disable account for transferring fund to any gambling site??
Base on the experience of some of their users, and based on their terms, it's a Yes.

By opening a Coinbase Account, you confirm that you will not use your Coinbase Account and/or any Coinbase Services to do any of the following:
[...]
5. Gambling: Lotteries; bidding fee auctions; sports forecasting or odds making; fantasy sports leagues with cash prizes; internet gaming; contests; sweepstakes; games of chance

Now, if you really use your CB account to deposit or transfer btc to any gambling website then I guess it might be the case.

[EDIT] Ah someone posted the terms related to gambling already, my bad.

If they block my account then where the fund will goes? Do they usually lock all the fund or they will send the fund to any wallet other than coinbase. Several months ago I have heard that coinbase disable account and they give option to withdraw fund to any wallet except coinbase. In that case they didn't disable login. But for my case they disabled my login.
You're lucky enough if they let your funds to be withdrawn and close your account, but if not then that's a pain in the ass...
1323  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Want to sell Exchanges Domains for .Pk TLD on: November 14, 2020, 04:48:18 PM
I would do the same what the first reply said, binance is fond of having a different office in other countries where they're operating, if they want to have in Pakistan then that's a good chance for you. But not sure about the other domains you have though, some scammers might have interests in that as well;
1324  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Suggestions on earning crypto on: November 14, 2020, 04:11:51 PM
Earning crypto is quite easy if you have the skills to offer (this belong to anything you knew from being a graphic artist, customer support, article writter and etc.) and accept bitcoin/crypto as your payment, low risk involve, unlike trading and other stuffs.
1325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Canadian Tax Agency Asks Crypto Exchange to Hand Over Clients Personal Data on: November 14, 2020, 01:34:53 PM
All CEX are vulnerable to this, once the government where these CEXs are based asked, they cannot refuse to those request. CEXs' users should already know about this if they're reading their terms and privacy policy before/after registereing.

That's why people suggesting to migrate to DEX, but the main problem of most of DEXs are low liquidity and bad UX.
1326  Other / Off-topic / Re: https://imgur.com/ is down ? on: November 14, 2020, 12:25:31 PM
Where are you located? Did you try a VPN? The website might be restricted in your area. Also which browser are you using? Did you try a different one?
Even his ip address is banned or whatsoever regarding the restricted access of the site, that kind of error won't show, this is I guess a connection or cache/cookies related problem, op may try to clear those the same as suggested above.

1329  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [Tutorial] Metamask on: November 13, 2020, 05:13:10 PM

Regarding so steps/tutorial, may tutorial naman sila at may demo video both.
1330  Other / Meta / Re: Can i do this to get affiliates? on: November 13, 2020, 05:06:03 PM
I guess there are no forum rules related to affiliate linking on PM or signature space. You will only get tagged by other members when you caught linking/promoting a malware or/and scams on that space.

Most rules to follow on that space are from signature campaigns (if you have) since some of them have specific and strict rules.
1331  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to implement bitcoin as a payment method on: November 13, 2020, 12:30:21 PM
Just a heads up, you always need to hire a developer to implement a payment gateway on your website which will always cost you, not unless if you know someone irl to make it for you.
But if you're running your website on WordPress, jomla, prestashop, magneto then I guess its easy since what you need is only the account api, xpub/ypub/zpub using blockonomics. I'm sure other gateways have plugins too in these sites. But if you're gonna implement using btcserver self-hosted, I guess that's a different thing, you need a developer to work on it. But good thing they have plugins for magento, drupal and prestashop, also you can connect it to shopify as well.
1332  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: November 13, 2020, 09:32:07 AM

I did forgot to check in mycelium, but I just tried it and got verified. The one is in question is using brainwallet, it still failed to me though.

In brainwallet try to use the QT version, paste the message without the extra new line.
I tried it and still the same though. The same on desktop and mobile using firefox.  Undecided

Weird, I tried to access the link and it give me "failed message"

1334  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Payment does not appear in Electrum wallet - not sure why? on: November 13, 2020, 02:29:33 AM
The receiving address is probably legacy.
There are two addresses in outputs of the transaction. One of them is legacy and another one is segwit
The segwit address in outputs of the transaction is probably the change address. Because that's same as the input.
Ah, yes, this is correct my bad.

Also should we disable the bitcoin payments on the website for now, as the BTC could be getting lost until we identify the issue?
Yes, you should, to avoid your funds getting lost.

Try the suggestions above, about the gap limit and..

Because Triple A don't allow segwit we used a legacy address to receive (electrum).  It began xpub...
You should avoid using bitcoin payment that don't accept segwit address if you're concern of your clients, its a pain in the ass paying higher fees in every transaction y'know.

It is a tragedy that the message signing feature in Bitcoin Core is broken because it can no longer create an address that it can use for signing.

Quoted, but I'm having a hard time to verify your signed message using brainwallet and electrum. I guess using next line on your signed message is the cause of this?
1336  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Payment does not appear in Electrum wallet - not sure why? on: November 12, 2020, 06:23:04 PM
If you input your xpub on blockonomics payment setup page then address should be legacy address that start with 1, ypub start with 3 and zpub start with bc1.

And that's true that blockonomics can't access your fund since xpub, ypub and zpub will only be used to generate payment address on your site.

Now, based on the txid, the payment address generated was a native segwit address, p2pf£d%t. And choose native segwit ..... when importing your seed, just make sure that you check the BPIP39 option, choose native segwit with derivation path of m/44'/0'/0'

but investing give much higher percentage of profit in just a short period of time but it depends on how much, what or where did you invest.
Maybe you're referring to trading not investing? there's no "short period of time" in investment, there is a short-term investment, but "short period of time"? maybe it's day trading or so.

According to the oxford dictionary:
Quote
Investing: expend money with the expectation of achieving a profit or material result by putting it into financial plans, shares, or property, or by using it to develop a commercial venture.

There is nothing mentioning a period of time in this explanation. Therefore, personally, I think that trading is a type of trading in which we take profit and expectation in a shorter amount of time. What do we call people who are swing traders or long-order trader? From my perspective, they are all the same. And if you trade (or invest) blindly without learning or having knowledge, I can consider that type of person as a gambler. There will be no difference in this particular situation
Don't be confused trading from investing, they two are different things. While trading is short-term strategies, investment holds long-term approach. That's why I argue of OP's "short period of time" in investing.
