2241  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Gas ban - A problem for Europe or suicide for Russia? on: May 28, 2022, 11:47:44 PM
The need for oil will be there forever. This means even if European countries doesn't buy from Russia, there is possible chances of Russia selling the oil to other nations. Maybe there'll be stagnation, but this isn't going to be a big issue for Russia. This could lead the Russia oil depending countries to focus on infrastructure development for other forms of energy production.
2242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 28, 2022, 10:34:04 PM
Did anyone watched the women's T20 between Supernovas vs Velocity. Really good match, the two time champion once again confirmed it's third time championship. Favouring Velocity Volvaardt made the best, but they wasn't able to win the match as there is no big support came from the team players. The crowd was chanting we need women's IPL 2023.
2243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everything stop on: May 28, 2022, 05:07:03 PM
Todays current situation for Luna all my works just stop and cant belive whats going on with this scenario!!  Lost too much in my life savings!! Now thinking about invest on btc at least there is no chance like 98% dump at least stable coin looking to more risky!!
I think that your life savings should not be left in an altcoin, your life savings should always be left in stocks or safe coins, like gold, BTC can be a safe haven, but in the long term you should see BTC as the coin that can reach $100k and if you have your life savings in BTC when you get there you will have even more profits then it's not bad what happened ´, but you must learn that you don't have to leave everything in one place. I recommend diversification, such as real estate, gold, bitcoin and everything that can give you security and trust.

Diversifying the investment lets the users to limit the loss against the market fluctuation. People invest in altcoins based on the profit that can be generated out of it. Here every altcoin won't give the best return out of the investment. Finding potential altcoins is a kind of gamble. Very few succeed, so it is good to go for traditional investment.
2244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! on: May 27, 2022, 11:12:45 PM

Gonzalez indicated that Bukele’s strategy has already proven to be successful in terms of socioeconomic impact according to Cointelegraph.
Everytime the adoption of bitcoin by El Salvador is seen in a way that it creates economic downturn to the nation. With the recent briefing people could've understood what really happening with bitcoin. Though the El Salvador government continue to buy bitcoin, they've made contributions to the society out of the profit from the people's money invested on bitcoin. For a grown country this looks simple, but for a nation that is getting built it is a big thing. Finally Gonzalez mentioned about CBDCs need to coexist with bitcoin and countries into development of their own CBDC is the beginning of their entry into digital economy.
2245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2022 is the time to buy or sell? on: May 27, 2022, 09:58:20 PM
Hello,
2022 is the time to buy or sell? If it is time to buy, then which coins or tokens?

Thank you.
I think it is very obvious that year 2022 is a time to buy market is on dip and there are a lot of token that is also on dip situation that is good for buying this time. You can track them all on coingecko or CMC with their 24 hours trading volume and thier last ATH price, example is the HELENA token and many more. Just make a little effort in searching and be careful always.
With the current market conditions that are going down, it seems that many people are really taking advantage of this time to buy,
even so it is not easy to make the right decision and we should not make decisions in a hurry either,
conducting analysis and research is still important
In the past people used to sell their holdings when the market turns bearish. This is out of the fear whether the market will bounce back or not. Now the scenario is different. People believe in the market and the manipulation isn't possible by the big Whales who take chances of accumulating. The market that of bitcoin that has been moving around $30k for the past few days have touched $28k today. So is the altcoins as well, and this is the time of buying more for the future profiting.
2246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The first gas station to accept Bitcoin in my region on: May 27, 2022, 06:57:07 PM
Thats a great initiative accepting bitcoin in fuel station. Through this it is possible to reach more people about bitcoin. It is a place where we can see people in queue and crowd. In some locations it is possible to self serving fuel station. Adding bitcoin acceptance will increase popularity to the fuel station. It is a surprise to watch bitcoin at a lower price.

Apart from these services I came across this BlockChain fuel station in philippines.
2247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good time to start accepting BTC? on: May 27, 2022, 03:39:53 AM
Start accepting bitcoin based on the legal system in your country. In many countries the legal framework isn't supportive to accept bitcoin, because bitcoin is still under the unregulated sector. It is good to accept bitcoin into business unlike the market, but your government shouldn't create any problem to your business.

If your business is in a region where there is more people using cryptocurrencies, then it'll add more support to you. If not you should have the mind to consider bitcoin acceptance without any expectations on short term profit making. Because many large scale business firms like Expedia started accepting bitcoin and stopped within a short as they didn't received expected usage.
2248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't trade your Bitcoin like Laszlo Hanyecz on: May 27, 2022, 03:28:28 AM

Laszlo Hanyecz very much made into the Bitcoin history book as one of the first to prove that BTC can be used like an ordinary money. Now, had I been in his place i would not just buy pizza but also some coffee and maybe eve donuts with my BTC mined. We have many things to thank this man for taking the risks and for finding that pizza patrol for the transaction. And that is why we have an annual Bitcoin Pizza Day to honor the event, honor the man and honor Bitcoin. I am wondering what kind of pizzas were bought back then...
In the history of bitcoin we don't know the identity of Satoshi. Atleast we've seen the person who have given value to the marvelous innovation. He mentioned it was two large pizzas. I would like to remind people not to donate anyone requesting in the name of Laszlo Hanyecz. Came across a Twitter account requesting donation.

2249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 26, 2022, 03:27:21 AM

I believe that he’ll secure his place under Dravid (Indian coach) mentoring, and if he continues to follow Dravid’s instructions then there’s a huge possibility that he’ll develop into one of the best bowlers we have seen till date. However he should be told to ignore the expectations and just focus on his natural game, because the weight of expectations can harm his game and lastly I hope that team India will carefully groom him and help him deal with this newfound stardom.
There is fair chance for Umran Malik, Moshin Khan, Harshal Patel to get into the Indian squad. These players when given support to play international matches, surely will progress. Within the Indian team there'll be lots of politics, so that even if the players weren't performing good at the beginning they should be given consistent chances.
2250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real-estate & Crypto on: May 25, 2022, 08:08:03 PM
If you're looking for real estate property in Brazil there is real estate start up named Gafisa accepting bitcoin in exchange for real estate property. For this Gafisa have partnered with Foxbit.

Bitcoin transaction on real estate is a much needed one, because on every transaction the bank gets involved without reason. Based on the on-chain data Brazil stands 6th position in terms of value transacted through cryptocurrencies. Brazil have got good number of users compared to other countries.

Brazil Real Estate Gafisa Now Accepts Bitcoin
2251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 25, 2022, 06:54:05 PM
Enjoyed watching the eliminator match between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore. What a match, Rahul as usual took responsibility to the winning moment. Due to the pressure at the depth overs he wasn't able to go for his regular shots. Instead went for a ramp shot and got caught in the hands of Shahbaz. From that match went into the hands of RCB. It was Harshal Patel who took RCB to win. The fielding from RCB, particularly Hasaranga is really appreciable.
2252  Economy / Exchanges / Re: New bitcoin fork on Yobit? This is another shitcoin on: May 23, 2022, 11:59:21 PM
Often at certain time interval new tokens roll out of the platform. One could've never heard of such tokens. Atleast with this people are familiar about the name. It also lists more number of tokens to the exchange, which is the reason why it has been getting used. The exchange is something different from the other exchanges, have everything in a single platform. Bitcoin fork is one more addition to the new tokens launched in recent days. In the past I used to use yobit to play Dice with available tokens.
2253  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin's price stabilize someday? on: May 23, 2022, 11:27:56 PM
Being volatile is the attraction of bitcoin, but everyone won't be loving it. For now it won't stabilize, because the market needs to experience a massive change. Countries are continuing their process of regulating the usage of cryptocurrencies. This could make changes in the long term. The recent government to show full fledged effort on regulating cryptocurrency is Australia’s newly-elected Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. Same as him when more countries create regulatory framework the market will stabilize, but the network function like a centralized system.
2254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $1.6 billion dollars turned to $2,200 - The Luna effect on Binance Assets on: May 23, 2022, 10:59:34 PM
Binance requesting the Luna team to provide compensation for its users is a way to gain the trust over the platform. If things have happened out of a Decentralised Exchange, there won't be any issues. Here Binance itself have experienced a massive loss out of the investment. As things have happened in a very short time period, no Exchanges were able to make outright decisions to escape the loss. Already the Luna Terra fund back-up reserve have got emptied. So, only the recovery can provide the compensation and not the team.
2255  Economy / Economics / Re: What can an average JOE do to face the global food crisis? on: May 23, 2022, 07:02:43 PM
I don't know if these will work, but I think this might help to average JOE's there like me.

Never mind the wants and focus more on needs. Let's focus more on the things that we need like food and not buy the things that we want. Buying foods that will take a long time to expire might help as well. Being practical will help too since we need to budget our money especially us average and poor people, in order to have some money to be used on buying food. Having a different mindset of focusing more on needs rather than the wants. Planting some vegetables in our backyard will help.
Limiting the unwanted expenses and buying foods that will last for longer time period is the good solution. Many people are used to specific food habit, and they should look for the alternate. Right now the main focus should be on food to survive and not on costly and tasty ones. In the short term it is impossible to grow crops. Understanding the time it is good to sow some seeds of different vegetables like spinach.
2256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thank you Laszlo Hanyecz! Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day! on: May 23, 2022, 12:58:48 AM
Satoshi innovated the technology and bitcoin evolved out of it. Laszlo Hanyecz gave value to it, so these two are most important persons for the network to be this stronger. I don't know whether someone would've done this, if Laszlo Hanyecz hasn't bought the pizza with 10000BTC. Later we heard about people losing wallets with huge volume of Bitcoin and similar news. For all those news were made out of him. If he hasn't initiated the spending possibility, we could've never recognised the technology as well as bitcoin.
2257  Economy / Economics / Re: World has just ten weeks' worth of wheat left after Ukraine war on: May 22, 2022, 11:50:27 PM
Looking for an alternate is the only choice than just thinking of the prevailing situation in Ukraine. The war have made a big impact in the world's economy. Initially it was oil and now the same is happening with food shortage. At this situation Ukraine itself experience shortage. It looks like the history is getting repeated. During the year 2008 the world faced a massive economic crisis and slowly everything got recovered. Once again everything have affected for some reason. This could've been avoided if countries have made proper storage for the produced wheat.
2258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The average joe would never accept bitcoin as means of payment due to tx fees on: May 22, 2022, 11:44:37 PM
What OP said is a part. People are much connected with making budget for the month's spending. A separate column gets added when paid with bitcoin to mention the transaction fee. From a common man's view, he/she will surely think twice before spending when there is access to spend free as well as cashbacks. How far this works isn't known, but in each and everything something return is assured though the mentioned things will be useless.

Since I keep myself updated on IPL through the forum - nothing on our TV channels about the IPL. Read it above that Hydrabad is going to play semi final if they win today, are they in semi finals now? What's the current update of IPL now as it is heading towards finals.
The final four is Gujarat Titans, Rajasthan Royals, Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore according to their rankings. In that Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals will play the first qualifying match and the winner goes to the final while Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers will play the elimination match and the winner of elimination match and the looser of first qualifier play again for a spot in the final.
All the four teams are equally strong. Both the new teams looks more confident, because of reaching the playoff in its very first season. Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals have got two opportunities to make their entry into final whereas Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants needs to be very careful with the matches. In this regard RCB vs LSG will be more interesting than GT vs RR.
2260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't trade your Bitcoin like Laszlo Hanyecz on: May 22, 2022, 09:59:20 PM
He took a big step, giving it more value. Maybe if that decision isn't taken by him, even now bitcoin could've been used as a gambling token as well as a store of value for money laundering and darkweb activities. Just because he did such a marvelous thing we're talking about him. He has secured his place in the history with such a huge spending. Before indicating he's wrong we should self analyse what we've done for bitcoin and for its growth???
