1321  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the $17,000+ bitcoin price breakout benchmark to new price direction on: January 14, 2023, 10:43:57 PM
I saw it hit $21k just now but it was short and sweet, however, I was on the fence as the price suddenly drops to $20,400. So the resistance but now should be in the $21k'ish, as this is the second time that we have attempted that price breach it and then goes down hard again.

It's weekend anyway so let's how its going to be slow and the price will continue to ascend and not go down below $20k because that is a big psychological barrier that we need to reach and then sustain.
It is around there, and the good thing about the situation is that we didn't had just one pump. We reached to 19k levels first and then stopped for a while and then reached to 21k after that once again too. Which is why it's such a big deal, because it means that we have reached to a point where it had 2 big pumps back to back.

This doesn't mean that we are going to end up with a big increase later on neither, maybe it will and maybe it won't but that doesn't change the fact that it will not have anything good coming up, it could have a few more back to back increases like this until the month ends and maybe we will close the month with 30k? That is possible if you ask me.
The price keeps on reaching new barriers. Right now it have touched $21k which is quite big considering its value around $17000. There have been discussions will we experience $20k during the month of January. Myself never believed, because the price has been moving within particular limits without exceeding the margin. Finally breakout have taken place and more investment will flow in, which could keep the market bullish. As mentioned back to back price pumping could take the price higher depending on the positive incidents happening around.
1322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I keep my BNB or Sell it? on: January 14, 2023, 10:35:27 PM
Have you checked your BNB right now? I hope you didn't sell yet after two days because right now the price of BNB is better.

BNB is one of the top altcoins, even if there's a fud I still see its future on a good side and with that I'm also planning to increase my holdings even on its current price because this is not a bull run yet and we might see a better price in the next few months.

Don't sold if you don't need the money, there's no better NFTs compare to BNB, I'll still choose it over the other project.
This is the point, if you are worried about the prices and all that, and suddenly the price changes in a much better way, you would regret it. This is why I am a long term investor because having time on my side would mean that I get to do whatever I want to do and not really have to worry about anything at all.

Too many people are worried about the situation we are in and that's a bad thing because we shouldn't really worry about a bear market, we should be hyped about it. You get to buy cheap, and in days like this you get to make a profit and in the end it's going to be even higher when the time comes. This is why it's such an important thing.
I've found out that the more we check on the market price and our portfolio, the more it affects our mindset and even influences our decisions which commonly results in worries. That is why I become seldom check during the bear season and it is because I was confident that I'm investing the right coins. In fact, BNB is still in the top 5 coins in the market which mean that even if the market will drop more, the chance is high to recover as well. Holding them until the bull season comes is not regretting but surely a big reward awaits us.
The market have experienced big recovery. None is sure, whether it is the beginning of the bill run or it is just the bull trap. However the price increase have happened good with the altcoins along with bitcoin. Holding BNB seems to be the right choice. Myself too missed selling all my BNB few months back. If I'm not wrong BNB is one of the coin that is being much manipulated, so watching the market is a must to make the right move.
1323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what do you expect from cryptocurrency? on: January 14, 2023, 10:30:56 PM
I have invested at the wrong time when the price of cryptocurrencies is really very expensive,
of course what I hope is that altcoin prices can return to new ATH again, especially now that I'm currently holding altcoins like Verasity, Crypto.com, and Fantom,
Let's hope that 2023 will be a bullish year for cryptocurrencies.
Cryptocurrencies are like anything else in markets you will never generate endless amount of money. All bull markets will end somewhere and start bear market. In my opinion you should embrace you got from your first ever crypto acquisition. You will do better in next bull runs for sure. Altcoins are going around dip now although I think this year in 2023 we will definitely observe another altcoin run through some altcoins hitting top 10 or 20. Your altcoins are not bad coins by the way but I wouldn't hold them nowadays.
Right now the market have begun to move same as that of the traditional ones. When there is bull market, the same gets followed by the bear market. This is how every market operates and in between the fluctuations will bring revenue for the traders. Whether it is bitcoin or altcoins, my choice is to accumulate as much possible, because the variation in the market will be big in no time compared to that of other form of investments. Holding as much possible and keeping ourselves for the worst scenario is my way of expectancy.
1324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: January 13, 2023, 11:58:06 PM
~snip~
Well, to be honest, I confess that I was very surprised with Morocco disputing this semifinals of this world cup, I never imagined that they could have reached there, but they played with a lot of vigor and determination, and in fact the results they achieved were deserved!!

I think that was one of the biggest surprises of the tournament. They literally made history, being the first African nation to reach to the semi finals of the world cup.

Another surprise was of course Saudi Arabia winning against the future world cup winner, Argentina.

And I think there were a few other results that no one was expecting. It was a pretty entertaining world cup.
Agreed, unexpected outcomes kept the entire tournament interesting. From the beginning to the last more teams that are expected to win came out earlier. Morocco is really good at its game and gained good support from people around the world, who were once in favour of the top nations.

Came across a video of Saudi players getting threatened by an official for losing a match. I don't know whether that is true or not. If someone have come across the video please post what is being discussed.
1325  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [P2P]Is there anyone who knows good bank for P2P trading ? on: January 13, 2023, 11:53:16 PM
Savings bank accounts have limitations. For big transactions you can have a business account . Based on the location of the bank (country) and the terms we'll be able to see different volumes to be transacted. The process of p2p trading will be the same with majority of the trading service providers. You find a trader,  open the trade, make the transaction and the volume of cryptocurrency for the amount transacted will be sent to the respective account's wallet.
1326  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the $17,000+ bitcoin price breakout benchmark to new price direction on: January 13, 2023, 11:46:29 PM
Decisive moment for bitcoin right now. Or it's going to break the resistance level at 20,000$, or it's going to almost hit 20,000$ then crash to the new support level. Big expectations of seeing bitcoin keeping the positive trend above 20,000$. On the other hand, since we are talking about a trend which has started only 3 days ago, and it's pretty intense, there are chances it's just temporary, because when the price pumps too fast, it also dumps really fast not too long after... I would be more confident if this trend had been already lasting for a week, at least.
Once the price reach the $20k barrier, the market will try to have it as the resistance point. From there the chance of falling down to $20k seems to be low. The price is moving at faster phase, which doesn't look to be a temporary move for a crash at the shortest. Some predicted it as the market is being tested and rest will be manipulation. Let's see what's gonna be the outcome.
1327  Economy / Economics / Re: Your way of living the wage what you need to live normal life on: January 13, 2023, 11:41:36 PM
Commenting on and proposing solutions to current problems is always simple. However, in fact, it is extremely difficult. I concur that apartment prices are frequently excessive in big cities. Aside from that, renting a condo or apartment is expensive due to the limited years of use of the building. Rents are also expensive because it costs a lot to buy land in a big city.

I do not have many ideas for the UK and Europe, but people in Canada and the United States can look for work and it is not hard unless someone is selective. In addition, there is always the option to relocate to other states in order to obtain a wage that is sufficient for the standard of living.
I believe everything these days have become costly and not affordable at all even from the rent up to the items sold in the market. So expect that companies would hardly consider increasing the wages of the workers as not the workers alone are affected but even big companies too are struggling for profits. However, it’s still a great feeling and satisfying for workers if we can be paid according to our efforts and skills, so we can be more engaged and develop more passion to our individual jobs.
Wages based on the efforts and skills won't work all the time. Maybe you have worked well for a month and the consecutive month didn't bring good revenue to the company though you've put your hard efforts and used your skills. To avoid such occasions it is good to have your wage fixed according to the position.
1328  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did Miss El Salvador cause the Bitcoin price to spike last night? on: January 13, 2023, 11:36:20 PM
Whether El Salvador wins the competition or not, the country keeps working on all possible ways to give awareness to the world. The Miss Universe competition is the real resemblance of El Salvador, because they've taken the step forward and working on it without expecting the results. The price rise over the two days will make people praise the decision of El Salvador buying bitcoin at the lowest price of recent months.
1329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: January 12, 2023, 10:51:17 PM
Always gamblers with huge funds will be good. Because, they never care of the win/loss and the same makes them be the one that OP have mentioned. When a common man gambles automatically the prime focus will be on profit making. This will keep them emotionally connected with the money spend. So, everytime it is hard to be a good gambler. Maybe in the long run after realizing the facts about gambling, they'll turn themselves good understanding the limits and have the right start/stop position.
1330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Signs of a better year for btc investors on: January 12, 2023, 10:40:10 PM
And again, it just shows how BTC is so resilient, just a month or two ago, we hit lowest low because of the FTX drama and collapse. And now for the past 8 days, we are in a huge rally capping it yesterday with a huge +4% increased. So it means it doesn't give a f**k about what had happen to us, hehehe. And those who are shorting BTC in exchanges are really getting smoke almost $100 million as per this tweet.

https://twitter.com/mskvsk/status/1613321293214126081

It seems that many people are getting excited about the growth of bitcoin in the past 2 days but forget to watch out for this could be a trap. A 4% gain may be huge for another asset, but for bitcoin, it is nothing, even if a negative news spreads, it can drop 10% in 1 hour. What is happening is said to be impacted by today's CPI predictions, and if CPI is released as predicted, I believe bitcoin will go even higher. But if the CPI is not as low as forecast, the market will quickly turn negative. We still need to remain vigilant.
A few days after the thread the OP made showed Bitcoin at $17K and now the official CPI announcement was released we have positive news with Bitcoin rising to over $18K. Certainly, this is a belief that earlier this year has moved more aggressively which makes long-term investors more confident. Plus some institutional investors see Bitcoin as a suitable alternative in 2023. Even the price to close this month is still long enough that Bitcoin will certainly show additional gains.
There were more discussions on price reaching $20k before the month end. Earlier it looked to be difficult to reach and the positive move reaching above $18000 have made things possible. As said the growth at the beginning of the year keeps the investors happy and invest more. It looks like waiting for the low bottom to invest have missed the opportunity. The growth of bitcoin followed by altcoins too a positive thing and in specific ethereum have shown good sign of growth.
1331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It good For The Casinos And The Accusers If .. on: January 12, 2023, 09:26:24 PM
Our forum is the dedicated platform for anything related to bitcoin. In simple terms, it is the wikipedia of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. From the very beginning having an announcement thread on our forum adds trust to the respective platform. When the same platform is mentioned, not to have discussions over it. The casino will surely loss its reputation, because different accusations have been rectified through our forum in favour of the casino as well as to the users.
1332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a trend over other cryptocurrency. on: January 12, 2023, 09:21:21 PM
Bitcoin is the name that have paved path for the rest of the cryptocurrencies available in the market. Bitcoin being the lead its market movements were followed by the rest of the cryptocurrencies. The proven growth is another reason why this is being believed as well as given importance for investments. In the short duration we've encountered big number of cryptocurrencies losing its value after reaching great heights. Bitcoin have been moving on its path without carrying any external pressure on it. The market have now begun to run close to the traditional market which makes it more strong.
1333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sell motorbikes to buy bitcoins on: January 12, 2023, 09:14:56 PM
I have 2 motorbikes at home, but what I always use is only 1 motorbike, and 1 motorbike is rarely used, and indeed the motorbike is also old, and if it is sold it won't be too expensive, and I decided to sell the motorbike, because in my opinion the price of the motorbike will definitely fall over time,
(affected by inflation). and the money from the sale of the motorbike I will use to buy bitcoin. because in my opinion the price of bitcoin in the future will definitely rise. and also currently the market is bear, so this is a good opportunity to buy bitcoins. and I want to ask everyone, the decision I made, namely selling the motorbike and the money to buy bitcoin, is it wrong or not?

I'm ready to be corrected because I have no experience in bitcoin and crypto.

You need to be prepared for two things:

First: Bitcoin price will reach levels at which you will think to yourself: Its too scary not to sell because the price might change for the worse. This is your brain setting you a trap. Do not fall for it.

Second: You need to be prepared to make this a long term investment. Flip Flopping back and forth between Bitcoin and Fiat will only grind you down on fees until nothing is left of your money.

We might see 5k tomorrow or 50k. Do not panic sell.

Enjoy the ride. Bitcoin is always the right choice!
The last sentence gives you the right understanding. Bitcoin is always the right choice. You need to understand the reality and make decisions. With time the market value of the motorbike keeps diminishing, with bitcoin things can happen to the peak rise or it can fall down to the bottom. This is how the market runs, so patience is always required. According to my understanding, there is nothing scary and nothing to get into panic when you've understood the market movements and the incident that drives the market by the time.
1334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Implementation of blockchain technology in the whole world / Denmark. on: January 09, 2023, 11:56:40 PM
I don't have much technical knowledge, already Estonia have everything developed over the blockchain technology. Even the election polling is done through the blockchain voting system. Implementation of such a big task within a short period is simply hard in my understanding.
1335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Shiba INU tokens continue to rise? on: January 09, 2023, 10:55:29 PM
shib requires more than right now to keep rising its value, the thing with shiba is that its relation with elon shill isn't as strong as doge whereas at every elon gesture doge get affected meanwhile shiba is still considered just like other meme coins, if shiba could brings good innovation and features surely it could keeps its value and instead further increasing it, shiba should starting to become quality coins with real innovation and features that it could quite literally leave the meme coin categories.
It's true that the team needs to innovate so that the value of Shiba increases,
besides that we also can't expect that what happened to Dogecoin will also happen to Shiba,
what is clear is that time will tell and we'll see.
At some point Shiba got pushed by influencers and investors. Further it wasn't able to make a progress. Being a memecoin it have improved itself and we can't blame the developers. They're working hard making the community stronger. Another thing they're good with different plans decreasing the supply by burn process. This keeps the market stable than crashing down to the bottom.
1336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HELP, I want betting/gambling tokens in crypto portfolio for 2025 on: January 09, 2023, 10:50:11 PM
Only buy them if you're actually going to use them. You can also stake them if you want but there are many tokens out there with the same utility so you're probably better off investing in others. The market for gambling tokens is not as big as you may think. Those high rollers on casinos probably do not care about the tokens and just toss them out for peanuts.
Staking those coins were the best option available. When it comes to gambling tokens they don't have multiple usage. Tokens can be used on their own platforms for gambling and to make revenue out of staking. Users who prefer investing on gambling tokens can also have an overview on the fan tokens which are similar in purpose. However while investing into these coins for long term it is to be considered as an investment without return. Feel happy if it brings good profit.
1337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 09, 2023, 10:44:13 PM

Except for Haris Rouf, every bowler in Pakistan bowled brilliantly today. They played very well. I would especially appreciate Naseem Shah's performance. I would say Naseem Shah is the main hero behind Pakistan's match win. He managed to take 5 wickets. Naseem Shah brought back talented batsmen like Conway, Phillips and Santner in the dressing room. Apart from the good performance of the bowlers, the performance of the batsmen was very responsible. Fakhar, Babar and Rizwan all played well. Pakistan will win the series if they can maintain this performance in the upcoming matches.
Naseem Shah made a marvelous performance. It is to be noted that Usama Mir, debutant took the wicket of Kane Williamson as his maiden ODI wicket which is very important for the score not move close to 300 runs. Next wicket is Tom Latham. He had been leading the team towards a good score and he was among the top scorer for New Zealand. According to me Usama Mir is a important person in today's win.
1338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How profitable it is possible to invest in bitcoins in the new year 2023. on: January 09, 2023, 10:36:13 PM
Invested on the end days of 2022 have made 2023 to be profitable. Cheesy
The market is slowly moving forward. We don't know how things could change. Lets stay positive with the market. Investing into bitcoin at the moment is really good. Right now the market is in a situation that defines whether the price bounce or go downwards. Moving upwards makes us miss opportunity, downturn will make us have patience for the recovery. So, considering it an opportunity it is good to start DCA.
1339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Cuban wants to buy more Bitcoins on: January 09, 2023, 09:40:32 PM
More investors have turned themselves towards bitcoin. Same as that Mark Cuban have got into bitcoin and has planned to increase the portfolio. All over the world the acceptance level is low, but the adoption from people like Mark Cuban keeps the market good understanding the real potential. What these people does is really important and required for the healthy growth.
1340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Is The level on impact of FTX crash on Your portfolio? on: January 08, 2023, 11:35:39 PM
There is more discussion stating FTX as teg reason for the ongoing market downturn. According to me, even if the FTX issue haven't arisen we could've experienced similar market situation. It is the regular market and FTX issue is just a part. I haven't got much of holding, so I'm on the safer side.

The market crashes over time have happened for different reasons. Now the crash happened close to the FTX incident and for the same everything is connected to it.
