1341  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price, January. $20000 or above possible? on: January 08, 2023, 11:26:43 PM
The price for now isn't that progressive. There is small breakout reaching $17k. If this gradually rise with price movements within specific range for some time period, then surely we can expect $20k if some news rolls out with the positive note. Came across a poll in which more than 56% predicted the price will reach $20k+ within January. Let's see what happens by the end of the month.
1342  Economy / Economics / Re: Every passing year seems progressively worse on: January 08, 2023, 11:19:18 PM
World is facing the worst economic situation. In this situation it is a must to stay positive, only then it is possible to stay strong and make ourselves progressive amidst the prevailing situation. Life won't be the same all the time. At times we need to be very active and keep ourselves challenging than just enjoying the feel of being lonely and missing out.

With the mentioned $100k one can make $1000 as revenue out of the bank providing 3% annual interest. With the 6 bitcoins out of $100k it is possible to earn bigger than what is being got through the bank interest. We don't know the peak price bitcoin could reach in the future, based on what it have reached earlier 6BTC will bring much higher profit. Only time can give the proper answer for this.

Nice to see some powerful people coming in support of Bitcoin once again. Looks like the next bull run is near.

It is unclear whether or not this news is accurate, and whether Argentina's presidential candidate is a bitcoin supporter, but we can't expect to see a substantial change in bitcoin prices or bitcoin markets, since all of these people tend to spread some news in order to gain fame and recognition for their own benefit, but when they actually get power, they will act differently, also as we all know we are still on the bearish market and there is still not any valid signal to say the bear market is over yet, especially when we are at the beginning of this year and nothing is clear yet.
Yes, we haven't got any clear information on the president's view on bitcoin. In recent years bitcoin have begun to coexist with the traditional market. This makes cryptocurrency to be something familiar among all levels of people. Making way for something new will create an attraction and Argentina president is trying to do it. We don't know how effective his statements will make changes in the market. For now the market is moving of its own.
1345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Failure of Exchnages can never be that of Bitcoin. on: January 08, 2023, 10:59:43 PM
Bitcoin is developed out of the blockchain technology where the intermediary is eliminated. This makes way for the decentralised functioning of the network. Now the existence of centralized exchanges have taken the intermediary position in some means. In one way the growth of cryptomarket is connected with the contribution from Exchanges. Same time the centralized system failures create negative image for bitcoin among the unknown people. In reality the mistake is the exchange and not the bitcoin.
1346  Economy / Speculation / Re: what If Bitcoin Price never comes up on: January 08, 2023, 10:49:21 PM
With time the price have increased in connection to the varying supply and demand. Being speculative the market used to react to the incidents happening around. At times influencers make some movements on the market. This way the market will always moves in some direction. Till date the market have bounced amidst the opposition and support.

Over the years, the market have widened. From the illegal status to the adoption as a legal tender too can be mentioned as a reason that the price will increase and make new ATH.
1347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be profitable for the business? on: January 08, 2023, 10:38:24 PM
Cryptocurrency into business is always good, but we should not expect the profit out of the same immediately. People are much focused on profiting, but when we add something to business we need to must know whether the users are ready to use our service in exchange for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. If there is not much of users it takes time to make people around you to get aware of it. So, one should not expect profit instant.
1348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 07, 2023, 02:39:15 PM
What is the point in brining it down to 40 overs? Then why can't it be further reduced to 20 overs and make the same as T20? Nowadays people don't have 7 hours spare time to watch ODI cricket. Reducing the duration to 6 hours (40 overs) won't help much. The best thing to do is to shelve this format and just keep the T20 as the sole limited overs version. For the traditionalists, we have the 5-day version of cricket. There is no need to complicate cricket by having half a dozen different formats. Let's keep it simple and stick to just two formats - T20 and test.

I do not know what you are trying to keep test cricket alive. If you have an issue with watching a cricket match for seven hours, how can you find time to watch a cricket match for five days? That is just not making sense to me.

I think the best idea is going to be getting rid of test cricket and only keeping the T-20 cricket format and reducing the One Day International cricket overs. It can be, 30– 40 or anything in between. I think that is the best approach for now.

For me, getting rid of the ODI format and keeping the T-20 and Test format does not make any sense at all.
Each format of cricket have got its importance. With test format cricket, it is the pure form of cricket which is the parameter to know the real ability of a cricketer. ODI is something different where the player has to be very precise in his/her gameplay. With T20 format cricket it is like a gamble, because in no time the match scenario changes.
1349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 07, 2023, 02:03:18 PM
India have won the toss and decided to bat. It looks like they're with the plan of reaching atleast 200 runs. In the first six overs India have scored 53 runs losing the wicket of Ishan Kishan and Tripathi, who's in good form scoring 35 runs out of 16 balls. Somehow India need to keep up the run rate, because something around 150-160 runs will be an easy target for Sri Lanka.

Australia Vs South Africa Test Match Update

The first Test of the New Year between Australia and South Africa has been abandoned due to rain.  Osman Khawaja, who did not see a double century for only five runs, could not enter the field.  Due to rain, play was suspended for the entire third day and the first and second sessions of the fourth day.  Meanwhile, Australia declared the first innings at 475 runs with the target of winning the match.  Now South Africa have started their first innings and the batting has been in disarray at the start and they have lost three wickets for 84 runs so far.  Either way the match is heading towards a draw.  Barring any other untoward incident, this match between Australia and South Africa will be a 100% drawn.

Edited1: now Bavuma out by Hazelwood. RSA scored 85/4

In 59 overs South Africa have scored 149 runs losing 6 wickets. Jansen and Harmer on the crease, if South Africa innings ends in the third session then there is more winning chance for Australia. Maybe the rain too can be a reason for the bad performance from South Africa. After the pitch being wet for a day, surely there'll be some changes in the pitch condition.
1351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If Luck Was Measured In Percentage, Rate Your Luck In 2022 From 0-100 on: January 07, 2023, 07:06:46 AM
I wasn't lucky to something around 80% based on what I've lost. I was able to have good wager and increase my chances of reaching next VIP level. I was about to quit at several occasions as the losing continued. The run to recover the loss kept me pushing hard. Finally I was able to recover almost 80% of what I lost throughout the year. I thought of chasing to recover the remaining 20% and my inner mind said you may loss everything once again chasing the 20%

My gambling activities were much into casino games and particularly on Dice. 2021 was the worst year compared to 2022.
1352  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin What is the probability of 60 K+ again? on: January 07, 2023, 06:35:43 AM
The cryptomarket is at the decline and we haven't encountered any big events for a push in the market. We keep on encountering negative news and the same keeps the market movements within specific range. For everyone who have been holding long to experience the previous ath needs patience. It is likely to take place in the upcoming year or later.

Traders who are good enough to know about the market haven't experienced the worse. Traders who get greedy and are not moving with the market might've encountered massive losses. This is upto the traders knowledge about the market.

Pakistan has been surviving since the start of this match. According to the position Pakistan may try to draw the match rather than to win. Pakistan could not play up to the expectations with having reliable squad, they have to stay in wicket to keep the match at least draw. The game of 59 overs has just ended. At this time, Pakistan managed to score 176 runs. They do not care much about scoring runs at this time.

125 runs needed in 25 overs, and I am sure Pakistan is looking to draw this game rather than going for it. Saud Shakeel has scored 27 runs on 139 balls and tells the story of Pakistan strategy. New Zealand know they only need to break this partnership, and the rest of the wickets will come easily. Time is running out for New Zealand.
As time keeps running the pressure is getting built on New Zealand, because mistakes can cause them loss the match. With four wickets in hand Pakistan need 77 runs in 17 overs. Sarfaraz Ahmed is in good form scoring 106* and Agha Salman at 15*. It looks like the match have taken a turn and come into the hands of Pakistan team. Breaking partnership will increase the chance for New Zealand, particularly Sarfaraz Ahmed's wicket is more important for now.

I was just wondering! If Babar Azam steps down or gets sacked as the test captain who is the probable contender to replace him? I have two players in my mind. The first one is the current wicket-keeper and ex-captain of Pakistan Sarfaraz Ahmed and the second one is another wicket-keeper Mohamad Rizwan.

Who do you think can replace Babar Azam as the captain of the Test squad?

I don't think Babar Azam will step down from the captaincy. For now captaincy had never been a problem with the test squad, because somehow his performance and Rizwan's contribution will be there. He is the Pakistani cricketer who had the highest test cricket runs as captain. He had got good list of records as captain that makes his best captain in all three formats of cricket.
1355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your wishes for BTC in coming years? on: January 05, 2023, 09:35:48 AM
Spreading about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies need to happen, but in a way that people understand it in the right way than just finding it a means to get rich. Apart from this, we need to have a decentralised exchange with the services and features similar to Binance.

In terms of growth, it'll happen gradually. Our responsibility is to hold and have patience. With time the market have begun to coexist with the traditional Market. For this reason in the coming days we'll see market movements happening relative to the traditional market. People need to get adopted to it.

While everyone's focus is in Karachi, Usman Khawaja and Steven Smith are involved in an unbeaten 172 run partnership at Sydney and now Australia are cruising towards the 500 mark. Right now they are at 315/2. Khawaja hit his century and Smith is 13 runs away from that mark. Anrich Nortje has picked up two wickets and all the other South African bowlers have gone wicketless. And Australia still has Travis Head, Matt Renshaw, Alex Carey to come. This is going to be yet another one-sided match involving South Africa.
As usual the result of this test match will also go in favour of Australia. I have zero hopes from South Africa after following the previous matches. The match between NZ &  Pakistan is far much intresting at the moment. At the moment Pakistan is trailing by only 42 runs and they might not be able to put a lead as they have lost 9 wickets.
There is chances of match ending in a draw. Australia is in good form and nearing 500 runs. By the time Usman Khawaja is nearing 200 runs. If South Africa manage to play good in the first innings there is chances of draw.

In the match between Pakistan and New Zealand, NZ have lead by 71 runs. The match isn't favouring any team as both the teams have scored 449 and 409 runs in the first innings.
1357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a lone Sports Bettor or a Team Sports Bettor? on: January 05, 2023, 04:34:31 AM
Most of the gamblers will be lone bettors. Myself used to take the suggestion from the sporting enthusiasts as well as from articles that give better information about the game in which I've plans to bet. Most of the time my bets will be on the underdog, and the bet value will be low. When I go with the winning odds I prefer placing it on live Betting. A combined team betting will be interesting if one has placed over a team and the other have placed bet on the opponent.
1358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The mistake I made some years ago on: January 05, 2023, 04:04:21 AM
OP have missed the opportunity, and now he's on the right track. Even now it isn't too late, you've got more time left to experience the best out of bitcoin. Maybe the profiting won't be the same as what you missed. This is common and most of the users could've experienced it.

I personally hadn't trapped into pyramid schemes, I was fooled by multiplier schemes and lost good number of bitcoins believing in a centralized wallet application. Later through P2P transaction one user cheated me while trading. From then onwards I used to be very careful handling bitcoin.

@pakhittheboss honestly I felt that team India got lucky, and they deserved to lose this match because they put up a really small total on such a small ground. Furthermore while Mavi did bowl well, but I’m concerned because of his pace he can be beaten easily however only time will tell if team India was right to promote him in the T20 format.
Important aspect is that the Indian bowlers especially the fast bowlers were able to defend the total and Axar Patel bowled the last over and was able to defend the total. The crucial aspect is that the fast bowlers Shivam Mavi and Umran Malik were able to break partnerships whenever it looked promising. Shivam Mavi is having experience playing in the IPL and hopefully we will see Kamlesh Nagarkoti in the team as well in the future.

India won because of excellent bowling. Sri Lanka needed 40 runs in the last 4 overs. They failed to collect it. One of the main reasons for Sri Lanka's defeat was their slow batting. Their collection was only 35 runs in the first 5 overs of the power play. The top order players batted like fools. However, the second match looks to be more competitive.
If there was better contribution from the top order this could've been a win for Sri Lanka. 162 runs in T20 is reachable target. India was good at bowling and batting too, because there is fall of wickets and the players managed to contributed at the time they're on the crease. The combined contribution of the team is the reason for the win. As it was close, Sri Lanka will come better in the upcoming T20 match.
