2242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin's price volatility affect your gambling habits? on: September 09, 2017, 09:03:48 PM
Absolutely yes! It never bothered me when it used to be $250 and I lose 0.1 BTC in a single bet as it was my weekly budget to gamble over sports.
But now as the price is 20x, I have lowered down my total weekly bet to 0.02 btc and I hardly place them all in a single bet knowing that if I would lose, the loss would be huge in terms of fiat. So, I do it with smartness and place different bets with better chances of win. I used to gamble everyday before but it's not like that nowadays because now before gambling, I need to check the prices to decide whether to play or to withdraw.
2243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please help me to understand what is happening right now. The value of my bitcoi on: September 09, 2017, 08:57:17 PM
Keep calm dude, have some beer to chill up your mind and heart. Bitcoins are not going anywhere and its value is plummeting because of people just like you who are selling in panic, stop panicking first of all. It is completely intrinsic in terms of bitcoins to come down too. It has already risen above 400% this year alone which is not less than a milestone because nothing in this world went that high when it used to be in 3 figures in such a short span of time. If you will sell now, you will regret later. Better keep them with yourself until the storm settles, then wait for the right time and sell off.
2244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever gambled to escape worry, trouble, boredom, loneliness, grief or lose on: September 09, 2017, 08:41:53 PM
If you need reason to gamble, then it's a pure addiction because addictions take place only when you are depressed or are trying to escape something.
Gambling should never be done to escape anything as it could lead to serious losses and even much more depression levels could be observed. I gamble to make money no matter how, but I do it and manage to make some. When I lose, I don't cry but try hard to gamble back and earn something but what's lost is lost, I never try to recover it. It's not good to gamble while in trouble because it could also lead you to more trouble if, let's say, you do it with someone's money and lose. Yes I would say I want to remove boredom out of my life and I gamble for fun.
2245  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big Governments Are Crushing Cryptocurrencies -- Bitcoin Down 10 Percent on: September 09, 2017, 08:30:10 PM
Wait what? Bitcoin fell all the way from 5k to 4100 and it was more than a 20% dip, where were you at that time?
And when it recovered back till 4650 and then again 4190, you think it's getting more intense?
Governments, big? Which one, China? Neh, I don't believe any of them could harm Bitcoins because it has become the future of money as well as money of common people and when it's about people, governments can't do anything. They can't stop you breathing, right? It's your right to breathe, to say anything you feel, to use whatever you want. And Bitcoin is unstoppable as said by Bill Gates, so thinking too much over these dips could make us go insane.
They are just spreading rumors and shorting as well as making money over the hype, don't fall.
2246  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: September 09, 2017, 08:22:23 PM
It's never that easy OP because if it used to be the so-called China market alone like it was before, then anyone would have agreed to your statement.
But now, things have gone different for bitcoins and it is heading towards a perpendicular growth with an equal chance of doubling any day soon but dump!?
Huge investors are not stupid enough to get out seeing others committing such stupidity so it's implausible and unthinkable atm. If you are taking current dips, then they are nothing because they way Bitcoin sprouted like hell from 1k to 5k in less than a year proves that it can be anywhere but can't die.
2247  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: September 09, 2017, 08:06:27 PM
Hodling is an option I have seen that has proven to be the best one so far because Bitcoin rewards those who can wait. Just think about the people who sold after it fell down from 1k to 250 in 2014, they must be thinking over their decision for over 1000s of times now. Even alts work the same way, and if you feel you can't wait then selling your alts will be of no harm but regretting in the future if they get pumped up back is not an option because if Bitcoin goes higher in its value, you are actually getting what you have invested in alts (in terms of fiat) which is an advantage that you get. So why to sell them and not wait a bit more longer to get better rates through alts too?
2248  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: China will soon be insignificant? on: September 09, 2017, 07:39:54 PM
As long as China still holds majority of the hashrate of the network, we cannot really exclude them from the trading scene since they will still hold bulk of the trading volume all around the world. Also, at the current state of affairs, even rumours in China are generating a wave of reaction in the market, needless to say bitcoin is still China-bound even if regulations hit the users hard.

It's completely irrelevant to think that China is the mover of the markets anymore because many more countries are now involved in, as well as the reaction that comes from there is from their own investors so taking into consideration their decisions alone, bitcoins won't be giving a damn to it and btc is bound to grow no matter how hard they try to hit the markets with their stupid game-plays. It would be awesome if China takes off their head from bitcoins because if they think they may ruin it for everyone, they should gtfo now. But I think that if they (China) or their government ever decide to leave Bitcoins or even alts, then it would be like killing the goose who lays the golden eggs on their part.
2249  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins dropped by almost 500 $ just a few minutes on: September 09, 2017, 07:17:19 PM
Chinese decided to ban ICOs - rumor.
Fact is that Chinese are going to regulate them instead of banning.
Chinese decided to ban local exchanges - rumor.
Fact is that when all the exchanges were asked about the same, they refused that there's nothing like that and the statements have no such evidence to prove its verity. Think along, will they hinder their own economy when they know that they are the ones who hold it the most and need to dump it over others? This was just something made pre-planned to make the prices plummet and make it look like a big decision being took, but the reality behind the scenes is different.
2250  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Trend on: September 09, 2017, 07:06:05 PM
OP, you are trying to make it look like a bearish scene but on what basis?
Just because everyone is thinking China could take back their participation completely out of bitcoins doesn't mean btc could drop that hard, because now it's not China alone that controls the BTC markets but almost a lot of countries are now holding some handsome shares in btc and it should be deemed that bitcoins are unstoppable no matter what happens. I still feel that resistance above 5k has chances to be broken and we are yet to see some awesome new ATH levels that nobody have thought of.
2251  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to 5,000 $/btc ? on: September 09, 2017, 06:59:31 PM
well, after china do some things, i think it is very difficult to reach the price of $ 5000 this month. well, I just think that this is an opportunity for us, to have a lot of bitcoin, before bitcoin prices go up high, or reach $ 5000 for 1 btc

Prices are not going to slash down over these news or even if China takes out their money off BTC on the go. I think this dip is temporary just like we saw before when it went down to 4100 from 5k and it is doing the same thing again by breaking down from 4650 back to 4197. My instinct says that we are not going below 4k and yes, you are right that it's an opportunity to buy bitcoins at these rates because even if BTC goes back to 5k soon, you will get more than 20% added to your portfolio which even none of the banks in this world promise to give.
2252  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: can someone tell me the benefits of campaign on: September 09, 2017, 03:57:35 PM
Advertisers (companies) use signature campaigns to advertise their services over here and get expected exposure for their products/services. They hire managers to manage it for them, managers hire eligible members for their campaigns to work for them and help them advertise the company and get rewarded in return. It is also considered a way to earn bitcoins here as a side income but many do it as their full time job.
2253  Economy / Speculation / Re: To all hodlers on: September 09, 2017, 03:43:37 PM
Dear hodlers, I have some junk products to sell you, all you have to do is bring in more people to buy your stuff and you have to buy my junk at a premium. Doesn't this sound like an amazing opportunity to buy a Lambo? I will be the first one to buy a Lambo though, you just have to hodl  Grin

If you think Bitcoin is a junk, then you are being too much undervaluing because that ^junk^ itself proved many times to be worth more than your so-called "Lambo" by going from $0.01 to a whopping 5k and I bet this will become true and you will regret why you didn't buy Bitcoins but Lambo. Bitcoins have an intrinsic valuation that gets inflated while more and more people join the party, and you know what? It's just the beginning.
2254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 10 dollars into a million on: September 09, 2017, 03:13:35 PM
There's absolutely no harm if you could invest 10 bucks into different types of altcoins as well as ICOs each because they will surely turn into something huge in the near future because even if 3 out of 10 investments go 10x, then you are surely making something out of it and there's absolutely nothing to lose. But it is always better to search much about those coins before investing because that could save you from being scammed and ripped off from fraud investments.
2255  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Speculating A Bad Thing? on: September 08, 2017, 04:10:55 PM
Speculation is not a bad thing, thinking too much over it is. It's good if we have decided that we will put our money into something we believe that it will achieve the expected target some day soon, but then if we think too much and watch out every time it crashes and think to get out in panic when the price plummets with or without any reason then it's not fine at all. It's seriously great to believe, but the best part is to stick with it till we achieve it.
2256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: September 08, 2017, 03:56:51 PM
Instead of thinking to make real money disappear, why not devaluate it too much against Bitcoins by taking BTC higher and breaking fiat too much in front of it. Fiat and cryptocurrencies should go hand in hand in order to have all the things be worked out smoothly because something is needed to valuate Bitcoins, so why not fiat too?
2257  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What are the best exchanges to use? on: September 08, 2017, 03:17:20 PM
If you want to trade itself, then Localbitcoins is a better option because it is just a mediator and you and the other party will be the ones to settle your trades and LBC will act as an entity who holds everything on both the sides and will let you take your decisions once the doer party does their job.

For cryptos, Bittrex is the best if you are not bothered with a 0.001 fee per withdrawal, except the fee part everything is fine there as well as many coins get listed there and get pumped too. It's somewhat better than Poloniex and worth trying with some money to see if your luck works out.
2258  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin top 5000$ on: September 01, 2017, 05:14:15 PM
It doesn't look more as a bubble bursting level but rather is a barrier which if gets broken, may throw bitcoins over 2x its current value because nobody is concerned about 5k or no one is talking about any bubbles here but all they are looking for is a $10k bitcoin.
2259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 01, 2017, 04:52:55 PM
Sell this shit.  Undecided

Ah, just so you wanna buy it back for low, you want everyone to sell it for your freakin' satisfaction huh?
Go, grab some chips with beer man, you ain't never gotta get it down again.
Xmr is holding tight near .03 level and it's probably going to break its resistance over .035 which will create more room for it to get above .05, the price I am waiting for.
2260  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis on: September 01, 2017, 04:36:51 PM
i  believe $15000 is very possible ,and we will get there not very soon, maybe a lot of pumps and dumps ,but anyway , it is a longterm investment, maybe oneday we do not need to sell bitcoin anymore ,it can use everywhere just like dollars.

The person behind this prediction, i.e.; masterluc is known for his predictions since the 2013 gain and drop in price and I believe there's nothing wrong in believing because it was optimistic people's belief only which took Bitcoins to survive and succeed and nothing can succeed without hope. Bitcoin has always proved to be the most awful yet best method to earn money over your money by investing it into money itself.
