1241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for salary on: September 25, 2020, 08:13:53 PM
Legality of paying btc to your employees or anybody you want to, depends on the country you live in and the state of crypto there. To be very honest, there is nothing that can stop you from paying BTC to your workers, but you need their consent that they are interested in getting paid with BTC. You get paid in BTC, your campaign pays you after calculating your total payment in USD and then convert it to BTC based on its value at that time. I get paid the same way. So what's the problem?
1242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: THE MOST PAINFUL DAY IN MY BETTING CAREER on: September 20, 2020, 09:46:41 PM
I don't remember the exact date but the worst day 'night tbh' was when I had a BTC0.2 bet on 10 matches and I was going to win BTC20 but lost because of one match loss and at that time (in 2016), there was no 1 match insurance (like in Sportsbet) in the website I made this bet on.
1243  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin dont pay our billls we need passive income on: September 20, 2020, 09:32:14 PM
What is universal income, Op?
Do you want everything for free? I expect all the basic things, in which the most important one is food, to become highly affordable but not free because we should have its worth. Paying your bills with BTC has nothing to do with universal income because BTC is not an income generation machine or resource that you can use for your own good, it is a way to circulate our money without any intervention of these governments and when you used 'government' in your sentence, you should not have compared BTC to income. BTC is a tradable asset and incomes can't be called tradable as they are fixed in numbers, but BTC's gains and losses makes it different from income.
1244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Today IPL Match what is your opinion?? on: September 20, 2020, 09:21:14 PM
The umpire decision is the final and there is no challenge on it.  Cool

I agree that a new thread was not meant for this, but totally disagree with your statement that umpire's decision is final. They might have gone for third umpire if that umpire did not see that run clearly as the team cannot go for a 'Review' as it was declared a short run. I am not offended by KXIP's (and my) loss, but the way you said that umpire's decision is final, it isn't. Why do we have technology and what is its use when we are just going to believe our own eyes while having an issue in clearly watching which the umpire didn't see?
1245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Today IPL Match what is your opinion?? on: September 20, 2020, 08:33:13 PM
Quoting the image for you:

I watched the match closely and had a small bet with my friend, where I was supporting KXIP and he was with DC. The game turned after 15th over when that player Mayank Agrawal played stunning, but due to bad umpiring, KXIP lost. Yes, it can clearly be seen that it was not a short run, and that stupid decision of that umpire costed KXIP their game. Mayank should not have given his wicket, nor should Jordan have. What's so shocking was that, they didn't send Mayank in super over while knowing how easily he was able to beat the bowler, and sent the flop batsmen who didn't play during the start and just spoiled that guy's 89 runs.
1246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Dice Games and Yolodice . Best strategy?? on: September 20, 2020, 08:27:51 PM
90% means if you bet $1, you will get $1.1 if you win, right?
That 10% is still a risk if the dice rolls the other end where you don't expect it to roll. I know about small profits with big rolls but if they are going to give profits only, these sites will go bankrupt and so, at least one or two bad rolls come in surely. Putting half of your stash on each bet is too risky, and if you are a high roller on a site, you should not do more than 10% of your entire stash to save yourself from losing everything.
1247  Other / Archival / Re: [Merit] Help newbies and those who have a little left to the next rank on: September 20, 2020, 07:16:20 PM
Any system and rules will always try to abuse. And to take such cardinal measures, completely remove the number 0 from the number of applications is wrong in relation to other beginners who do not yet have a single merit. I have not just made a self-moderated theme, all spam requests I will remove. And of course I will look at the trust, so that the whole farms did not go here for the merit. All this will be deleted.

Very happy with the way you replied. I did not want to steal the opportunity from the hands of Newbies or brand new accounts as it was not my intention, I was just curious how that load came so quick in minutes. Only the better posters be ranking up, good luck with your work. Smiley

You gave a good example, and I don't think anyone can be judged with just 1 post even if they write too good a post. Instead of removing that 0, can't you add an extra criteria of a few 'number of posts' needed before they apply? Like 5, 10 or 20 posts in their account minimum?
1248  Economy / Reputation / Re: Confused in three accounts. on: September 20, 2020, 02:43:04 PM
Now no one listens to your complaint again here and in the end you admit it was the mistake you made.
I hope your day can be better than now, outside of this forum, if you don't create new account.

I bet he or she will make a new account for sure because they were here just for bounties. I think this should pull up the bars in Twitter campaigns. They did not admit, but they were both confusing us with their stupid comments. The only common similarity I see between both of them which is next to their bounty posts - their writing style. It is enough for me to say that these 2 accounts are of 1 person only. The girls on FB were also fake as they look like it's not a real identity and you can also use Google images, drag and drop those images and find many accounts).
1249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why government Don't kill btc? on: September 19, 2020, 08:32:08 PM
Kill Btc?
Btc has got a physical body? Since when? /sarcasm
How can it be killed when it is not even alive?
Few governments hold Btc (not governments but few members of some governments), Btc is now in the hands of many high-rated people who will not let these governments do that because governments know that they need them (the rich guys) for their country and their own pleasure for money. People like us are involved in this in a very large number now that stopping has gone out of fashion.

Have the farms received a call to action?

It seems that the news has hit the farms, and that they are literally taking this thread as a giveaway and not as a resort to help some accounts that may go unnoticed for whatever reason, yet (I believe) under the spirit is that of the merit system: having made some sort of decent posting history. This last emphasised part seems perhaps a need to be made explicit, as the implicit spirit is being ignored …

That was the same thought struck on my mind. I recently started seeing many users began writing a lot. Some are trying to make their profiles look very professionally handled by them. @Ratimov, your cause is very good but I think you should remove the number 0 from your rules as Brand new accounts are going to attack this thread including account farmers.

My statement will only make those users butthurt who don't believe in their work, else getting their 1st merit should not be a big deal for them.
1251  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Does a smart wallet exist? on: September 19, 2020, 08:07:11 PM
Smart wallet? Are you looking for a smart watch that holds your private key and notify you every time you receive some coins and whenever you make a transaction? I think you should check out ledger wallet for such experience of getting notified for your transactions received on the address that the ledger wallet holds.
1252  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM Alert] 10,000,000 UNI Fake Giveaway on: September 19, 2020, 07:45:29 PM
This was going to happen taking into account that various trader's who traded on Uniswap before Sep 1, 2020 are being gifted with generous rewards of 400 UNI per account. People who have seen old scams should not have fallen for this and thode who sent them, please RIP your UNI as you have lost a gem.
1253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happened? on: September 19, 2020, 07:36:30 PM
They shut down their casino in early 2016. Most likely because they couldn't attract enough players to keep their business running and from their latest posts back then, it is obvious that there were too many bugs on their platform.
By googling their name, this is the only relevant result I could find:
https://forum.bitcoingambling.io/threads/has-the-luckyflop-eu-bitcoin-poker-site-shutdown.23/

well, my perception is different towards the user
What if the account changed hands?

Actually that's quite possible too but we cannot really know without an evidence or as long as the (new) owner doesn't do something stupid. (like starting to post in a local board which he didn't post before)

Or even start asking for loans?
Can't they be asked to sign a message with an old address just so to let them prove their ownership of the account (not necessary but it will remove doubts from our minds). Now you will ask that who are we? Consider ourselves as common people.
1254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is good strategy or technique for Toss Coin? on: September 19, 2020, 06:44:59 PM
When it comes to the probability of winning comparing both coin toss and a dice game then if we do deal with physical aspect then chances would be different but if you do talk about dice in online game in 2x multiplier set compared to coin toss online which does have 50% chance. Then they will really be differing on the house edge being set.

Oops, I forgot about the house edge. But if a coin flip is being offered online without any random generator being used, won't the website be using this house edge strategy against its users? Or if this coin flipping is done on a casino, then a house edge definitely applies?

Coin toss does only have 50-50 chance of winning.I wouldnt say that martingale is much safe on this one but at least we can presume that flipping a coin on having a head result would last for 20 flips
which is kind of impossible for you to think when it comes to possibilities.

You did not get my point there. I said that every time you flip, may it be head or tail and the flipping always gives you the opposite results either due to being rigged or some other mechanism, doubling your bet every time will get you ripped off in no time.

1255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happened? on: September 19, 2020, 06:29:55 PM
I felt very sad seeing this thread as we are obviously discussing someone's failure. @cabalism13, no offense, don't get me wrong for my words but there were many businesses I know of, which were popular in early days but went missing due to funding issues.
well, my perception is different towards the user, Am really amazed for his guts for joining a competitor's campaign despite of having a failed Project, or maybe he was long doing this after that,... it takes a lot of guts IMO, and setting aside the pride that you have to start once again. But i think he doesn't plan to.

End is not a failure, but a new beginning and if he has got the guts to turn his failure into a finding, get up again and move ahead with a new beginning, then nothing else can be better than that. I know that finding a reputed and established business owner working for some other business some day and then we come to know about their circumstances, we have nothing but 👏
1256  Other / Meta / Re: Hero Member banned permanently for pilgarism on: September 18, 2020, 09:21:42 PM
But then you ruined your chances by evading the ban. It's not a good example to set if you are seeking a second chance.

Ruined what? Their chances?
You think they even had a 0.001% chance of getting a chance to get unbanned on Bitcointalk? Not even a 0.00000001 btc (satoshi) worth of chance was there.

1257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happened? on: September 18, 2020, 09:07:10 PM
Managing a casino is a serious business. Most people think it as a passive income where you just set up your money printer and forget but it is nowhere close.

You are right mate. Nobody understands that a business needs too much patience and dedication to succeed, and when it is about casino, it is all about money the company has in their hands. I felt very sad seeing this thread as we are obviously discussing someone's failure. @cabalism13, no offense, don't get me wrong for my words but there were many businesses I know of, which were popular in early days but went missing due to funding issues.
1258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VR online casino games take gambling to the new level 🚀 on: September 18, 2020, 08:56:47 PM
Do you really think there is a big difference for a casino game between 3D pictures on a screen and on VR glasses? It's not a formula one game, so I'm not sure it's essential but yes VR glasses in bonus would be a pretty good idea.

Isn't it true that phone brands with VR mode like Lenovo can already provide us with this facility and we just need to use a VR glass to see it big? My question is - If I am playing any games, say Baccarrat and want to bet on player or banker but my phone is attached to the VR glass, how will I place a bet without being able to touch the screen?
1259  Economy / Gambling / Re: TOP 10 Crypto Casinos 2020 | CryptoVegas.xyz | Casino Reviews on: September 18, 2020, 08:25:31 PM
We have our own knowledge if we will follow their reviews or not so no issue at all. This applies to other review sites as well.

I am not worried about us who already know about their reviews and rankings, but it is about spreading false information according to their 'criteria' and newbies may visit their website and follow their instructions which might turn out to be dangerous to their money if the sites suggested by them turn out to be scam.
1260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is good strategy or technique for Toss Coin? on: September 18, 2020, 08:10:29 PM
This still holds a 50% probability of winning while 50% of it making you lose and that is the same when you roll a dice between a given range and set your profit at 2x. Martingale or any strategy, did they ever work in dice games before? If you tend to play a game where chances are that the odds will change every moment the side of the coin you choose, and you lose every time, then martingale will not save you from going bankrupt off your capital you have on that site.
