Through no fault of his own, a packet of stickers I ordered from canton have traveled around the world, ending up in Mexico more than six months after I ordered them and another two months before they arrived here in Australia today.

The envelope is clearly addressed and postmarked last year (2015), however, other than the Mexican import stamp there is no guide as to where the envelope went, or how it came to my PO Box opened (multiple times judging by the amount of tape) BUT it's contents are intact.

Now that is a pretty cool story. I would have given up on it months ago.
How the hell it actually got to you in the end with its' contents still inside is a feat in itself.

..oh and btw, you do realise that this thread is over 2 years old? Cheesy

ahahahaha... well that is certainly an opening bid to be taken seriously.

This one is going to be fun.
2244  Economy / Collectibles / Re: AUCTION: Dual Cryptocurrency, BTC+ETH(front and back) on: July 22, 2016, 09:32:36 AM
Oh my..  Shocked

That is an absolute beast of a coin, if you could even call it that - more like a plate Grin

~20 Troy oz of silver?! Precious gemstones... You went all out with this OP Grin

Well, this should be interesting to say the least.

You need to set some rules for your auction, start time, end time, bid increments, whether bids must be in both BTC and ETH? Also if this will end at a fixed time, or whether bids in last x minutes of auction increase duration by x minutes. Escrow available with a trusted member?

On that note, good luck with this!

Wow  Shocked

Looking forward to it!   Grin

Awesome Smiley

Thanks for this miner. Can we pick slots now?
If so, I'll take slot #7, same number as I am in your list Wink

Thanks BTCC and mj for the freebie!
2246  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Introducing Supreme BTC " Signature Series" In honor of bitcointalk/Halving on: July 21, 2016, 11:52:17 PM
Where are the coins being minted and are those the final designs?  I'm wondering how good the coin quality is going to be versus the photos that are being shown.  Smiley

Also, is the glare going to be present on the coin or is that just a photo effect?  It almost looks like a blurred picture of a street at night.

Mint cannot be declared ( our little secret for now) & yes these are the final designs as stated in OP. Production begins next week ( week of the 25th of July ).

Glare is just a photo effect but we can say that we've seen many example coins from the mint we chose. We are extremely happy with their quality  Smiley

I'd just like to clear up a couple more issues please Smiley

The Custom Name, what is the character limit please?

Also, are you going to be supplying holograms? This is half the point of buying coins to me, to have an awesome, unique hologram on the back.
I'm sure I'm not alone in this.
Holograms, especially premium ones, are especially difficult, and expensive for the customer to buy.
I'm certainly not buying crappy ones off of eBay.

Also, I would like to see some pictures of the actual coins, just prototypes, before I send money direct to you.
Once SebastianJu confirms everything is up to scratch, I'll happily pay him.

Thank you.

~z

I will also take #25 and #75.
Any way I could steal the #25 set from you? Kiss

Hmmm, give me some time to think over it Smiley I'm not usually fortunate enough to be watching the forum when new coins are listed, so I was glad to grab these, and leave all the low numbers for everyone else to grab.

BTW, PM me. I think I have found your #33 Wink
2247  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Calling you forth, Coinographic on: July 21, 2016, 10:20:06 PM
Mark still owes me alot of coin. I have still to receive 2 gold 1OZ coins, 3 silver 2OZ coins, and he emptied 1 25LTC coin that I still own. (That totals about 7000€ +, only counting current face value, 0 premium)

I really want to do something about it. I'm in Belgium. But unfortunately I don't have alot of funds and time to do something about it, with the risk of not getting anything back.

Anyone have tips of what I can do? Or if someone has a plan of making him account for his wrongdoings, I want to help out/participate. (In legal fashion)

I hate to say it, but there is little to zero chance whatsoever that you'll ever see the coins you have paid for. Mark Hamilton has gone quiet, he's somewhere in the UK, but I have no idea where.

You may have legal recourse but what are the chances you'll even get anything out of it? Don't forget, just like your 25LTC, he sweeped the private key from every single coin, including 1LTC...

Good luck getting your money back from someone who does such things.

Thanks again, everyone. It was fun. Smiley

*crosses fingers* please have my last #006!

If #006 is in my box, you can have it for 0.05 Smiley Same goes for everyone else with numbers needed for completing sets. The whole point of me bidding was to help the community finish theirs. I haven't collected these, and I'm not in this for a profit, recouping my BTC is good enough for me.

There's a good chance I will come out negative anyway haha, but I don't mind.

@ MRBONG411 - Payment sent

Edit: I need to edit this and say 0.06 - my brain wasn't working. - talk about an apt amount haha Smiley

Crap. Totally forgot to place a bid Sad. Congrats Zepher!

Why, thank you Smiley

I think I actually got really lucky with this auction, for the last hour until the end I was just waiting for someone to pop a bid in and extend it by another 24hrs.. Huh

Definitely lucky Cheesy

I did not even consider the editing part but would rather post here than the auction section.

Am a fan of sniping auctions myself so that is why I have them end at a certain time but what I will probably do for my next auction is just make it last bid placed in 15 minutes.

So the auction would end at say 10:00 PM and if no one else places a last bid then by 10:15 PM it closes. If someone does bid after then each time it would be extended 15 minutes until there are no more bids.

Would that be a little more fair and open for everyone?

I would be happy with that.

The last minute rush of a sniping auction causes people to go a little crazy, and make errors as a result, myself included  Cheesy

They are nice to have as a change, but I think some 'rules' about editing posts at the end need to be discussed - as we have seen, it can cause an issue. People may not realise in the heat of the moment. Editing posts in an auction shouldn't be allowed as per the Auction section, gets trickier here.

those problems could be easely avoided, in posting Auctions in "Auctions section" ( as posts cant be edited in this specific part of the forum ...)  Wink

I used to like the auction section but now it has so many user accounts auctions it just clutters it all up.

Precisely the problem with the auction section, it gets cluttered up with accounts for sale, at a pretty constant rate at that.

Will do.
Though I'm considering leaving the box sealed until all others have been opened, and then using my position to extort you all later on Tongue Kiss jk Smiley

Fair enough, no worries, I just happened to notice it. Not a fan of auctions being held here since posts can be edited, but I like to think we are all equally fair members, so thanks for the explanation and thanks for mrbong holding it! Cheesy

Edit congrats zepher hopefully you will post what you got in the trading thread from MJ! Smiley

thanks!

I should not have even been awake, it was 4am... Cheesy
I have taken up MRBONG411s offer of a box. Contents to be disclosed at a later date Tongue
2257  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Introducing Supreme BTC " Signature Series" In honor of bitcointalk/Halving on: July 21, 2016, 03:12:39 AM
I will have sets #14 and #15 for all flavours Smiley

They are yours!

Please Pm or post Tx Id: & names for the coins  Smiley

Gimme a couple of days to think about the name and payment Wink

And where is the chosen signature going to be located on the coin?

Also dunno about others but it's not like I can get holos just like that, for the price no chance to include numbered holos on the coins?
Or if the coins are numbered (engraved) just some simple ones to go with them?

One more thing, maybe others here know you, but payment before actual pics of the coins is a bit unusual.
What do others think?

These are all good points. Please go through all the points raised in coin@coins post.

I'm not sure I'm prepared to pay until we see actual pictures of what we are buying either.
While I have reserved numbers I can't help but feel the lack of holograms is extremely off putting.

Wait... Wait. You edited this post, as you originally underbid MJ.  Roll Eyes

Is that allowed? No foul suggested, but I did see it .. thanks

Yes I did, the previous bid was 0.281. I thought I still had time, and I actually should have made a fresh post in hindsight. I apologise for that. Feel free to disqualify the bid Smiley

No foul play was intended btw, it was the 'last' second rush, if you know what I mean. I was still in time. Only just, but still in time.

But again, if I have broken any rules, this bid may of course be invalidated.
