It appears someone got to my priority targets in the waiver wire first before me hehehe. Who got Geno Smith and Taysom Hill? We should start accepting the reality that Geno Smith is more than an average quarterback. It might be only for this season, however, he is a good addition.

Also, there are rumors that the Panthers might be trading some of their players after firing Matt Rhule. The rumors also say that the Buffalo Bills are asking about McCaffrey. The Bills are known to have interest on McCaffrey during the offseason.

@Rikafip. Yes it appears that some people in social media are overexcited in discovering some known names in the list hehe. There were also other names in the list that had similar names with some known maximalists in the bitcoin community like John Carvalho and Jonas Schnelli. Peter McCormack was also very quick in criticizing Carvalho with the wrong information hehehehe.
2243  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-06-17] Bitcoin mining becomes unprofitable as BTC price falls on: October 12, 2022, 06:17:32 AM
@DaveF. However, will those miners of Ethereum shutdown easily and accept the loss? They can continue to mine other coins like Ethereum Classic and the Ethereum proof of work chain which is also presently being supported by exchanges. Binance has funded a new mining pool for ETHW to continue support for the miners.

@SFR10. I disagree, Ethereum miners might not take the risk of selling their hardware to buy Bitcoin miners and compete with Bitcoin miners. It would be less risky to mine other coins.
2244  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-08-09] Iran makes first import order using cryptocurrency on: October 11, 2022, 03:57:05 AM
@NeuroticFish. However, we should be careful. Similar to Elon Musk, none of them should be trusted. Those types of people will support bitcoin as long as it is very convenient and beneficial for them. Also, the way they act, they might be thinking the community is full of stupid cryptobros. Have you seen Max Keiser act in conferences? Head shaking and everyone is cheering for him. They might have forgotten that he created a pump and dump called Maxcoin.

This news article should also be cause for skepticsm on Bukele.

Public officials and private individuals close to the president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, have been linked to a money-laundering scheme involving Venezuelan state oil company PDVSA, according to a recent report.

According to the report published by Washington DC-based thinktank IBI Consultants, Bukele and his inner circle received up to $2 million in loans, either in a personal capacity or through companies related to Alba Petróleos, a PDVSA subsidiary in El Salvador. Additionally, it states that this money was part of a massive money-laundering scheme carried out in Venezuela, El Salvador, the United States and Panama, among other countries.

2245  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-06-17] Bitcoin mining becomes unprofitable as BTC price falls on: October 11, 2022, 03:45:17 AM
but i hear the news that bitcoin hash rate keep to touching new ATH day by day you can see the news here
https://cointelegraph.com/news/not-a-minor-adjustment-bitcoin-mining-difficulty-soars-13-5-to-new-ath

it seems the miner from eth move to bitcoin

@dansus021. You have heard wrong or you are inventing stories. How can Ethereum miners move and mine Bitcoin? The mining algorithms are not the same!

In any case, if the hashrate is increasing, then it appears that miners think that the market will pump or there might be some large mining farms that found cheaper sources of electricity. It might also be what I have been speculating. Illegal mining hehehe.
2246  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto lender Celsius mulls possible restructuring amid financial woes on: October 11, 2022, 02:30:25 AM
Huh, people are getting creative with that file so someone made a website that shows how much each person has (had) on Celsius and even made leaderboard according to which top loser had ~40 million USD.
https://celsiusnetworth.com/

Check Zaryn Dentzel's 7th on this list. btw. about them: https://www.newsweek.com/bitcoin-millionaire-zaryn-dentzel-beaten-fortune-stolen-masked-robbery-cryptocurrency-1645550

this is even more twisted though
I find on Reddit https://cases.stretto.com/public/x191/11749/PLEADINGS/1174910062280000000005.pdf
on the 34th page, click on the first letter of your first name. it will open new documents where you can find your name. Of course, all Celsius users which passed KYC and with some value on the account.
addresses are redacted, but it seems that it is not difficult to connect them with real owners.

There might be other names in the list that might be very disappointing to see for the bitcoin community if the data are true. Does anyone know Jason Lowery? I saw him being mentioned in social media as a laser eyes, there is no second best, never touching shitcoins type of holder. It might only be a person with the same name, however. We cannot be certain with less known people.

I found this screenshot in social media. A similar search would give only $0.55 lost.

2247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: October 11, 2022, 01:08:57 AM
I am not watching the game, but upon checking this score is shocking. 14-0 for the Raiders and it is only in the 2nd quarter.

Also, what does this mean for Christian McCaffrey? Does this change the Panther's way of playing? The defensive passing game coordinator will also be interim coach. Defensive. I am afraid defensive might imply less snaps for my running back hehehehe.

Once a hot $62 million hire, Matt Rhule fired during third season as Panthers coach

Rhule ended up being an expensive mistake for Panthers owner David Tepper. Before the third season of that deal was done, Rhule was fired. The Panthers announced the move on Monday morning. Rhule was 11-27 as Panthers coach. A listless 37-15 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday dropped the Panthers to 1-4 this season and was Rhule's final game as the team's coach. Rhule is the first coach fired this NFL season.

Carolina also fired defensive coordinator Phil Snow and assistant special teams coach Ed Foley.

Defensive passing game coordinator and secondary coach Steve Wilks, who coached the Arizona Cardinals for one season, will be the team's interim coach.

@ETFbitcoin. Agreed. It might not be something that was intended to be a leak, however, similar to a real leak, it is still a breach of privacy.

We would also never feel the negative effects of this breach because our names are not in the list. However, if they were, I am quite certain none of us would question that the information in this court filing will potentially put some people's lives in danger. I am not only talking about the names and details of the people in the list. I am implying that it has also become known by many financial institutions that those people deposited their money in a ponzi like Celsius. An example of a negative effect would be a drop in their credit rating and make them disqualified to get a mortgage or a loan. It might also appear during a background check if they apply for a job. They might be considered high risk.
2249  Economy / Speculation / Re: Countertrading Jim Cramer on Bitcoin on: October 10, 2022, 04:53:09 AM
@OgNasty. I reckon Jim Cramer should use the lessons of Sun Tzu's the art of war and confuse his enemies. He should begin countering his own predictions and speculations then share them in social media hehehe. If his haters begin doing the inverse Cramer trades, they will be making head scratching decisions.
2250  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-10-07] Visa partners with FTX on: October 10, 2022, 04:19:56 AM
Although FTX starting - sooner or later - to offer Bitcoin (and maybe other crypto) related debit cards worldwide is pretty much normal and probably expected by some of FTX customers, I find interesting that it's said that "Visa partners with FTX" and not the other way around and I find interesting that FTX partnership is directly with Visa and not a 3rd party provider like we've seen in the "previous generation" of crypto cards.
Clearly, FTX is moving in the direction to compete (someday) with Binance.

It might be a similar type of partnership that Visa has with banks. It is a direct partnership that recognizes FTX as a legitimate financial institution. I reckon Visa might be more willing to work with FTX because Sam and his team has been very busy working with regulators in complying with the proper licenses. Binance used to avoid regulations before CZ accepted the reality that it is impossible. FTX is very much ahead of them in compliance, however. There might be some regulators that do not want to talk with CZ because he avoided them before hehehe.

We should officially rename NFC LEAST to NFC BEAST!

Eagles are the only unbeaten team in the league, Giants absolutely rolling, Cowboys 3-1 playing with their backup QB...

Agreed. It is very much 100% the opposite of what this division was during the season of 2020-2021 when the Washington Redskins was on the top only because all of the other teams had worse records hehe. The Eagles was on the bottom with a record of 4-11-1 hehehe!

I am beginning to be worried about Tyreek Hill now after speculations that Miami might also put Bridgewater in IR because of an elbow injury. There was also news of a concussion. Mike McDaniels should have also brought Jimmy G with him hehehehe.
2252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 09, 2022, 04:35:17 AM
@notblox1. Also, chicken legs had the worst of his performances in the octagon versus Thiago Santos and Dominic Reyes. The last 2 of his fights. I also speculate that chicken legs might be bankrupt and he is only waiting to collect his last paycheck. This might be why he is waiting for Francis Ngannou because it will pay him his biggest paycheck.

The fight will also work for the UFC because if Ngannou will win, the next storyline is Ngannou will be the next pound for pound goat. If Ngannou is hyped to be the pound for pound goat, he will sell more tickets and he will be paid more money my uncle Dana hehe. The fans will also be happy to watch hehehehe.
2253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: October 09, 2022, 02:22:11 AM
@wheelz1200. Hehehe however, unluckily for me I have no other choices except to start Raheem Mostert as my flex option. He is my best player for the role for the week if we compare him with my players who are left on the bench. There is an argument to use Cam Akers for flex, but the Rams are playing vs. the 49ers who are one of the best teams in rushing defense in the league after week 4.

Mostert has also been getting more snaps than Chase Edmonds for the past 2 weeks. This might not change for more weeks, I reckon.
2254  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 up to 20% cashback🔥up to 20% rakeback 🚨 instant withdrawals on: October 08, 2022, 06:32:48 AM
I might finally check out the casino after reading this.
That's great to have a "blackjack specialist" as slaman29 is calling you, here on the forum. But it would be even greater if you could share some of your experience with us. What is your favorite blackjack game? What is the best provider for blackjack games according to you? It seems you were playing at blackjack.fun before, why are you looking for another casino, if it's not too intrusive?

Blackjack.fun was straight up blackjack, no fancy stuff, no side betting, no live dealer, but it was VERY fast, very small limits of 100 satoshi and a very high max bet that I could remember.

Most important was dealer HIT on soft 17, and I believe this made it so that house edge was something like 0.4%, which is the smallest of any Blackjack.

He's looking because as explained above, rewards have become very low, but more importantly if you check his history, he doesn't want KYC at all, which is what happened at Blackjack.fun.

It would be nice to see IndependentGambler play here and compete in multiple tournaments, I tried to ask support regarding KYC
unfortunately it is not certain whether KYC will be implemented or not it's totally based on the player's activity while $2000 is not the main benchmark
Even if he withdraws more than $2000 does not automatically have to go through KYC unless the transaction activity is suspicious, I mean an indication of money laundering.

An occasional withdrawal of $2k will not alert the site, I reckon. This amount still is 5x far from the amount of $10k where the site must comply with KYC and AML regulations and report any transactions exceeding $10k.

This article is about KYC and AML requirements on money service businesses, cryptocurrency exchanges and custodian services, however, compliance requirements might also be similar for online gambling sites.

Also, this is nothing problematic if you did not do anything illegal. Similar to fiat gambling services, KYC has also become a regular procedure for gambling services in the cryptospace.

AML programs need to stipulate what KYC information will be collected, as well as appoint a compliance officer to monitor and oversee transactions. To stay compliant, AML programs must be able to identify and report suspicious activity and file Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) for transactions in excess of $10,000.

I  tried to watch today's game, I really did. Unbearable puntfest. Even beer didn't fix it. I give up.

Worst game of the year.  Honestly Russell Wilson looks like shit.  Denver looks like they are going to be a bottom of the barrel team.  Of course their starting rb goes on the IR.  My teams in fantasy this year have all went to the trash heap.  I hate injuries lol.  But yeah what a snoozefest that was.

It appears I saved myself from wasting time. I reckon the game would only be watched from the beginning to the end in excitement if someone made a bet with his whole life savings and his car on either of those teams?

@ChiBitCTy. You did not like Raheem Mostert, I will be holding him for you hehehe. I am speculating that he will be getting more snaps with Bridgewater as QB1. He will be a good flex option also or an RB2 in some weeks.
2256  Economy / Speculation / Re: Countertrading Jim Cramer on Bitcoin on: October 08, 2022, 04:53:52 AM
It appears that it was not only the people from social who has noticed about Jim Cramer's bad predictions and bad declarations. Tuttle Capital Management has filed for an application to create and list an Inverse Cramer ETF hehehehe. This might cause Jim Cramer to be more careful in his predictions.

Inverse Cramer ETF becomes reality

Tuttle Capital Management has filed to launch two ETFs going short and long the views of celebrity analyst Jim Cramer.

that pdf with everyones name/entity reminds me of the mtgox leak.. doxxed everyone, basically.

shitshow is an understatement.

I have not entered the cryptospace when Mtgox had their own leaks and problems. However, I read some articles and I have heard about some people's bad experiences.

Also, agreed! It is a big understatement. It is a breach of privacy and those users will certainly be in a list somewhere for scammers and darknet criminals. The IRS and other government agencies might also be studying the list hehehe.
2258  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Did Binance Just Make KYC Process More Private? on: October 07, 2022, 04:58:56 AM
Stupid move meant to fool gullible users into believing that their personal data is now safer, yet it not the case. They are using the NFT buzzword because they know that lots of noobs would wet their pants on just hearing the word.

Nothing new here, Binance and Cz have always come up with "innovations" that are just copied and pasted from somewhere else, and then eventually they die out as the hype reduces.

We should not be very disapproving about new developments in the cryptospace. Very much similar when bitcoin was created and developed, many people misunderstood it. NFTs might be in a similar type of situation. I agree that much of the NFTs that are presently minted are worthless, however, this does not imply that NFTs will never have any good use cases.

I predict that the next great crypto phenomenon that will bring millions of new adopters in the cryptospace will be through NFTs.
2259  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-06-28] Bitcoin mining revenue mirrors 2021 lows, right before BTC breached on: October 07, 2022, 03:48:08 AM
It appears mining revenue for the most efficient of miners will break even only if bitcoin continues to go down on $10k, according to Wes Cummins the CEO of Applied Blockchain. I am not quite certain if he is really an expert on bitcoin mining, however, assuming that what he has said is true, bitcoin is presently very safe from the mining death spiral.

So if Bitcoin continues to go down, the most inefficient operators are going to go offline, the more efficient operators make more tokens from their hardware, so it’s a little bit self-correcting. But that’s kind of the levels. $10,000-ish right now, depending on your hardware or you electricity costs, is the variable break-even, and $20,000 is the break-even to buy new hardware, or even a little bit above that.

There is an article that was published in a mainstream media outlet saying that Celsius executives have withdrawn at least $17 million of their money before freezing withdrawals for their customers. However, this is not the only problem. It appears Celsius has also made public a court document containing all their users' names, transaction times, and amounts of deposits and withdrawals. This is certainly a very serious breach of privacy.

Gizmodo has uploaded the latest Celsius court filing, which totals over 14,000 pages, to the Internet Archive for anyone who really wants to get into the nitty gritty of the bankruptcy case. It appears the filing is so large because it seems to have the names and recent transactions of every user on the platform.
