2241  Economy / Economics / Re: Technology is rendering the fiat money system of the 20th Century obsolete on: November 16, 2020, 05:53:36 PM
Despite this article I do believe that technology cannot replace fiat , no matter what , since yo achieve a notion where fiat has been replaced we would need to have technological perquisites in every home and at the same time for that we need to end : poverty , hunger and educate people about the same since more than half of the population won't be able to use it as easily they are able to use fiat. Fiat system won't disappear because we also have the solve the issue of the need of internet everywhere. What if there was a light out due to excessive Storm and you had to buy stuff. How would you do that Huh

I think before this we do need some answers for sure.
1. Making payments without the need of internet
2. How to involve each and everyone

2242  Economy / Gambling / Re: Be Aware Phishing Roobet.com on: November 16, 2020, 04:54:37 PM
That's really helpful , I remember the time I contacted the wrong trading company just because there was another *a* in the website of the scammers.

Thank you so much for sharing this since most of the newbies and people would have for sure lost some money here. The site looks so close to the real one.

Just for clarification : https://roobet.com/ this is the real site and therefore please be careful while going on google and finding out the variants.

I hope roobet.com will look further into this matter and get the site down as soon as possible, this is really serious.
2243  Economy / Economics / Re: Asia-Pacific nations sign world’s biggest trade pact on: November 16, 2020, 04:06:15 PM
China and 14 other countries have agreed to form the world’s largest free trade bloc, encompassing nearly a third of all economic activity.  Without USA, EU or Russia.

https://www.aljazeera.com/economy/2020/11/15/rcep-15-asia-pacific-nations-set-worlds-biggest-trade-pact

One third of worlds economy can work on their own by itself. If we add influence they have over Africa, this is by far strongest free trade bloc that will be almost impossible to challenge in the future.

Now the problem would be how favourable the conditions would be for everyone who are involved in the same. I do believe that if they are cutting of the influence of the big countries then it's going to be really good for the small and developing countries which are most of the times taken advantage of and thus this would help them to get justifiable exchange prices.

The free trade alliance that China has made with 14 countries is indeed a common thing, China will continue to build other economic alliances with many countries in order to continue to develop its power in the economic field.  In fact, we all know that only China is capable of printing state revenue up to double digits.  China also controls trade in the world so this policy will continue to have an impact on China's power itself.  When viewed for the other 14 countries, this policy is a challenge, because they must be able to compete with Chinese goods themselves.

But at the same people have started avoiding chinese goods because of their poor quality. Even some countries like India have started advertising campaigns like : Make in India and such.
Despite this China have the lowest priced goods .
But they also exploit the workers at the same time , pay them even lower than the minimum set wage.

The formation of this alliance cannot be separated from China's main goal of controlling 90% of world trade. This shows that the level of China's seriousness in controlling the market is really a consideration for the European Union, America and Russia. China makes alliances with Asian countries because these countries have a large debt to China. thus becoming a pretext for China to unite in full force. I think countries outside of China will not remain silent. there will be a big war in the crypto market.

They are even using debt to control the military power of these countries somehow. It's sad how they are trying to be the dictators of the whole world.
2244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Lightning network working? on: November 16, 2020, 02:12:41 PM
See this question is actually variable depending upon :
1. For what time you are going to store your coins there
2. How much amount are you transferring
3. Which specific wallet do you plan on using ?

This would be different for different people. If you do use a trusted wallet and don't use the same for holding your coins for a long time then I do believe then it's safe for a person to engage in the lighting network.

You have to be extra careful with cyber security and make sure you take into account the reviews of the wallet and everything.

It's amazing for shops and businesses which have just started using Bitcoins and therefore I do believe that you have to actually give us more information regarding how you want to use it and for what purpose ?

Use it ! It's good ! But don't store your coins there.
2245  Other / Archival / Re: CitiBank & Report about Bitcoin: 21st Century Gold on: November 16, 2020, 11:26:13 AM
This is really positive if the director of city bank is saying things like this since most of the time it's negative news about Bitcoins and then people get wrongly informed.

But even that aside.

I do believe that it's worth more than gold in the time of the pandemic. Some reasons :

1. We are seeing this positive uptrend which is beneficial for the holders giving them a passive income
2. People are able to continue their jobs online for example : signature campaigns where they are paid in Bitcoins , now it wouldn't have been possible without crypto and a good social network
3. Trading is earning people income even during the low tides
4. Even governmental bodies are earning profit through Bitcoins and their online gambling sites , now this is even contributing in the economic growth.

I would for sure have some Bitcoins in contrast to gold of the same value since I know that for sure that Bitcoins are here to stay and it's not just at the time of inflation of the price that we should realize it's importance but all year long I believe it have supported various business and even helped in charity events during the time of pandemic.

This is just the citybank's director realizing it's importance now.
2246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 6 countries have more than 50% of BTC exchange traffic on: November 16, 2020, 10:22:01 AM
The data keeps on changing every now and then and at the same time it's difficult to keep a track of this , right now I do believe that the countries listed here are actively involving themselves in Bitcoins.
On the other hand there are countries where people hold the most number of Bitcoins for example:
USA
Romania
China
Spain
Switzerland
South Korea
Then we have countries with the most number of mining farms like :
Russia
China
Iceland
USA
Switzerland
Now these statistical data is taken from google from various websites but there is no way of telling how accurate that is. One should understand for a fact that these countries are actively involving themselves doesn't necessarily mean that they are bitcoin friendly countries. If we do have to take a country into account which is massively involved with cryptocurrencies I do believe we would have to take everything into account here.

But that's good that some developing countries are also involving themselves in Bitcoins.
2247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Gang uses crypto for illegal purposes on: November 16, 2020, 12:19:27 AM
In china the government reported a case where a gambling Gang as they stated were using cryptocurrencies to transfer funds abroad. According to them trillions of yuan's are illegally being transferred abroad due to gambling.

It's really illegal here in our country we have an specific amount of money that you can transfer out of the country legally, there is an additional and you have to secure permit if you want big funds.

Quote
Now they are making this bigger by saying how these cryptocurrencies and gambling are making it harder to track the transactions. BUT ! Isn't it easier to track these transactions as compared to fiat ??
If they use Mixer it will be hard to track these transactions, fiat can easily track than Cryptocurrency because they have to use illegal means to transport the fiat

Quote
Shouldn't the Chinese authorities in lieu of the statement where they say that they are illegally transporting trillions of yuan's online , make the gambling legal and make sure to have well established rules instead of putting a hand out on the whole industry ?

unfortunately China is a communist country and they want to have control on everything, although they have territories where gambling is legal, these are just for tourist and and their cash cow as well

That's actually very good to hear since you have more of a personal experience with this.  I do believe that the government is too uptight about this whole thing, they have to understand for a fact that people won't actually stop doing something if they want to and that thing is supposedly illegal.

The fact is , you have to understand for a fact that they can regulate it and at the same time it would earn good revenues for the government. One question for you: as a person living where the gambling is illegal , if you have to access it somehow do you use Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies ?? Or do you prefer to engage in local gambling ??

Plus many sites are banning VPN usage so how does it affect you ?

In my opinion, the Chinese government controls its population too tightly, therefore many Chinese people are more comfortable developing
businesses outside of China. Then regarding the gambling gang that uses cryptocurrency to send money abroad, it is considered to be carrying
out illegal activities. That's because China has long considered gambling illegal. Therefore, if Chinese people want to play gambling, they should
go to Macau. But what I wonder why the Chinese government blames online casinos if they find people from China who are involved in online
gambling, even though online casinos should not be held accountable.

They should legalized gambling because there are actually high number of Chinese gamblers. So they can get money from them instead of giving the income outside of their country. They should not blame online casinos as they are just doing their business. If they are more practical on this industry, they will be reaping income from their own citizens.  There are so many casinos owned by Chinese outside their country because of their strict regulations. So it means, they are throwing their potential source of income.

Yes that's the whole thing, the government is too uptight about this.
2248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Quantum Computer Will Destroy Bitcoin on: November 15, 2020, 06:29:33 PM
Quantum computers won't destroy Bitcoins
Some reasons for my arguments:
1. Government websites and their softwares are far too vulnerable when it comes to **being destroyed by quantum computers** , so they won't allow these devices to be handled inappropriately but rather their distribution will be highly regulated.
2. They are going to be hella expensive so not like everyone around the corner is going to buy them.
3. Companies and people alike are researching on post Quantum cryptography which means in few years we might have foolproof plan against them.

Therefore I do believe we might find some answers in the future and at the same time the government would for sure regulate it highly like they regulate everything :'))
2249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 15, 2020, 06:00:00 PM
There are gamblers which are actually winning a lot and some of them are taking it professionally. You should understand for a fact that these are the tactics that the gambling industry uses. These kind of things are halted to a certain extent when we are using the online casinos.

The vibrant colors
The free food
The encashing machine too inside the casino that you are tempted to go for another round
Small small winnings after a series of losses

These kind of things are very common and therefore you have to understand for a fact that the industry uses your senses to make money : smell , sight , mind , music , taste , drinks , they all make you incapable of of making good decisions.

But if you study about it and if you are well informed then for sure you can win the game ! It's not a universal rule that you will loose.

This is a very interesting video for me ' try and watch it for learning the facts.
2250  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain And Sport Industry: Are They An Effective Team? on: November 15, 2020, 05:24:58 PM
Hello
I did try to read as much as I can but I believe that's a real good work on analyzing how it can be used. Now I would like to express my opinion.
I believe blockchain and cryptocurrencies can be used anywhere in the world , taken the usage and effectiveness is taken into consideration.
When we talk about sports industry , it have a lot of scope for sure. Even right now many governmental bodies have allowed the sport gaming Industry involved in gambling to go online , this is giving them revenues at the same time it's good for the people too since they can avoid crowded spaces altogether.
- Transparency is a factor but at the same time if would actually deprive the people involved of privacy.
- people can involve themselves by investing in their teams and players through cryptocurrencies, this way one can also have international investors
-partnership and tokenization is already taking place in the industry
- it's not just betting and gambling but we are discovering new things every day.
2251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multiplayer vs single player games on: November 15, 2020, 03:36:16 PM
Hello ,

Since this is like a review for you I would like to answer it as briefly as I can.
Multiplayer games are amazing , we can interact , we can see, it feels like people in the game itself are around us and who doesn't need it during a pandemic.

But for sure these are not the games I would go and play everyday since most of the times I like to play some of my favourite ones and fast and short.

Multiplayer games takes time and therefore it's only once in a while that a person can enjoy it. But I believe during the lockdown more and more people are looking for games like this.

Some people might value their privacy a lot and therefore switch to single player games.

2252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Gambling Gang uses crypto for illegal purposes on: November 15, 2020, 01:10:11 PM
In china the government reported a case where a gambling Gang as they stated were using cryptocurrencies to transfer funds abroad. According to them trillions of yuan's are illegally being transferred abroad due to gambling.

They are taking it further by saying how it's not just a financial problem but it's a conspiracy against their nation as a whole.

Now they are making this bigger by saying how these cryptocurrencies and gambling are making it harder to track the transactions. BUT ! Isn't it easier to track these transactions as compared to fiat ??

Quote
Gambling in China is illegal under Chinese law and has been officially outlawed since the Communist Party took power in 1949. Any form of gambling by Chinese citizens, including online-gambling, gambling overseas, opening casinos overseas to attract citizens of China as primary customers, is considered illegal.

From wiki

Now gambling in China is Illegal so according to them if anyone from China is engaging in Gambling online overseas even the online casinos might be held accountable.  But I think some casinos might be bypassed by using VPN.

Shouldn't the Chinese authorities in lieu of the statement where they say that they are illegally transporting trillions of yuan's online , make the gambling legal and make sure to have well established rules instead of putting a hand out on the whole industry ?

Plus if people wants to engage it's their personal preference not the fault of the on-line crypto casinos.

2253  Economy / Economics / Re: A problem that can’t be dissolved: mission impossible on: November 15, 2020, 12:08:10 PM
Okay this seems fair , 2000$ for parents who definitely are your responsibility and you are doing great. I do believe that you need to talk with them!!!
You have to make them understand that 2000$ per month is a hefty amount which can for sure crater to their every need , if they fail to comply to your argument, then stop giving them money for a while , save up , if you save up for a year around 12*2000$ = 24000$ then instead of giving them this money , invest it into a small business, now name this business in their name which would mean , now they will have a fully functional business to look after and they can engage themselves mentally , get involved and stay at home and earn profit.
See the problem is : I believe they have overly great lifestyle and they have to start taking responsibility.
No matter what , if it's a kid , parent , sibling , I believe after a certain point you learn to be responsible and lean on your strength. As far as my parents are concerned , my grandma and my dad , they would kill me if I dare to send them money , even though they are very old , they like earning themselves and I help them up with some gifts every now and then.
You have to talk , to make sure they get engaged in something!!

The thing is ; when people are old, they have very little to hold onto , what they need is to feel that they have some responsibility and they are needed. So I believe if you engage them in business where they have to do nothing but make a phone call and watch from the sidelines they would love it.
2254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to open an online Bitcoin Casino on: November 15, 2020, 11:27:20 AM
I am looking to open a new bitcoin casino.

I want to start off by opening an online bitcoin casino WITHOUT a license. I want to know what countries allow for this LEGALLY.

I plan to get a license in the future if my website gets some decent traffic.
Hello
Let's start off by finding if your country is in the legal list.

I found this on the website https://slotegrator.pro/gambling_blog/where-online-gambling-is-legal.html

Now let's think about what you would need.

1. Make a team
    Developers
    HR
    Management team etc ..
2. Plan!!!
Look for funding , make plans , check the schedule and start thinking for the future
3. Finalize the design of your website and look for reviews
4. Get a test start
5. Get involved with people on the forum and maybe start a campaign
6. Viola!! After so much hardwork you have your own gambling website.
7. Make sure to periodically involve yourself in campaigns because these are the ones which would get traffic towards your site.
2255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if China wants to takeover bitcoin? (Assuming controllable majority of hash on: November 15, 2020, 10:49:13 AM
They cannot take over Bitcoins , what they can do is : Compromise the security of Bitcoin network by taking over the mining farms and decreasing the hash rate.

There is nothing like taking over the Bitcoins.

What they can do is make the network non functional for a while, when that happens all the transactions will become easily hackable. You should understand that when this would happen all the mining firms with a bigger share would inturn increase their capacities and take over the decreased hash rate eventually.

- if china wok take over others will see that as an opportunity and work against them, this would inturn save the network but would take 2-3 days
2256  Economy / Economics / Re: Look like covid is over Once we take loans on: November 15, 2020, 10:20:52 AM
Loans ? Over ?
I really cannot get over the fact that the government is engaging people in taking loans for their business and their families, which inturn with no jobs will cause catastrophic instances. People won't be able to pay back loans , they will have to give higher interest, ( I am aware of the fact that some banks are giving 0% interest on loan but that's a few ) , now this will mean that without jobs people will keep accumulating it every year.
The government should engage people in taking up jobs and they should give more job openings. But I don't think there is any conspiracy theory since this pandemic have affected the government and the people alike , if they did have vaccination they would have used , since the faster the people recover , the faster will the economy recover. They won't for sure hold the vaccinations.
2257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 1x2 vs the correct score bets on: November 15, 2020, 09:29:40 AM
I've opened threads on gambling behavior and multi vs single bets before, and this one is another question I'm interested in to understand what the majority of this gambling community prefers. If you bet on soccer matches, what kind of bets do you prefer? Is it 1x2 bets or are you into something more risky like predicting the correct score? What do you choose more often?
As for me, I prefer the simple 1x2 bets because predicting the winner is often much simpler than predicting the score. However, I'm participating in Sportsbet EPL Pool, and there we're predicting the correct score of every EPL match (although you do get a point for guessing the outcome correct, so it's not as risky as placing bets on the correct score). So far, I've predicted the score correctly only 5 times out of 78 matches, so betting on the score is definitely not a good thing for me.

As you said predicting the score is a hard Task , at the same time it's genuinely something very complicated. Some people might predict the score like: More than 40 or less than 40 , something like that is comparatively easier.

When we talk about choosing winners in this we also have a sub category of choosing the winning team. This actually cuts off the complications a lot.

So you can do the following things as I understand:
Choose the winner
Choose the team
Choose the score
Choose the score based on an arbitrary number eg. Might be more than x or less than x

Now what people are doing depends on them. Some might prefer one or the other and at the end of the day I believe it's more like personal preference.
2258  Other / Off-topic / Re: European Central Bank survey about digital euro on: November 14, 2020, 05:16:20 PM
I have tried answering this kind of question many times, I do believe that many people fail to understand the fact that , this would be nothing but : Fiat 3.0
It's backed !
It's by the government!
It's being tracked !
It's not going to be much volatile because it's backed in the first place!
Why should people go from cryptocurrencies to digitalized currencies like : digital dollar ? They are not even cryptocurrencies, they are just digital currencies, for example: digital dollar, digital rupee etc.. some might say it's because of security.
But security backed by the government during a pandemic is fleeting.

Personally I do think should refrain from even getting involved with currencies like this , we already have things like this and the Government might just be trying to manipulate people into Believing that it's something just close to cryptocurrencies like Bitcoins but it's not.

P.s. sorry I didn't do survey since the e-mail was necessary
2259  Other / Off-topic / Re: Electricity, Internet and Mobile Network on: November 14, 2020, 01:50:10 PM
I do think that the government needs to apply some renewable sources here in play. If your region does have high wind capacity I do believe that that can be used in a favour. If the region is experiencing floods then I believe that it can very easily be converted into a dam with a set up of water electricity which can be generated very easily. Now what it would require is :
Investment
But this investment would Continue for years.
Yes this is true that cryptocurrencies do need electricity as a means of getting well all along but at the same time if we do want to use it we have to actually adapt to the situation.
Weather related calamities are actually something very normal, it will happen for sure , but what you guys can do is be well prepared in advance till the things settle down.

I hope for a very fast recovery of your area and hope that there are no casualties.

2260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can people rebel against bitcoin? on: November 14, 2020, 12:43:44 PM
Last few months I saw an article, that make me shocked, how some killer open their mouth in the court to tell the judge how the woman paid them with bitcoin to her husband that is making court to start investigating how the transaction was made to carry out such act. Assume it's fiat money she use to pay the killer, do you think the court will still like to investigate the  type of currency used for the operation?
India is trying to Re-ban bitcoin in the country just because some people said is a scam currency.
What is your opinion?

Do people rebel against the money ? The fiat ? The gold? It's a well known fact that these things are used more for the illegal purposes . Do people rebel against these things ?
No
The fact is these people should rebel against the wrong things , bitcoin doesn't send them messages to use their funds for scams and frauds. They choose it themselves. They do it themselves. Therefore if they are going to make a point against Bitcoins, I do think that they have to rethink of what they are actually standing up against.
It depends on people, not Bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies.
Only 10% of it is used in illegal purposes. This is far lower than what is potrayed  by the government and the media.
Now with Bitcoins the person can be taken under investigation , we do have amazing network where the people can be tracked so easily. Therefore I think it's better for sure that the person was paid for in Bitcoins.
