I really enjoyed the PSG - Monaco match first of all. Both teams had good performances. Monaco's goal came as a result of a bad choice of pass from Veratti to Messi and the defense couldn't do much against the counter-attack. After that Monaco still found some chances so the score might have been really different than this. PSG newly started to be more dominant in the second half. Messi and Mbappe missed an insane goal by targeting the goal post during the same attack. Later, Monaco even missed the chance of scoring against an empty goal. After Neymar's penalty goal, this time Hakimi aimed the goal post which would have been the winning goal for them. It was a really unlucky day for PSG. I'm glad for not betting on PSG otherwise I can't even imagine how I would watch this match.  It turned out that there was some misfortune that basically, PSG could have won the match, right? You may be one of the lucky ones not to bet on PSG, but did you miss it because you didn't know beforehand or missed it on purpose. Because usually, when a strong team fights and we miss it to bet, then usually they miss it because they don't know that there was a match before. But yes, regardless of whether you don't know or something else, this is a very unlucky match for both the team and for the bettors as well.  It's part of the game that PSG were unlucky against Monaco. Even so, their opponents were also unlucky, so it would be fair to say that both teams had very unlucky matches. It was a low scoring game and i was surprised to see that the pitch in UAE was green favoring the pace bowlers and both India and Pakistan bowlers bowled their heart out and even with the cramps and struggling with it Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf took Pakistan closer to the match and the fielding was overall great even though there was a dropped chance of Virat Kohli which was a difficult one. India took the game to the last over and it was a great nail biter.
There is a proverb in cricket that "catch miss, match miss" and Pakistan suffered for that. In my opinion it was bowling pitch and bowlers of both teams take the advantages. Naseem Shah's performance was outstanding as a first match. I hope he will able to perform in such way around the tournament. It was predicted to be one of the most exciting matches of the Asia Cup and that's turned out in the same way. There is a lot of tension between the two teams. Hardik Pandya took the team out of the difficult situation and won at the end. It must be said that Pakistan made several mistakes that gave the opposition easy solutions although that was not easy but they get advantage. Both sides played well in this game. There is a reason why these two teams are the best in Asia. Whenever Hardik Pandya is in great form, which he has been since winning the IPL, he is a terrific match winner. He is capable of winning the WC for India alone. Congratulations to India and well done Pakistan. Pakistan's pacers put in a great effort. This match became thrilling due to Pakistan's bowlers' guts and determination. |

Both La Liga giants managed to win in the 3rd round, three points are very important to maintain position in the standings list. Interestingly, the two bombers from each club both scored two goals, they seemed to want to compete to be the top scorer at the end of the season. Real Madrid are still able to maintain their performance on the winning track, they got full points from all the matches played. While eternal rivals Madrid have started to return to their best form, Xavi men appeared very productive by scoring 8 goals in two matches. Now Barcelona has collected 7 points from two wins and a draw and is ranked 3rd in the standings list.
Getting a goal in over two every game is crucial to help when both teams are level on points in the table and Barcelona have been doing well in the last two games. Barcelona is currently in 3rd place in the standings. The Blaugrana are only 2 points behind Real Madrid who have won three games and Barcelona are also one goal away from Real Madrid who have scored 9 goals from three matches. When Barcelona have started to return to their best game, then Real Madrid must be careful this season in defending the LaLiga title. In their current form, Barcelona is unstoppable, getting three points in every game. With the team on cruise control for most of the second half, Barça had an exciting second half. No poor individual performance in sight, four goals, and a clean sheet. It is evident that Barca has a great squad depth this year, thus Real Madrid must be very careful when defending their La Liga title this year. Every team must be thrashed, no more excuses. |

In hindsight, they must be thinking that things could've been different. Full marks to Poms, they bounced back nicely. Now, 3rd test is going to be an interesting matchup.

So the decision was taken to drop the promising Marco Jansen and include Harmer in his place. Hopefully Harmer will not complain if he sits out for the next few matches. You don't try to dent your chances of series win for just a promise. You play the condition and choose horses for the courses so I don't think that was the major reason. They definitely had a different thought process about Trafford's pitch (3 seamer + 2 spin), that's why they opted to bat first as they were banking on 2 spinners to finish the job on 4th-5th day, this strategy clearly didn't pan out. In this test match, South Africa lost very badly and now the test series is drawn at 1-1 as a result. As a result of this, the test series turned out to be a very interesting one. First of all, in this match, South Africa was not able to do anything well with their bats, and when they came on to bowl, they were not able to do anything well with their bowls as well. South Africa, on the other hand, was unable to do anything on the same pitch where England was playing so well. that’s what I found really amazing  . The result of matchday 3 is nice for AC Milan but not for AS Roma. I think Mourinho targeted to collect 3 points against Juventus. Juventus is no longer a very tough team lately, their defense looks rather weak. But unfortunately, Juventus midfielders are still better, so they won the ball possessions. It is lucky that AS Roma can get 1 point in this match. Mourinho needs to order AS Roma midfielders to be more creative in delivering assists and try to not hurry to move the ball. Although Mourinho uses a counter-attack strategy, but to dominate the ball possession is necessary as well. There might be a different strategy for Rome this season because they are at different levels! With Dybala's set up, Abraham's goal was a beauty. As a team, Juventus is significantly better this season than last. In comparison to Roma, Juventus was far superior. There is nothing more frustrating than Juventus dominating Roma and still failing to win. Afghanistan batsmen just crushed the Sri Lankan team and had a convincing win. No one thought this match will turn out to be one sided in the favor of Afghanistan. Chasing the target in just 10 overs with only 2 wickets down is a sign that this team means business here.
Afghanistan is a side that has been improving with every passing day. On the other hand, Sri Lanka seems to be sliding towards a never ending decline. Yesterday's match summarized this situation very nicely. Actually I won't be surprised if Sri Lanka ends up losing to Bangladesh in their next group match. Afghanistan won the match with almost 10 overs to spare, and thereby got a big boost to the net run rate. And where are those guys who always argue that only the top-ten sides should participate in ICC tournaments, because matches involving other teams can be lop-sided? Afghanistan did surprise yesterday and make a strong start in the Asia cup. If they continue this form, i think they could give tough time to the two strong teams of the tournament, India and Pakistan. I can predict that we may see few more upsets in this tournament and this Afghanistan team has the capability of defeating the top teams in Asia cup. I would not be surprise if they are able to play this years final although its too early to say this. Against Sri Lanka, Afghanistan started their AsiaCup 2022 mission with a bang, which I wasn't expecting. Throughout the game, Afghanistan performed well with bat and ball. Any team in the world can be upset by the Afghanistan team. In the UAE ground, the batting order of any team will be troubled by their top-notch bowlers. i will use to disagree with the point of Afghanistan as a week opponent. Point is how they perform today i am sure that Afghanistan is going to make a tough fight for Sri Lanka as according to my recent views. One more thing this is the very first match which is going to be played over there and pitches are very fresh so in the beginning the bowling team has some of advantages for the fast bowlers.
You are right I already decided that I am gonna put some money on the sri Lanka's side but I would also didn't underestimate Afghanistan team . Because they have hard heater batsman it's a plus point for t-20 and aslo thing they have great spinners but I think it that pitch is friendly for fast bowlers . So I think it could be a plus point for Sri Lanka for win so now If their batsmen can do well then I think they will win Afghanistan won the toss and elected to bowl first. I missed the first half because the network at my place had just stabilized. Seeing some footage and statistics of the Man United vs Southampton game is quite good, at least Man United can control the game more than having to concede in the first half. Paris Saint-Germain obviously won't have any major problems this season to win the Liguee 1 trophy because they are a club full of stars. Hardly any Ligue 1 club can compare PSG to. That's not interesting in Ligue 1, only one or two dominate. The struggle of Paria Saint-Germain will be tested again this season in Europe. Of course they will stop again like the previous seasons. Poms are off to a good start in 2nd test.
Kinda surprising team selection from the Proteas. They left out Marco Jansen, in the last match he contributed with the bat and ball both. Instead, they selected another spinner in the playing XI. They must be thinking of some turn on 4th-5th day. Otherwise, there is no other explanation for having 2 spinners.
I do not think that this match will last more than 3 days, just like the first one. The English pitch and the conditions are suited for bowlers. The English are also not good with spinners and therefore they might have added another spinner. I hope England is able to get those 40 runs and put on a decent lead today. I also feel it will only happen if Jonny Barstowe remains on the pitch for the whole day today. I think England will be able to take a lead of at least 120. Jonny Bairstow is batting brilliantly. He is unbeaten on 38 runs. If Bairstow manages to stay at the crease, I wouldn't be surprised if England takes a lead of over 200. England doesn't seem to have any trouble winning. England will definitely want to win by an innings margin. Because they suffered a humiliating defeat in the first match. Bairstow's unbeaten 38 should be converted into much more. England would need to lead by 150-200 runs on this surface considering SA's batters clearly struggle with the bat. It's hard to imagine being at the top of the test championship while struggling so much with the bat. What a great job the bowlers have been doing to make up for it. Additionally, that shows how strong they are at home. In the last three years, they have had the lowest batting average in away tests. |

Chelsea and Liverpool have not started the season well. They have made several changes within the team, but the players are still not able to adapt to the team. We may see unstable performances from Liverpool and Chelsea in a few more matches.
As I remember, Arsenal was at the bottom of the points table after losing their first 3 matches of the previous season. But this season the scenario is completely different. Arsenal is now at the top of the table after winning their first three matches. Scored 9 goals in three matches and conceded only 2 goals. Their gameplay is very good. Arsenal will be a worthy contender for this season's title if they can maintain this consistency.
Arsenal deserves to be praised. even before the start of the season. I favor Liverpool over Arsenal. but the truth is arsenal were much better at the start of this season. and I am also impressed with Leeds who managed to occupy the 3rd position in the standings. for liverpool and chelsea, maybe they will get better in the middle of the season after the players adapt to each other. so as to create a good harmonization of the game later. but it is undeniable that chelsea still lacks a good defense at the moment. I don't expect it to happen again this season in the Champions League even if Group C is a hellish group at the moment. I know Bayern Munich is a very strong team, but there is no reason to underestimate Barcelona even if they had an unpleasant experience against Bayern Munich in the past. Group C is very difficult for all teams especially Plzen. Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Inter have to accept the fact that they are in an unexpected hell group. Real Madrid, Manchester city, PSG seem lucky enough to be in the easier group, we will know who advances to the next round. As soon as Oliver Kahn learned that he would be drawing Barcelona, he could not hold back the laughter. An excessive amount of confidence! Bayern Munich is a better team. Barcelona has a group of star players. But Barca still needs to humble and complete some unfinished business. As with previous matches, I strongly believe that Bayern won't have an easy time this time around. We'll have to wait and see.
