Just a day left for the most expected and hyped match between India and Pakistan. As like every other match this is a regular match, but from the very beginning matches played between India and Pakistan have got big expectations and this is being used a big market by the media and broadcasting channels. In the last match played between these two, Pakistan made a strong win. This time who's gonna make the win, I believe this time it is for India.

It is not possible to say who will win this India vs Pakistan match.  Just like India has a strong batting, Pakistan also has a great batting.  All in all, both teams are very strong.  The team that will win this match will have to win with a lot of difficulty.  The match is expected to be very good.  For that we have to enjoy the game.  Then I will understand.  I think if India play well they will win.  Let's see what happens, nothing can be said until the game is over.

Tell me one thing how its fair to sponser any team, which has higher per capita from India?

We don't see such kind of generosity in other sports, I would very much like this system in other sports too.

OK.. maybe you are talking about teams such as Scotland and Netherlands. But even in this case, the cricket boards hardly get any funding from the government, since cricket is not an Olympic sport. IMO, it is unfair to them, as they receive only around $200K to $400K per year from the ICC. For comparison, Zimbabwe receive around $12 million every year. I want something like this:

25% of the funds to BCCI
25% of the funds to the other top-5 test teams
25% of the funds to remaining test nations
25% of the funds to associate nations

Perhaps the selectors' intention to keep Kohli because he is an experienced batsman, especially having record in the big tournaments. In fact, those who are considered to be a strong opponent against India, Kohli have good performance records against all those rivals. He holds numerous records in all three forms of cricket. Especially in the T20 format, he has occupied the first place of “ Most player of the series award” , the 2nd position in the world “Most fifteen in careers”, “Highest career batting average” and has various records with his name.

Records and averages never help any player for keep place in teams as right now competition is tough in Indian squad with too many batsmen performing amazingly in last few tours and things are never been easy for anyone to lost concentration but selectors still giving another chance to Kohli which is not bad at all but for me, it's going to be tough for Kohli because now if he fails to perform good then surely he is going to be in red zone and most chances he could be out of T-20 World Cup which could be more problem for him and his team.

Here in Asia cup I am not feeling they can face any problem in their early three matches as they are going to play against Pakistan, Singapore and then in semifinal against any team from other group which is also easy for them surely they are going through until final without any trouble.

If so, my question is why India giving more chances to Virat Kohli. what is the reason behind it? I consider him worthy only for his outstanding performance in the past in T20 World Cup. Who can also do well in the upcoming T20 World Cup.

These are professional athletes we are talking about. Most of them know how to keep personal life separate from professional. Sometimes, personal life might affect their performances but generally on a long span of time, it isn't the case. Virat is just going through a slump and probably loss of motivation. Hopefully he can get back to his previous form and a player of his caliber should be able to get out of it. The question is, how many opportunities the national team are going to give him?

In case of Kohli, you can't simply ignore these arguments. I personally believe that a key reason for his recent failure was his lack of focus on cricket. He is focusing too much on advertisements and sponsorships and also on partying. This is not something that we expect, when a player is out of form. We expect him to play more domestic matches to regain form. But I haven't seen him taking part in domestic cricket during the last 2-3 years. His only involvement with domestic cricket has been with the IPL.

I will take Sri Lanka as favorite team for this match by there recently performance is clear that they are strong than Afghanistan. Even so I am not taking Afghanistan lightly, as their fearsome spinners have a lot of trouble inoculating. Which team you prefer to win ?

Srilanka looks clear in favorites for today's match but i don't take Afghanistan as an easy team as they can show some good performances on the day.
Srilanka will be looking for Dasun Shanaka to continue his good batting form , if he clicks, there is no way Afghanistan can chase big totals or defend moderate totals.
On the other hand, Afghanistan will be looking for Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan to make a difference.

I think you are right now.  Virat Kohli's playing quality is ruined because of his wife.  I think so.  Virat Kohli has played well in all previous matches in India.  Virat Kohli is not playing well in the match as before.  His wife is fully responsible for this.  Had she not had an affair with an Indian star, her life would not have deteriorated so much, I think.  Virat Kohli will have to work hard if he wants to play the game like before.  He has to bring attention back to the game.

Well.. that is surprising. Afghanistan has an upper hand when it comes to T20 cricket. Because more than a dozen Afghan players participate in T20 franchise leagues around the world, and players such as Rashid Khan are among the most sought after in these leagues. Sri Lanka's strength is in spin bowling. If the Afghan batsmen can handle the Lankan spinners well, then the latter will have a chance. In terms of team balance, IMO Afghanistan is much ahead of Sri Lanka. BTW, I am more in tomorrow's big match (India vs Pakistan).

One thing which i never understood about the Asia cup is that it was originally a one day international tournament but then why it is converted to T20 tournament in this year 2022?  Is the any time shortage or any such issue that ODI can't be played at this time?

Also it did not happen first time. In 2016, it was also T20 format, then in 2018 it was an ODI format and now again in 2022 it is a T20 Format   Don't you think there should be a single format for one tournament?

They are not obsessed but jealous that how can a middle-class boy be able to marry a girl who is not only a big actress but is also a big entrepreneur? You can question Virat Kohli on his ill form and worst attitude but it would be bad to question his cricket getting affected because of his wife or his daughter. Pandya is also married to a model and part-time Bollywood actress no one questioned his relationship when he was out of form. I hope he gets his lost form in the upcoming Asia cup otherwise he will have a difficult time out of the field.
