Barcelona had better not pay this amount of money to sign him. Because they are already in a financially bad condition and they are trying to register all of their recent transfers on one hand. Karim Benzema is the best candidate to win the Ballon d'Or this year. I don't think Son Heung-min of Tottenham is going to have a chance against him in the fight.

Wesley Fofana is a young player, he is only 21 years old, in terms of quality he is still very good but we will have to wait in the next few seasons to see the real performance of this French player. To be honest i am surprised that the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo to Sporting Lissabon has not have happened yet. I know that Ronaldo is currently earning around 30 Million € AFTER taxes at Manchester United and that he is one of the top earners in football. Sporting could never pay a salary of this magnitude to CR7 but i doubt that he insists on such a extremely high salary. As you already said the main motivation for Ronaldo to change the club is the fact that he will not play Champions League at Manchester and he desperately wants to score a few more goals in that competition in order to stay in the record books of football for as long as possible.
Maybe ManU is still demanding a transfer fee that is to high for Sporting.
