“Schools teach you how to work for money, but don't teach how to make money work for you” – Robert Kiyosaki

“In the real world, the smartest people are people who make mistakes and learn. In school, the smartest people don’t make mistakes.” – Robert Kiyosaki

“The trouble with school is they give you the answer, then they give you the exam. That’s not life.” – Robert Kiyosaki

“If you’re still doing what mommy and daddy said for you to do (go to school, get a job, and save money), you’re losing.” – Robert Kiyosaki

“In school we learn that mistakes are bad, and we are punished for making them. Yet, if you look at the way humans are designed to learn, we learn by making mistakes. We learn to walk by falling down. If we never fell down, we would never walk.” – Robert Kiyosaki

“Because students leave school without financial skills, millions of educated people pursue their profession successfully, but later find themselves, struggling financially.” – Robert Kiyosaki

“The main reason people struggle financially is because they have spent years in school but learned nothing about money. The result is that people learn to work for money...but never learn to have money work for them.” – Robert Kiyosaki

“Academic qualifications are important and so is financial education. They're both important and schools are forgetting one of them.” – Robert Kiyosaki

“I don't believe in giving people money. In Sunday school [you learn] that if you teach a man to fish, you feed him for life; but you give him a fish, you feed him for a day.” – Robert Kiyosaki

“In school, you are given the lesson first. On the street, you're given the mistake first and then it's up to you to find the lesson, if you ever find it.” – Robert Kiyosaki

“One of the reasons the rich get richer, the poor get poorer and the middle class struggles in debt is because the subject of money is taught at home, not at school.” – Robert Kiyosaki

“The financial education taught in schools is funded and taught by the big banks and corporations. It's like having the cat train the mice.” – Robert Kiyosaki

“In the world of entrepreneurs, you don't need a college education. You need a proper education.” – Robert Kiyosaki

2264  Economy / Reputation / Re: Account/Bounty farming (20+ accounts) on: June 04, 2018, 12:30:12 PM
OP, great job mate. Let's hope a DT steps in and tag this people after validating the references. I thought Flying Hellfish IS A DT, may be he is not.

No sir not on DT.  The trust system doesn't affect my personal use of the forums in any meaningful way so I rarely use it.  A tag from me has the same weight as a tag from Trollaran!
Yes sir (Grin) I realized it later. My guess was staffs and mods are somehow DT LOL. I had an extensive experience about how the DT things work. Thanks to pugman and InvoKing.

I think these users should be tagged pending confirmation of the OP's info, I think it's great that a DT member is willing to do things like tag these kinds of users but this isn't my fight mate and I have no plans to make it my fight any time soon!
The forum will be a better place if reputed members step in, no matter if they are DT or not. Although everyone has their own choice and I have full respects for that.
2265  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Really high risky submit KYC only for Airdrop. Stay away, be safe. on: June 04, 2018, 12:16:43 PM
May be there is thousand post about KYC. So it doesn't mean we can't post about KYC. Post subject is totally different. What's harmful you seen on my post? I can't see. Is it mistake to share what I think? Every thought is different each other. So we can learn from each other. You are seniors, if you have any though about it feel free to share.

I mean no offence mate. We need a clean forum. People are tired of seeing same topics again and again, same discussions again and again. Instead of creating this topic you can explain it in one of those topics, can't you?
2266  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers earn money using your account on: June 04, 2018, 12:05:30 PM
Personally, if I was running a campaign, I would make sure that all the users had their ETH addresses attached to their profiles... but it seems like currently, a lot of "managers" simply don't care enough... they still get paid and the projects still get their "advertising".
This is a good idea to verify the ETH owner for the BitcoinTalk account.

I see the root is the ICO companies. If these ICOs would need to spend money out of their pocket then they would definitely make sure that their money is going to spend in the right area. They create bunches of tokens out of no where and paying with these tokens. These tokens are just some points in a websites like membership website, betting websites (i.e: xp etc).

So, why would they care (the ICOs)? If the managers start denying the projects which will pay the users with token and instead start accepting projects paying with established currencies  like BTC/LTC or even ETH, then you will see the improvement of quality of bounty campaigns. You bet.

I will vouch for this format. It's much simplified. All possible information can be scanned very quickly, for visitors - it's much more user friendly.
For details, the visitors can visit the ANN thread. You need to give them a reason to read the ANN threads too.

pugman needs to keep up with the dynamic columns. So, the less dynamic columns the table will have the better for him to update information.

Dynamic columns on the quoted one in this post-
Max Amount Held: Once the value exists the previous one the the information need to be updated.
Default Trust: It's gonna change every now and then so the OP needs to keep up with the update.

Dynamic columns in the current table (OP)-
Past Work: Needed to be updated after every campaign the finish.
No. of campaigns managed: Same like past work
Amount Escrowed: This needed to be updated even for every new campaign the user starts.
Default Trust: Already explained
2269  Economy / Services / Re: [For Hire] Bitcointalk posts writer on: June 04, 2018, 10:58:47 AM
Hello everyone, I want to write some posts and earn money. I was working with someone who had a lot of accounts but recently they closed this business for some personal reasons and I would be really glad to write posts for you on daily basis or whatever your need is, I can adjust with that.

I have been writing around 100 posts per day with my previous master and would be able to write up to 100 per day.

100% privacy and professionalism is guaranteed because I have been trained with that, please drop me a PM so we can discuss it further.
had a lot of accounts : Typical example of account farming. I can not believe how a forum can be a center of money source. People like this (your previous master) are no useful for a good cause. They are ruining the forum value.

100 posts per day with my previous master: Seriously! I am interested to see your previous work. I can guarantee you that all those were spammy one line posts? Prove me wrong.

PS: Please find a good job for a living.

Every one explaining me there is specifics time as per rank. This reply for you and I make it big. Because i already mention I didn't make any post recently. But you can't see. I know that there is time span between each post. But I didn't make any post/report  during 8 hours. After 8 hours a was attempting to report a post to moderator. That time I have face this problem. Not only today. Also yesterday. That's why I make post.

Too angry to make a conversation in a polite way. I am deleting my earlier post. I suggest you visit this page: Security bounties ===>>> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=309785.0

I have heard that Satoshi Nakamoto is probably dead because Satoshi was Hal Finney  Angry but who knows Wink

I feel so sad when people tag Hal Finney as Satoshi

But my life expectancy is limited
So if he was Satoshi there was no pointing in hiding it anymore, so I really don't think he was Satoshi.
It was pretty clear that he and satoshi was two different persons. They exchanged emails with each others. A person diagnosed with ALS is not going to play hide and sick.

PS: There is someone who logged into Hal's account on March 30, 2017? Who it could be? His last post was on  August 10, 2013
2272  Other / Meta / Re: Is there any bounty for reporting security bugs on this forum ? on: June 04, 2018, 10:12:46 AM
1) Will I get reply for all submissions even if rejected ?
May be it depends on their (admins) mood.

Any way the rules are here....
Rules
- You must disclose the vulnerability only to me. Do not test your vulnerability in such a way that it would give others any information about the vulnerability.
- I must not already know about the vulnerability.
- Your info must actually convince me to make changes. If you give me info that is insufficient to convince me to change things, and then a few months later I get more info from someone else which does convince me to fix the thing that you reported, then you'll likely not be awarded a bounty.
- You must not use your exploit in any malicious way, or use it to read any database info that isn't public except for accounts that you control.
- It must be fairly easy for me to check the validity of your vulnerability. You must have proof of concept code, a live example of the exploit on the forum, or a very detailed description of the vulnerability. You can't just say something like, "Avatars can be used to execute PHP." That's not enough information, and it's very likely that the vulnerability you're talking about won't even affect the forum. Attacks using brute-force, timing, etc. that you can't demonstrate may not be eligible for bounties.
- DoS attacks aren't security vulnerabilities.
- Compromising an admin account is a valid technique, but you can't assume that you will be able to do this.
- Assume that CSRF attacks against the admin console don't work.
- If an exploit is only possible due to a combination of two or more flaws, then the bounty is calculated for each flaw assuming that it alone would succeed in the attack, and you get only the smallest of these bounties.

You should be reading this when vit05 gave you the link at the first place.
2273  Other / Meta / Re: Trust system abuse on: June 03, 2018, 11:53:11 PM
I doubt that.
I read the first topic until this post. When I saw you said, "I've already learned that is the norm in these forums." then I did not bother to read further. The 2nd one was only limited to your post (this one).

Regarding self bidding: There are various ways to do auctions. The auctioner can bid on the item he's auctioning and it is not unfair (at least IMO.)
- You noticed that the viewers/bidders were unhappy by your action. If I was there you would see me angry too. I never experienced or even hard that you can bid on your own auction. It just does not make sense. You can set up a reserve price.

Can anyone help me to find the rule where it says bidding in own auction is ok in this forum? I tired finding it but no luck yet. Thanks in advance

If you feel that auctioneer bidding on auction is unfair or wrong in any way, that's just your opinion. Auction rules are same for all, including the auctioneer. Auction styles and rules vary around the world and the Internet. Something uncommon here is common elsewhere. Auctioneers often bid in their auctions in my country. Elsewhere maybe differently. I have already told people what I think about this in here. FWIW, the auction happened over two years ago and I've done bitcointalk-common auctions since.
What I am seeing is cultural difference if it is true that you can bid on your own auction. Like I said you would also find me angry if I was there and my common sense would say that you are doing illegal activities in your own auction.

Vod stated: "I decided what you did wasn't untrustworthy", regarding the auction. This is clear all over the reputation thread you said you read.

The auction in question is not really related as you can see. It's just a tool used by Vod, as there's not real "untrustworthy" stuff he could find about me.
We would not see anything (that happened later) if you would not place a self bid in your auction.

I personally do not like the practice to leave red trust to someone as because s/he left you a red trust at the first place. The first person left you the red trust because in his/her judgment you DID something wrong but without acknowledging the wrong or a valid explanation, when you are responding with a red trust from you then obviously things will start getting harder and nasty. You are, "Eating the fruit of your lips". I am sorry mate.

Please respect your time and others as well. Your time is very limited. Use it for something useful.

I just finished reading...
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3869593.0 <=== User Vod abusing DT position (petty red-rating with provable lies as a reason)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3869593.msg38658847#msg38658847 <===Re: User Vod abusing default trust list position

I will try to stay as much neutral as I can, I do not want to take any prior knowledge about what vod has done previously or doing currently.

So the root of the case is...

vod gave you a redTrust because you were bidding on your own auction.
Do you think morally it's right to bid on your own action?

You shouldn’t be bidding on your own auction if you don’t disclose this possibility ahead of time.
I've already learned that is the norm in these forums.
-This is an excuse mate.

In your conversation with vod an honest confession might change the whole situation instead you made a choice to claim yourself innocent. You dragged this into you now you are suffering for it.

Is it too hard to confess a mistake especially when you know you are not morally right?

Hello folks,

I received forum notification today that email has been changed. Without any hesitation, I tried logging in with my old credential and its password was changed. I then used the url in the email to lock my account. But now I am unable to access my account either. How can I recover my account?

Thanks.

Wait a second? So is "Satoshi's" account locked too???

Please I'm hoping one day he will return and will post something on bitcointalk... don't tell me if he decides so and tries to login but find's his account is locked.... what a bad feeling it would be?
He will create an alt claiming that he needs to recover his Satoshi account. No one will believe him. He will try to explain everyone but nothing will work. He will keep bumping the topic but theymos will never notice it  Grin
considering he lost his pgp private key

Consider this post as a massive report of these topics + what i wrote in the title + also i would know if it is fine to report topics containing referral links even if it is old and has many posts? (will it be deleted?)
If my memory serves me right then I deleted few posts that have referral links. In the comment section I mentioned that its a post with referral link and they get handled as good report.

Not judging the profiles, these eight cases have also gone from 0..100+ Merits.

Note: I believe that your 0..100 list contains a few cases that started from 10, but so what really.

Thanks mate. Updated. esmanthra was already in the list though.
Yeah I know there are some which are not from 0 merits. I will PM those Confirmed members to get confirmation from them. I will add them in the other list which is for 10 to 100.
