2261  Economy / Economics / Re: USA and USA dollar problem Biden government new Challenges on: November 13, 2020, 05:51:51 PM
The reason why countries like china are kings of production is : Cheap labor , they even employee kids to do that. Even right now Apple fired the employees of one of their branch because they were engaging in child labor. These countries like USA, UK, the reason why they decide to import products from countries like China is because they won't get the same profit here. They actually outlook the terrible condition the labours are in. Let me list some of the wages the people are getting there. It's as low as 1.52$ per hour for a worker.
Now if a country like USA, already well established decides to compete in the market , they have to face many challenges. Things like :
Farming
Decreasing the taxes of things which are made in the country itself
Set a good minimum wage for the workers
Making favourable conditions and implying the safety measures
*Equality* - I tend to believe that for Nation to achieve success they have to for sure look at their moral grounds too, then only will the people happily work
Cutting down on import
Etc...

There are many things that can be done here and I do think that Biden does know it , Trump nearly destroyed the economy and they might have to pay for the incentives NOW.
2262  Economy / Economics / Re: Oil and USA dollar problem for USA covid 19 New oil on: November 13, 2020, 03:49:39 PM
Oil is not cheap everywhere. It's only cheap in certain countries. USA is ranked 39th when it comes to the prices of oil. Oil reserves are full ?
I do believe that by oil you mean things like : petrol which is something that we call : exhaustive resources, non-renewable resources.
Quote
Globally, we currently consume the equivalent of over 11 billion tonnes of oil from fossil fuels every year. Crude oil reserves are vanishing at a rate of more than 4 billion tonnes a year – so if we carry on as we are, our known oil deposits could run out in just over 53 years.

- look at this information from ecotricity

*Now I don't get why you think that oil reserves are full and oil is cheap ?
I do believe it might be very specific for your particular county. Rest when we talk about backing up. I think that USD should be backed by things like: Gold, silver , stable-coins if you may. Cryptocurrencies- no since we need a certain degree of stability there.

It can also be backed up by the nations which are supporting USA. They can interrelate their economy and make it even more stronger. Who knows?? Just a small thought out of my mind.
2263  Economy / Economics / Re: World's Second-Biggest Bank to Issue $3B in Bonds Tradable for Bitcoin on: November 12, 2020, 10:43:18 PM
I do believe that even if they decide to do this , they are going to get hugely benefited by this since we have millions of users and therefore the crypto enthusiasts might more or so try out the bank , they will gain more customers. By saying the statement that they are not getting involved with cryptocurrencies, means they are playing with a double edged sword , getting benefited from the crypto sector and at the same time preventing themselves from the harsh criticism they might have to face from the government and other banks alike.
- everyone knows the value of Bitcoins and how it is flourishing since years so I believe not just this bank but many more should have already taken this step.

It would engage more people and at the same time they can explore their options by being a crypto friendly.

Banning the accounts of people engaged in trading is something that has been happening since years and I think instead of doing this the banking sector do need a new portrayal of what cryptocurrencies really can do for the individual and country alike.
2264  Other / Meta / Re: Is this place ever going to get a mobile view option? on: November 12, 2020, 12:15:48 PM
The website works fine even without an integrated mobile friendly code. I do think that the website do need a newer version but I don't think that we will see something like this soon.

But redesigning the website can easily take 20-30 days and for complicated projects even Months. This would mean that processes might be temporarily halted. With millions of users and millions of companies working. It would not only create additional steps but would also mean we would have people against this too, most prefer this version. How can one make a informed decision while taking everyone in consideration ? Poll ? Then add 10 more days for the poll so that we can get a good percentage.

For now I believe that you should try and just adjust in the normal version we have now.

2266  Other / Off-topic / Re: Banks consider covid-19 an opportunity to make money on: November 09, 2020, 06:52:58 PM
It's not an opportunity to make money , if they do make money they will only loose the existing value they have. Which means , no matter how much money they make , the value will degrade instead of reaching great heights.
The banks are self aware of this. But unfortunately it's the need of the hour and they have to somehow supply incentives , keep the cash flowing to ensure that economy doesn't drop. The problem is *when they over print money* , much like US , that is disastrous. Every country have their own certain set of values in which it's okay for them to print without loosing their economic value.

Banks are trying to take advantage of the situation by using this pandemic to increase the percentage they take on loans , this is not only shameful but also disastrous for normal people.

They is why use cryptocurrencies like : Bitcoins. We have literally no idea where the value of that bank note will end since this is havock.

(Plus : this should be moved to economy section of the forum , don't worry you don't have to delete it. )
2267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When did we find out Satoshi Nakamoto is a pseudonym? on: November 09, 2020, 06:26:52 PM
I do believe that even one statement from Satoshi on this forum can change the belief of many. He is a pseudonym is something which was assumed by us because we have actually no proof of who he is and where he is from. He was using a fake name : it was definitely assumed since he insisted on creating something this private and for sure he won't just give away his real name and identification. It could have been very easily misused by others, the government and the people alike. He could have to follow lawsuits and his Invention instead of bringing him fame could have brought down FBI right at his gate.

It's still a mystery and will stay like that until and unless the creator himself decides to reveal something.

But the fact that Craig Wright tried to tell people how he is the creator says a lot about the fact that it's a fake name used by someone , known by few , that's why he insisted on claiming it for himself.
2268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a great technology, a digital currency, investment & an asset all in! on: November 09, 2020, 05:57:10 PM
You took exceptionally long time to write this post and I appreciate it. Some things I would like to add here :

The applications of Bitcoins is actually dependent on tht individual, what they intend to use it for and how they intend to use it for.

Bitcoins is something which helped me go through a lot of tough times as for me it's a :
- source of Income
- investment
- way to pay internationally
- something to trade with
- safer investment as compared to normal bank account
- gives me freedom and allows businesses to work online internationally without writing any forms and waiting for maybe months before you can start

For everyone it's different and that's they beauty of Bitcoins. You can use it as you may. Plus during pandemic it was cryptocurrencies like Bitcoins which helped millions.
2269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Casino workers forced into unpaid leave on: November 09, 2020, 05:26:04 PM
The Macau gaming enterprise have reported that more than 60% of the Workers working in casinos have been Forced to take Unpaid leave.

The weird thing was : If the Worker have worked for too long the casinos takes them for granted and they are more likely to loose their payment.

Now 8% of them are thinking of switching to new jobs.

Now the steps taken  to tackle that :

Quote
Macau government could regulate the unpaid leave, measures could be implemented for an economic rebound, employees could be offered additional training, and the foreign employment quota should be adjusted to protect the local workers.

Macau continues to suffer the effects of the ongoing pandemic, despite some of the slight recoveries taking place in the industry.

At the same time we saw the boost in the gaming revenues:
Quote
Macau’s gross gaming revenue (GGR) dropped by 90% in September but rose by 229% month-on-month in October. The Individual Visit Scheme resumed mid-September and helped boost the economy in a small way, however, the country expects the tourist arrivals for 2020 to drop by 90%.

2270  Economy / Economics / Re: Effective Covid-19 vaccine found on: November 09, 2020, 04:37:04 PM
This is actually true. Another thing : Many counties have started giving the vaccination out to the teachers and the medical workers but not publishing the news till they have a better idea of how good it would be to produce it on a mass scale. Many of their efforts are strictly kept secret, it's a race and some countries are very close to achieving success on a global rate.

Now what would it mean for the country :
They will have an edge over the other countries and will be able to sell it for any price !
It would mean that government and people can start working on making heard immunity and giving it to public therby preventing the further catastrophic instances due to Pandemic and focus on their economy.

Even my teaches who are regular doctors have successfully enrolled to get the vaccination and even working on seeing if the booster dose is needed. This is a positive news and will mean pandemic will be over in a year or so.
2271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Airdrop Conflict on: November 08, 2020, 06:30:36 PM
WHY would someone send you Double the amount !
HOW would someone send you Double the amount ?
Why would they return your money if you do not know anything about them and at the same time weren't there like a millions scams which taught you already to stay away from things like these ??

This was clearly a scam, you can get fake followers and even real one's in a matter of seconds and therefore instead of trusting a channel with maybe a considerable amount of followers why not do research in advance and go the the main website they are referring to and then see if they are doing it.

Even if someone is going to airdrops you tokens or funds I do think that they won't ask money in return otherwise there is no reason they would even do that in the first place.
2272  Economy / Economics / Re: The Difference Between Staking and Investing on: November 08, 2020, 06:00:46 PM
Staking is something that people might earn high amount of profits from since it's just holding your coins plus it doesn't take much work and active involvement. But at the same time it's highly recommend to stake only regarding those coins which are very well known and always do your research since I have seen many ICO's getting down the line in a couple of months.

Therefore if you decide to invest in some new crypto or some new ICO , you have to think about all the risks and rewards. It can give you more profits as compared to even Trading , but it's risky if done without proper knowledge and many people have also lost a lot in scams and fake ICO's Makin superfluous promises.

I think we do discuss about Trading much but not staking.

_*_

But I think staking also helps to support the network in a way since if you invest in an ICO at it's starting stage it generally means a lot, plus you hold in for a long time.
2273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to "gamble" with ponzi scheme crypto scam services? on: November 08, 2020, 05:13:05 PM
I think I do not need to explain what I mean by ponzi crypto scam. Every week I see at least ten new ponzi scheme scams.

They often offer something like 100% interest per 24h (or something similar). They commonly run for quite a few weeks (or months sometimes) before "they go scam" publicly. The obvious idea how to exploit them is to invest something small at the first day, withdraw it as fast as possible and repeat just with the interests from the previous bet (and of course take some money away from every successful round).

Has anyone tried that? Have you been successful? Is this kind of gambling popular/common. Has it name?

Fist of all a scheme won't state that it's Ponzi or such . Most of the times you can even go through our previous messages, the deleted posts and for sure you will find plenty. Many people try and wrongly advertise on this place and at the same time, there is a very well know rule which states that :
If it sounds too good to be true it's a scam
This work for almost every situation , not even gaming alone. You have to understand that , you have to only use the trusted websites, if you want to try some new we sites then you can go for the ones which are getting involved in campaigns etc. But never send money to any site that make promises like that.

Plus I don't think many people here did fall for it.
2274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Gambled against Biden - funniest instance on: November 08, 2020, 03:51:03 PM
The Hungarian President openly stated that :

He Gambled against Biden.
He had high wagers apparently against him.
He did not have any plan B.

Now Hungary is not a Fan of Biden for sure but the funniest thing is , these were the words of the Hungarian President after loosing the bet :

Quote
Allow me to congratulate you on a successful presidential campaign. I wish you good health and continued success in performing your extremely responsible duties

At least he wasn't a sore looser. How many of you guys did bet against Trump ? Did anyone loose a critical amount ? What are your thoughts on this particular thing ?

Hello
I would start by saying that this is an extremely great ideas since in the past I have seen people posting about bonuses , if someone knew about those , which sites are offering and how much they are offering etc.
Therefore I think that this would not only help people but at the same time it's going to help to increase traffic on not only your site but on the main sites you mentioned too. Few things that I would like to leave as a review :

1. It's too congested therefore it would be a good idea to provide some more space in between the sites mention

2. I think that the whole site design is quite simple but there are many things happening at once and thus it can be improved for sure.

3. You should post comments and reviews of people who did use those promos and stuff therefore it would not only advertise your site but at the same time give newcomers a new found trust.
2276  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest threats to the price of Bitcoin. on: November 08, 2020, 01:35:11 PM
I do believe even if you are thinking about quantum computers a lot the biggest threat would be:

- Government

They can seriously control Bitcoins on so many levels , even right now the government have issued partial or complete ban on the cryptocurrencies  in a lot of states and countries , which is most of the times aided by Banks : both private and public ones. Even if it's not illegal to use Bitcoins in that state or province they usually ban the accounts of people involved in trading.

I do believe the one thing that can actually make the price of Bitcoins fluctuate is : The control these governmental and private bodies have over the laws and on the people , what they can do and what they cannot.

It is true that they cannot control the price of Bitcoins completely but I do believe that at a certain level they can ..most of the time these laws and statements are followed by things like : 10 year in prison for someone who would use Bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies. Now this is Ridiculous.
2277  Other / Off-topic / Re: Space Debris: A Subtle Way to Doom Humanity on: November 08, 2020, 09:38:57 AM
One should understand the fact that taking all this debris out would cost millions , the only thing that can work is :

Don't leave things there in the first place.

I do believe that the space centers like Nasa are very capable of teaching this to their workers and implying this as a rule. Space Debris has been there for years and it could actually cause fatal accidents too.

The situation is already into consideration and the project OSCaR (full for : Obsolete Spacecraft Capture and Removal) is already on this , I read the news regarding this on google and if you are interested you can try and search for the project.

They are going to use inexpensive equipments and try and clear up the non useful materials revolving around earth. It does not even end there , they have to then find a proper way to not litter the earth too and dispose off these things safely. It's a two way project. If you are keeping space from littering you have to take care that this material is not thrown anywhere without any consideration and steps taken to ensure the safety of the material and recycle.!!
2278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippines Allows Land-Based Casinos to Accept Bets Online on: November 07, 2020, 06:37:28 PM
For Filipinos out there:

Quote
The Philippines has allowed land-based casinos to accept bets online, in a move that could help operators mitigate losses from the pandemic. Gaming stocks rose.

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. has approved the applications of Bloomberry Resorts Corp.’s Solaire Resort and Casino, City of Dreams Manila, and Okada Manila for betting through the Internet, president Alfredo Lim said in mobile-phone messages.

https://ph.news.yahoo.com/philippines-allows-land-based-casinos-to-accept-bets-online-025956597.html

The Philippine government made some changes in response to the lockdown, as they approved land based casino's to accept online bet. I'm not really sure how this could be implemented though, but this is a good news for Filipino. I myself received a text message from one of them, City of Dreams, that their casino are already open and you can play and bring one companion. But I haven't try it though, I don't want to take risks, but it they allowed to accepts bets online then it will be good.

What are your thoughts on this?

Why wouldn't it be good ?
It would help people keep the distance ! At the same time people would be able to place the bets without actually going to the place so they would increase their business opportunities.

- good for people
- good for the casino
- helps control the pandemic

This would also mean that many local casinos are going to get a good exposure. They might even get global audience if they give a good house edge and live shows.

*Tax opportunity*
- yes for sure ! It's tax opportunity for the government and a good business opportunity for the casinos. Therefore it is a win win situation for both parties , considering the taxation is humble.
2279  Economy / Economics / Re: Here is a conspiracy theory on: November 07, 2020, 06:00:13 PM
Attacks ?
Alliance ?
I am not really sure if that would happen. There countries are not essentially on speaking terms and what I do think could happen is : War.
When they start clashing the small countries would be actually blended in between all this crisis. This is really something that would mean death for many people due to pandemic + decaying economy + war , this would mean the worst for the people.

Plus even if they didn't find vaccination people will start normalizing coronavirus .. at the same time heard immunity will develop fast.

Right now vaccination is being tested on teachers and healthcare professionals we will for sure find one and chances are even if the virus mutates the vaccination will work. Since whole mutation of genome is something that won't happen for sure.
2280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need a good strategy for greyhound and horse racing avb market on: November 07, 2020, 05:34:15 PM
I do think that you are really misunderstanding the whole concept , gambling is something that you can never be sure of , winning and losses go hand in hand and therefore  if you are thinking about winning everytime then I do think that you should take a serious job instead of gamble.

But I do think some things that might help you is :
- keep track of the news
- discuss with people who are pro in this field
- keep track of the history , who is winning , who is injured , who performed the best in the previous games
- don't have a favorite ! I cannot stress this enough ! If you are thinking of making profit then you have be unbiased !!

I don't think anyone can give you winning strategy 100% you have to rely on your luck and see what happens.
