2281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finding new exchange tokens on: March 22, 2022, 02:01:13 PM
I don't think exchange tokens are the best idea for investment right now. Such coins were popular in the IDO and launchpad era, which is not very popular now. Recently there have been many different exchanges with their tokens that don't have much use, for example the WRX token, which has fallen very much after the pump. And there are many such examples now.
2282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: March 22, 2022, 11:17:13 AM
Barcelona has a very high chance of winning the Europa league. There are so many reasons they are the favourites but I will try and mention few of them;
  • Barcelona is a champions league team, so their prestige is there for them
  • Barcelona is currently in a good form
  • This is the only available trophy for Barcelona to revive their image
  • Xavi has done well and needs a trophy this season
The major threat I'm seeing is Westham United of Epl
I also think Barcelona will win this Europa League. Of the remaining candidates, only Atalanta and West Ham can be singled out, but Barcelona look much better. As soon as Barcelona were relegated from the Champions League many predicted they would win the Europa League, and there is no doubt that they will play in the final.
2283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Prince Philip of Serbia: "only way around inflation is Bitcoin" on: March 22, 2022, 09:34:12 AM
It shows that bitcoin is getting more and more popular now that people in government are starting to talk about it positively. All this hype certainly started during the last bull run, and now many politicians are claiming that bitcoin is a good hedge against inflation. Could this mean a price collapse is on the way? It seems strange to see positive comments about bitcoin coming from everywhere.
2284  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expect Bullrun this year again! on: March 21, 2022, 07:57:59 PM
I wouldn't trust some dude on Twitter, especially if he's talking about a bull market. For one thing, it just recently ended, so why should it happen again after only six months? Secondly, there's a lot of shit going on in the world right now, so any market could be bloody for a long time. As has been said here, it is more likely to see a new bull run after 2024.
2285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Malaysian Ministry proposes cryptocurrencies as legal tender? on: March 21, 2022, 07:11:15 PM
I don't know if it's true or fake, but I don't see what the big deal is. Gradually the whole world from Europe and Asia to South America is starting to accept bitcoin in one way or another, some legally, some not so much. Especially Malaysia has long been known for its loyal attitude to cryptocurrencies. Interestingly, in the last year, many countries have officially declared bitcoin as a means of payment.
2286  Other / Politics & Society / Re: FIFA and UEFA has suspended Russian Football teams. on: March 21, 2022, 06:33:18 PM
The bad thing in this history is not that Russia is excluded from all international competitions not only in football, but in almost all other disciplines, but the bad thing is that athletes will lose their classification and experience because the level of play will drop a lot. The motivation for Russian players has always been lacking because they were paid a huge amount of money for any results. And now the quality of their game will decrease even more, because they will only play each other, where everyone has a bad level.
2287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in METAVERSE on: March 21, 2022, 05:59:13 PM
I have long wondered about casinos in the metaverses. In my opinion, this is a promising direction for the gambling business. I think that by opening a casino in popular metaverses like decentraland or sandbox, the owners will make good profits, because the popularity of metaverses is at an early stage. It's also interesting for users. Sitting at a virtual poker table in virtual reality is unusual to say the least.
2288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 21, 2022, 11:01:33 AM

Conceding 4 goals does not mean the Madrid defense is weak the fact that in La Liga Madrid are the team that conceded the second fewest After Sevilla
Based on the quality of the two teams not much different it's just a matter of lucky day that Barcelona won today, indeed 4 goals is a bit embarrassing.

Xavi knows very well how to deal with Madrid. The strategy used is perfect. Madrid let Xavi's team control the midfield and that's the result that Madrid must accept.
although at the beginning Madrid had a greater chance of winning. but now Barca is showing the quality of their return game. playing without Benzema is very difficult for Madrid to penetrate the strength of Barca's game. 14 shots only 4 on target. looks like Madrid lost their goal machine.
Agreed, after Xavi became Barcelona coach they started doing well and they finally got to the top. But no one expected the last game against Real Madrid to be so great. I thought they couldn't win in Madrid, but I was wrong. I didn't think Barcelona were capable of playing like that right now.

2290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks in Ukraine Restrict Clients from Buying Bitcoin using Ukrainian hryvnia on: March 19, 2022, 11:33:58 AM
The exact same scenario happened in Russia recently when the Central Bank spoke out about banning cryptocurrencies in the country. This must be a headache for all banks, because people become financially independent from banks by using cryptocurrency. I know that the crypto-community was well organized in Ukraine, and there was a concentration of different projects and specialists. But with the war, the law on digital assets may have been poorly organised and may need to be refined. In any case, banks will always fight cryptocurrencies.
2291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Casinos invest on endorsement from celebrities on: March 19, 2022, 10:25:45 AM
Sponsoring celebrities or sporting events always increases the demand and use of casinos. For example sportsbet.io is featured in English matches and I think this increases the popularity of the platform. If you run a lottery, it does not attract a large number of visitors who will not necessarily use the gaming site for their own purposes, but advertising attracts a lot more visitors who are willing to spend money.
2292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Satoshi was dumb on: March 19, 2022, 08:29:00 AM
Bitcoin was the first popular cryptocurrency to achieve great success, but in its early days it was used among geeks and ideologues who didn't care much about money. Satoshi's idea was quite different - to give people a superior tool, and he succeeded. And then copies, shitcoins, and other rubbish started appearing, whose creators dreamed of getting rich.
2293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Block's plan hardware wallet with fingerprint sensors... on: March 18, 2022, 07:52:13 PM
I think too, that biometrics in such hardware wallets will be used as an extra feature, something like unlocking apps on an iPhone with a fingerprint, which can be disabled in the settings. Still, seed will be the primary method, because a fingerprint cannot be digitised in a blockchain. And I wouldn't trust such wallets that use biometrics because you are identifying yourself with specific addresses, which is not secure.
2294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: March 18, 2022, 05:35:16 PM
I really enjoyed the Crevna Zvezda against Glasgow Rangers match. The fans showed fantastic support. even a little support for the suspended Spartak Moscow from the Europa League. Pity they lost. And of course Barcelona who were lucky to beat Galatasaray. Although the Turks played much worse, Barcelona didn't play their best game either.
2295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: wrx token going continue down, why? on: March 18, 2022, 02:09:06 PM
Probably the reason why the value of this shitcoin has dropped is because this exchange is not popular and it is a Binance project in general. I don't think Wazir X is used by many people, most likely they trade on more popular exchanges like Binance. All in all WRX is not a success and it's not clear why it should grow. Coins were sold to all who want them at high prices, now the sale is still going on.
2296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Hoard Bitcoin? on: March 18, 2022, 07:56:35 AM
No problem. You can spend your money buying bitcoins and then spend your bitcoins. That way you will see the value of not only fiat money but also bitcoin, if you think the value is only in use. Really, don't be surprised in a few years when you realise that instead of one iPhone you could have bought several MacBooks.
2297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine: Zelensky signed the law "On virtual assets" today on: March 17, 2022, 08:59:24 PM
It seems that Ukraine has been drafting such a law for a long time. They just signed it in the middle of the war, as it happens, because Ukraine receives cryptocurrency donations, so a law is needed to make it all legal. As for economic recovery, it will be done by Western countries: USA and Europe, which also donate a lot of money to Ukraine. The main thing is for them to be able to resist.
2298  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Russia goes full Bitcoin adoption on: March 17, 2022, 07:35:47 PM
For Russia, the main thing now is to rebuild its economy in isolation from the outside world. I don't think the government will use bitcoin inside the country, because there are a lot of other problems now. For the most part, people here are not very educated, so they are far away from new technologies and from bitcoin too. Especially recently, the central bank was preparing a ban for cryptocurrencies, which also says a lot.

2300  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN will rise on: March 17, 2022, 05:59:30 PM
I think the growth in the number of wallets with a small number of bitcoins suggests that their owners expect bitcoin to grow in the future, but it does not suggest that bitcoin will start growing any time soon. I also think that this analysis does not suggest that such wallets can be a split of larger amounts. I like glassnode's analytics, but it's aimed at the long term. For example they have been mentioning wallet growth for a long time, both during bitcoin's rise and during the fall.
