1481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: December 15, 2022, 03:07:54 PM
Anyone thinks that PSG could just blow things up and restart from scratch if they end up not winning UCL this year as well? They are always great at ligue 1 but I am seeing that they are not doing that great at UCL for this many years, and that means they may end up with a team that could just win it if they started from scratch and slowly built it instead of just get stars?

Mbappe is a great player, there is no doubt about that, but selling him for a record transfer fee, like 250 million or 300 million, which is not easy but also not impossible, would give them a chance to start over with some newer players and maybe that would work better for them?
Mbappe is actually a very good player. He is just an excellent scorer. But to compare him with Lionel Messi would be absolutely foolish, Lionel Messi is a unique player with whom no one can compare. Mbappe's side France and Lionel Messi's side Argentina have made it to the finals and they will be very competitive. I think if the Argentinian defenders can stop Kylian Mbappe brilliantly then they will win easily.
Mbappe is as good as Messi, maybe even better. Especially as they know each other very well. In yesterday's game against Morocco, Mbappe made excellent passes, no worse than Leonel Messi. By the way, in the PSG game Mbappe also plays better than Messi in my opinion. They just have an age difference, so Messi seems wise.
1482  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could this be the bottom of Bitcoin? on: December 15, 2022, 01:22:50 PM
the 3 month scale ranges from $16k-$21k (rounded)

so a $17k is not some massive hype or crash or bull or bear. its just small movements in comparison to the yearly amount

i personally have a huge hoard from decade ago and sooner but im still happy to accumulate more while prices are below $20k

its discount season, great value.. compared to last years premium
I read your reasoning about the cost of mining bitcoin. And it seems to me too that right now anyone has a good opportunity to buy cheap bitcoin. But what if there is an energy crisis in the future, as some say. What if the big miners leave the field and sell the mining equipment. It could happen that the difficulty of mining would drop. Then the value of bitcoin will drop too. Especially since there will soon be a new halving, and at the usual cost there will be half as many coins mined.
1483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge demand for privacy incoming - Monero (XMR) will likely surge on: December 14, 2022, 09:00:46 PM
Yes, you are right. Cryptocurrencies need more anonymity. But it's not just monero that has successes and prospects. We should also not forget that litecoin also introduced a new anonymity protocol, and I think it was done because of the promise of anonymous coins. But as you said, states will fight against such coins. For example XMR or LTC were delisted from some exchanges.
1484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 14, 2022, 08:26:33 PM
I don't know what happened to Morocco at half-time, but they played much better in the second half than in the first and I wouldn't be surprised if they managed to equalise. Although I don't exclude the possibility of France catching them on the counter attack. And if that happens, there is nothing Morocco can do. But I really like the way they try, not like Croatia yesterday.
1485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 14, 2022, 05:34:22 PM
The stage is set for the Almighty game between France and Morocco, and this match will settle a lot of assumptions and give direction to we're the cup is going since the finals are just a few days ahead. It's hard to predict the team that will win tonight's match even as bookmakers gave Morocco high odds and that doesn't limit the possibility of them winning tonight's match.
I think today could be a repeat of yesterday's game. France will probably win and Morocco won't be able to score. Although a win for France is even more obvious than yesterday's win for Argentina. Morocco have played well against Portugal and Spain, but France are much stronger than those teams. I have no doubt that Argentina and France will play in the final.
1486  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could this be the bottom of Bitcoin? on: December 14, 2022, 03:12:41 PM
No one knows. Time will show you.

I use the easiest system for me to do without bothering analyzing chart patterns. Maybe this can be a reference if you don't do short-term trading. If the price chart becomes more and more red, that is time to buy. If the price turns green and gets higher, that is time to sell.
I agree with you. It is better not to think about where the bottom will be and buy if possible. The price has been falling for a year now and even if it continues to fall for a while, it will not happen all the time. Now everyone has a good opportunity to invest and profit in the future.
1487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 13, 2022, 08:33:03 PM
3-0. Croatia probably don't have a chance to score at least one goal. Not much time left. Messi is a genius and the Croatian players can do nothing to him like they were able to do to Neymar in the game against Brazil. Argentina were able to get revenge today after their 3-0 loss to Croatia in 2018.
1488  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will The FED pivot? on: December 13, 2022, 06:46:04 PM
Guys there's an update from US, The CPI data just came in lower than expected!! (7.3% expected vs 7.1% actual)! Bullish for markets!
This means the Fed will definitely not raise interest rates by 75bps this time, the tightening policies are working out finally. This time maybe 50bps and soon to 25bps in the upcoming months to come?!
BTC will rock to 30k with ease imo if fed pivots or even slows down with those nasty hikes ! 🙂
I don't think bitcoin usually reacted much to interest rate increases, or rather it was short-term. This time, of course, the reaction was positive, and the surprising thing is that bitcoin reacted much earlier than the data was announced. But I think there is a lot of other bad news in the crypto market that affects the price. Today, for example, the claims against Binance started.
1489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 13, 2022, 03:08:10 PM
I don't think that Croatia and France will meet again. Because that's what is currently likely to happen. To thwart the predicament I expect Argentina to be able to overcome Croatia's game which is quite solid. However, Croatia looked very confident and was able to beat Argentina in the semi-finals.

On the other hand, this is an opportunity for Argentina to end Messi's last world cup in a very valuable match. Unfortunately, I got a number of issues that Messi will be absent because he received a sanction from FIFA as a result of his attitude towards the Dutch team. Whether that's true or not, it will definitely be a pretty big loss for Argentina if Messi can't strengthen his team in a fairly important session.
France and Croatia could meet again if both win their Semifinal matches, which is very likely.

Argentina, on the other hand, will do everything in their power to win the match because Messi will want to add the World Cup to his collection of trophies, which would be a huge accomplishment for him and the Argentina team in general. As we can see, the Argentina team is playing the game with a strong desire to win, so they have a good chance of winning.
I would also like Croatia to win, but Argentina look stronger. I think Messi can score today and then Croatia will have to attack rather than defend, which could lead to their loss. But if it comes down to a penalty shootout like in the match against Brazil, Croatia should win. They have the best goalkeeper in this Cup.
1490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any Live Casino In world that Accept Cryptocurrency and pay in crypto? on: December 12, 2022, 09:55:34 PM
I don't think there's anything difficult about Live Casino accepting cryptocurrency payments. After all, they give out tokens in return or credit the machine's account. So I'm sure the casino will accept cryptocurrency payments in jurisdictions where cryptocurrency is not banned. But it seems to me that such payments are more suitable for online casinos. In real casinos it is easier to use fiat.
1491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 12, 2022, 06:51:54 PM
I agree with you. Argentina are considerably stronger than Croatia in attacking and defense department. But Croatia played a game that looked like they were targeting from the start of the match that they would take the match to extra time. They also play the mind game well during the match. I don't think Argentina will want this match to go to extra time anyway, because they will never want to take the pressure of penalty shoot out after going into extra time.
In the last game, Croatia was really strong when they beat Brazil. Their midfielder was indeed able to make Brazil fail to build attacks properly because Croatia tends to dominate the midfield compared to Brazil. Midfield dominance in that game will be crucial, and Croatia may do the same against Argentina.

Argentina has many advantages over Croatia, but certainly has some weaknesses. Argentina has a tendency to get emotional quickly so it will be very bad when the game with high tension. Their quarter-final match was really bad, the game was so rough even though in the end they won the match. It is true that Argentina is expected to reach the final this time, however I will be looking forward to the two teams actually fighting for a ticket.
I believe that both teams got to the semi-finals for a reason and it is irrelevant to say that either team is stronger. Of course Argentina have more famous players, but the Croatian players also play for top European clubs. I would call the chances of winning this game the same. My guess is that it will end the same way as with Brazil on a penalty shootout.
1492  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy every dip! on: December 12, 2022, 05:02:28 PM
Buying every dip is easy to say, but difficult to identify the dip (for me at least!)

Every time the price of bitcoin drops I am afraid of the point that it is going to stop or it will be ongoing for a long time. Looking at charts and trying to make my TA sometimes prove me wrong!

Yes, This is very understandable, Like the Internet in 1992, Bitcoin has gone from zero visibility to incredible hype in a very short time.
Similarly, cryptocurrencies can be compared to the less positive dotcoms event. The charts of many companies in 2000 looked like the current charts of various coins. As a matter of fact, Michael Saylor lost a huge fortune at the time. Honestly this fact alone scares me. If dotcoms history repeats itself, few projects will survive, but bitcoin will definitely be on that list.
1493  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think that we will see 13500 Dollars In 2022 on: December 12, 2022, 03:11:58 PM
Cryptocurrency will be bearish when the entire world economy is in recession. The cryptocurrency has been in a downward trend since the beginning of this year. We know that the crypto market is constantly influenced by different news. Negative and positive news always exist in the market. But an investor needs to think deeply about Bitcoin's present and future. Regardless of the prediction, you have to strict your position. A few days ago, many people may have been a bit disappointed with the prediction made by Standard Chartered about Bitcoin. They said that the price of Bitcoin is likely to fall further and there is a chance that it will go down or stay at $5000. As a result, those who have some weakness in Bitcoin are very worried and many may even consider selling their accumulated Bitcoin at a loss after hearing this news. But overall I think Bitcoin price is now above $16000 and from next year it will go up again and limit to $24000-$28000.
Well said, I also think that another big reason behind this long bearish market is the economic recession caused by the Russia-Ukraine war. Moreover, if we look back to 2018, we can see that the bearish market was more bearish than expected. And now after various incidents, Bitcoin is limited between 16000-17000. However, it is still not possible to tell the market correctly what is going to happen in the future. Cause the market is still in a risky position there is no green signal seen yet. After the FTX crash, it cannot be guaranteed that there will not be another such incident in the future. So I think there may be more downmarket going forward but it will not go down as much as Standard Chartered did. Even then, according to many market analysis, the bear market will continue until 2024, but I think that Bitcoin may reach 30k towards its last or in the mid-2023 and we may going see another BULLRUN in early 2024.
I think the global crisis has been brewing for a long time, since the advent of covid. Think about it, what is the place of Russia and Ukraine in the world economy. It's just convenient to blame it all on this military conflict. I am sure that once the US changes the situation with the printed dollars that led to record inflation, the markets will turn green again. It seems to me that the recession won't last long. But most likely bitcoin will indeed go down to 10-13k.
1494  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and The Support Trendline on: December 11, 2022, 07:48:21 PM
It seems to me that the mathematics of calculating the cost of mining bitcoin might break down when it turns out that the cost of electricity is different everywhere. And some people even have access to a free power outlet. Then it turns out that the real cost of bitcoin might be even cheaper than 14k. But the chart doesn't tell us anything specific either, it only shows the probability of events. In this case it is up or down. The chart depends on the psychology of behaviour. Not mathematics. I also think we will see a bounce soon.
1495  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin high prediction 2023? on: December 11, 2022, 05:55:59 PM
I know we are likely to drop further in the first few months of 2023 but I am curious to know how high we all feel Bitcoin can reach later in the year before 2024?
As per usual 4 year cycle of bitcoin, we may have the current bear market only up to the first month of 2023 hence you may expect bitcoin market to recover somehow after that. 90% of chances of 2023 to remain as sideways market which include some recovery from the current price levels.

In 2024 mid, we have halving and usually the halving year is known for getting back to ATH. It means by end of 2024, bitcoin market may trade again around $60k levels. So, the current periods are very good opportunity for buying and holding and I am sure if you manage to buy now and hold then by end of 2025, you may see yourself richer by 10 times. Because, bitcoin market is known for growing 10x from ATH to ATH but now you get chances to buy lower than current ATH.
Usually the price of bitcoin rose not at the time of the halving but afterwards. So we should probably expect bitcoin to rise in 2025. As for 2023, I also think we should expect a sideways movement, but if you look at the annual price chart, we have a big red candle this year. According to statistics, a red annual candle is always followed by a green one.
1496  Economy / Speculation / Re: The world is not doing well on: December 11, 2022, 03:06:33 PM
That's right, one day the world's economy will definitely recover and at the same time the crypto market conditions will also recover. there is no other choice but to continue to survive and continue to increase the amount of investment. if you give up you will regret it when crypto market conditions recover and the bitcoin price reaches a new ATH which is much higher than before.
let  the world economy suffer but the crypto economy must recover fast  Grin

while the whole is in this situation the crypto market is showing small recovery and good health in means of trading , Bitcoin is now at least staying at 17k while others are also in small greens.

I will maintain my holding instead of selling at risk this time and this is also what we must all do now.
While the stock market was showing a recovery, the crypto market was falling into the abyss at the speed of light because of the FTX news. So if the stock market starts to fall again, you and I are definitely in for some bad times. Hopefully all the bad things are behind us now and the crisis doesn't hit again.
1497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Crypto With a Job.. on: December 10, 2022, 02:55:28 PM
I really advise against day trading, even the supposed experts can get it badly wrong. All you have to do is look at FTX for a recent example, it’s a very dangerous game. You can quite easily go underwater & make it even worse chasing losses.

Your best strategy is just to buy regularly & be willing to be patient, wait many years & you make big profits. So far in crypto it has proven to be a very profitable strategy.
You're not talking about trade, you're talking about hold. These are totally different things. Some people, apart from holding, regularly trade intraday on the exchange using margin. That is why it is impossible to hold money in a personal wallet. I think there is a separate deposit for that and the trader takes all the risks associated with holding funds on the exchange. I also have a deposit on the exchange to trade in addition to coins in my personal wallet.
1498  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Hit $23,000 in Q1 2023? on: December 10, 2022, 11:21:00 AM
I sure opportunity for rising in 2023, even I'm sure Q1 in 2023 can touch $ 25K, now is the time to continue to buy before the price is more expensive, don't panic if the price drops again, this is a good opportunity to continue to buy.
Not many people agree with that I am afraid. Look at the market and the recent small drop, do you think that if people believed price would have gone up they would end up doing it again?

Of course not, they would be buying right now and not selling so that means if the prices are even slightly down, they do not believe that it is going to go up. Obviously there could be some people who do, and they are buying, but if the price is going down that means more people sell than buy, so more people are not seeing it go up. If they see price hitting 23k in Q1 and yet still selling right now to buy later to make a profit in the middle, that would be the riskiest move of all time.
I think buying now is less risky than buying last quarter, when many also said the fourth quarter would be green. But so far we have the price falling all this year. But it is logical to assume that next year will be good for cryptocurrency. I don't know what will happen in the first quarter, but it is still almost a month away, and if for example there will be growth in March, then we have another three months, during which there can be both drop and growth.
1499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 09, 2022, 06:26:16 PM
Didn't expect Croatia to beat Brazil. All game Brazil were able to create dangerous moments and dominate the match. When they scored, I was sure that Croatia wouldn't have the energy to score a return goal. They have the oldest team in this championship. But when it came to the penalty shootout, I knew Brazil was out of luck. Now it's down to the Netherlands against Argentina, where I am no longer sure Messi's team will win, especially after the Brazilian loss.
1500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 09, 2022, 03:10:05 PM
Brazil vs Croatia match is going to be held in a short time.  But all the viewers and history of the world are just waiting for the time.  However, in all the past games between Brazil and Croatia, it has been a hard-fought battle, but Brazil has won more.  FIFA World Cup 2022 games are going to be a little different.  Because everyone is playing the game of life and death which makes it very difficult to predict because every time Croatia can reach the semi-finals and runners-up.  But in today's game who will lose and who will win will be known if we wait for time.

There is no end to the controversy for the Brazil vs Croatia match.  But most of the people being brazil fans they think that brazil will win this match very easily and i myself being an argentina supporter believe that today brazil will win the game but just 2 hours after the brazil game there is another surprise argentina vs netherlands game which is more exciting worldwide.  So I think that both Argentina and Brazil can win these two matches and these two teams can meet in the semi-final.
I think what you are thinking will never come true. I think Argentina will lose today. But it may be now but my mind is telling me that Argentina will be eliminated in today's match. But if Argentina is eliminated today then all the fans of Argentina team.  They may be sad for a few days with tears in their eyes. And if they win today's match, there will be no end to their sorrow.
No, the Netherlands can't beat Argentina, just as Croatia will lose to Brazil. Of course I can't be entirely sure, but it's obvious to me that the American teams will go on to play in this World Cup today. The Netherlands haven't played that well in the group. I think this game will be similar to Argentina-Poland.
