1421  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for December on: December 31, 2022, 07:48:52 PM
December ended and this poll like the market remained half and half which proves nobody really knows what the real sentiment is and people are mainly undecided considering the global economical situation.
Of course global economic condition have affected the market at the moment, but so far a few big investors seem to have filled their pockets with bitcoin. There's a reason why they do it, it's because they know that the cycle will change as the next year progresses. We will remember 2022 as a bloody year for bitcoin, and I don't want 2023 to be another bloody year for bitcoin.

Bitcoin cycles will change, and market will recovering, and I have to be optimistic about that. Happy new year to you and everyone.  Wink
Judging by how badly this year went, I'd probably agree with you that next year should be better than this year, but I probably wouldn't be surprised if it turned out even worse. I wish there were more stability and less crises in the world, then there would be no doubt about a good future. But while a lot of shitty stuff is going on, there is a lot of doubt.
1422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The reason Dogecoin could fail in the future on: December 31, 2022, 10:26:44 AM
I think Dogecoin is a very strong project and the main point is that a Alon musk support of this project so they show that it will be a successful project in future.
According to my experience is that one the market situation is good so the project definitely achieve their goals.
so what's the reason you say doge project is very strong? even though we all know that doge is just a meme coin without any utility.
is it just because of elon support? I think that could be a weakness for doge if one day elon goes bankrupt or loses interest in crypto. I think a strong project is a project that grows and grows bigger because all communities are not just one person. but apart from that problem I am very amazed at doge and appreciate it because currently only doge coin memes are consistently ranking up and currently doge is ranked 8th CMC (very extraordinary)
I don't think it's about Elon Musk anymore. Look at how many topics about doge have been created on the forum lately. That is, so far this coin is very popular, it is mentioned more often than other shitcoins. That's the only reason to call it strong. Because while around doge there is a hype, it is really stronger than other projects, as it is not surprising.
1423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goldman Sachs is looking to buy crypto, why? on: December 30, 2022, 08:19:28 PM
....Why would one of the biggest investment banks in the world want to buy FTX's scraps?

Sources:

https://www.reuters.com/technology/goldman-sachs-hunt-bargain-crypto-firms-after-ftx-fiasco-2022-12-06/
You must have misunderstood the news article. It didn't say they will buy what's left of FTX but they will buy or invest in cryptocurrencies because the prices are down as a result of the FTX implosion. These banks are business opportunists at the end of the day and will take a calculated risk if a chance presents itself.
Of didn't say that they were buying FTX, but crypto companies. There's no talk in the articles that they would invest in cryptocurrencies but cryptocurrency companies, and those are down because of the case FTX .

And why they do this? They see that they can get them almost free and they are in it for the long term. Many crypto companies also might have better fundamentals then most cryptos and actual value behind them. Even if they are now having hard times.
It seems to me that if they really plan to buy the companies that were hurt by the FTX collapse, this could be bullish news in the near future. After all, there were no public announcements during the entire market crash, and here comes Goldman Sachs right away. The only thing that is not clear yet is whether we can trust this news.
1424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Dogecoin Dead ? on: December 30, 2022, 06:09:24 PM
i believe it's not dead yet. the doge community is active and doing good since a few years ago. then elon musk came and made a high impact for doge price. i think the doge community can handle it even if elon musk is gone.
You can say but Elon has no more influence on Dogecoin because now Dogecoin is on its own way. Elon pumped it a lot and now Elon has no much value against Dogecoin.
And yes the Dogecoin community is active and the team is working more to improve the core of Dogecoin.
No matter how hard the team works on the project, DOGE is already very much hyped. After Elon Musk stepped in, the coin showed incredible growth. Now of course, we cannot say that DOGE is dead, just like many other projects. But I don't know what would have to happen for such a great success to happen again.
1425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: December 30, 2022, 04:01:56 PM
Europa League matches will be so exciting to watch. From the looks of things, some clubs have already shown signs of weakness and these clubs may likely not qualify for the next stage. it's difficult to predict the winner between Manchester United vs Barcelona, Ajax vs Union Berlin, and Shakhtar Donetsk vs Rennes, others like Roma, Sporting, PSV, Juventus, and Monaco, Seem more dominating in this stage because from the fixtures, they seem to be the stronger side, and with that, they may likely qualify. But I see Arsenal as the next Europa league winners
It seems like that whole of matches that will be happening in the europa league become even more difficult to predict. I just wanna see how MU will be able to win against barcelona. This is the most exciting match from whole of europa league matches that gonna happen next year. It seems like that so many people were also putting their attention to the barcelon against MU too. There are so many strong clubs who didn;t lucky enough to survive in UCL must be gone to the europa league.
There will be so many exciting match to come very soon. It's likely that so many people may be facing lose caused by betting in the wrong team.
I agree with you that now it is difficult to determine the winners of the upcoming matches. Especially difficult to do so between Barcelona and Manchester United, Ajax and Union Berlin, Salzburg and Roma and Sevilla and PSV. Especially when considering last year's unexpected final, when Eintracht Frankfurt played Glasgow Rangers. Perhaps this year there will be surprises waiting for us too.
1426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 30, 2022, 10:45:17 AM
Atletico Madrid's dominance and victory in this match was as predicted and also not a surprise. because Elche has never been able to win in the last 5 meetings against Atletico Madrid. But the real test for Atletico Madrid is in the next game. because in the next match Atletico Madrid will face Barcelona. Of course this will be a fierce match.
Atletico has the biggest chance to win against elche but a red card for atletico madrid was also pretty much useless. Atletico madrid has been preparing itself to face against barcelona. I meant griezzman and felix will be playing together to beat barcelona. Barcelona will play without lewandowski and that will be giving so many advantage to the atletico madrid over barcelona caused by atletico madrid must hava taken three points from barcelona.
it seems like that match gonna be a very tough game for both. I consider that the performance from griezmann was significantly increase after the world cup. it seems like that griezmann was coming to the atletico with a new performance. His combination with felix was very good in the last match
It will be interesting to watch this match. If Atletico Madrid beats Barcelona, Real Madrid can easily get to the top of the standings. But I think that Barcelona will not give up three points in this match. Although, we will need to look at tomorrow's Barcelona game against Espanyol to understand their preparation for the continuation of the League.
1427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking should be limited and time based on: December 29, 2022, 06:12:43 PM
Developers need to learn from Binance CEO and BNB, they introduce APY and APR and the exchange / project is still functioning, I know that many staking protocol are build on scams/Ponzi scheme but those that are not scam are making mistake, here is what I learnt from Binance

1. They use time limit offers on their staking, meaning the staking won't run forever unlike some other projects, staking is capable of ruining a project.

2. They create spot for some period of time, e.g 100 people can stake withing the time frame of 1 month to 3 months. Binance do this a lot.

This is what real staking should look like to keep your project running without hurting the project, most especially new crypto projects.
Staking on exchanges does not seem attractive to me anymore, because your money can just disappear. A perfect example of this is the recent FTX collapse. So I would trust exchanges in the last place, no matter Binance or any other exchange. By the way, there are a lot of projects where you can stake right through your wallet. Polkadot for example.
1428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: December 29, 2022, 05:41:39 PM
Watching the current market and the demise of ALL crypto ... is this the end for certain coins?

How do people think the likes of ETH, ADA, XRP, TRON etc will go from here?
What would be the reason why we need to be interested  about shitcoins? those coins you mentioned are the good once and will never dead that sooner.
but what I do believe is that shitcoins or those projects that truly has no future can be considered dead already now.

or maybe better say that trust nothing from those and just listen to old coins that stays in rank top 50 .
The ranking changes regularly and those projects that are now in the top 50 in the next year may be much lower. Even the recent coins that seemed to be promising turned out to be scams. For example TERRA or SOLANA. Or other examples where projects just die - EOS or NEM. I wouldn't invest in shitcoins from top 50 now, because there is a high probability that many of them won't live up to the next cycle.
1429  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin December price on: December 28, 2022, 07:17:41 PM
We still have nothing to say that we have reached the final bottom of this bear season, so a recovery in 2023 is uncertain. With only 3 days left of the year, we can be sure that bitcoin will end the year with a red candle and we will have 4 consecutive red quarters, but there is no sign of bitcoin going up yet in 2023. Looking at the macroeconomic situation, I still predict 2023 is still a bearish year, and we will bottom in 2023. Although the halving will be a time to expect a bull run, depending on the economic situation, the war, and inflation is still there, so it is difficult to expect the bulls to come at the right time.
All possibilities can still occur according to the market reaction to economic growth, inflation and recession. However, when viewed from the previous correction phase, bitcoin is likely to get a sustained recovery in 2023, even though during this recovery bitcoin will also experience a correction. I believe bitcoin will rise above $30K to $60K over the next year as the market reacts to its recovery.

These predictions can be wrong or right and even shift to higher prices, because there is no level of accuracy for speculators or exact predictions, but the cyclical connection can form the basis of the predictions we reveal today. Hopefully in the next year we will see progress towards recovering the price of bitcoin, so that potential investments provide even more maximum returns.

Yes, there's no guarantee that our speculations will come true down the road but what is important is that we are holding hopes that bitcoin will somehow recover somewhere next year. The earlier, the better but again, let's just hope for the better and ride the current while taking any advantage that we can have while it's still selling at a much cheaper price.
I understand that you're expecting the market to recover and will rise above $30k. But I reckon that it's still too much to ask for that, let's wait it to achieve the $20k mark first.
20 and 30k for bitcoin is not much. Remember how bitcoin is able to grow in multiples. 30k is less than x2 of the current price. Another question is that bitcoin doesn't interest investors yet. That will change when the demand appears. So now we really have a good opportunity to accumulate bitcoin in our wallets.
1430  Economy / Speculation / Re: The world is not doing well on: December 28, 2022, 05:40:31 PM
Dollar exchange rate strengthened. Bitcoin is weak.
For those who don't like Bitcoin, don't get excited about this situation just yet. I just want to say that the world is not doing well.
For Bitcoiners, we must be strong and patient with the situation. The world will be ours.
The recent appreciation of the US dollar has devalued local currencies in most of the countries. This has resulted inflation. However, there are many issues behind this dollar price increase. Among them, everyone knows that the influence of Russia and the Ukraine war has brought down the economy of the whole world. Its behavior is not only confined to the economy but also creates uncertainty in the crypto market. The way Bitcoin moves this season of the year, doesn't reflect any of its behavior. For this reason we recognize the entire global situation is now not favorable. The trend of the Bitcoin market will not remain in this state. It will be bullish again but everyone should have patience.
It seems to me that the main reason for the collapse of all markets was the high inflation in the U.S., which was caused by almost uncontrolled printing of dollars and the injection of helicopter money into the economy. Now it is profitable for the U.S. to write off its economic crisis to the war between Russia and Ukraine, but it seems to me that the cause is exactly inflation. Once inflation goes down, the world will probably be fine, too.
1431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: December 28, 2022, 05:02:27 PM
Dortmund - Chelsea is another interesting matchup to me.

Because I believe that this is a matchup between two close teams in strength these days. I think like this because of seeing Chelsea's inadequate performance in the recent times. However they have made a really good return by their Bournemouth game last. It was a completely one-sided game and an easy win. But we saw this from Liverpool as well. They won against the same opponent by an emormous goal difference also but they were still inconsistent later. Therefore we need to watch a few more games to be confident about something.

Dortmund haven't played a game in the Bundesliga yet after the break. If they continue to have the same defensive problems then Chelsea would come one step forward in this matchup for sure.
If this game had been last season, I wouldn't have doubted Chelsea would have won. But now I have my doubts about it. Chelsea are playing horribly this season, even though they were champions not long ago. I think that Borussia Dortmund could get to the quarter, although they also have problems, but still their results so far are much better than Chelsea.
1432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: December 28, 2022, 04:01:14 PM
Nunez is a talented player. But he is unable to adapt himself to the Liverpool team. Liverpool management had high expectations from Nunez. Nunez was brought in by Liverpool as a replacement for Sadio Mane. But he is not playing well. The coach should give Nunez his full support. I believe that with enough support from the coach and if Nunez is diligent, he can play well with Liverpool.
The Liverpool coach actually has to provide support for all the players who have joined the team in every season including this season, which is not only aimed at someone like Darwin Nunez even though the player was brought in to Liverpool to replace Sadio Mane who had gone to the team other. Because Liverpool's target now for the rest of this season is to win more matches by continuing to get points in every game so that they can continue to be in the competitive path with other great teams in the Champions League and also in their own local league.
No chance for liverpool to compete for trophy hence liverpool was only aiming for the champion league trophy and entering into the top 4 EPL to be qualified for UCL next season. Liverpool has made an effort to bring gakpo to the anfield and it must be praised. I thought that with the come of gakpo will give a big change to the play style from liverpool. I see that the main target for liverpool to slowly building the squad again to be the same like when mane was on liverpool. Liverpool was making an alternative solution for that.
However, Liverpool's performance has declined this season. they are trying to improve their squad to be better. now Liverpool's front line is very scary with the arrival of Gakpo.
Hope to compete in UCL. as their next opponent will be in the round of 16 in Madrid. if Liverpool manages to make their team solid before the match against Madrid begins, it will certainly be a very interesting match. because with Liverpool's current game, I think it's quite difficult for Liverpool to get a win over Madrid.
You could say that Liverpool will be revenge for the loss in the final last season, but I think that Real Madrid will win easily in this confrontation. Liverpool are not having the best time in the team, you could even say it's a crisis after Sadio Mane left the club. Now Madrid looks much stronger than Liverpool and I am sure they will win.
1433  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Die or Pump Up in 2023? on: December 28, 2022, 03:10:47 PM
According to Elon Musk, the price of Bitcoin will increase by the end of winter.  And we should not lose hope.  We have to harden our minds.  And everyone needs to hold on to Bitcoin tightly so that it doesn't get traded away from the market.  Whoever has the amount of BTC deposited, rest assured.  And wait, something good will come inshallah.  Inshallah BTC price will increase by mid 2023.  And I believe in Elon Musk's words, so you should continue to believe.  The price will definitely increase.
https://imgur.com/a/XFaaPeI
Not really having to believe and even if Elon Musk said something like that?

We have witnessed bitcoin's journey from its inception to the present, there are several conditional factors that have brought bitcoin to a promising investment in the future and we even believe bitcoin is able to maintain the value of the investments we make.

Bitcoin has a uniqueness that is not owned by any investment at this time, bitcoin decentralization is one of the uniqueness and advantages it has. In fact bitcoin has brought a huge shift from economic growth and independence to an investment choice that is run by people, despite the risks and fluctuations. The investment system in bitcoin runs independently and is fully controlled by every individual involved in it.
Times don't change, when bitcoin goes down, it's dead. When bitcoin goes up, laser eyes appear and people start picking out the new lambo. Plus there are all sorts of public people who skillfully manipulate the herd as they need to. That way most people will just lose their money and not earn if they listen to other people's opinions.
1434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTX collapse: Good or bad for crypto in the long run? on: December 27, 2022, 06:40:37 PM
I personally think that the FTX collapse will be good for Bitcoin, as customer deposits will no longer be liquidated and spent on shitcoins while faking a BTC balance. That being said, I think it will be horrible for shitcoins like SOL & ADA, as suddenly they won’t have money from Bitcoin customers funneled to them and the companies trying to pump them are forced to liquidate their holdings.
It probably won't have much of an impact for shitcoins, because anyone can buy it on other exchanges. Especially since the leaders among trading pairs is Binance. The collapse of FTX affected the crypto market even less than the collapse of LUNA. Which to me became strange. If it didn't have a huge effect on the whole market now, except for some coins like SOL, it definitely won't matter in the future.
1435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? on: December 27, 2022, 05:14:50 PM
When you look at the system now he will understand that the bearish market is still on the distance so I don't really know when the market will recover again we have already entering into 2023 and this bearish market started earlier at 20:22 so I don't know if this will continue in 2023

We cannot tell when the bear market will be over, but based on experience, it will usually be over when people lose their interest in buying, or people already panel and that's the state where we are now. Also, consider the current price, it's very cheap already, so you might want to consider taking this opportunity as you will surely earn a huge profit once the bull market enters.
Now the situation is non-standard. Many miners have capitulated, something that has never happened even in the worst bitcoin bear markets. The network's hashrate is constantly decreasing, miners are going bankrupt and selling off BTC. Buyer demand for coins does not appear, the price is squeezed in a narrow range. It all looks like a time bomb.
1436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: December 27, 2022, 03:52:08 PM
Psg next game will be against strasbourg the team on the 19th position the only win they got this season is against the last team angers its a difficult situation they are in despite how well they performed last season, i think psg coach will give rest to some players especially messi and mbappe i expect psg team to win even without them.

PSG will be able to win their matche against Strasbourg whether they play with Messi and Mbappe or not. PSg has quality players which Strasbourg doesn't have.
The Epl started today and big clubs won their first match, it is expected that when legue 1 resumes, PSG should also be able to win their first match.
Strasbourg was at the bottom. PSG didn't even need to use its main starting line up to be able to win against strasbourg. Can we call that PSG will get fullpoints easily from strasbourg? I personally think that the result can be known easily even with hearing the name of team that will be faced in the next match of french league. PSG is dominating everything here.
Interestingly, the last meeting between PSG and Strasbourg ended in a 3-3 draw. That is, PSG could not earn three points in a match against an outsider. I do not know what will happen tomorrow, but I am sure that after the World Cup Mbappe and Messi are in great shape and ready to play for their club again. I also think that PSG has no problem to beat Strasbourg in the first match of the second half of the season.
1437  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 2022 low again? on: December 26, 2022, 06:43:55 PM
No, we are nearing the end of the year and bitcoin is also slowing down, so I predict we have bottomed in 2022. As for the market situation in 2023, I think we will see declines rather than bulls as we head into the new year. There is no sign that the market will get better in the coming days.
If you don't think there's a sign of a next year's uptick in Bitcoin, have you seen a lot of signs of a drop in Bitcoin's price over the next year? Because I really can't make precise predictions at certain times for increases and decreases in Bitcoin. So these are the two possibilities that are still hard to tell when I'm still in 2022. I'd like to know what kind of picture you're seeing for the Bitcoin market so say we're going to see a decline rather than an increase in the next year

I don't know what his prediction is based on, but I agree with him, we will end the year with bitcoin moving sideways between 16k-18k almost a certainty. I also predict Q1 and Q2 2023 we will have a new bottom, the reason will be the same as 2022. The external impact is that the world economy will continue to be difficult, the battle will be more fierce when the US increases aid to Ukraine, and inflation is still very high, although it has decreased in the past 2 months. In terms of the market, Fuds of Binance is definitely going to be long-term and there is a chance that BNB will correct sharply, bitcoin will definitely be impacted, and FTX is not over yet. Bad news still surrounds the market.
I really wonder why you think the first two quarters will be a new bottom? It seems to me that the maximum negative things happened in 2022. The FUD about Binance is fabricated and I don't think it will last. Inflation has declined and will probably continue to slow early next year. I think the first half of the year will be positive for cryptocurrencies because the bear market has been going on for over a year. I expect a reversal in 2023 and it is unlikely there will be a new bottom.
1438  Economy / Speculation / Re: ELON sold his TSLA stock for $3.5billion. Will he re-buy BTC soon? on: December 26, 2022, 05:10:41 PM
Why would anyone care about him selling his stock and why do you think Elon would invest in bitcoin? There is no connection for this and bitcoin is not the only thing that can turn a profit for him. He became a billionaire before investing in bitcoin, it's not like we expect bitcoin to make us billionaires.
It must be at least strange, when the owner of such a large company sells the stocks he owns. Such influential people don't do that without a reason. He probably knows something, maybe in the future he can buy his stocks back at a discount. About bitcoins, he's a bitcoin enthusiast who started the last bull season. So a lot of people expect him to be able to repeat such a party again.
1439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to blame on: December 26, 2022, 02:10:25 PM
KYC issue might trigger the crypto regulation since the government wants to know who owns crypto and know who are not declaring it as their profit, hard to blame anyone here and maybe this is already part of the system as we continue to grow. Some site are still KYC free though even if they have the licensed from the government agency, but sooner or later they will ask for it and many gamblers have no more choice but to deal with it.
Well, it's just for the sake of regulation itself and mostly applied to casinos. Even on the fiat casinos online, they also ask for KYC and that's why it's necessary even in the crypto casinos.
But what you said is connected to it, they also might want to track those that owns crypto and they might tax them later if they're not filing for their income tax.
I dont think that casinos will cooperate with the government to make customers pay taxes. In my opinion it is not in the interest of online casinos to attract the interest of the government to their site. On the contrary, it is profitable for them to register a site in the jurisdiction where there will be less problems with the government. So I don't think that KYC is introduced because of taxes.
1440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: December 26, 2022, 12:34:58 PM
Manchester City may not be performing well in Europe. However, winning the Europa League title is not easy for Arsenal. Renowned teams like Manchester United, Barcelona and Ajax will perform in the Europa League. And each of these teams has the ability to beat Arsenal. It is difficult to maintain form after a long break. If the bonding between Arsenal's players weakens, their performance will suffer. I am looking forward to see how they perform against West Ham in the next match.
Manchester City is playing on Champions League, not Europa League.

I don't expect Manchester United and Ajax will become a winner, Barcelona is more promising since Lewandowski can carry his club. However don't only look on popular clubs only, I think Fenerbache and Feyenoord could be a threat for any clubs since they're have a good strikers. Fenerbache have Irfan Kahveci while Feyenoord have Danilo and Gimenez.
Barcelona must beat Manchester United to bring them closer to the title target. This season's Europa League is very competitive, there are so many top clubs there. Apart from Fenerbache and Feyenoord, there are other big clubs that have enlivened the competition such as Bayern Leverkusen, Juventus, Roma and Arsenal.
Arsenal have entered one of the top teams after performing well this season. It is very difficult for any name team to enter the final. They must always look impressive to be the best of all the clubs that appear in the Europa League.
Manchester United is performing poorly against strong clubs this year. I don't think they can win against Barcelona. This will probably be one of the most interesting matches. If Barcelona can beat Manchester United, we can probably say that they can win the Europa League. Especially since Barcelona is now playing better than Real Madrid in La Liga.
