1461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just how bad is the bear market right now? on: December 20, 2022, 08:00:33 PM
Every body before investing need to educate himself on the 4 year cycle that works around the bitcoin halving. And a little advice buy low and sell high but yes, it’s almost time to buy. I believe ETH will drop slightly under $1000 but you never now. Do your own research and don’t believe on YouTube because I’m certain 95% of them are just guessing.
Good advice to buy low and sell high. But perhaps even you don't always manage to do that. Although I agree that now might be a good time to buy cryptocurrencies because so many altcoins are at a historic low. But if something goes wrong and the market falls even lower after buying, not many people will be able to handle the panic. If everyone bought low and sold high, everyone would be rich.
1462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins is a good way to keep and save money or not? on: December 20, 2022, 07:12:04 PM
Yes it is. You can trade them on decentralized exchanges. You can stake them some places for small percentages. You can pair them with other coins in liquidity pools and/or farm for larger percentages but it’s riskier
That is possible where you can stake or whatever you decided to do and stablecoins have other uses like when you have crypto such as Bitcoin. Example, let's say that Bitcoin's price is at $60k and it show a sign that it is decreasing where you have 1 BTC valued at $60k so, in order to keep the value the same then the best choice you have is to buy stablecoins then you still have $60k ( I know the value won't be the same because exchange sites have conversion/trading fee when you are buying or selling crypto using their platform.
It's easy to say now, knowing what it was in the past and that you had to sell bitcoin at 60k to buy now at 16k, but at the time few people did as you said. You probably didn't do it yourself either, because you didn't know that such a big drop would happen in the future. But now I can guess that buying bitcoins would be more efficient than just holding stablecoins.
1463  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: December 20, 2022, 12:30:17 PM
Remember, recommending to friends or family is a good thing, but always say that investment in Bitcoin is at high risk, never invite or encourage to buy, most people if profit will be silent but when loss will talk a lot and blame, I have ever experienced it , when introducing Bitcoin to friends and he invest around $ 4500 then in 2 months loses more than 20% he always blames me and thinks that I am not responsible.
I don't think anyone should be advised to buy bitcoin or stocks or gold or anything else. In that case, no one will blame you for the failures. After all, if something goes wrong, you will be blamed if your friend or relative loses money. In fact, why would you recommend anyone anything? If you are so sure that you are right, buy bitcoin and prove it by deed, not by advice.
1464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: December 20, 2022, 09:48:04 AM
France lost a chance to be a first team can protect their trophy after Brazil many years ago. Mbappe will return to PSG with bad mood and relationship with Messi and Neymar. Neymar congratulated Messi but did not show anything for Mbappe.

Will PSG be able to win Champions League with internal conflict of their biggest attacking players?
Don't forget Mbappe is the most important player in PSG and he has a control to choose his teammates, managers etc, this mean Mbappe can request to put Messi on bench until he's satisfied with his revenge. Technically PSG has the best strikers among other clubs since they have Messi and Mbappe who become man of the match from the final world cup, while Neymar is also important for Brazil.

I think PSG is currently have an awkward situation or internal conflict between Mbappe and Messi, it just depends on Mbappe ego, he's young and a selfish person, so he can't control his own emotion.
I think Mbappe doesn't really have a problem with Messi and people are just making up drama to sell more papers that's it, and get more views. Look at how they play together, of course Mbappe would be unhappy about the fact that he lost to Messi, that is only human but he is grown enough to know that this is football and Messi has to work hard to beat Mbappe, that's the goal of playing, anyone in the entire world that plays against Mbappe will play to beat him, that's the nature of the game.

All in all he accepted a huge deal from PSG, biggest ever, and we are going to just have to accept that Messi is there for a while longer as well, and they will play together without an issue.
Mbappe's situation is the opposite of Messi's. He, too, wanted very much to win the Cup and did his best. He scored all three goals in that game, making him the second to get a hat-trick at the World Cup. He's only 24 and already doing very well, and unlike Messi, he's already had a world title. I'm sure he'll be just as great a footballer, if he isn't already. About their relationship with Messi, I don't think they will have any disagreements within the club, they are both normal people, not like Ronaldo or Ibrahimovich.
1465  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin December price on: December 19, 2022, 04:22:50 PM
December is about 12 days left, and the current price is around $16600, it doesn't look like there will be any big surprises, maybe the highest price still to be reached is $19k, and the lowest is probably $15k, any option from that price then i won't sell bitcoin, probably will buy more and hold long term.
Why are you still thinking about the big surprise in December?
Did someone say anything about the big December shock in Bitcoin? To be honest, personally I never thought that December was the month that surprised everyone via Bitcoin, because an increase in the price of Bitcoin itself did not only occur in December, but in other months besides December it could also occur. So there is no need to think that December is the month that surprised everyone via Bitcoin.
Some people well remember 2017, when there was a great rise not only in bitcoin but also in altcoins. To be fair, it was at that time that most users of this forum came to know about cryptocurrency. That's probably why many are expecting the price to rise in December. I was also hoping that December would be green, but judging by recent events this year will be one of the worst years in bitcoin history.
1466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 19, 2022, 03:12:59 PM
more precisely tense when argentina won 2 goals then mbappe scored 2 goals to draw the score, then in extra time when argentina came back ahead then france got a penalty prize and mbappe was able to execute it well and finally they had a penalty shootout, but i believe this year's world cup this belongs to argentina and france will not get its world cup in a row, congrats to argentina
Argentina started the game better than France, so they could go ahead. But France came back in the second half and equalized in record time, and both goals were scored by Kylian Mbappe who has been outstanding at the World Cup. Actually many opportunities were created from each country, but their two goalkeepers performed very well apart from the 3 goals that were created against them. It's a much anticipated final.
The fighting spirit of the French players surprised all the Argentinian fans, France managed to equalize in no time. Argentine players who really wanted to win the match continued to look for loopholes after the score became 2-2, Argentina was able to beat France through Messi action, again Mbappe managed to equalize through his hat-trick.
Luckily, Argentina has a goalkeeper like Emiliano Martinez who was able to thwart two penalty kicks from French players that made Argentina win.
Yes, this match was not just between Argentina and France, but also between Mbappe and Messi. And I think Mbappe played much better, or France as a whole played worse than Argentina. Of the French team I can't say anything about anyone other than Mbappe. Even Llaurice didn't play very well. So France are lucky to have Kylian Mbappe, without him they would have lost badly.
1467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Dogecoin Dead ? on: December 19, 2022, 02:20:46 PM
I think you can say any coin is dead now, not just doge. Exactly the same was true before the previous pump in 2020 when all crypto was at the bottom. No one could have imagined then that doge would make such a huge rise. Now that everything is down again, many say this or that coin is dead. But that will all change when the bulls come in.
1468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Crypto With a Job.. on: December 18, 2022, 06:51:16 PM
it is wise to have multiple source of income, no need to leave your work unless you have a 80% win rate from 100 trades. Also dont stick with a single exchange site
Having two sources of income, one of which is trading and the other is your main job, will not work either. You won't be able to trade properly with your main job. It's another matter if you just invest in cryptocurrencies for some part of your salary. It is more likely to be a win-win scenario in the future. 80% of successful trades are fantastic. It's impossible in the long term.
1469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTX collapse: Good or bad for crypto in the long run? on: December 18, 2022, 05:44:00 PM
The fall of cryptocurrency exchange of such magnitude is not good for cryptocurrency world as it generates and spreads FUD about crypto. This will bring a setback to acceptability cryptocurrency is currently enjoying. And the new individuals who are yet to be in crypto might lose interest in it.
I think you are wrong, because scam exchanges are unlikely to affect the credibility of cryptocurrencies. Creating different pyramid schemes cannot affect the trust in the money in your bank account, it is the same with crypto. FTX scam has certainly impacted the price and will probably do so again if any new details come to light, but it won't affect the credibility of crypto in any way.
1470  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop the panic, I doubt we will see 14k or less Bitcoin on: December 18, 2022, 05:02:13 PM
Bitcoin has crossed all processes ranging from not having prices to reaching the highest price and now Bitcoin is known as the most valuable asset. And where are they now? Those in the case you convey.
We still want to reminisce with the usual joke, where the price of one bitcoin is not much cheaper than the price of a pizza, so let's imagine the current price of bitcoin which leaves such a long history since its launch. But rest assured, bitcoin has shown resistance to travel, thus making it a promising investment commodity, able to maintain investment value and place the only asset that is quite promising at this time.

Even today we have celebrated forum birthdays several times using Pizza.
Pretty entertaining isn't it!!!
Indeed, in its not very long history, bitcoin has proved to be a solid investment, but that can only be said for early investors. For those people who bought into a hype because of fomo are losing trust in cryptocurrencies. And there are more such investors than those who make reasonable purchases. I don't know what will happen with cryptocurrencies in five or ten years, but I notice that interest in it is decreasing.
1471  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Speculated] Barry Silbert dump on: December 18, 2022, 02:48:11 PM
A coin dump did happen on Friday, but not just the ones you mentioned. I looked at the ZEC chart and saw long wicks from the candles there. In my opinion this could be a positive thing. That is, the coin was sold on panic and then someone bought well a few times. If there is interest in the coin, it means there will be growth in the future. As for Barry Silbert, I think this is a rumour that is often circulated now. Someone else's bitcoin sales won't have much impact on the market.
1472  Economy / Speculation / Re: ELON sold his TSLA stock for $3.5billion. Will he re-buy BTC soon? on: December 18, 2022, 01:25:08 PM
On the contrary, when we speculated that he could have bought some bitcoin, the price suddenly goes down.

So it make sense that we really don't know for sure that Elon sold his stocks to rebuy bitcoin, this is very far from what we have witnessed in the last couple of days. Dumps after dumps pulling the price again to $16,750. And so we shouldn't treat Elon's every move to be very positive with bitcoin. Maybe he is really out of the picture and will not re-buy anymore. Or if there are crypto that we will opt to buy, maybe it's not bitcoin.
The price usually falls and grows back just in case someone big wants to buy bitcoins. Especially since Elon has long been known to manipulate cryptocurrencies. But I don't think he's buying bitcoin now either, because I'm sure he bought it a long time ago and now he has no need to buy coins again. As for Tesla, we will find out about the purchase or sale in the next report.
1473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 18, 2022, 08:55:52 AM
I think France will win the tournament. Messi is a great player (nowhere near of being the greatest of all times though) but football is a game of team play and France simply have a better team than Argentina's national football team. I'll probably make a bet on France's victory in a few hours. They deserved to win this tournament.

My score prediction is 3-1 France. There won't be any goals in the first half.
somehow I also seem to have the same thought when talking about solidity in teamwork. France from the qualifying round has shown a game with good teamwork. also has a very fast attack. But when talking about individual abilities. I myself see that the Argentine players have an advantage in this regard. I will predict that Argentina will be the winner in the match. the score I predict is 1-0 in the first half over the superiority of France. and 1-2 in the second half over Argentina's advantage until the final minute. I want to hear score predictions from others?
I also think France will win, but I don't expect many goals in this game. Usually in games like this the teams play very close. So far, neither Argentina nor France have had any mistakes in recent games, but if anyone can find a weakness in the final, they will win. The play of both teams will depend on Messi and Mbappe as their main forwards.
1474  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could this be the bottom of Bitcoin? on: December 17, 2022, 07:53:46 PM
And now the bitcoin price has dropped below 17k, so there is no hope of a bull run by year-end. What I'm thinking is that with all the negative news flooding the market, we're going to have a new bottom at the start of the new year and maybe that will be the last bottom we face.
What makes people think about the Bull run at the end of the year? Because I myself never thought about the bull run that could happen at the end of the year. And if you look at last year's example, in April Bitcoin had a bull run and then in November for the second bull run in a year. Now, for this year, I don't think there will be another bull run because the already very large decline in Bitcoin makes the possibility of another bull run getting smaller this year.
I assume that the current price range could be higher than the expected bottom. The fact alone gives me confidence that next year will be better. It is the red annual candle on the chart. So far in bitcoin history, there have never been two red annual candles in a row. So I hope this pattern will not break.
1475  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price 2023 on: December 17, 2022, 11:13:26 AM
The price of bitcoin continues to decline after ATH that occurred a year ago, especially many big cases that made investors panic and sell assets cheaply, but we deserve to be optimistic that the price of bitcoin is easy to recover so do not panic to sell at low prices.
They shouldn't panic if they see bitcoin prices continue to decline to the current price point, especially if they have experienced it before, because it is a test for bitcoin before it rises again. And the price increase later can be higher than the last ATH so they have to prepare themselves to have more bitcoins than before. Wise investors always know what to do in these conditions because they already have enough experience to anticipate the conditions that are happening. We can follow that wise investor by buying bitcoin while the price is still low.
I don't know many people right now who buy bitcoin as a long-term investment. Even if the halving happens in two years, I still don't see bitcoin being of interest to big investors. There is a lot of uncertainty in the world, so it is hard to say what the price will be next year. Maybe it will be 4k, then buying now would not be smart. I would wait for a sideways price movement and then buy. Until the fall is over, it is dangerous to buy.
1476  Economy / Speculation / Re: ELON sold his TSLA stock for $3.5billion. Will he re-buy BTC soon? on: December 17, 2022, 09:09:43 AM
Elon is now a clear overall bear since he expects a global recession according to his latest tweet. He must have sold his BTCs as well (along with tesla) in loss which he bought at 38-39k area. I wish he gets rekt (atleast by btc, if not stonks), and learns his lesson the hard way 😁. Dont pay too much attention to his words, he cant control the market for long even if he is the richest man on planet. 😉
Yes, he has other problems now, and it seems to me that after the purchase of Twitter, as well as the huge losses of Tesla, Elon is definitely not interested in bitcoin right now. He is one of the richest people on the planet and a successful businessman, and such people invest in safer assets in times of crisis. I don't know if he sold bitcoins and at what price he bought it, but I wouldn't trust him either.
1477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 16, 2022, 05:44:28 PM
Yes, I will be neutral in the final match later. I will not support either of these two teams (France-Argentina). Because it doesn't matter who wins. and what is expected is that the match will be interesting and not boring. I expect a lot of goals in the match. it will be very exciting if these two teams return each other in scoring goals. However, if you remember Messi's situation, it is said that Messi will probably play for the last time in the World Cup. then surely many expect Argentina to win.
Don't expect a lot of goals in the final match, you should know that both teams have a good defense with only 5 goals conceded from all matches until both teams reach the final. France have relatively younger attackers and have good pace and acceleration in Mbappe and Dembele, while Argentina will probably just rely on the individual skills of Messi and Alvarez who are sometimes easier to stop with physical contact or a few clean tackles.

I know many people will favor France for all the abilities of its players, but I think Argentina should never be underestimated either. France as the defending champion will make efforts to defend the title, but Argentina will fight to win it because of the determination of its players.
I wouldn't be sure there won't be many goals. Of course usually such serious games are played very carefully to avoid mistakes, but Argentina and France are two attacking teams. If a quick goal happens, one of the teams will have to take their chances. And the previous games have been played with an array of goals. France scored two, Argentina three.
1478  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bottom prediction? on: December 16, 2022, 03:11:43 PM
I don't want to be too pessimistic, but seeing that this cycle is the worst in terms of returns in percentage terms so far, I think we can go lower. I think the absolute minimum we could reach would be around $10k. I think that is a round number that would trigger mass buy orders, an extremely strong support, in the same way that in the next cycle, when we approach $100k I think there is going to be a very strong resistance, with a lot of sell orders and it is going to take several attempts to beat it.
I agree with you, although I don't believe bitcoin will fall much lower than it is now. But as long as there is only negative news in the market, I see no reason for growth. I am also starting to think that in case of new collapses, the price may fall below 10k. Right now the price is at a good support level. If this is broken, a free fall could start.
1479  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin December price on: December 16, 2022, 12:07:34 PM
December has been running half and it seems that the hope to see the market rising will not occur in December, the number of FUDS after 2 big cases namely FTX and Luna makes us panic and think that Bitcoin will continue to drop, but a good thing is Bitcoin can still survive from pressure.

Definitely, we can survived from this pressure, the market is just testing everyone, so it's up to us whether to hold or sell when the price goes down. For sure we know the pros and cons of selling and buying in this bear market. And as much as others think that it's better to sell, then think again, it's the right time to accumulate.

So for this December, the price could be $17k, no more increased but the good thing is that it seems that the FUD around the FTX and Luna has subsided and so we will not find any sudden downside of the price till the end of this year.
The FUD around FTX is really coming to an end, but yesterday there was new news that supposedly the US will introduce a new law that will oblige all crypto wallets to be verified. I don't know how true it is, but if it happens, the price might fall even lower than it is now. But if you put it another way, the pumping always ends where it started. In bitcoin's history, that's about 10k. So it is possible that the price will go back to where it started rising in 2020, when Elon Musk started pumping.
1480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 15, 2022, 08:50:57 PM

Hi guys, I am bit confused here, can someone be so kind enough to explain to me what's going on there?
What is Croatia and Morocco doing in the finals?
I thought this two teams have been eliminated and we are currently waiting for the grand finale with Argentina vs france, but I was surprised to still see Croatia vs Morocco in a December 17th game schedule, saw it somewhere else first and thought it was an error from the platform, then I went on stake and also saw the same thing.

What exactly does the that game scheduled between Croatia vs Morocco mean?
This game will be for third place. The most important match is of course the final between Argentina and France, but for Morocco and Croatia it will also be an important game, especially for Morocco, who have never made it this far in the World Cup. They will probably beat Croatia although Croatia has more experience in such matches as in the last World Cup they played France in the final and came in second place.
