1541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? on: November 29, 2022, 08:12:24 PM
Those small pumps are just fake breakout I will not be very confident until I see the bitcoin price down atleast -85% or lower as the previous bear market recorded, once hit this possibly we already reached the bottom as predicted by many pro traders.
The current drop is about 80% from the previous high of 70k. So the price is now near the bottom, if you stick to your model. So if bitcoin falls to 10k, that would be exactly 85%. That seems like a realistic scenario to me, but probably if such a price happens, it will be very short term and you need to buy very fast, like it was in 2020.
1542  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will BTC's market price go? on: November 29, 2022, 04:04:32 PM
You know how bitcoin and most altcoins are built around speculation  Roll Eyes at the moment, there are just too many negative factors harboring around, which haven't given any chance for bitcoin to have a break to start the recovery process. You can imagine, while we were still feeling the impact of FTX and about to forget them and get on with our lives... BlockFi files for bankruptcy which tells me the dust from FTX hasn't settled and more damage could be done.... From this we could see price go as low as 14k or so, am just hoping we don't see 10K again after so many years  Cry
News about BlockFi has already spread everywhere, but so far the price has not reacted negatively and even on the contrary the market is in the green today. I don't know, maybe the reaction will happen later, but I think it's strange that many coins are rising today despite the negative news. I also think that the bad things are not over yet and there will be many more interesting things to come.
1543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 29, 2022, 12:36:26 PM
Portugal is looking promised to going to the next round after beating Uruguay 2-0, every eye in the world is on Ronaldo because the moment is the same as when he got fired from MU which I think this opportunity will make him enthusiastic to show that he is still around and capable to make the team win with perfect. As we know, Bruno is a hero for this time he is the man of the match, but in 1st goal, if Ronaldo didn't do a little bluff maybe 1st goal didn't happen, and if Ronaldo didn't substitution, the 2nd goal will create by Ronaldo on Penalty. but, it's going to happen, Portugal has won and able to the next round.

So, no doubt to bet England tonight because they are superior of all lines.

Wales and England have never met at a World Cup and if we are to believe the statistics on head-to-head encounters, Wales have never beaten England in a major competition. Wales probably won't win today and that's not surprising judging from their recent games. I think the much more interesting match will be between Iran and USA from this group.
1544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are stablecoins safe? on: November 28, 2022, 07:56:14 PM
I don't think stable coins are that safe, especially after the fiasco of Luna and some other stables that depegged. But til a better option is available, it is the best tool we have right now in case of a DCA

Of course, nothing is 100% safe, but let's not compare stable coins with Luna... I didn't even know about the Luna before their fiasco, I saw the first complaints here and I was thinking "where did this come from?"! Who was crazy enough to go for some Luna, after reading about Luna I didn't see anything special there except some "big words". But people still invested heavily and many lost a lot of money.

Stablecoins are just stablecoins, in the end, we use them to "get in & out" from some coins/tokens, there's no reason to hold them for too long. Some of the stablecoins are around for years without any issues, so even though there's a risk we all use them and we will probably continue to use them.
This was not specifically about LUNA but about the UST algorithmic stablecoin. Both failed and a lot of people lost a lot of money. Not only ordinary users went bankrupt, but also some large funds. It's very strange that you haven't heard about it. LUNA and UST had a big capitalisation and one can say that these events started the market crash that we see today.
1545  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin cycles, this is the cyclical minimum on: November 28, 2022, 02:59:57 PM
While I do agree that Bitcoin is likely at it's bottom or very close to it at this point, and the only way to go from here is up, I do not think fiat is at its last fume or that it's going to zero and then Bitcoin would become the global currency. Fiat has been suffering poor fiscal policies fobnany decades now and losing value for same, but with the current financial system, it is needed for the world to function as it does now.

Bitcoin as a alternative asset would not replace the banking sector, but would be an option for those who want to escape the fiat rat race, where money losses value faster than you can earn it. It would also give freedom to those who do not want to be at the mercy of third parties and governments.
It seems to me that to say that bitcoin is now at the bottom is just as likely as bitcoin to hit its bottom around 5k. In other words, it has the same 50/50 chance. No one knows how the price will behave or what else might happen in the industry. It seems to me that the chain of events such as LUNA crash or FTX scam is not over yet and we may see something worse, like Michael Saylor crash or something like that.

OH MY GOD. really interesting match. the current score is 3-3. between Cameroon vs Serbia. I thought Cameroon would be discouraged at first. when the score was still 3-1 over Serbia's advantage. but it seems Cameroon can still maintain the mental stability of their game. At first I wanted to skip this game. but after I saw at the beginning of the match the two teams were so aggressive in carrying out attack after attack. so I can't stop watching.
This is what it means to have a professional coach who makes a timely and successful change. I also thought that the outcome of this game was decided after the third goal from Serbia. But Cameroon managed to equalise and almost scored the winning goal. But perhaps a draw in this match was deserved for both teams.
1547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 28, 2022, 11:02:21 AM
Monday 28th November
Cameroon 1 0 Serbia
Korea Republic 13:00 Ghana
Brazil 16:00 Switzerland
Portugal 19:00 Uruguay

Games of the day, Cameroon just scored!

Source: https://www.skysports.com/world-cup-fixtures
It didn't take long for Cameroon to lead the game. Serbia managed to score two counter goals and now the score is 1-2 in the second half. I don't know who will win this game, but I think it will be Serbia. Although Cameroon are playing well too and might be able to equalise. But I am surprised at how well the Serbs are playing. This game is a bit like Croatia's game.
1548  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop the panic, I doubt we will see 14k or less Bitcoin on: November 27, 2022, 08:01:28 PM
Firstly, hello many experienced writers here, FUD Fear, uncertainly, doubt. they knew their meaning and were prepared for this temporary fix. Even if bitcoin drops below $10k, it's okay, bitcoin has already proven itself, going through this cycle over and over. Thanks to this cycle, many unethical businesses such as centralized exchanges, cex or meme tokens are removed from the market. Bitcoin may be affected in price during this cycle, but the more it falls, the more the spring stretches.
You can talk about the fall for a very long time, but fear and panic can reappear again and again. I am sure that even your nerves can suffer when you see price lows over a long period of time. Many people suffer from this, so it is taken advantage of by those who can manipulate the price. Only when the most resilient start to doubt, that's when the reversal will happen.
1549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 27, 2022, 07:15:30 PM
Croatia played a very good match and showed its quality, which many doubted.
Canada can be happy that they didn't lose even with a much bigger score.
Canada missed its chance in the match against Belgium.
It seems to me that Morocco and Croatia will pass from this group to the knockout stage of the competition, and that Belgium has very little chance.
Who could have expected such an outcome before the start of the world cup?
Croatia took charge of the match from the beginning to the final whistle. I feel sorry for Canada. They lack momentum.  If Kramaric had not been substituted I could have bet that he would have gotten a hat trick. Looking forward to Spain's match. Hopefully Germany gets to have their revenge against the 6 nil loss they experienced 2 years ago.

The Croatian team deserves this win after showing a master-class performance against the Canadiens, I can't believe that Croatia could win the game after conceding an early goal in the 2minutes of the game but I think the goal motivated them to take control of the game from the first half down to the full time of the game. 10 shots on goal but 4 beautiful goals scored and two goals coming from the man Andrej Kramaric who is going to be voted the man of the match if am not mistaken, I believe the coach substituted Andrej Kramaric so he could be feet in their next match otherwise we should have gotten the first world cup hat- trick from him.

Spain and Germany match is unpredictable but I think Germany needs to heal because they have been wounded in this competition.
The Croatian team once again showed their fans that they are capable of beating their opponents, no matter who says what. And even Canada's goal, which initially put Croatia's victory in this game in doubt, only added to Kramaric's excitement. Croatia are a mature team, but they play better than Belgium. They didn't play in the last World Cup final for nothing.
1550  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto exchange wars going on... FTX vs Binance on: November 27, 2022, 01:22:03 PM
This war is actually over and we wait for the next war, when the competition is very tight will certainly make people look for weaknesses from opponents, and the Exchanges war like FTX vs Binance will make investors panic so that it will make a market drop.
I don't think it was a war, because there is no point in going to war with a monopoly in this market. It was more like shooting yourself in the foot. I also think this story made it clear to everyone else that Binance is the main player in this market and they can do whatever they want to their rivals. It's very sad for the whole industry as everything depends literally on one person - CZ.
1551  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hacker of FTX dumping ETH for BTC on: November 26, 2022, 06:52:27 PM
My understanding is that the hacker is using Bitcoin and ChipMixer the launder his stolen funds. This sort of thing is terrible for the Bitcoin community as it will only shine negative light on the infrastructure and lead to industry damaging regulation as a result to try and put a stop to these bad actors. It’s like FTX existed only to fuck over customers and lead to damaging regulation while funding the democrats with stolen funds. You paying attention yet?
I'm not quite sure why you say ChipMixer was used in this story. Although it is specifically designed for this kind of action and it's probably not the worst thing that has been done with this mixer. But the mixer has been around for a long time now and has not yet had any negative impact. I don't have a negative attitude towards such things, after all it is not only cryptocurrencies that are used to do bad acts.
1552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Solana rise again? on: November 26, 2022, 06:07:21 PM
Most of what I have seen is that there are a lot of people talking negatively about Solana, after the collapse of the FTX platform and its bankruptcy, as Solana lost millions of dollars and Solana was unable to recover its balances, and I see that Solana coin has become a victim of this storm, as it lost more than half of its value in less than a month, frankly There will be a great risk in Solana coin investment, so everyone should not enter with big money. For me, I will invest a small amount in it, perhaps we will find something positive in its price in the short term that reflects all expectations.
Many people are just as negative about solana after this unfinished project experienced difficulties with their blockchain or because of scam applications that stole record amounts of money. So it's not surprising that even more people started to hate solana after FTX collapsed. I also think it's a dead project in the future and will quickly have a replacement.
1553  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will BTC's market price go? on: November 26, 2022, 12:50:50 PM
Well we can’t really say how low will BTC's market price go which is why I understand some investors are very concerned with buying on the dip and selling on the high.  My focus these days is more about finding investments opportunities I firmly believe in and hold long.

For example, as a strong believer in Bitcoin I have rarely fixated much on the price. I have bought at high points and low points but have consistently made money. I think this strategy has served me well because it take away the guess work and greatly reduces risk.

It is a good strategy to constantly buy and accumulate bitcoin, no matter what price you buy it at. It's probably the best investment at the moment, especially when you can buy at a low price like now. Few people realise that the lower the price falls, the more you can buy so that you can sell for much more in the next cycle. So guessing the bottom doesn't make sense. It is better to think about buying as much as possible.
1554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are stablecoins safe? on: November 26, 2022, 09:48:35 AM
Some Stable coins are safe as far as crypto system remians like Usdc and Dai which are backed by. Usdt and some others stable coins are not fuy secure and any time it can rugged like Ustc. After Ftx collapse I withdraw my 80% stable coin to fiat and now just using 20% for trading etc.
It seems to me that these stabelcoins are safe until something bad happens. LUNA UST, for example, was also said to be safe and no one could take your money from you. But trouble came when it wasn't supposed to. USDC is centralized, so your funds can be blocked, just like USDT. I agree about DAI, it is the only decentralized stable that is fine for now, but nobody knows what can happen with it in the future.
1555  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is likely to head towards a price of $13,000 on: November 26, 2022, 09:02:36 AM
As long as you not sell your coins, you wouldn't suffer losses since it's still an unrealized loss. I think people who invest in Bitcoin didn't really care on the next year where there many rumor that economy will be in bad condition because they're looking for long term holding. Since Bitcoin's fundamental is really strong and Bitcoin has been declared "dead" for so many times, but in the end Bitcoin will comeback and recover. This make they're trust Bitcoin 100%, just accumulate every dip if you have idle money.

You said it right, no matter if Bitcoin hits 13k or even slips down below 10K, you don't need to worry ,if you don't sell it & continue holding it, but we are all human being & get upset  when we see our unrealized loss is growing in bear market. It is better not to watch trading screen daily if you are long term investor.

Though Bitcoin is currently trading above pivot point (16,563) on weekly chart, but trading volumes are low due to weekend, let's watch and wait how it plays out next week.

I think we should look at the price not next week but next year. Right now things are really moving towards the fact that we might see 13500 soon, because every day there is more and more negativity in the market and the end of the FTX story is not yet known. It seems to me that this is the main pending bomb right now.
1556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market will come back bigger again on: November 25, 2022, 07:59:59 PM
I'm also considering the fact that this bear market will not stay for long, that's true that there's no short success ladder in crypto, always have an option of buying long-term assets that will grow within 2-3 years. Process in crypto takes time the market is volatile and can change from great to worst, it is a matter of perception in this time of crypto crisis.
We'll see by next year if the bear market won't stay that long. Last 2020 when the halving has happened, the bull has already started during that year even if the expectation is really going to start by 2021. Well, the bull run started from 2020 up to 2021 and its end.
By 2023 we'll just a year from the halving(2024) and we might expect that it will be the start of the next bull run and the same might happen until 2025.
If we look at recent cycles, so too has the growth been after the bear market of 2018. In 2019-2020 there was a multiple growth of the entire market up to March 2020 before the collapse. That is, every two years there was a rise or a rebound, whichever one is comfortable to call it. So we could see a bounce as early as 2023. I think it could happen in the second half of 2023.
1557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are stablecoins safe? on: November 25, 2022, 06:20:57 PM
Nothing is safe as long as they are under cryptocurrency

Stop blabbering, crypto currency is not an authority to say there is something under them and the term crypto currency is generally used to address the decentralized peer to peer mode of transaction which is completely safe no matter what.

Stable coins aren't really a cryptocurrency they are using blockchain technology but hold high risk than fiat.
You also contradict your own words. Cryptocurrency is a blockchain and stabelcoins are built on the blockchain of different projects like ETH or TRX, BNB, LUNA Cheesy. Except there is no security in any of these projects. I will not talk about LUNA. But BNB and ETH can block your funds, so using stablecoins cannot be called safe for any of us.
1558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 25, 2022, 12:10:53 PM
Iran....

What a goal!!!
Just 90+8' Roozbeh Cheshmi

Again Goal!!!!
90+11' Ramim Rezaeian

Watching today's game I was forced to say that Iran v Wales might be a draw but the drama changed with three minutes to go.  Just dramatically, Iran created a miracle in the match by scoring two consecutive goals.

Congratulations IRAN

Wales played even worse in the second half than in the first. I thought they could win, but the match commentator made an interesting point about Wales not winning a World Cup match in the last 60 years. They've either lost or drawn. That's a huge statistic and speaks volumes. And Iran played much better today and had more opportunities.
1559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 25, 2022, 10:56:01 AM
The first matches of the group stage of the World Cup have been completed. I think the most surprising result came from Argentina and Germany. Argentina might manage to get out of the group. Because the other opponents in their group are weaker. But Germany have very tough matches. They cannot easily beat Spain. They will probably beat Costa Rica. They will expect Japan to lose points in the remaining matches. In my opinion, there is a possibility that Germany will say goodbye to the World Cup early.

Wales - Iran match continues 0-0. Iran seem to have overcome the shock of the 6 goals they conceded in the first match. Also, Iran seem very eager in this match. They are playing with high pace. But I don't think they can sustain the whole game at this pace. In my opinion, Wales will dominate the game in the second half.
Yes, Iran tried desperately to fight in the first half and even managed to score a goal, but unfortunately from offside the goal didn't count. I too think Wales will show strength in the second half and win this match. I think Wales play no worse than England who had no problem beating Iran. Wales need to win to get out of the group.
1560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 25, 2022, 09:54:08 AM
And in a short time FIFA World Cup 2022 Wales vs Iran match will be held.  But this time everyone is working hard, the players of all teams.  Lower class teams are performing much better.  So today's two teams are very good, you all will enjoy the game. Group B and the second round starts today.

I think the most interesting match will be between the Netherlands and Ecuador. Both teams showed good football in the first round and are the leaders in the group with exactly the same stats. Most believe that the Netherlands are the favourites in this game, but I think that Ecuador will not lose.
