2281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or hardware wallet ? on: November 30, 2021, 10:41:18 PM
I hope that OP gets something and enlightens his mind now. Having the two different wallets has also a different purpose and that it needs to be clear before using one of them. And I believe that you grasp some ideas and know what you gonna do to safeguard your funds out from this risky environment.
I guess, all the replies above are good enough to guide you on which one to choose. If ever you've got a mistake, that was not because we are wrong, it is definitely it's yours.
2282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microstrategy Buy more Bitcoin on: November 30, 2021, 10:00:09 PM
The thing is more and more whales are continuing to develop interest in cryptocurrency, so we should expect to be seeing more of investments coming from big institutions like Microstratetgy and the rest of them. This is why I am very positive that the price will be increasing. As long as we still have more bitcoins to mine, then there is still more levels to attain in prices.

So, it is advisable for investors to take advantage of this opportunity, especially those investors that has plans to Hodl for a long term. The price we have now will be small compared to what we will be seeing in the future. The market has this tendency of increasing whenever there is a halving, and we will be seeing another in a few years. So no investment now is a waste, because you will gain from it later on.
The fact that everyone is welcome in crypto, this never be surprising. They have the money, they know the potentials of Bitcoin, and that they can't ignore investing. The more of having big investors, the more it gains more demands, and the results are totally positive which I think that all we want to happen.

I'd think now that Microstrategy will buy more once there are other corrections happen. Just like the other companies, they hold for the future purposes.
2283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Omicron token gained 900% after WHO name-new variant on: November 29, 2021, 11:33:46 PM
An obscure token Omicron made a massive gain on Monday after the World Health Organization named the new covid 19 variant, the token did a 900% gain but apart from the name being the same the cryptocurrency does not have any connection with the virus.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/obscure-omicron-token-spikes-900-after-new-variant-emerges
I'm really in surprise seeing such a huge pump out from a (joke) new project. It is just a hype made by someone who will take the benefits from it and then let investors will suffer in the end.

Even we called it a very impressive market performance but this never bought my interest and made me risk money buying them. No, I don't spend but rather ignore this. It was very obvious that the developer of this project is no intention to help the community but rather to take advantage and might just scam.
2284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The altcoin market has become scammer's playground on: November 29, 2021, 11:01:42 PM
After the initial success of Shiba Inu coin, I am observing that the altcoin market has become a playground for the scammers in most literal sense.

There are multiple projects now, which are showing 28000% return within just few hours of launching and then showing a steady decline. There are multiple examples,

Squid games: Defunct
Shih Tzu coin: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/shih-tzu/
Solar energy: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/solar-energy/
Mini BTC: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/minibtc/

Etc.

There are many others as well. It is a money laundering heaven. Don't you think such gold rush has to stop at some point. Otherwise cryptos will never be able to make its way into the mainstream world. People are buying from craps to garbages in the name of cryptos.

Voice your opinion.
The sad reality for now. It could be hard to accept that we are now surrounded by these shit and useless projects but can't stop scammers to create their joke projects. They certainly want attention and we respond nothing, I hope that is what we see. However, the influence of some known personalities brings some hypes and gives the chance for these scammers to scam people in front of them. I believe that they are aware of the situation but they choose to become blind.
2285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you guys think 0.1BTC is enough to "make it"? on: November 28, 2021, 11:58:00 PM
Considering the supply vs global population = 0.003BTC per person to go around.

Then other factors like not all 21 million will be in circulation due to lost wallets/deceased hodlers who never informed anyone where their seed is, and also an increasing global population and future generations who all want in.

And do you think that it was enough? No, and you can't stop people from owning a lot if they want to or that they have the capacity to buy more. And the fact that not all are able to understand crypto, it simply they don't get an interest of owning this.

Quote
Do you think 0.1BTC will be like owning a mansion?
Forget about the mansion, I'd rather put that money in a small and comfortable house as I know that amount is not enough, though. Maybe if you hold 1 full BTC...
2286  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Diversifying Your Portfolio in Crypto on: November 26, 2021, 09:43:54 PM
Diversifying does not mean you make an equal percentage on coins you invested, since you understand that bitcoin dictates the entire market, then you should put a higher percentage on bitcoin for your investment.

you can do the following.

50% - Bitcoin
30% - high volume and high market cap altcoins.
20% - low volume and low market cap altcoins.

That's my personal strategy only, it does not guarantee a profit but it works for me.
2287  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is recovering on: November 26, 2021, 09:17:55 PM
Bitcoin has made good progress today compared to last three days today Bitcoin almost touched $60k ($59,390) as a result we have seen decent progress in other altcoins as well. Either this is a breakout point wherein bitcoin will proceed towards new ATH or a bull trap but I don't think it would be a bull trap as market just went through correction phase. What's your opinion on bitcoin at the moment?

Bitcoin comes back at small price after it went to recovery towards $60k, and as you can see corrections was still uncertain because it might touch down below $50k of it doesn't show good pumps. Many traders and long term investor would probably take their profit as long as they determine an advanced along the way. We just need to take some more patience before we embrace more successful gains.

Be more patient in waiting for a dip as it could drop below $50k, and on the other hand, it could also recover easily, so buying at the price now is an opportunity already. In the past few weeks, the price movement of bitcoin is not as bullish as it was compared to the previous month, so this tells a bit that bear run is just around the corner and the hype is over because whales had already taken profit.
2288  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we witness year end bullrun or bull trap? on: November 26, 2021, 08:34:15 PM
Maybe this dropping of crypto price is just a short correction or a short effect of the bad news that btc has incountered this is not the only time that the price of crypto fall and I know that everyone know about the high volatility of the crypto price so there is no surprise about it only newbie can now be wory of this falling of btc price.
Its always as it should be because this market wont be called something like this if it were really that predictable and also we wont really calling this to be one if we wont really be seeing these declines and we cant really just see that moving up is always a real thing. For now its neither a bull run or a bull trap.
Its really hard to tell even how good your analysis would be because TA's cant really be precise anytime but somehow having these could really make out
some advantage compared to those who arent using this.
TA is only part of the tools needed to predict the outcome correctly, but we can never be correct all the time. The nature of crypto is being volatile, hence, it will make it unpredictable which most likely majority of the traders and investors would make a wrong judgment, so being smart would help us succeed over them. As for me, the bull run is still here, but it could be a bull trap too.
2289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How reasonable is the long-term investment in Altcoins? on: November 26, 2021, 08:05:38 PM
We all know that long term investment in Bitcoin is reasonable but how reasonable do you think long term investment in Altcoins is?
I think long-term investment in Altcoins is full of risks but short time investment is more profitable. Do you agree with me?

I disagree with your opinion. because everything in cryptocurrencies has risks. bitcoin and altcoins have the same risk. although bitcoin has proven that every year bitcoin is able to increase its price. but there are some altcoins that also follow the movement of bitcoin on the market exchange. I give an example like DOGECOIN.

They both possess the same risk, whether you invest for long term or short term, the main outcome is only dictated by how you manage your investments.  With knowledge and skills in trading, that will minimize the risk and increase the chance of success, so that's the thing you need to improve as an investor so you'll become successful in investing.

Some investors need time to learn how to invest profitably, their experiences are very vital and they always reflect to learn from them.
2290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to avoid all scams? on: November 26, 2021, 02:14:35 PM
you can not avoid all scam, trust me... i am here from years ago and still got scam even if its only small amount compare to my first year in this industry. the only thing you can do is deep due diligent and make your chance getting scam smaller but not 0 chance. scammer were smart people or maybe the condition which makes us got scam ( want to get rich fast because of FOMO ).
Cryptocurrency seems to be created for fraudsters. In any case, this gray, unregulated period of it is very convenient for their fruitful work. Like participants in the cryptocurrency market, all sorts of scammers work here anonymously and it is extremely difficult to establish their identity. Moreover, any fraudster can be in any country convenient for him, where no law enforcement agencies can reach him.
Even if the majority of states unite in the fight against cryptocurrency fraud, there will certainly remain opportunities for them.
Exactly, so it's very important that crypto will be regulated as it will result in the minimization of scams, without regulation, these scammers will continue to use crypto as their playground and they will continue making easy money without worries of getting punished legally. Whether we like to see it or not, there are still people who will invest blindly because they only see the success they can get in crypto, and that is without realizing the potential risk of investing, if they fail, scammers will succeed.
2291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen with eth 2.0. releasing? Lower fee? on: November 26, 2021, 11:56:39 AM
This article is for you.

https://cryptomode.com/will-ethereum-2-0-lower-gas-fees/

Quote
Will Ethereum 2.0 reduce gas fees?
Ethereum has great plans to increase the number of transactions it can handle per second to about 150,000 by the end of the year. Serenity aims to help fulfill this ambition and also make the network more secure.

The proof of stake model used by ETH2 reduces the energy/power-intensive problem of the PoW used by ETH. Sharding on the other hand will increase the number of transactions the network can handle as validation will be assigned to different validators overseeing different shards.

As explained earlier, congestion of the network is one of the main reasons for the high gas fees of ethereum. The upgrade is about to bring an increase in the transaction per second which will definitely reduce congestion of the network leading to a reduction in the transaction fees.

In conclusion, the high gas fee of ethereum is a big barrier for Defi, with more people choosing to buy bitcoin in India because of the favourable BTC to INR rate. Although ETH handles more transactions than bitcoin per second, you cannot neglect the fact that the high transaction fees are a hindrance to the growth of Ethereum and Decentralized finance.

If developers are successful with this upgrade, it will only mean great things for not only ethereum but also Defi as a whole.

So the answer is, it will reduce the fee as it will prevent network congestion.
Hope it's all clear now.
2292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 26, 2021, 11:16:30 AM
Many of us are impressed with the Bulls' performance this season. Regarding DeRozan and LaVine, both have great stats. However, I agree with Yogee that they won't have a chance to compete with Curry and Durant for the MVP title of the regular season. Curry looks unstoppable, and I think he will be MVP this season imho.

I think it's early to conclude this discussion, especially we are not yet passing the NBA All-star week 2022. anything can happen next year but if Klay Thompson will further boost Curry's performance then you can say try again next time to the other candidate because they won't have a chance at all. Stephen Curry has once again become the all-time favorite this year as you can see there are lots of fans on the court when they play just to see him shoot those stunning threes.

Exactly, it's too early to conclude, the race is still on and DeRozan and Lavine are really doing well with how they are making their team successful. Both teams have a co-star, Durant has Harden, and Curry has Thompson (soon).. but with Thompson's being limited, then most likely Curry would have most of the contribution that and that will his stats looks good.
2293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Shiba INU tokens continue to rise? on: November 26, 2021, 06:01:42 AM
Hello, I have been following Shiba INU tokens from the start, like many of us, and still not sure what to expect.

But I still think it will rise .
It will rise again on the next hype but for now it must enter into a correction and its happening now, we can’t just know what’s the dip price but this can be an opportunity already to buy SHIB if you really trust this project. I’m planning to buy as well to take advantage of the down price, I’m just waiting for some confirmation before I buy. SHIB is still good despite of many hates, I just can’t afford to miss another opportunity so I’m taking risk now.
the hatred that happened to shiba because it dragged on for a long time crashed, so many people were frustrated. this is what contributes to panic selling to the holder, but for people who see an opportunity, from now on it is an opportunity to buy, and can be done in the short term to make a profit.
Looking at the current condition of the shiba inu, it can be said that this is the right time to buy it, but on the other hand, I doubt whether it will go up or if the price will go down,
after all the shiba inu is a meme coin and we don't know what it will turn out to be
I have a different opinion though, buying is not good for now since Shiba Inu has already pumped, you think it's a meme coin or a joke coin, then you should not take it seriously, the hype is over and people have already profited from this coin, you know what's gonna happen next.
2294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Ioka Dec 31 on: November 25, 2021, 09:41:42 PM
The fans will be able to watch this as it's on the day before the new year where we are busy preparing for the celebration. I'm not familiar with Ioka but based on his record, his experience would also be enough to give Ancajas a tough challenge, so this should be an exciting fight.

Last fight against Rodriguez, he is -800 in the betting sites, not sure if he is still the favorites to win in this fight.

2295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Rematch - JOSHUA vs USYK II (updated thread) on: November 25, 2021, 09:10:21 PM
....unfortunately for Joshua he does not have a strong chin which is a terrible flaw for a boxer on the heavyweight division to have.
Some boxers do have that, therefore they need to adjust by being smart not to get hit, besides, that's the main goal when they are training, hit the opponent and not allow to get hit so you'll win. Joshua does not only have a soft chin, he does not also know how to manage his advantage, he think he could rely on his power to finish the fight, but he was already wrong two times, so it's time for him to reclaim himself.

Klay can easily adopt and adjust. Remember when KD transferred to them, he gave the offense to KD and focus on his defense.

he's a deadly shooter which is always capable of hitting his shot while working more with stopping any stars from the opposing team.

The very best from Klay is just like having Pippen beside you. If the team needed him to score, he was just there to provide. It's very good news for everyone, especially to all the Dub fans. Looking forward to how many wins will be added to GSW after Klay's arrival.

Completely agree with this sentiment.

Klay will have absolutely no trouble adjusting to the team. He can play off-ball and isn't ball dominant like Kyrie or Harden.

In fact, his very best performances came without a lot of dribbles... As I'm sure a lot of people know.

We don't need to talk about Thompson's might not able to have good chemistry with the team because the Warriors never had a problem with chemistry. This team is a real definition of teamwork, they all work based on their rules and they produce effectively, so my only concern now is if he is able to get back to his old self, that's it.
2297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Musk the boss behind SHIB? on: November 25, 2021, 02:28:31 PM
I don't think he is behind of it. Elon Musk is really dedicated on Doge and really tried to shill it out on his social media account and in SHIB the people behind that is reputable developers. I don't think Elon would focus on other cryptocurrency rather than the Dogecoin. I don't think he would waste time promoting Doge where he has other project such as Shib.

Why not, DOGECOIN is already over, it's not rising anymore os most likely it will dump if the bear market will start. Elon is very smart, he hypes DOGE and he already made a lot of profit from it, and if he still thinks he cannot hype DOGE anymore, he can easily hype another meme coin so he can make easy money from it.

Though Elon declared he doesn't own Shiba, but he could change his statement and that would result in another pump.

2298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 25, 2021, 02:07:04 PM
I think yes. From time to time , NBA has a day off schedule and its normal as those teams are really going a lot of miles from one day to another to play their games and also I think it due to thanksgiving ? I'm not sure as I'm not from USA but one of this 2 should be the reason of a day off.

You are right it's thanksgiving day and they don't have games on that day.

It's explained here :

Why Does the NBA Not Have Any Games on Thanksgiving Day?

Quote
The NBA players often want a well-deserved break from their intense schedules of basketball. And Thanksgiving Day is one opportunity for them to take a break and spend time with the ones they are thankful for. It often makes you wonder why the NBA is not off on Christmas or New Year’s but is especially on Thanksgiving Day.

Let's also have a break for at least one day in betting.  Grin
2299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: advantages in the cryptocurrency industry on: November 24, 2021, 09:22:50 PM

 - Gambling: sometimes beneficial and sometimes detrimental. I don't recommend it at all (risk high)

I do not know of a single person in my environment who would become rich by temptating fate with gambling. In this area, millions of participants play and only a few win. I cannot take this seriously.

As gamblers are saying, the house always wins. Therefore, the majority of the gamblers will only lose in the long run, it might not be true that no one wins in gambling but only a few percentages will win, with that, it makes gambling house very profitable. I suggest to those who do not have a talent in gambling is just focus on crypto trading and investing as there are plenty of people who made their fortune here, you just have to learn and improve yourself and it's doable.
2300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 24, 2021, 09:09:47 PM
however in boxing there is no guarantee the fight will last as long as what the boxers agreed on the contract as a single punch can end the fight in a second.
That's where the excitement comes, we are looking for this one-shot especially coming from Mike Tyson.

A game could end quickly but in a manner like this, it will already satisfy the fans and Mike Tyson would definitely make a headline in the world although this is only an exhibition fight. Maybe it's also available in the betting lines like 1st round KO by Tyson.
