Using the current script code I have, I may be able to create a block by block data collector. But because the block time is variable I need a way to poll the api at the right interval, then only load the page data when a new block is created. If I could tie this in with RPC calls then I've essentially got a block rewarder that can run 24/7.

We need a better exchange. Low prices is all well and good, but low difficulty is not.
I send a request to coinex.pw to add KlondikeCoin last night, havent heard back from them. In order for this coin to increase in value it's going to have to get on a large exchange if not several large exchanges and, the miners will have to come back and start mining it hard. If this doesnt happen soon.....I hope this happens soon. Sorry, miners coming back? We are still above 1,000Mh/s, i don't think we lost any miners, yes ,we had a pick of 1,300Mh/s but you also need to be realistic, no? I believe when dev deliver the Android application that we can have some extra miners, but at the moment, we are still strong... Yes, the miner situation is good at the moment. I'm just concerned about the long-term prospects if we don't get on a better exchange. |

Why don't you buy back? Max will mention it in his show tonight, relaunch on Feb 3rd, cryptsy and other exchanges getting it shortly after... seems like everything is looking positive. Im thinking if I should risk more of my BTC than I already have or even go all in But with crypto you never know i have purchased as much meow as i can afford. So you went all in, and not holding any BTC at the moment? I'm like 30% in MEOW... Im really considering going all in... but im scared. What if BTC jumps up after Jan 31st and MEOW crashes... I will kill someone Never ever go all in. It make may you a lot of money once or twice, but it will catch you eventually and you will end up with next to nothing. Mark my words. |

I know that much. I could make a substantial loss if I did. I sold prematurely. No biggy. Still far better than buying at the end of a trend. That would be far worse. |

Well, I suppose if it were easy, everyone would be doing it, right? I'll do my research and see what needs to be done. It's just a pity the blockexplorer sites aren't more flexible. It's not that I can't get the data from them. It's that they don't like me hitting so many pages.
All it needs is some downloadable xml for a few mb, and I'd be done.
If it helps, be aware you can pass RPC calls directly to your wallet. Perhaps going between the script and the wallet would be far easier than script to block explorer API. Yes, someone suggested I do that, and it would be a far easier method of submitting payments. That will be much easier than retrieving the data I need from online explorers. Unless I can pull it from RPC calls, of course. This seems like the best place for me to start. |

it will probably hit that in the near future. just hold and be patient. Is it safe to hold it in coinedup? What if that site disappears? Im scared to use wallets incase my computer crashes or if someone steals my coins like all the reports i've been hearing They are superior to Cryptsy in terms of support and have NEVER held my funds on purpose. For me they are a first class exchange. But expect slow load times. They are probably around 50,000 users now. Up from 2,000 6 weeks ago. I've got a book on Elliot Wave Principles to digest before I spend another single satoshi on altcoins. It's probably been my worst sell so far. |

Kitteh I believe cause the codename is [MEOW], so is the twitter trend and so Kitteh is listed on exchanges (see coinedup). Nobody cares anymore. So there better be a wallet or this thread will be buried in an hour. Actually, it says "Premined: 0 - We have changed it to 0 because of users not wanting the 500,000 Coins premined" on first post. I think he changed his mind on premine. But I agree with the rest. People are fed up with bad launches. Well, we'll wait and see. I may be around for the launch, but I can't say I have a lot of hope right now. Altcoin releases are becoming really slick, and without anything new about the coin, I'm not sure what will make it stand out. There are 5 other coins that my rig should be pointed at. I don't have time for bad launches. |
