Facuets and BTC cloud - it is perfect  Tongue

What do you mean with Bitcoin Cloud? If you mean Cloudmining then i don't think there is a company offering cloud mining where you, at the end, at least get your investment back.

I would never suggest cloud mining since the risk is way too high.
2302  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Purse.io - Bitcoin Amazon Marketplace - Save ~10-25% on Amazon Wishlist on: October 29, 2015, 07:05:04 PM
It seems amazon has changed the shipping address portion of wish lists?  I have suddenly received endless cancelled orders related to my shipping address.

Anyone else have this happen recently?

Did you maybe forget to add the shipping costs? Sometimes buyers add items to the basket and realize that the real discount they would give you is much higher because of taxes and shipping costs. If you fix that maybe this will stop.

jgarzik suggests in his talk that Fidelity investment company has a beta bitcoin project which it is cannot turn on, because it would "max out" bitcoin capacity and future capacity growth is unknown

We are not responsible for your inability to understand fundamental facts about bitcoin scalability issues and
centralization. It seems that you keep supporting bigger blocks. For the last time, please understand that
our hardware is not capable of handling bigger blocks. This will be devastating for bitcoin, and will turn many people
on altcoins, which they have the same scalability issues or even worse.
Ohh wait! How convenient! Your nickname looks self-explanatory. LiteCoinGuy, how many litecoins do you own?
Well not everyone is invested in LiteCoin, which is just a copy of bitcoin, and 2.5 minute blocks make it even harder to scale compared to bitcoin.

I'm not sure where you life so that "our" hardware is not capable of using bigger blocks. In practically all countries i know it would be no problem at all.

Might depend on where you live. Roll Eyes
There's the rub. Some countries have miners with the advantage of bigger blocks and some have miners with the advantage of smaller blocks. If you get away from the hardware issue and focus on the end user, then more tps and larger blocks becomes evident.

Not really. What you describe would be some stoneage country. Every computer nowadays can deal with it. And we surely don't need to make sure that bitcoin nodes can run on a C64, don't you think? One can go too far easily...
It takes more than computing power to support larger block sizes. Some countries can't handle the bandwidth of those large blocks to propagate them.

Yeah, i know, there are not a few places even in the US. But it is simply no solution to let bitcoin act after the poorest available internet connection. And i would await that a miner who seriously wants to mine, will prepare a proper power solution and internet. if he doesn't then we surely won't adjust the bitcoin protocol only because someone wants to be stupid.

It is simply a matter of fact that bitcoin can't survive when the daily amount of legit transactions exceed the 1MB blocksize limit. IT CAN't POSSIBLY WORK! because everytime legit transaction fell over and will never be confirmed. A currency like that is dead. Regardless of some lightning network.

Because no one likes to be taken away things you trust on being yours.

And these guys simply got the easy way. There are other ways but they chose the risky and short time gain. Well, if they spend their time in jail they might think again about this. I mean if that was the fast way really.

2306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: October 28, 2015, 08:34:12 PM
i think best method would be to use signature campaigns.
Though ponzi schemes can also return you big amounts only if you are early in and quickly out from those.

And you will surely meet the ponzis that don't really pay out. And your hard earned coins are gone in an instant. Believe me, that's how it ends for everyone who speaks like you and tries to get fast out.
2307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: October 28, 2015, 08:30:40 PM
i try basically to get some nice ROI from investment then walkover with half of the ROI in gambling and other half of ROI in  investing again but in higher ROI investments not HYIP(High Yielding Investment Program) which always works like a normal investment plan ...but went on scam after getting some more attraction....

i HAve now 0.05 btc going with 0.1 btc over 1.5 months,,, Grin

Good thing you are slowing things down cuz actually you can double your coins in just weeks on HYIP investing and in an instant with gambling. Keep it up and best of luck to you! Keep in mind that don't be too greedy as you may end up losing all your hard earned coins. Roll Eyes That happened to me once on a HYIP Grin

Did you miswrite "can" instead "can't"? You sound like a scam otherwise. Roll Eyes Surely it's stupid to try raising your bitcoins with gambling hyip.
2308  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: October 28, 2015, 08:24:54 PM
There are bunch of ways for doing this .Market, stocks or gambling are the shortcuts but as said "shortcuts are dangerous" so please take caution before taking them. What I can advice is use bitcoins to earn more bitcoins ,start a legal trade like a website or you can loan it to someone using an escrow .Let it grow maybe start your own signature campaigns, overall choose a strategy which involves hard work over shortcuts .

I think you missed another good method to growing our bitcoin, it seems simple method but it is working very good for a lot of people, it's just selling the goods and services for bitcoins

But for this method one should have some good service or product to sell. If not, then try to lend money for some profits.
Lending is one good way to earn some profits and I used to do it right now Cheesy It just sucks when someone defaulted, which happened to me recently, I trusted too much that guy Angry

Yeah, they sometimes are good with words and convincing.

Though you never should give out loans without collateral, even when he promises 20% a week. They might only want to dump their forum account on you without having to sell it. Better demand a realistic value 150% of the loan. Then this "Business model" would not work really.

2310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pay for the companionship of a Supermodel with Bitcoin. All Money is Money! on: October 28, 2015, 08:12:27 PM
Interesting discussion on the subject on reddit. I thought it would be worth sharing with you guys here.

http://fallenangels.london/of-course-we-accept-bitcoin-all-money-is-money-2/

https://redd.it/3ouf0d

The escort are high level escorts in every direction. They are intelligent, most of the times well educated (college or university) and above all, sexy at the maximum. Are the best choice for that kind of people which have money and are alone. "Unfortunately" I am happily married and cannot taste those. Anyhow I will use never my bitcoin with those. I would use my fiat money. Cannot have fear to be known. It is a pleasure to be with those.

I am glad you are one of the few who understand the difference between a a high class escort and a standard one. On this level its usually about exclusive dates, events and parties and in most cases just be a smart listener. There are many blue-bloods who don't mind paying for a company of a intelligent woman.

Thank you very much for your special world about me. I can assure you that if I were young, have money and single would more than happy to have the companionship of such kind of girls. Maybe be able to attract her so much and stay with her more than can be possible with my money. But even because the relationship which will be created in such conditions will much more enjoyable. Not because i doubt in their professionalism in doing their "duty". But because the attraction from both the parties (when born and exist) give something special to them; something that any amount of money is not able to create.

I think i would not want to do it exactly because this kind of "relationship" that might build. I mean if it really turns out that girl is a girl you fall in love then you might have be no chance. She might not be in love since she was paid for it. And you are heart broken.

Even when she fell in love, i wonder if MissSilvia would have to punish her for breaking the contract or something like that. I'm sure that is not allowed. I might be wrong.

And then, though that's my personal preference... i'm somewhat cautious with girls that you draw to you with money. You never know if she would love you without money too then. And i really really like that the girl that loves me know went through hard financial times with me. That showed me that her love is deep and pure. Smiley

You have not read well my post.  Wink  I have not mentioned in any place the word "love". "Attraction" and "love" are way far away from each other. So, I wrote firstly "Maybe be able to attract her so much and stay with her more than can be possible with my money." So, in other words, the attraction be firstly by the other part and not from me. Then, if this could be verified, is the next sentence: ".... the attraction from both the parties (when born and exist) give something special to them; something that any amount of money is not able to create.". This mean attraction (for sure) at least by the other part.

You can tell that in these things nothing can be calculated. Maybe could be so. Maybe could be me that can't be able to protect my feelings and myself. Who knows? Maybe you right. But for the others. Because as for me (knowing myself) that it is not my case.  Cool

As for MissSilvia, she will know nothing. It will be a little secret between me and the escort in question. So everything well thought. Don't you think so now?  Cheesy

Or course that might happen. Though i wonder if that isn't only your dream and you would spend a lot of money only for being near these models.

Though they way way more important question would be at the end... would you really want to have such a girl as your girlfriend, if it comes to that? I mean how much does she love you and how much does she love the money? When you lose your job or bitcoins, do you think she will stay with you? My girlfriend has proven that to me when we both went through a really hard financial time. And i'm very lucky about that since at the first look she looks like a really expensive girl. Though her love is pure and great. Cheesy I met her at a disco, by the way. Many random events that led to that. Cheesy

Man. You must read all the post and not only the last to write the right thing. In my first post (which is even the beginner of all this mountain of posts) I have written: "Unfortunately" I am happily married and cannot taste those. I bolded that in my post in order that you find it more easily. The escorts are not for me and are not my field of interests. I have some years in my shoulders and this kind of stories has been forgotten some years ago. If I would be young and have tons of money for sure would spent some (but even more) time with some of those. I don't believe only with one. So no risk for me even in youth. But even could be one of those with who I would have pleasure to stay more be sure that this cannot be possible to be risky for me. Whatever be that girl. Because, at least, in the first sign of risk, I would leave her and would go away to another one. Wink

I think you read too much into it. I did not write that you are in danger but that users that use that service might be generally in risk of falling in love with a girl that behaves like it likes you though that might completely different. An act, for money, or an act for future money after being married to you.

I did not mean it personally. Smiley

I only personally would avoif it for my own sanety.

Scams unbekannten Ausmasses. Wäre sehr übel.

Yesterday i sent some transactions to poloniex and 2 of the three transactions had been malleated. So copies were created and showed up. They didn't confirm of course.

So it's really so that 2 attacks run now. Might be from the same person trying as much harm as possible.

Did both transactions confirm eventually? How long did it take to confirm. Hope the delay did not affect your trading.

My bot is paused for a long time.
Are you sure that your original txs have low-S signatures?
Because some users malleate "non-standard" transactions to "standard" form.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1204959.0

See, i sent 3 bitcoin transactions. I logged in now and the deposit list looks like this:

2015-10-22 18:51:39   COMPLETE
2015-10-22 18:48:21   PENDING (0 of 1 confirmations)
2015-10-22 18:48:21   COMPLETE
2015-10-22 18:47:42   COMPLETE
2015-10-22 18:47:42   PENDING (0 of 1 confirmations)

You see two transactions didn't confirm, three did. Though the two nonconfirming seems to be malleated versions of 2 of the other transactions. Same time, value and target. So that was part of the malleability attack it seems.

Sent from electrum 2.3.2. Smiley

2315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: October 28, 2015, 06:55:41 PM
i think patience is the key to become a successful trader. All you have to wait for market to be favourable for your pick.

this is not good if you expected something but the market do a complete shift, a different movement, and instead of falling, for example it keep rising

it's better to play on a daily small range and take the little profit, than waiting for the big oneand risking to have nothing or lose big

I think it is important to make a distinction between investing and trading.
Investor holds builds his portfolio using a number of separate assets and holds it long-term.

A trader trades an instrument short term (could be few minutes, few hours, sometimes even few days) to benefit from its volatility and occasional mispricings.

If you are a trader, your options are mutliplied if you use the exchange offering short-selling and margin trading (providing that it is used correctly).

Not all traders are daytraders. Many trade only in the bigger timeframes. It's said that this is even easier than daytrading since the price is more acting the way the indicators say he should. Daytrading is more random.

Sebastian,

It's true what you are saying about there being less noise to deal with if you trade longer term, but on the other hand, you need to risk more capital then.

That's right, but i consider it the "normal" trading. If someone doesn't have the amount needed then leverage might be a way. Though it is risk for sure. At the end you can't really beat the system when you don't have much money and not the knowledge to predict prices. You will always risk more with low money. Though newbies, even with big money will lose it for sure anyway. That is practically certain.

I know you are an trusted person. But my question is did anescrow over 8k bitcoins in total, but at the time, what was the value of bitcoin? It would be better if you post how much usd/euro you have dealed. So we get an better idea of the real stats.

Good luck with your service anyways!

Regards,

I think the real stats are only a couple hundred bitcoins more now. The amount of bitcoins escrowed nowadays are less generally, maybe because of so many escrows are there.

And if someone thinks of making it as a business.... don't think over it. Even with fixed fees, the work needed is too much as doing it for earning.
