1481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: February 02, 2016, 02:00:55 AM
I've been trading alot recently, sort of like gambling but with less risk to lose everything in one swoop

trading need more capital to get big profit..if just small we get a less..maybe you can try trading in altcoin its quites big profit in there.
gambling not recomended, will be lose just in single bet. it depend also.. if predict good then will be win..

You can always try trading with leverage. Which means when you have $20 then you can, with leverage 10 times, trade like if you have $200. You can profit faster but lose faster too then.

If you want to try then okcoin.com is the best place because they have high volume.
1482  Economy / Services / Re: [ANN] SebastianJu - Free Legendary Escrow Service - Escrowed over 8150 BTC on: February 02, 2016, 12:11:13 AM
SebastianJu is fantastic, have used his service many many times and he is the best escrow here Smiley

Definitely SebastianJu should be listed in the 'Big 5' escrow list.

Till next time Smiley

I'm always happy to read such reviews. Wink

Let me know when you need an escrow again, of course that is the same for everyone. Smiley
1483  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: February 01, 2016, 11:25:04 PM
Jutarul was just a Board member of Asicminer (=big fish). I think last Boardmember meeting was around late january 2015. So he should know something.
If someone got paid to keep quiet, this person probably would talk for money, too.

It's indeed a bit strange that he does not react even when people ask him.

Though i wonder if there is someone who lost enough to pay for infos. Maybe those who could lose enough were warned and dropped out. Though on the other hand, the signs were there that asicminer will never pay big divs so i assume only a few big investors might have still believed.
1484  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Offering Free BTC->Debit Card Exchanges, Escrow Allowed on: February 01, 2016, 09:58:18 PM
Sounds like you are selling virtual credit cards. Once you received the escrows payment you can't send a physical card at all. And what about the risk of you discharging the card?

I would not know how to be safe of that offer.

You set the PIN on the card. Its perfectly possible for me to send the card after receiving escrow payment.

Yes, it might be that there is a physical card, but it could be the case too that no physical card exists or can exist.

You set the pin on the card? So the new owner has a banking login then?

I only say it sounds a bit like it could be a VCC only. And an escrow could not do anything against it anymore when the physical card has to reach after release of held coins.
1485  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] KRAKEN.COM - Exchange with USD EUR GBP JPY CAD BTC LTC XRP NMC XDG STR ETH on: February 01, 2016, 04:06:33 PM
It wasn't the best idea to send out new login details for old accounts on cavirtex and the other exchange when you then try to login and have to see that these logins are not yet active, probably not created. I only saw the news then that they still create them.

Didn't try again yet but such things should happen after the accounts are created.
1486  Economy / Exchanges / Re: RE : BitFinex the first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: February 01, 2016, 03:59:46 PM
So with all this raging debate - punctuated by tasty price spikes of volatility everytime a dev makes a new viral blog post <3 - what's going to happen if there is indeed a fork..?

Will BitFinex suddenly rush to list two BTCUSD instruments - one based on Core/SegWit, the other on BitcoinClassic/GA+JG..??

I presume at first, the BTCUSD we've always traded since ~2012 is just gonna continue to reflect Bitcoin Core's price, not other versions - even in the event that other versions actually get 75-90%+ voting+adoption majority..?

What are you talking about? I don't see two BTCUSD, one Core on Classic... Huh Unless you are trolling...

He probably speaks about this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1342268

It seems like technically a fork will happen with segwit. One chain with segwit nodes, only they know the segwit transactions and one chain with the old nodes, that don't understand segwit transactions.

In general, i would not trust segwit transactions that i receive as an escrow or personally because what happens when segwit loses against the old nodes? Then these transactions are transactions in an abandoned fork. Maybe when segwit wins >50%, ok, but i think it's risky to believe that it really will win.

On the other hand, when segwit wins and coins that are moved on segwit already were spent later on the normal chain then you still might lose coins.

It's really no fun. The problem is that this soft fork is different than those from before. Check out the thread to find out more.
1487  Other / Archival / Re: - on: February 01, 2016, 03:01:10 PM
Before i send back i would want to know if no complaints are coming up since i don't know the investors and can't tell if they really received their mining reward.

Besides that, what did lottomax do? Did he send back ALL investments + profit every week or had he still funds left with him? I imagine it would be practically impossible, or with high risk for lottomax, when he runs a ponzi where he pays all investments + profit back since he would risk his own coins. So did he pay back everything all the time? Only curious. Tongue

Sorry for having to let you wait but i think i'm need to make sure that no complaints happen afterwards.

1489  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptostocks - BTC,DVC,LTC denominated Stock Exchange/Crowdfunding Platform on: February 01, 2016, 02:24:51 PM
It seems the wallet is online again since i received word that someone was able to withdraw.

I noticed the news page on the home pages mentions that kumala is aware of the email problem and that it's the fault of a third party software. He claimed he wants to replace it but the news is from august. Might even be august 2014 since cryptostocks does not show any years on any page. Roll Eyes Guess accounting would be hard to prove if bitcoin projects wouldn't die so fast that you can be sure that some dates are from a certain year. Roll Eyes

Guess cryptostocks only was rising because no alternatives were there back in the time.
1490  Economy / Securities / Re: [CANNABIT] Investment Details - Announcement & Discussion Thread #cannabit on: February 01, 2016, 02:19:34 PM
Yesterday i ended sending all the emails again to those who might have get blocked my previous email. It turned out to some more shareholders verifying.

I checked out cryptostocks and it seems that cannabit finally stopped trading to not change the shares now anymore. So the issuer acted a bit. I will see if i can get more info in some hours when the other shareholder comes online, other timezone, to get more news. Since it's practically sure that the shareholder must have reached the issuer so that this change happened.

On the homepage it says, i only have read that now, that they want to repair the email problem with another third party email system. But it's an old news so probably nothing will happen anymore.

So far i wait for a newer list since some shares were claimed but these shareholders were anonymous in the old list i have.

When these 2 claims are true then we have 18 confirmed investors now, 5 more have claimed shares but did not verify their email address because they didn't check the inbox of their cryptostocks email address. So if you missed that then please do that then we might have 23 confirmed investors.

Of the number of shares that are owned by shareholders we have 93,87% confirmed already. That is why we try, since some days, to get ahold of the issuer to lead him through the steps to create the security on xcp.

I hope this happens soon since we already have the first of the next month and i don't want to get the issuer the idea that he could save another month of divs. Roll Eyes But the other shareholder tries all the time. Smiley
1491  Other / Archival / Re: - on: January 30, 2016, 03:43:10 PM
0.2 Bitcoin are in the escrow address. Please investors let me know when this amount is less then the amount needed to repay the investors.

I suggest to handle the payment this way that Zeroxal pays everyone the funds + profit from his profits, if possible and then i release the coins in escrow to him. I think that would be the way with the least transactions and transaction fees.

Anyway, if something goes wrong it would be good to know who invested. Either invest from an address you own, so you can access the private key and/or you can sign a private message with, see my post with my escrow address for a link for that, or you can send zeroxal an amount where you send some satoshies more than needed. Add the last 4 signs of your bitcointalk.org forum profile id. For example your forum id is 543245 and you will invest 0.01 bitcoin then you would send 0.01003245 bitcoin. That would be a pretty good proof that you are the sender.

Keep in mind that most exchanges have the stupid behaviour of taking the transaction fee from the amount you send.
1492  Other / Archival / Re: - on: January 30, 2016, 03:07:44 PM
Zeroxal asked me to provide an escrow address to keep 0.2 bitcoin.

So here it is:

The escrow address is:
Code:
1M2xB8TfDgGWLKAWNCG1VsmQekuurgJ53a
Please ONLY send to an escrow address i sent you directly. Dont send to quotes the seller claims i wrote. Only if i send you the address directly its ensured the address is correct. I will attach a signature whose message contains the escrow address, signed with an old address of mine, i posted may 2013 on bitcointalk. See my Servicethread: [ANN] SebastianJu - Free Legendary Escrow Service - Escrowed over 8150 BTC.

Before payment i would suggest you take a look at http://www.cointape.com/ to check out if the network gets spammed again. Below the graph there is shown what amount of fee is needed to get instant confirmation for a normal transaction, which means a transaction with coins coming from one address, and going to two addresses. That would be the target address and the source or a change address where the remaining coins are sent to. Checking that page could prevent that transactions are stuck for hours or days because they dont get a confirmation.

The payment of the bitcoins can be found and proved the fastest way through blockchain.info or automatically by email through bitcoinmonitor.net.

In case signed messages has to be verified, then its the fastest to visit http://wallet-2sx53n.sakurity.com/#verify. Then you can proove fast if a signature, given by me or the seller, is correct and so you know that the address is controlled by the one giving the signature.

Escrowfee is donation based... see my donation jar in my profile page... (Left side of page... click on my username) or simply scan the QR-Code from my avatar picture. Wink

Code:

It seems to work going through the email list slowly. Hope this keeps on working so that every shareholder will get his email in the inbox.

Some people only now changed the option to let the issuer see the email address, my list is not as actual yet but i will note your claim down and when i receive the newest list i will know the claim is real. But your email address can be verified already before that. Smiley

Slowly going forward with the claims and verifications. Smiley
1495  Economy / Securities / Re: [CANNABIT] Investment Details - Announcement & Discussion Thread #cannabit on: January 30, 2016, 01:40:27 PM
Yes, Cryptostocks is and was a nightmare. First, how can someone get the idea to implement 2FA but then put into the account 8 or 9 override codes? I'm pretty sure the website doesn't even have a bruteforce protection so bruteforcing an accounts 2fa sounds 8 to 9 times easier. What an idea...

Then the shareholder list. Not containing a bitcoin address and not containing all shareholders. Roll Eyes

Whatever. Hopefully we will be out there soon.

At the moment we have 6 claims that filled the form but did not confirm their email address by checking the inbox of the cryptostocks email and answering the email i sent there. Well, one shareholder told me that he did not receive that email and that it isn't in spamfolder too. I checked the list and we have a large number of gmail addresses there. So it might be that me, sending so many nearly the same emails to gmail, was blocked as a spammer. Fortunately i sent an email to a gmail shareholder yesterday and he received it. So i guess i will repeat the email sending for the emails that are not yet confirmed and/or claimed.

I guess 2 emails each 31 minutes will be enough to not trigger the spam protection? I hope so. Maybe anyone has experience with that?

Smiley

I'm not sure you thought your statement through isvicre and i hope you don't judge from yourself on others. I surely have no price. Maybe others can live happily after scamming others but i certainly would not be able to.
You just have to hope that people actually have morals. Sure there have been cases like master-p, but many are here to help build the Bitcoin community. And that's what we should work towards, a trusted community.
I hate all these shill scamming accounts I see. I made the mistake of endorsing a guy that ran off with 0.05 of another guy's money. Guess I should stay away from digital goods..

Maybe make more joke posts as an "EDU" to sections of the forum, like this one:
[Investor-Based-Game] LOSE ALL YOUR MONEY TODAY! FOR FREE!

Yes there are a lot honest people on bitcointalk. Unfortunately i think the amount of dishonest people are even higher than in an average group of people. So unbelieveable many scam attempts. Really a pity.

Though at the end it's like learning for life on here. It's a bit faster here than in normal life. Hopefully many can learn from the errors of others and don't have to learn it the hard way.
1498  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [SERVICE] LOSE ALL YOUR MONEY TODAY! FOR FREE! on: January 29, 2016, 01:39:19 AM
Yeah, I still opened it though the titles' obvious it's about nothing. It's a joke??? How come I am not even smiling. Huh

Maybe you already fell for ponzi or doubler scams?

ezeminer, nice thread. And i'm impressed that not a single person screamed scam... looks like finally a legit doubler exist. Smiley
1499  Local / Off-Topic (Deutsch) / Re: fragdenstaat.de/fragdenbundestag/ on: January 29, 2016, 01:08:16 AM

1500  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Why soft fork is a very bad idea and should be avoided at all costs on: January 29, 2016, 12:13:33 AM
So here is the discussion going on, not in the other thread johnyj... Smiley

I have read your explaination and indeed i think this is a hefty thing to plan. Consensus is something different i think. It is tricking into believing everything is right.

I'm surely not so much into the tech so i might be fully wrong. Don't take it agains me. Tongue

So what i ask myself, when the old nodes only see empty blocks, aren't the transactions needed to calculate if the block hash is correct? If the transactions are not seeable then how can the hash be calculated as valid? As far as i remember, changing the transactions of a block will give you another seed part that is used as base to find the block hash.

You write that segwit miner still would need nearly half of the network to do this fork but wouldn't it be sufficient when 10% segwit nodes find a block, let's say a minute before the 90% non segwit nodes, then they propagate it through matt's network(?) to all the big miners and these miners can instantly confirm the block because nothing big to be calculated. They would accept the block and that would be it.

Though even then, the old nodes would still think the bitcoins, that were moved in the segwit block, are at the old addresses and the segwit nodes with bitcoins that were transferred already, wouldn't that mean a fork of some kind has happened because a big part of the network has different details about the status of the bitcoins?

Further on, when the network only has 10% segwit nodes, which is likely in the beginning, then wouldn't there an attack vector by misusing the blindness of the nonsegwit miner nodes?

I mean depending on how the nodes confirm the segwit blocks at all, what if someone creates a block that contains fake segwit transactions? Completely rubbish or scammy transactions. The segwit nodes would discard this block but the nonsegwit nodes could not check if the block is invalid. They would accept it and hardfork. Though when i think about it, nothing would change for the nonsegwit nodes anyway because they don't know the segwit transactions. And the segwit nodes would still work on what they know.

Which brings me back to my previous question, when the nonsegwit nodes don't see segwit transactions then they will build blocks on data segwit nodes don't use. So it would still be a fight about trusting who will win since when i would receive bitcoins with a segwit transaction but the majority of the net is not accepting that transaction then i would not accept that transaction as valid too since i could not be sure that these bitcoins will be there in the future. So i would have to consider them worthless.

So what's the status of miners claiming to accept segwit? >50% hashpower?

Sorry for my lack of knowledge on the topic. Tongue
