Will be better grow bitcoin by play small amount on gambling instead of cloud mining.
Gambling is losing game due to the house edge! You are giving money to them. If you have no better investment , it is better to let your coins stay at the wallet. When the bitcin price grows(I believe it will in the longer term), you are still getting profits in term of fiat.

Yeah a gambling site owner itself told me that house always win even under the provably fair system. Funny since he is the owner then he stated that kind of statement lol.

You sound like you think that this proofs he is a scammer then. EVERY legit dice site will always win at the end. That is why it has the 1% house edge. It means that there is a small percentage of the chance in favor of the house, so the casino. It's fully normal since they offer you a business and they need to earn money.

If you thought that the chance of winning was 50% to 50% in reality then i wonder what you thought how casinos can be a big business.

Every non addicted forum member will tell you that gambling is a bad idea because you are at a disadvantage. That is no hidden secret.
1722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: January 13, 2016, 08:45:33 AM
Cloud mining is dead, so is rig rentals and altcoins altogether (unless you are a scammer offcourse)
Either go with faucets or try to do some task in return for bitcoin.
not all cloudmining is dead , you can try invest at Bit-X.com, hashnest.com , trusted place also you can trade your GHS ,
if you want to rent a rig to mining altcoin you should think twice, price of altcoin and how much altcoin you can get with your rig
yes when you want rental rigs to mine altcoins, better when the coin is really new and try to choose a coins that not many people are being mined the coins. because of my experience, I always lose when rental rigs to mine altcoins and never ROI and a lot of risks as well, when you mine the prices may fall away

I just wondered why people are spending time to rent rigs to mine new alts. Expecting a price kick for those new coins? Didn't you know that exchanging them in an exchange site is much better than renting rigs to mine other alts others than bitcoin. Face the real thing and don't do the usual thing in the past.

And fyi, as marco said, bitx has no longer provides cloudmining.

The answer are the first seconds. It's a gamble again though. But there are people that try to get their miners run the first seconds when mining starts. If they are lucky then they can find some blocks with having a relatively low hashrate. The hashrate will rise only after more miners jump on mining that coin. So if you are lucky then you can earn some bit.

But i think too many are trying that already.

Congrats for the repayments. Let's see what happens tomorrow.

lottery248, it is wishfull dreaming that he will get his negative trust removed. And honestly, i don't see a reason why a person that is not master-P should wish for that. There would be no reward at all for that.

The only explaination i can come up with is that you lost coins to master-P and for some reason you can't disclose that point to the public, so that you try to push master-P the positive way. But that sounds like a very vague story.

I sold QuantumDice to iron marvel.   Would it help anything if I dug through PM's and found information or not really?

My assumption was wrong it seems so i will take out what i wrote in here. Tongue

Quick overview at this moment:

Use this list as a starting point to see if you can find other links between them. Do not use my list as absolute proof. It is very common for two users to use the same IP at one point or another; 364 users have used the same IP as master-p, and the vast majority of them are not the same person.

Some of them seem to trade in the same goods (CS:GO skins, steam stuff, bitcointalk/reddit/etc accounts) and frequently trust "each other" - so I am sure there are much more "links" then the above listed ones. Obviously not every "link" is proof though.

Be free to quote/update/etc.

I took a moment to check my escrow labels with this list of usernames. Since i noticed before that i had a trade with master-P involved and me as escrow where he bought a steam acc on 20150627. I asked the seller about it but did not receive an answer in many days now. The seller was iflewtoday32.

iflewtoday sold an amazon account on 20150415.

IronMarvel bought something and the seller might know his address in case it turns out he is really master-P.

I don't have details about the other users i think.
1726  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Electrum - Lightweight Bitcoin Client on: January 12, 2016, 08:23:52 PM
Any idea how to fix the label issue?

Was the server code checked for potential limits that could lead to loss of labels?

To be safe i don't use that old wallet now anymore though it would be good when i would have the labels that are missing back. Maybe only the connection is lost that these labels belong to that wallet?

Can a developer help with that?
1727  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P SCAMMER. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: January 12, 2016, 08:02:54 PM
I think that master-P's account never changed ownership.

His password was changed four times:
2016-01-05 11:37:58
2015-12-17 13:55:10
2015-05-25 15:26:43
2014-10-19 04:07:48
No resets. All of the above changes were done by IPs which geolocate to the same general area. Also, his very first post and his very last post geolocate to the same general area. And for the last several months he's been using mainly the same IP.

Oh well, that sounds amateurish. Really might happen out of a sudden that he decided to scam now.
1728  Economy / Securities / Re: [CANNABIT] Investment Details - Announcement & Discussion Thread #cannabit on: January 12, 2016, 07:55:48 PM
Any info is available about when the shares will be traded?

No info at all. It mostly depends on how the issuer is reacting. If we help setting it up or the issuer and so on. At least it is pretty easy to do and tutorials for everything are available and easy to understand.
1729  Economy / Securities / Re: [CANNABIT] Investment Details - Announcement & Discussion Thread #cannabit on: January 12, 2016, 07:54:50 PM
Thank you very much for the update Cannabit.  It sounds like things are running smoother all the time and looking forward to Monday and your next update.

Keep up the great work!

Please check carefully, cannabit wasn't in the forum since some time. Iam only a shareholder working together with the biggest shareholders to push the issuer to keep his promises.

And yes, we shareholders put time and work in it to make this work too since the issuer most probably would do it in ages only otherwise.

We now try to negotiate with the issuer to make things run. As soon as i know more i will post about it.

I wish good luck to the one who receives that old account. Smiley

1732  Economy / Securities / Re: [CANNABIT] Investment Details - Announcement & Discussion Thread #cannabit on: January 11, 2016, 10:39:32 AM
I took a look at counterparty and counterwallet and i have to say it looks like a great, intuitive and very easy system to use. Compared to that NXT is very difficult.

I have hopes that it will work out with counterparty. I already made some tests with receiving shares from another project and some divs and it works easy like a child could use it. Smiley

Next thing would be to check out the migration process though it looks like it has to be done manually. Though i think it will not be too hard doing it manually because cannabit has not too many shareholders.

I hope this can be checked out fast so that the dividend of this month, which normally should be paid today, can be paid out fast.

If a shareholder wants to check out counterparty, here is a page with a lot of counterparty tutorials: http://foldingcoin.net/resources/video-tutorials/counterparty-guides/

The videos don't work for the most part but the picture tutorials are the way tutorials should always be. Smiley
1733  Economy / Securities / Re: [CANNABIT] Investment Details - Announcement & Discussion Thread #cannabit on: January 10, 2016, 07:31:54 PM
Thanks for the update!

Question: Do you guys think you can get one harvest/dividend per month going regularly in the future?

Iam only a shareholder who is with other shareholdersin contact ith the issuer. Normally it is the plan to have one dividend each month. Last month it didn't happen because a move had to happen for one farm, this month it seems we are at a halt because cryptostocks is down again. Roll Eyes

But the issuer seemed to wanted to pay the monthly div. We had to push him so i think our pushing is effective.
1734  Economy / Securities / Re: [CANNABIT] Investment Details - Announcement & Discussion Thread #cannabit on: January 08, 2016, 07:35:06 PM
Looks like a really solid investment, when will these shares to become tradable? Also can trade in this thread directly?
ty

Not as solid as we would wish for. The farms exist, we checked, the issuer had to be pushed to pay though the shares are still on cryptostocks, which is not cool. I will take a look at counterparty to see if it is worth something for this project.
1735  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P's scammed funds summary. Post your case here if you were scammed. on: January 05, 2016, 11:51:34 PM
coltlover, or let's say master-P, i'm sorry but i can't wrap my head around your twisted thoughts. It's getting too annoying trying to find a piece of common sense in you. Though when i read you so i have the impression we know already since a long time, you might be the user with the most accounts on bitcointalk and your nonsense seems to be always the same. I wonder if you really were able to impersonate master-P that well, it would need some shizophrenic abilities to handle it so good though when i read how the proven master-P writes now then it sounds quite possible.

Anyway... i don't care anymore.

Alles richtig?

Bitcoin is not even considered as money by legal officials...it may not even considered stealing.

Mustn't be considered money. It's something valuable stolen. Similar to paypal money taken from your account. Of course they would have to move in general.

And it doesn't matter that no 100% contract was established. Every judge will see what the purpose of sending the money to master-P was. If he can't proof against the private messages then that is the version the judge will believe. A written contract only is suggested for easier proof. But a spoken contract is valid too and we have even written details in private messages.

No, that is enough to proof that he did not get the coins donated.
1738  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P SCAMMER. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: January 05, 2016, 11:15:06 PM
How much would it cost to ship to Canada? (Postal code: L3X 0H8)

that is what i can provide when he was asking to ship a SSD from me. (this address even locates a house in google map)
it is the probable living position he is living on.

He probably lives in Canada then but no the postal code will not give you his address, Google Maps just zooms in to the center of the postal code or the most populated area.

if he put a fake address to me, he would't even be able to attempt to scam the SSD from me.

Except he lives near that address. It's a not seldom pracitioned scam tactic to let things being shipped to other peoples addresses, then wait for the postman there and claim to be the recipient. Did a postman ever ask you for your id before giving you the package?

Carders do that often.
1739  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P SCAMMER. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: January 05, 2016, 11:13:23 PM
Lawsuit my ass. So far not a single victim (including Master-P claiming to be hacked) has reported a crime. I guess on this forum people either accept getting stolen from or reject "authorities" so much that they'd rather lose their money than pursuing any avenue including these "authorities".

Don't get me wrong. I'm not telling you to go to the police cause your signature campaign failed to pay out a few dimes. But if I had lost considerably I'd file a report.

Rehashing my previous point, Master-P, if you got hacked and lost about $12.000 worth of property, where is the police report about this theft?

I might be wrong but it seems simply impossible for me to bring masterp to the court. He's an unofficial escrow of the forum. Nobody signed any piece of paper with him, nobody can quote a contract explaining his obligations or what he has the right to do...

Did anyone even specified that he was responsible for any fund to be stolen? Because if not you can already forget bringing him under the law...

That's the main point of internet. Fast, easy, but not really under the law :/

No, it's not that easy. A contract doesn't need to be written, it can be negotiated by a conversation only. It is only easier to prove having a conversation. And we even have that conversation in the form of private messages. His account is connectable to a living address too. That is enough to claim that the embezzlement happened.

And it's pretty clear what he should do. Escrow is a defined word on here and normally the details are negotiated between trading partners and escrow too.

He can be sued for sure. I only have my doubts that it will happen. The amount is so small that i think it will not happen at all. There are too many people on here who thinks to "not throw good money after bad money". And it's worse with this case. A lawsuit could cost much. Well, it might be possible to let the police investigate for free for the start.
1740  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P SCAMMER. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: January 05, 2016, 11:07:25 PM
It would humiliate him publicly, and send a negative vibe to scammers who come on this forum.
While he's still repaying, I don't think that public humiliation would be the best way to encourage him to set and maintain steady contact and repayments.

snip
You make me laugh sometimes. Releasing the dox now would create more unneeded drama as half the thread tries to scream "LAWSUIT" louder than everyone else. Not that you wouldn't like that I'm sure.
If he stops payments and cuts contact then there is a good reason to release the dox, otherwise you'd just be making this harder than it needs to be for all parties involved.

Lawsuit my ass. So far not a single victim (including Master-P claiming to be hacked) has reported a crime. I guess on this forum people either accept getting stolen from or reject "authorities" so much that they'd rather lose their money than pursuing any avenue including these "authorities".

I brought up the fact that MP never reported the "hack" to the authorities, but no one seemed to agree with that.  That's a huge red flag right there.

I agree, it is a huge red flag for sure. He wants to pay back but not trying to get his funds back form the "hacker"? He should have given his pc to the internet criminal department of the police and they check it out. Though... they might find out that nothing has happened maybe... Roll Eyes
