2301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 24, 2021, 11:44:58 AM
Casimero should remain chill and wont really that too aggressive because this do usually end up on bad results because of being careless which he must really see that probability. Most boxers do really aim for those kind of record which do slowly climbing on the top and getting recognized and Casimero is really heading on that way
but he needs to retain on what he had now because losing consecutively would really be giving out some negative impact when it comes to that.
The best thing to do is to beat out hell of a crap of those opponents that he would have along the way until he reaches Inoue.
Casimero should really learn from his mistakes before and be more focus in he court instead of being too aggressive without even thinking, if he wants to face work champion boxer he must do his best on his fight, I know the next goal is Inoue but he have to focus on this first since Butler is not an easy opponent at all.
I Guess he already learned mate, because not like in the past that he keeps displaying His attitude of Badmouthing ? now look at His camp staying iN Silence and not throwing any bad words towards Butler .

Looks like he is getting mature and mature now, and this is what he needs to become professional  boxer.

Nah, he doesn't have to trash talk Butler because he doesn't think Butler is hard to beat. lol

Casimero would never change, he loves to trash talk popular fighters so he can steal the attention of the fans, and in this case, there's no need because this fight is not a big fight and as reported in the past, he is not happy with the purse.
2302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 24, 2021, 11:19:08 AM
I read some articles that DeRozan is already ranked at number 3.

The ranking was

1. Curry,
2. Durant
3. DeRozan

What do you think about this, is it reliable based on the stats of DeRozan and the impact on the team?
I like to get your thoughts on this as I would try to put a bet on DeRozan to win.
You happen to bookmarked the article? I think there are explanations regarding how the writer manage to rank him in the third. I wonder how DeRozan ended on that mark though since I can't see his name from this stats on https://www.nba.com/stats/players/. I guess if it's on the impact of the game to his team, I partly agree on that. What do you mean to win? MVP race? I think there are still plenty of time for him to show it off.

The article below dated November 19, 2021 9:21 PM, shows the following ranking.

https://www.nba.com/news/kia-mvp-ladder-stephen-curry-rises-to-top-as-others-take-flight
1. Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors
2. Kevin Durant, Brooklyn Nets
3. Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets
4. DeMar DeRozan, Chicago Bulls

Maybe because Jokic has been out for few games, his spot was already taken by DeRozan, and I agree with the ranking.
2303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 23, 2021, 11:46:03 AM
Celtics bet was an easy one, congrats to the winners as they cover the spread.

I didn't know that Brown is already back in the game, but still good for Schroder as he is earning more minutes and dropping good numbers.
This is the most healthy Celtics I'm seeing, they are a great team and I would definitely bet on them even against a strong team.

and... Phoenix Suns continue their win streak, just unfortunate they failed to cover the spread.

2304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 23, 2021, 11:15:26 AM
I can't believe that Lebron was only suspended from one game while Isaiah Stewart has 2 games suspension.

I think the judgment is not fair, Lebron really is a superstar and the NBA really likes him.
However, the amount he loses is very huge because one-game suspension is equivalent to  $284.004 not being paid for him.

2305  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tesla accepting Bitcoin payments and ..... Doge ? on: November 22, 2021, 11:00:55 PM
This guy reached to a level where he is worth nearly 300 billion dollars. Literally 300 billion dollars, he even sold some of his stock and paid a ton of taxes just to prove a point. Don't get me wrong what he has invested so far and what he is building is magnificent for our world, he knows that earth can't sustain the way it is right now and that means we need to go a lot more green right now (which he helps with Tesla) and we will need to leave as soon as possible (which he helps with spacex) and all of that is nice and all.

However he worths 300 BILLION DOLLARS, doesn't that look a bit too excessive for you? I am not saying that we should take his money away, if he reached there then we let him be there, but maybe we should all stop glorifying all these rich people already and stop giving them all of our money because it is %100 damn certain that the stock of Tesla should not be that high but just because he is quirky and funny there are millions of retail investors who buy Tesla stock and made it 10x overvalued.
The company accepts Bitcoin as it might be the demand of the people but I don't think if that is because of Doge's stance. Now, Doge is sitting on the corner need supports to gain hypes. But I don't think if Elon Musk will do it again as many people as possible don't buy the hypes again.

Well, anyway...
I don't think that he is more concerned about the tax, he's getting proud of becoming The number one among the richest people in the world and that he'd likely to keep that record and that is why he uses his money to invest more and more. Kinda be worrying that he forgets to protect his reputation in real life than being in love with money.
2306  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading and it uncertainties on: November 22, 2021, 12:55:07 PM
First, you need to educate yourself, keep learning from your experience so you'll know how to manage the risk. Lastly, always risk what you can afford only, as in that matter there's not much pressure you would feel as a trader, treat it like you are just playing a game and that you need to make a strategy in order to win consistently.

The most important thing is experience, if you don't have enough experience, you will likely makes mistakes as more experience will make you more matured since you are familiar already with how the market move.
2307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you guys think is Shiba Inu Coin a better investment than Dogecoin? on: November 19, 2021, 09:03:17 PM
Not one or the other of these ventures have a substantial use-case. They are meme-coins. Theoretical betting at best. I’d be lying on the off chance that I said I never possessed any. But fair a number of dollars here or there. These aren’t genuine ventures for genuine investors. And they likely won’t be around within the next 10 year.
I guess next 10 years would be too far away to speculate about these "just memecoins". But, we could expect anyone of these coin to be getting a new usecase which will get that to be sustaining along with bitcoins. I am confident about dogecoin to be excelling along with spacex adoption. If Elon Musk will not change his mindset then there will not be any changes in the progress of dogecoin's growth. But, I am always afraid of Elon Musk's swing mood and withdrawing support for cryptocurrencies.
As for now, I still couldn't expect huge from Shiba Inu, not ven from Doge. Although Dogecoin has been existed in the market for several years but can't just see it increase its value (not that shilling matter made by Elon). But for sure this project will remain as many traders are still able to use this. But to know that they are meme coins, that something it gives us the doubts.

Well, it has to know that it still matters how we manage them. In fact, many investors have been in huge profit investing these projects during the hype, they are in perfect timing. Thus, if we could still afford to take the risk out from them, that was our choice either.
2308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies have the lowest transaction fees? on: November 19, 2021, 08:32:26 PM
The most common types of of transaction fees are:

Exchange Fees (a commission that will come about when you complete a buy or sell order)
Network Fees (entails a charge to cover the mining network that runs in a blockchain)
Wallet Fees (will come from whatever currency wallet you utilise, but not all wallets will produce these fees).

Some of the lowest fees in the industry include the following: TRON, EOS, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Bitcoin

resource: https://swapzone.io/learn/lowest-transaction-fees

ANOTHER SUGGESTIONS: XRP, SOL, DOGE, IOTA, XLM, MATIC, BNB, BSW
XRP is what I use for my major transactions and it was having huge difference compared to BTC and ETH. As long as there is an option for XRP, I certainly have to choose it. Doge is another option...I wanted to try the other coins, not from the list but unfortunately, my receiving wallet never supports other cryptocurrencies, maybe on the exchanges - exchanges.

Anyway, fees really matter for us as wanted to save some costs. But for me, as long as it wasn't big enough, I'm still be fined. Well, we have to move/transfer our coins in bulk for that sake.
2309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if governments make Bitcoin centralized? on: November 19, 2021, 03:17:20 PM
BTC as One World Currency Grin Why would they even think of that in the first place? Each country will always prioritize their own national interest and will continue to protect their own currency. Hard to think they will ever unite just to control Bitcoin when they cannot do it to fiat for decades/centuries. Of course, there is a slim chance but that would probably take an alien invasion.
China had made this thing first and they create Digital Yuan after Bitcoin. They'll make themselves protect their own benefits and have nothing to share with others, and this will happen to the other countries someday. And maybe, all the countries will make their own digital currencies just for the sake of not to replace with crypto. Like, no matter what we do, no matter how powerful the country they are, this could never happen and Bitcoin will remain decentralized.
2310  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: November 19, 2021, 12:07:13 PM
Great decision by  Canelo Alvarez, moving up gives him a better opportunity to prove that he can become a champion in a high division. There's nothing for him to prove since he is already an undisputed champion in his current division.

There is nothing for him in his current division as GGG will likely lose in his fight with Murata this December  Grin.
That's not gonna happen because we will see once again a fight between GGG and Canelo.  Smiley

Makabu poses a legit threat to Canelo's career as the former is much bigger than him and as we all know Canelo seems to have a problem with heavier guys.

This fight will happen in May as the highlight of Cinco de Mayo festivities.
Well, you have a point as I have not seen Canelo fought against a heavier fighter, and if he loses here then most likely the trilogy of Canelo and GGG that we are waiting for might finally happen.
2311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul on: November 19, 2021, 11:26:42 AM
I'm a bit scared for the sport of boxing if he wins.

I am more scared how they influence on professional athletes. For example, I am a MMA fan. After such boxing exhibition fights, many ufc fighters started to ask for a greater pay cheque for their fights. They refuse to fight if they wont be paid hundred thounsands, while previously a solid fighter get 20-50k for the fight. Instead if dreaming of becoming a champ, they dream to fight this clowns. One fight against a clown brings them same money they would earn in a couple of years. If the UFC management agrees to pay their fighters more, that would mean they would have to find that money somewhere? Where can they be found? In a greater ticket and ppv price for example.

Money is really the main purpose why boxers would risk their life or their health.

We can't blame it on the organizers of the exhibition fight as they are also running their business, it's just that they are so smart in promoting their fight and the fans are attracted with it. Without the fans, exhibition fights will not succeed, so the real fights should also try to improve their marketing so they'll not left behind in the competition, and accept that exhibition fights are already a norm in the sport now.
yups it is the fans that makes exhibition matches succeed because typical gamblers won't put their funds inside matches that can be manipulated .

but hope that this fight will end up with no DRAW decisions , i am scared more of the outcomes since some previous matches in exhibitions ended up Draw.

There's nothing to be afraid of because if you are a bettor, you can choose to bet on the "DRAW" and most likely the odds are high. Actually, the draw bet makes sense because Jake Paul is a superstar in this exhibition matches, so if Fury would not be able to convince the judges in this fight, Jake Paul will remain undefeated as a draw is likely be the verdict.
2312  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we witness year end bullrun or bull trap? on: November 19, 2021, 08:06:13 AM
This is already a year of the bull run because bitcoin reach a new ATH this year, it's just in the past few days that bitcoin price is dropping and it's not a big deal as we've witnessed this kind of correction in the past. This year also, we witness bitcoin's low but was able to recover easily, so a dump now should not be surprising as it could really happen despite in a bullish market.
2313  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it safe to buy now? on: November 19, 2021, 07:47:37 AM
The logic for investment is buying low and selling high and currently Bitcoin has a new ATHs is it safe to encourage new investor to buy now seeing how high the price has gone? My fear for new investors is that the don't experience a dip after buying since no one is sure of how far the new highs will reach.
It depends on what strategy you will use and your target.

Bitcoin reaches $68k this year and now it dumps to $55k, I guess it has already dipped hard enough giving us an opportunity to earn in short term. However, it does not guarantee anything as $55k might is already the lowest as it could dip further and that could result to panic transforming the market from bull market to bear market.
2314  Economy / Gambling / Re: Multidice.io | The multi-currency dice game | 35+ cryptos on: November 19, 2021, 07:23:58 AM
Nice site, the kind of feature they have such as withdrawals are free from fees would normally attract gamblers.

From the site https://multidice.io/

Is that a permanent one or just a promo? And how much is the minimum withdrawal?
Sorry to ask, I have no sign up yet, I just saw it in the main page of the site.
2315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why businesses should accept Bitcoin payment on: November 18, 2021, 11:57:18 PM
Personally I don't see why many business wouldn't accept bitcoin as a payment form.  I think by adding bitcoin as a payment form it makes your business a bit more diverse in some ways.  I recently helped my dog groomer set up a little stand with a bitcoin QR code to be able to accept bitcoin from her customers.  This kind of set up is such a good idea in my mind.  Helps you diversify your payments into an investment as well.
I believe same as bitcoin will serve as edge over every transaction most especially in a business setting that payment is required and speed and scalability is desired. Cross border payment will be made easy.
Talking about speed, that becomes unmeasurable knowing that it adds more traffic on the networks once we all use crypto. I expect delays during that time and I think this needs to address first before we got this biggest change and adoption. And we have to consider the fees and might to happen the people will still choose fiat money if that they can save the fees. Time and convenience really matter but if the confirmation is still in delays, can be a problem.
2316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future on: November 18, 2021, 11:26:36 PM
need to know that bitcoin and bank systems are different, as well as others. I think they all have their advantages. With the existence of new technology and also new discoveries, it does not mean that old technology is also abandoned because each technology has its own advantages. although now the development of technology is growing rapidly but many people are not able to accept it well. I think it will be difficult even to wait for this to happen in the next few years.
Some will lose their functions but some will retain and still exists. Banks and fiat money still have their purpose and value in the community that we can never think will vanish and replace by crypto and blockchain technology.  I'm for sure this will never happen and what we gonna see is adoption by the banks and they have to just for the sake of fulfilling the needs of the people and their old clients.

2317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 18, 2021, 11:59:54 AM
How about Porter by KO?

That x15 is very sweet, I'm sure everyone is betting on Crawford to win but since Porter has not been KO in his fights, then maybe he has a chance to pull an upset and that is by knocking out Crawford. Does anyone sees it possible to happen?

Not sure if he can pull a KO against Crawford mate. Unless he is extremely lucky and caught Crawford coming it and then he it him so hard that he didn't see it coming.

But in any case, I'm not seeing it happening, Crawford is too intelligent to be KO. If there is a chance for Porter to pull an upset, it might be in the judges score card with a split decision win.

That's why the odds is very high because there's a little chance that Porter will upset Crawford in this fight.
As per this odds calculated, https://www.aceodds.com/bet-calculator/odds-converter.html... 15 is equivalent to 6.7% chance of winning, so that's really low.
2318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bovada removing bitcoin as payment option on: November 18, 2021, 11:36:50 AM
Maybe there's a conflict on the regulatory requirements, you know the regulations change from time to time and I believe Bovada would love to continue accepting bitcoin if there's no problem with their regulators. I'm trying to find the reason online but there's no article stating about it, so we will be left speculating here.
2319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to avoid all scams? on: November 17, 2021, 10:52:37 PM
Do you think it is possible to completely get rid of scams?
we can't avoid them but not stop scammers as they still find a way to succeed. if we are too careless and do not even help ourselves to do research before investing or that because someone suggested, I can really imagine of losing.

Quote
Hello everybody. I think everyone who has ever been involved in cryptocurrency investments is interested in the question of how to protect themselves from scams and loss of money. Recently I learned about the CheckDot project, which creates a platform with which it will be possible to get an assessment of any project in the blockchain world. In theory, this way you can get rid of a lot of scams, but does it help?

What do you think, is it possible to somehow get rid of scams among crypto projects?

Honestly, I was not familiar with this project but I have no intention to dig this deeper just to know if that is a legit or a scam thing. You have to check this thoroughly and don't get tempted with a huge offer because this is the common market offer that scammers do in order to attract investors.
2320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No one can continue ignoring Bitcoin on: November 17, 2021, 10:13:43 PM
Bitcoin have come to stay and nobody can ignore it forever, sooner or later everyone will just have to accept it when I started cryptocurrency all my friends insulted me they told me different things even my parents told me I was just wasting my time but currently all my friends are having bitcoin and other coins in their wallet and the funniest part is that my parents are also holding bitcoin currently.
Curiosity and the popularity of Bitcoin make them come and embrace this technology. They might be setting Bitcoin aside but someday, this will be their center of attraction, and can't even hold themselves to adopt and use it. There will be a perfect time for crypto, it is just for now that the adoption and acceptance of the major establishments are not quite known to everyone. But once it happens that they are accepting this, we can expect a massive growth of users at that time.
