2301  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BYBIT LOCKED 12 BTCS OF MINE, WHAT DO I DO? on: June 28, 2021, 06:56:30 AM
As I said above though, the good news is they have to return it to you if you cannot verify. They cannot seize it.

Source that this possibly applies to OP's case? cause bybit is doing the exact opposite which could get them sued if your claim is true.

Source is me:) I did not use Bybit but I have been refused KYC twice at two exchanges before and of course,,, I got quite worried, as I submitted KYC but they could not accept it. They did freeze withdrawal first and deposits, but they both told me because I asked:)

AML procedures for any bank and financial institution is simple. If you cannot pass their process, they refuse the business,,, not confiscate. They legally cannot confiscate, they can only report it and return to you the funds.
2302  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io- Club House- The best EURO 2021 promotions around!!🚀 on: June 28, 2021, 06:25:55 AM
Very sad, guys. My outright pick Portugal has crashed out. It feels like a small consolation that we did try very hard, and had many chances,,, unlike Netherlands who apparently just had 1 shot on goal. But in the end, a lose is a loss,,, so now I have to watch Wimbledon and hope for Djoker outright:P

Everybody happy with betting on weekend?
2303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 28, 2021, 06:04:31 AM
I had no idea Murray is playing,,, so am very happy too:) That guy deserves a lot of commendation for the way he keeps finding a way to play on, but then this is why tennis greats are great.

Got two nice bets to start off my day today, just straight wins for the favs and that is all there is to it for me today on tennis. Will wait for the roster to get smaller before picking off more.

2305  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is bitcoin plunging? What is the reason for this? on: June 25, 2021, 01:35:47 PM
people do have a right to freak out and if nobody did, we would never be able to have all these wonderful opportunities to get Bitcoin at the dips or to enjoy longer periods of accumulation. 2018-2020 was the wonderful time for me, people freaked out and delayed Bitcoin getting to 20k again. May it happen much more for all of us who have yet to achieve our Bitcoin dreams:)
Not all the drops are about freak outs, I mean sure some people definitely freaked out but I believe there is 50-50% in both of those. First of all the drop wasn't all freak out, maybe half of it, the other half was selling to buy cheaper, the liquidations and many other stuff bla bla, but it wasn't all people panic selling.

Secondly not all the people who say bitcoin is dying are the people who sell and fear it will, some of them are people who just hate bitcoin. I have seen people who never bought a single satoshi in their life go crazy happy about bitcoin going down, it is just bad people I suppose who do not want other sto profit from something they didn't profit from, if they are poor then everyone should be poor instead of everyone should be rich, that is sort of the mindset. At the end of the day not everything is all good and not everything is all bad.

I agree it was not a freak out, not in terms of how deep the markets crashed (as they did not really) but I was just saying that people do have the right to freak out:) And I am happy that they do,,, because it keeps us below rally levels for longer, meaning much more powerful and longer rallies when they eventually come:)

For me, everything that happens is good, for the long run!
2306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 25, 2021, 01:03:12 PM
I heard some news like Manchester City would be willing to wait for Kane for even one more year if necessary. Because Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy still wants a great deal of money for him. It is around £150m. And Kane doesn't seem like he will be interested in his probable transfer to a team before Euro 2020 ends for him. I hope that Kane doesn't get stuck at Tottenham in the next season again. He should already have left the team already in one of the previous seasons. He also doesn't see his future here anymore.

Kane is a great player,,, I love him and hope we keep him forever but even last season I already prepared myself for him to leave and I know he also feels unappreciated at the club, I wish him the best. But 150 million? No player is worth this much in today's market for sure!

I just want him to be happy though, so whatever happens, even if he stays, I hope Levy does right by him. He deserves more than us.
2307  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Manipulation Logic? on: June 25, 2021, 11:59:07 AM
He did not just drop out because of environmental problems.
1. He did not sell (not all) of the Bitcoin that Tesla owned. Even if he wanted to am sure he does not have the final say.
2. He only said Tesla stopped accepting BTC. But when they did, who bought Teslas with BTC anyway?
That so happens that whales manipulate the market and one of them is Elon Musk. But for now, I tried to forget his name and to accept that the crypto market has already in a curse of manipulation. Many of these whales just keep themselves anonymously, we don't know that some of them are government officials or known personalities.

Even though we don't like the idea of being manipulated but we know also that these people make the market alive and help the market to grow. In fact, we can't also deny that small investors are benefiting the market when there is hype happens. We are also in profit just like them.

Honestly I do not think individuals have the time to sit around and play this game so a lot of the socalled "manipulation" that people say happens is really just the market being normal. I mean, as I said,,, this is crypto. Realism from stocks and forex do not apply here. We have to expect the unrealistic to happen, but of course, people only take it for the positive side:)
2308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH Hit $6K this week? on: June 25, 2021, 11:34:18 AM
And can you blame them? It was never "realistic" for a currency to go from zero to $60k in 11 years!

I don't think it's easy to reverse the facts that happened easily, especially regarding something that has been carried out for a long time. I agree with your opinion that saying something is easy but realistically it is not and is it possible !!

like bitcoin will die and replace fiat, it seems like an easy thing to do but the fact it will not be easy to happen, all can say but whether the statement can be accepted with a clear understanding. it took a long time for bitcoin to become like this and suddenly have to die, whereas many people are still investing in bitcoin, which indicates that there is still a market available for bitcoin.

as well as replacing the role of fiat, it will not be easy to do because the system alone is different and impossible to put together but it is very possible to fill in each other's voids from each other's shortcomings.

Yes,,, the Bitcoin will replace fiat idea is a nice one but this is where reality can be applied. I would say almost 100% of us into Bitcoin still live on fiat, and that's not a choice, just the way life is. As much as we can live with crypto, life requires fiat. Food, shelter, basic necessities,,, paying in crypto only is not just difficult, it is impossible. For now.
2309  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: best indicator hunt ? on: June 25, 2021, 09:14:07 AM
Of all the ones listed, the ones you see the major news outlets using is RSI and MA, I hardly see anybody using Fib anymore unlike the early days. Anyone know why?

If you are looking for a unique indicator that doesn't always use you can check tradingview it's free just register on them and then go to chart look for indicators and then go to the public library you can see there are likes on the right lowest must be the unique one.

Thanks for this too,,, I haven't used Tradingview in a really long time but this is a new feature then. I have been trying to compile a series of indicator guides like a glossary:) Something for a new freelance project for some guys.

This is a messy fast chart, 15m bars but the idea would be simple stay above the blue line for fast momentum and if not then at least above the horizontal line which is important support across days and weeks.  Target is just below 40k where we will meet our old friend the 50 day moving average and this is probable selling and where a true measure of strength will occur.    For most of the 2021 we stayed above 50 day so its a weight over us now.
Just now the highs are retracting from weekly average which is the standard boundary between negative and positive trending market.

Very hard to see this happening in this period of extremely high selling pressure I think but you are right, as long as when we stretch to days and weeks view, if we can stay close to the line or even above it then there is enough momentum to prepare in the case of consolidation.

Need to break 50MA first and like you said where plenty of sellers are waiting.
2312  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BYBIT LOCKED 12 BTCS OF MINE, WHAT DO I DO? on: June 25, 2021, 07:23:07 AM
When Bybit launched, one of their selling points was there was need for KYC verification. This was when they were still a small exchange with low volume looking to compete with the likes of Bitmex and attract traders, but the tables are now slowly turning. In fact, they are already restricting traders from certain countries, which mean anybody can be requested KYC verification at any time.

12 BTC is a huge amount you can send to any exchange, minus going through their terms of Service. Even exchanges that have lax KYC requirements like Binance or Kucoin have a 2 BTC and 5 BTC maximum daily limits respectively for withdrawals in unverified accounts. 12 BTC or the equivalent in USDT is way above that.

You mean there was no need for KYC verification right?Smiley

I actually saw them putting loads of ads on Etherscan at some point and even if you surfed some of those yahoo ads,,, you would get Bybit ads pushed (which was strange because they were an exchange but I guess it was a different time).

As I said above though, the good news is they have to return it to you if you cannot verify. They cannot seize it.
2313  Other / Off-topic / Re: John McAfee Found Dead in Spanish Cell After Extradition Announcement on: June 25, 2021, 07:02:36 AM
Whatever he was he was a clever fame hungry man. He tweeted that he would not kill himself, then killed himself. Knowing that the conspiracy theories will go on and on and hence his name will go on too. He was scared of going to the us and spending his remaining days in prison. He did kill himself imo but left it open so people speak of him.

Fame hungry maybe not really,,, I think he was already famous and in his older age he found a time and admiration for his golden era. I know he was a good man deep down just deeply troubled,,, not to forget all his unethical behavior for crypto (but at least he was honestly saying he was a shiller for money, so cannot really say he did not warn people).

May we look back on him kindly for what he did after all do for Bitcoin's awareness.
2314  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io- Club House- The best EURO 2021 promotions around!!🚀 on: June 25, 2021, 05:49:14 AM
What do you think boys?

Shill me your quarter finalists.

For me it is simple,,, the teams who had the toughest times and yet went through will be the ones who defeat their Last 16 opponents,,, in this case for example, Germany will probably beat England (but so hard to decide because England were saving up maybe).

I have Portugal outright bet so I will say:
Portugal
Germany
Spain
Italy
Wales
Netherlands
Sweden
France
2315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 25, 2021, 05:14:11 AM
Tsitsipas doesn't play well in grass, so it will be a surprised to see him even in the quarter finals.

But yeah, Djokovic path's is clear, unless he make another silly mistakes of hitting the umpire or something, his chances are very high right now to win the Wimbledon. I don't see anyone right now that can match him mentality in closing matches. But who knows, maybe we can see someone pulling an upset but it will be a long shot.

Hope so for me because I will be betting on his outright, meanwhile I hope Barty also keeps her mantle of being favorite because I need them both to win to enjoy some good betting wins. Who do you think are the ones likely to go to final and have odds better than 10x? Cause I would like to take that bet.

Betting match by match has been difficult, losing even though picking the right guy eventually;)
2316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Chainlink (LINK) a good investment? on: June 24, 2021, 04:47:51 PM
LINK is now showing its profits to those who trusted their investment, many had bought in the DIP and others only sold due to the panic that BTC showed by falling, although they still remain that predictions that BTC will reach $ 20k, LINK for its Part is entering a slight Bullish tendency:

For now anyway,,, but kudos to all of you who got in early on defi and all these smart contract oracles. I still did not budge from my positions but I may at some point look at some of these coins IF I can find a use for them personally. Because I still refuse to buy a coin I cannot use,,, as much as a hodler mentality I can have in general:)
2317  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Excessive stimulus and devaluation of dollar gave bitcoin and gold their appeal on: June 24, 2021, 02:58:14 PM
2020? wrong. He's already in bitcoin a long time ago and I've already seen him doing some videos talking about bitcoin even before 2020. I guess you've just watched or heard him lately but in reality, he's really one of the gurus who have been advocating buying bitcoin years ago. He's a known financial guru, I think you have to check what he's saying about bitcoin. He doesn't have to be an expert Shiller such as Elon or McAfee because he's only pointing out to bitcoin as an investment along with his real estate advice and other investment techniques.

I just looked and actually he seems to first Tweet it in 2018. Which is still not long ago and AFTER the last crypto rally in 2017 so yes, he is not an expert for sure. I know he is a financial guru but that is actually nothing in crypto,,, if anything it makes him a poor choice to listen to because he bases all his rules on traditional finance and not modern crypto.

Not that I hate him of course,,, just saying he came into Bitcoin even later than most of us and being a banker and investment expert does not make you an expert about BTC:)
2318  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is bitcoin plunging? What is the reason for this? on: June 24, 2021, 01:57:52 PM
Bitcoin is dead
Bitcoin is over
blah blah blah...

If we do consider on how many times bitcoin had died then these plunging is something
to be part or casual events on this market.

People shouldn't freak out and instead seeing these events as opportunities.

Well,,, people do have a right to freak out and if nobody did, we would never be able to have all these wonderful opportunities to get Bitcoin at the dips or to enjoy longer periods of accumulation. 2018-2020 was the wonderful time for me, people freaked out and delayed Bitcoin getting to 20k again. If you guys come across some Brentford FC transfer rumors, news, etc...  Please post them right away, thanks.  They’re going to be the club to watch in the EPL next season if they stay up or not.  I’m willing to put a small bet for them to survive their first year in the EPL.
Brenford journey has been fantastic this season, after beating Swansea City in this season play-off final, and after 74 years, Brenford finally managed to secure a place for the first time competing in the Premier League top tier next season.
But there are very few rumors circulating. regarding transfer activities this season, apart from a few brenford players leaving and not yet new player has been signed by brenford for next season. But now brenford is in positive talks with one of the Midtjylland FC players who plays as a midfielder, namely Frank Onyeka.

I think they will stay in actually,,, as they were unlucky season before this not to do it losing all their games after a long season, I think English Premier League will be better for these teams as they play fewer games in their first season and are better adjusted but if they lose their stars it will be very difficult.

Remember last season they lost Benrahma and Ollie Watkins who both made their teams a lot better (West Ham and Aston Villa)
2320  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Manipulation Logic? on: June 24, 2021, 01:11:04 PM
You really don't need an expert to tell you what really happened, you have big investors like Elon Musk and his companies investing billions of dollars into bitcoin, and that created so much hype and excitement in the community that made so many people invest more and that drove then price up, and than he suddenly drops out because of environmental problems caused by mining, and china actually taking serious measures against bitcoin miners and the panic that all of that caused so many people to sell that drove the price down.
