Ronaldo behaviours towards his transfer is now looking some how greedy and selfish,  what I think about Ronaldo is that he always want to be in a club that is doing fine already but not always to remain in a club that is striving to do better when the club needs his presence badly. I think because of this attitude that is why most big clubs may not have interest to sign him, he is looking for a big club to make name to his carreer but not to help clubs to stand strong.
I honestly can't fault Ronaldo's ideas, neither will i call him greedy or selfish, he does not want to leave Manchester United because he is not happy financially, he wants to leave because of the club's inability to compete for trophies, and their absence from the Champions League, no player of Ronaldo's status and level will be excited to play in the Europa League, so why should he. Big players play in big clubs, that is how it has always been, it is not peculiar to Ronaldo, Manchester United is a big club, but they are doing pretty bad at the moment, and the thing is, nobody knows when they will come good, they don't look like they can compete for the EPL next season.

Ronaldo himself is not a youngster, thus he doesn't have too many years left ahead of him, i am pretty sure he doesn't want to spend the few years he has left in his career struggling, and i can understand that, imagine Ronaldo not playing in the CL next season, and Manchester United still miss out on top four again at the end of next season, which is very possible.

Principle Agreement  has been reached between Barcelona and Sevilla for Jules Kounde for a fixed fee of 50 million euros plus 10 million euros in variables. Agreement was reached yesterday after Barcelona improved on their first offer of 40 million + variables of 5 million. Well, Barcelona are on a spending spree at the moment. I guess TV rights money did come in handy and they are using it mainly to improve the squad.
Well that is another Chelsea target heading to the Camp Nou, crazy summer transfer market isn't it, i am pretty sure Chelsea will be sweating now on what their options are, they have less than two weeks till the league starts, and they are pretty far from being ready, either in defense or in attack, Kounde was on their radar for quite a long while, at one point we all thought he was going to Chelsea, but at the moment, it is almost certain that he is joining Xavi's men in Spain.

I don't know if it is TV right's money that has enabled Barcelona to spend this much in this window, we would see what the effects of all these will be with time; having said that, i think Barcelona are now strong enough to compete, it is going to be a very interesting season for them, i do not think they will struggle like they did at the beginning of last season, they have enough quality players to compete with the very best teams. As for Chelsea, i hope they do not go into panic buying and make mistakes, well there is still a long time before the window shuts, but it is much better to finish your transfer business before the season starts, i don't think that is possible for Chelsea right now, they'll prolly buy players, even deep into August.

I don't know why they bought Ramsey at the first place. He is well known for being a fragile player having lots of injuries and he misses lots of goal opportunities. His career is basically over.
It prolly is, Aaron Ramsey has struggled for fitness for quite a long time now, to be honest i do not blame Juventus at all for terminating his contract with them, they bought him with a lot of hope and optimism, and made him one of their highest earners in the club, i think Ramsey was earning around £400k every week, thus when a club pays you that high, you are expected to deliver for them on the pitch, and that is something Ramsey did not manage to do at all; even when he was pushed out on loan to Rangers, he didn't perform too. I do not know what the next chapter is for Aaron, but i think he will prolly move to a smaller club, so that he can get enough playing time and see if he can revive his career. I would love to see him in the EPL again though, maybe the recent 'money-club' Newcastle can sign him. Grin
2326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: July 26, 2022, 09:32:08 PM
Chelsea should not relax on the transfer window, Thomas Tuchel will need to look at strengthening the offense, Chelsea attack is poor, they are not scoring goals. Sterling is supposed to be Lukaku's replacement, Lukaku didn't have a great season under Thomas Tuchel but he was still Chelsea's highest goal scorer. Chelsea need goal scorers, their defense is strong but they need goals yo win matches.
I don't think Chelsea's defense can be considered strong, and i also agree with you that they prolly need a striker (Werner is poor), i wouldn't consider Raheem Sterling to be a striker, he doesn't have that confidence in front of goal and he misses really clean chances to put the ball in the back of the net, i know he scored a plethora of goals for City, but that was because of how the team played, City makes everything so easy, if Sterling is to play as a striker in Chelsea, where the service behind him isn't as slick as at City, he would struggle to score goals.

Having said that, they also need to sign another central defender, Koulibaly isn't enough in my opinion. I do not think Chelsea will be fully ready when the season starts, even Tuchel doesn't think so too, he said the same thing a couple of days ago; before they prolly start to find their feet, it is possible that either City or Liverpool might have started running away with the title.

I believe this is what the table is trying to break down to help new investors. The bigger question is, is this achievable by anyone or do we have anyone who has tried out this similar methods before ?
Yes it is an achievable method, a user mustn't go for the goal of reaching 1BTC, so you do not invest more than you can afford to lose in trying to achieve that, just 'dollar cost average' on what you can afford periodically and grow your portfolio, the thing is to ensure that whatever amount you're allocating for DCA should not affect you financially in RL, accumulate on your own financial pace, after all it's a long term investment.
2328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your ultimate choice? on: July 26, 2022, 07:12:44 PM
I don't know your purpose of asking, but if you want to use the replies to form your own investment strategy and pattern, then you should be careful, make sure you do your own research even after receiving advice from people. I am a long term investor, so Bitcoin is my only choice, it is a long term project that is sustainable for the long years, if you are a long term hodler, Bitcoin is the coin you should buy, short term plunges will occur, but long term appreciation is somewhat certain. Having said that, if you are a short term investor, you might want to try other projects, they can give you short term ROI, but the risk in them is higher.

No bi say I bi bad belle oh, but I for like make them kidnap Buhari and El Rufai. For how many month now wey that kidnap happen, dem go tell me say them no know where does terrorist dey? People dey pay ransom and them release dem, who dey collect the ransom and for where dem dey drop am? Atleast if dem catch Buhari, Osibanjo go takeover and we go see wetin him go fit do until our oga come out from the kidnapper's den. Atleast if dem flog am the way dem they flog those innocent Nigerians, him brain go set well.
The matter weak me oh, indeed "there was a country", kidnapping now don become "lucrative" business for Nigeria, them go just kidnap person begin request for ransom, if you pay, them release you, honestly the matter don reach make every Nigerian begin mourn for this country. Since them abduct those people for that Abuja-Kaduna train, na so them they release people wey comply to their demands, the government never do anything about am, and those men they this country oh. How is it possible say them hold those people captive for this same Nigeria, yet our security operatives never fit do anything, no progress or effort directed towards their release, it is disheartening, APC don really do us something.

Cristiano Ronaldo is traveling back to Manchester today & will hold talks with Man Utd on future. Unclear if/when 37yo will return to training or just getting there for negotiations. Club stance is still that he is not for sale + expect him to be important part of side next season. Should be an interesting 48 hours on how the story evolves.
Really going to be interesting to say the least, i am very eager to see how all of this pans out, i think Ronaldo's major problem is the lack of CL football next season, he can't just imagine not being in the biggest stage, i can imagine that too, the Europa League is definitely not of his standard, but it is what it is, and that is where United find themselves, thus its either Europa League or he leaves; and the problem is not just Europa League football, Manchester United do not also look like a team that will be challenging for the EPL this new season, Ronaldo loves to win, thus staying in a team where the possibility of winning is slim is a bad choice for him.

Having said that, i would love to see how the club manages to convince him to stay, the thing here is no team seems to be interested in Ronaldo, i believe he will leave if he gets a suitable offer in a good team, United can't hold someone like him back, but with no offer forthcoming, maybe his only option would be to remain at Old Trafford next season.
2331  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Terrorist Planning to Kidnap Nigeria President on: July 25, 2022, 09:00:45 PM
The high rate of terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and in general insecurity in Nigeria is frightening, but rather 'unfortunately' it wouldn't culminate in the president being kidnapped, these elite men have managed to sufficiently protect themselves, but sadly what is going to happen is that more innocent citizens will fall victim to this terrorists and the government doesn't seem to care. 2023 is going to be a pivotal one, i hope Nigerians can use their PVC's to elect a leader that will represent them better.
2332  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This is why Bitcoin is the only way on: July 25, 2022, 08:38:55 PM
It's actually about being our own banks. It's actually about self-custody. It's all about full control. Bitcoin as a way would prove pointless if we forget that it is about freedom and independence. Bitcoin in Binance is no Bitcoin at all. Bitcoin staked in centralized platforms is no Bitcoin at all.
+1
To summarize it, Bitcoin without responsibility is basically fruitless and counter-productive, i honestly do not think this point can ever be overemphasized, people who use Bitcoin must understand the responsibility that comes with it, you can't choose to be your own bank and not take responsibily to protect your funds and be in complete control. Bitcoin without responsibility isn't freedom at all, if you do not control your funds, then you are not using Bitcoin in the right way, neither are you free from censorship, and we use Bitcoin mainly to evade censorship from government/centralized services. To enjoy Bitcoin perfectly is to take responsibility of your funds.
2333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Terra Classic scam? on: July 25, 2022, 08:02:26 PM
Terra Classic is not a scam. It just happened to be a victim of an unfortunate experiment. And if new projects can start to launch on the chain and burning taxes are applied and rightly implemented, it can possibly be at 100x from its current value.
That is some optimism i must say, to be honest i'd not be that optimistic about Terra classic, the coin is basically dead and i think people need to come to grips with that, i know the more people that are trying to show believe are prolly hodling some of it and they hope there can be a pump so they make ROI, but let us be honest, the chances of that happening is pretty low, if not impossible. If you haven't got any Terra, then you would be doing yourself a favor not to get any, look elsewhere, and to other projects, but if you are tired of shitcoins altogether, then just buy Bitcoin.

She really represent, and she also be source of encouragement to us all say if we work hard ehn, try out best, we fit achieve anything, nothing go they impossible again.
2335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 24, 2022, 09:22:09 PM
I also think that Barcelona should stop going for new transfers from now on. They are spending the money like it is unlimited. They are doing this even on purpose despite being aware of their big debt. They have already made impressive signings and I think these are enough to have a successful season. No matter how many transfers they make, they will need to show a high-level performance anyway. However I'm sure that the rumours are going to continue to exist until the transfer window ends.
People are already beginning to question how Barcelona have been able to make the signings that they have made thus far, the news since last season is that they are in a financial crisis, i haven't bothered to read the details about it, but it was the same financial mess that made them lose Messi, and they also struggled till they signed Xavi, who helped them finish on a high. But then it is shocking as to how much they have spent in this summer's transfer window, even coaches of other teams have questioned their ability to do this, i think Tuchel has, as well as Nagelsmann; prolly Barcelona aren't telling us everything or they might run into a whole lot of trouble from this, we'll have to wait and see.
2336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 24, 2022, 08:26:30 PM
Arsenal played really good football there is no doubt about that but is this sustainable. I mean it looked like they were playing like a team that would be fighting for the title, and let's be honest with each other , they haven't been a club that tried to get the league title for many years now, I do not know when was the last time they were there but it looks like they haven't been there for a long long time and I feel like it would be a difficult thing.
I am not going to lie, Arsenal look really strong, it doesn't matter if it was just pre-season games, but they moved the ball really well in all the games they played, they controlled possession, and most importantly they scored goals. The monopoly in the EPL is between Liverpool and City, and i don't think any team is prepared/ready/strong enough to break it just yet, but Arsenal might just take themselves above United, Spurs and Chelsea to become the third team amongst the big six, it is very possible, it can happen.

Having said that, some weeks back, i thought Chelsea was going to be the only team that would come close to City and Liverpool when the season starts, i know the transfer window isn't shut yet, but i am far from impressed with their transfer business thus far, they have acquired two brilliant players, but they aren't enough, Tuchel said the same thing i have been thinking in my head in his press conference after the Arsenal loss, they need to buy more players, they can stand City and Liverpool with their current squad, and there is Arsenal who have done so well in this summer window, they are buzzing and i am pretty sure Arteta can't wait for two weeks so the season kicks-off, they might just finish third, we also have to look out for them in the cup competitions, an FA cup and Carabao triumph wouldn't be bad for Arsenal.
2337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or Gold Investment? on: July 24, 2022, 06:53:30 PM
To me both look good, investing in gold first or BTC later, but I'm confused by the current market conditions especially in terms of ROI, who is the fastest to move on?
Both of them are good assets, and it isn't a bad idea to invest in two of them, since the two assets aren't intrinsically similar, you will be diversifying appropriately should you choose to invest in both gold and Bitcoin. Having said that, gold is more of a store of value than Bitcoin, it can hold its value for a pretty long time without significantly depreciating. Bitcoin is more volatile because it can have spontaneous plunges and pumps in the short term, but in terms of ROI, Bitcoin is better, especially in the long run, Bitcoin will accrue more returns for its investors than gold will.
2338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 24, 2022, 06:18:16 PM
Manchester United want Inter right back Denzel Dumfries now. They must be really aiming to sell one of their current right backs in this case. Wan-Bissaka and Dalot both had nearly the same amount of chances in the Premier League last season. Their values are nearly the same and it is the situation for their ages too. Maybe it can be a difficult choice for picking one of them. But if they reach an agreement with Dumfries they would make a decision faster.
I wouldn't struggle to pick between Wan-Bissaka and Dalot, i think they are both of the same quality, the two players do not possess any special qualities than what is ordinary/normal, if i am to sell one of them, i will just sell the one that will cost more, so more money can be earned in the process and used to fund the purchase of another quality right back for the team. Manchester United transfer business kinda sucks at the moment, they are linked with quite a lot of players, but they can't just seem to get deals across the line, the season starts in two weeks or so, with the business United have done thus far, they are in no way ready for the season, and it looks like it is just going to be like last season for them.
2339  Economy / Reputation / Re: I appeal the deletion of this message on: July 24, 2022, 09:50:04 AM
Your post was deleted because it was off-topic in that thread, the thread in question had nothing to do with FJ, thus i see no reason why you'd have them mentioned there, that topic was a discussion about if Bitcointalk accounts are worthy of being inherited or not/if a dead member's account suddenly becomes active, so you didn't manage to stay on the topic, neither were you constructive at all, but that is just by the way.

Having said that, i really can't understand what this 'appeal' thread is for (appeal threads are for banned users, and the board for such is in Meta), it was no more than a deleted post, that is something that has happened to every single one of us at one time or the other, for different reasons, some of which we didn't agree with, but it is what it is, we just let it go, and move on like it never happened.
