against liverpool, nottm forest looked very confident and not like a team that was in the relegation zone, that was evident from the match statistics, and the result (nottm forest's performance) was truly unexpected
The reason why Nottingham Forest had such a good game today is because Liverpool are no longer the sort of team they used to be, their confidence has been growing lately and they've managed to win a couple of games, but when you look at how easy it is for opposition players to open up Liverpool, that's when you know they have quite a lot of problems to solve in the summer.
In the next season, it looks like Liverpool will be more mature, I'm sure they will become a compact and tough team, and I'm curious about whether in the next transfer market, they will bring in new players!
I don't know how well Liverpool would do next season, i don't think they will do too well, but one thing is certain, and that's that they will spend money in the summer transfer window, they need midfielders and defenders, now the club must identify some of these players and open talks with their agent.
1322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 22, 2023, 09:59:35 PM
Manchester City are a complete team now especially thanks to Erling Haaland. He was the missing piece of the puzzle. He is really unstoppable now and I don't see any Real Madrid defender who can really stop him either. It is all up to Courtois' performance against him. But still I'm expecting Manchester City to reach the finale with the help of Haaland.
Imo Manchester City have always been a complete team, they have just been somewhat unlucky in the CL knockout stages even after scoring quite a lot of goals, last season against Real Madrid in the CL SF City scored five times, but defensive errors and lack of concentration cost them so much, and they ended up conceding 6 goals, thus they were eliminated. What i think is that City are now a more matured team in the CL, and that's all round, i mean in every department, not just because of Erling Haaland, the team now knows when to sit back and defend and when to go on all attack, and we saw that side of City against Bayern Munich in the QF 2nd leg. City are going to go through to the final, they are better prepared for Real Madrid and they are beginning to accrue the well needed experience to win games such as this.

How una see d matta? I get am correctly abi una get another point of view wey I fit reason am from?
The two things wey you dey compare dey different my brother, OPAY dey centralized, whilst Bitcoin dey decentralized.

Mind you say na lack of knowledge they make people talk something like this about OPAY, if you get issues via your commercial bank and you go bank go complain, abeg no be form you go fill, dem go come tell your how many working days dem go take resolve your issue, you go come go house.

OPAY don make things easy for people, yet dem no want am, if you get any issues with OPAY, you go just enter for your app go lay complaint, if e dey necessary customer support go give you form online make you fill, and dem go still tell you how many working days dem go take solve your issue. If you call dem for phone dem go still answer you and provide solution to your problems, so abeg tell me how e take dey different from commercial banks. Naija people seem to forget say OPAY dey registered under the CBN and they are a licensed company, so dem no fit loseguard your money. Bitcoin dey different from the two of them because on how you lose am ehn, e don be for you oh, hardly any remedy dey.
1324  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What could make an exchange to seize users assets on: April 22, 2023, 08:03:55 PM
The most reason why exchange seize user's asset is not being verify account, which is the most policy for many exchange, which everyone has to verify account as know your customer (KYC) before funding.
This should be one of the most sensible and expected reason out of the many as to why a centralized exchange can seize your funds, because ever before using a centralized exchange, you should know you can't use it without submitting KYC. There are many other flimsy, unexpected reasons as to why they can abuse their power and seize your funds, and these reasons occur more often imo.
What now makes them better than using a fiat system?
They are not better than the fiat system. Bitcoin is much better than the traditional fiat system, but centralized exchanges are completely antithetical to how Bitcoin functions, they are centralized just like the fiat system, but laden with far more risks and cons.

I was going to invest a small amount to test it. (there was many offer start from $20-$1000, + 50% in 10minutes)
but when seeing peoples profile who joined that group are all downloaded profile picture from different social media and stock images
and i left that group they create their scamming business by using much brain. any educated person also get convinced to invest small.
Mind you that you shouldn't try something like this out with a small amount of money to determine their legitimacy, because more often than not when you invest in this scam with a small amount of money they are going to pay you your ROI, they do this for you to build a stronger trust in their scam platform, and the moment you do that and invest with a larger sum of money, that's when they would do their exit scam with your money, thus don't try to test stuffs like this out, just exit whatever group it is, or if it was a personal message, block the sender ASAP.
1326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 20, 2023, 11:41:53 PM
I think Pep Guardiola has built Manchester City to an extent that any club that wants to play against them will try to defend and prepare very well to avoid receiving many goals from them whether home or away match.
Of course, City have always been a team that scores quite a lot of goals, even before Haaland came. Last season in the CL SF against Real Madrid, City scored 5 times, but it wasn't enough as they lost to Real Madrid's 6, thus coming up against City it's almost certain they are going to get goals, it is now a matter of if you can outscore them.

Having said that, if there's one team that can outscore City in the entire Europe then it would be Real Madrid, i am really looking forward to an entertaining SF tie between the two team, with a lot of goals as well, but i just feel this time around City would be able to get the job done, they need a little bit of luck to get over the line, and i think they'll get it.
1327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 19, 2023, 11:59:43 AM
Real madrid is the strongest candidate and the most consistent team in the Champions league, I think real madrid will again qualify for the final before we say they are the team that will win the champions league this season.
Real Madrid awaits tonights winner in the game between City and Bayern Munich, of course Pep's men are already 3-0 up, and have one foot and a half in the CL SF, i don't see a way back for Bayern Munich, thus it's going to be City v Real Madrid in the SF, and i don't think Real Madrid are going to eliminate them like they did last season. City made quite a lot of errors in that game with Real Madrid last season, they failed to score more goals in the first leg, and they failed to defend well in both legs, this season they have a goal machine in Erling Haaland, and their defense are at their best in this period, City are going to be in this season's CL final in Istanbul.
1328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 19, 2023, 07:17:01 AM
I would say that it is an excellent season for them.
Yeah, i would second that, of course it would be disappointing and painful for Napoli to be eliminated yesterday, but i don't think they can have too much to complain about, they were never going to win the CL this season, you would have to arrive in the later stages many, many times, before you stand a chance prolly play a final and try and win it. Napoli are definitely going to win their league title in an amazing way, thus to do that and get to the CL QF is a successful season for them, and they can aim for more next season.
1329  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Campaign to make our local board beta on: April 18, 2023, 10:52:48 PM
Have there been any bitcoin giveaway that you know of that led to temporary or permanent ban?
If you call am giveaway thread wey dey give out Bitcoin, then e suppose dey Games and Round, i no think say e dey allowed to run giveaway for any other section of the forum, but no be say e go lead to ban oh. Whilst Altcoin giveaways dey completely banned, and like you said, na wetin fit lead to temporary or permanent ban; person no fit pay people to post rubbish or anything wey no too make sense for their thread, but none of these is what SatoPrincess is doing.

Having said that, SatoPrincess you dey consider only posts wey the user make for local board, or you dey consider all the boards wey dey for forum? Mind you also say to select the best go always dey somewhat subjective, so e good to add for rules say na you or whoever go choose who be the best na im get the final say on that, and e no dey up for any debate/discussion/arguments.
1330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 18, 2023, 10:18:29 PM
That's the fourth game for interim manager Frank Lampard, and that's his fourth straight loss, scoring only one (deflected) goal in the process, that's horrendous and even embarrassing from Chelsea's point of view. Todd Boehly is clueless about football, and i am pretty sure he'd be asking himself what he has gotten into. I know the signing of Frankie gives them ample time to hire the right manager for the job, but Frankie just recently had a terrible period with Everton before he was sacked, it is obvious he does not have what it takes to be a topflight manager, and Chelsea is going from bad to worse with him in the dugout. More confusion for Todd, does he sack Lampard now and hire a proper manager, or does he allow him see out the season, irrespective of what the results would be from now until the end.

Having said that, Real Madrid are through to the SF, and they await the winner between City and Bayern Munich, imo City are going to go through, they already have a strong 3-0 lead, and i even think they are going to win the second leg tomorrow, thus we'd watch a repeat of last season's SF, and City would surely have revenge on their minds.
1331  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What kind of Wallets are used by an Exchange? on: April 18, 2023, 03:39:39 PM
While the exchange use cold storage to save those huge funds so as to keep it off from hack
I don't think an exchange prioritizes the security of the funds they receive from their customers, cold wallets is for long term hodling and to make sure funds are safe, that is not the priority of centralized exchanges, what they prioritize is profit, so rather than send your funds into cold wallets, i think they are going to either loan it out, invest with it, use it to fund other businesses, et cetera, just for ROI, what's remaining would obviously be kept in hot wallets to handle daily trades of their customers quickly. If these exchanges are so keen to use cold wallets why do they lose so much money when they are hacked.
1332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu turns into privacy coin like Monero or ZCash? on: April 18, 2023, 01:05:21 PM
from here we can see which meme coins are good and which meme coins are not, shiba inu is one of the meme coins which in my opinion is quite good and consistent in the process of developing, and shiba inu has great potential in the future, if shiba inu can continue to adapt to keep up with current development
Personally i'd not invest in any meme coin or consider any of them to be good investments, it is obvious they lack any actual utility, and are only good for traders who want to speculate and make some quick profits, meme coins also fall into the category of pump and dump coins, they usually appreciate in price when there is quite a lot of hype for it, but without that hype and with obviously no actual utility, it is definitely going to dump. I don't consider meme coins to be long term projects with a long future, thus be careful how you invest in them, and always be ready to pull out before a dump.
1333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 18, 2023, 12:37:38 PM
Frank Lampard might be a good player for Chelsea in the past, but I do not think he is ready to lead Chelsea as a manager yet. Chelsea have kept on losing games recently despite Frank Lampard putting in his best effort to try and improve the team result, I guess Real Madrid might be too strong for Chelsea to overcome and we might see Chelsea losing another game today.
Chelsea definitely stands zero chance against Real Madrid tonight, they lost the first leg game 2-0, i expect them to lose tonight as well, even though they are playing at home. Lampard was pretty terrible as Everton manager, and he has carried that horrendous form into Chelsea as their caretaker manager, losing all games since he's been in charge; i feel sorry for Frankie, this is a pretty bad time for anybody to be manager of Chelsea. The team is so disorganized that during the routine CL press conference yesterday, Kepa and Lampard confirmed that the owner of the club Todd Boehly speaks to the players almost after every game to try and motivate them, that's terrible imo, i can't imagine it happening in other clubs, clearly Todd knows nothing about football.
1334  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many people are having bitcoin? on: April 17, 2023, 11:05:38 PM
But is the man uninformed about Bitcoin? or he is unaware of the Bitcoin on the hard drive?

If he actually buys the Bitcoin, I believe he should be able to tell that it is still there, and he should be checking the Bitcoin Market since he has invested in Bitcoin.
I don't think you're familiar with the story of James Howells, well it isn't a recent story, it dates back to 2013, and Howells prolly mined those coins and it wasn't worth too much in 2013, maybe that's why he was careless with it and mistakenly put the hard drive containing his keys to 7,500 Bitcoin's in the garbage, which eventually was disposed in a landfill. James Howells hasn't given up hope on finding his lost hard drive and by extension his lost Bitcoin (if the hard drive is still in good working condition), but his local authorities have refused him digging up the landfill for various reasons. You can surf the internet for this story, it's an interesting one.
1335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 17, 2023, 03:45:35 PM
Rumors spread that Vincent Kompany is on the list wanted by Chelsea to be the next manager at this club besides names that have already been linked with Chelsea such as the former Bayern Munich coach and former Tottenham Hotspurs coach Pochettino. It seems that Boehly was impressed with Kompany after what he did for Burnley who will return to playing in the English Premier League next season, but it is possible that Kompany will not be interested in Chelsea because even though Chelsea already have a lot of good player material, uniting them into a strong team will be more difficult.
https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/22061762/chelsea-vincent-kompany-burnley-new-manager/
Chelsea's situation is now pretty comical, lol, they are linked with how many managers, 3, 4, i have even lost count, the team has no direction right now, they are playing like they have no manager. Lampard had a horrendous record at Everton and to imagine that Boehly thought him to be the perfect caretaker manager to handle Chelsea until the end of the season shows how clueless an owner he is, i already knew he was clueless about football when he took over, but his decisions since then has proven it beyond all reasonable doubt.

Having said that, Kompany is definitely going nowhere, he would remain in Burnley for at least another season or two, they are back to the EPL and he is going to be their manager next season, we'd see how good he does as a manager in the EPL, he has conquered the Championship, so the expectation on him is pretty high, if he does well for a season or two then maybe bigger clubs would come for him.
1336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 17, 2023, 03:35:20 PM
Kane is their biggest power among all their players so they should do their best to use him effectively in this one.
Spurs' problems isn't a matter of utilizing Kane or not, they have quite a lot of quality players, the problem is the overall team, we heard Antonio Conte's scathing remarks about the team which led to him being fired, even though i don't think he should have poured all that out in public, and even though i think Spurs' problem back then was partly his fault, he was still spot on correct, the team play like losers, there is no hunger and desire to go for biggers things, they are just content with 4th position every season. I do hope they don't get it this time around, my support is for Newcastle, i want to see them in the CL next season.
1337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 17, 2023, 11:14:45 AM
A 2-0 away win at Nottingham Forrest gave Manchester United 3 points.
Yeah, the 3 points also took them back to 3rd position on the EPL table after Newcastle lost 3-0 to Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur lost 3-2 to Bournemouth, Manchester United were never going to let the opportunity pass, and even though they were missing a couple of their players, they still got the 3 points to strengthen their grip on the top four. Manchester United are now 3 points above Newcastle, and six above Spurs that have played one game more than them. I think Manchester United are going to finish 3rd, thus 4th position would be a competition between Newcastle and Spurs.
1338  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many people are having bitcoin? on: April 17, 2023, 10:29:55 AM
How can the value be distributed? Will this happen when they are high in demand of bitcoin that is the buyer are more than the total supply. Please put me through.
Straight from the horse's mouth:
Lost coins only make everyone else's coins worth slightly more.  Think of it as a donation to everyone.
Lost Bitcoin basically reduces the coins that are and would be in circulation (when all has been mined), and if there are fewer Bitcoins in circulation, it somewhat increases the value of the Bitcoins that are in circulation, it is all basic supply and demand.
1339  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many people are having bitcoin? on: April 17, 2023, 10:08:22 AM
Now my question is that does it mean all this 7,500 bitcoin are gone completely?
Yeah they are gone, even though James Howells hasn't given up and is still trying to search for his lost hard drive, but i don't know how fruitful his search for it is going to be, considering the fact he lost it a long time ago (in 2013). Your questions shows you don't quite understand how Bitcoin works, so mind you that this scenario isn't peculiar to only James Howells, the only way to spend Bitcoins is if you have the key, anybody who loses their key, has lost their Bitcoin.
Can it be possible to know the people the are in position of all the bitcoin in circulation
No you cannot know that, blockchain analysis companies help the government to link addresses to identities, but it is not possible to know who owns all the Bitcoins in circulation, some coins have never moved from the address they are in, some addresses have no connection with centralized exchanges, etc.
1340  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A few random questions on: April 16, 2023, 08:32:54 PM
I thought that all exchanges were decentralized.
Nope, there are centralized as well as decentralized exchanges.
I just googled "decentralized crypto exchanges" and this is what first came up https://bisq.network/
If you want to trade via P2P then Bisq is your best option, they are truly decentralized with no KYC requirement whatsoever.
On one hand I do not like that Binance cooperates with the government. On the other hand it is commonly used and I feel more comfortable exchanging with them.
It is your decision, if you don't worry about privacy and you want speed over privacy and security, then carry out your trade there, but don't leave funds there, send them to your non custodial wallet afterwards.
My bank will know that I'm in crypto when I transfer half of my savings account. Surely when it is transfered to Binance, but likely also when it goes to something like bisq. It's just the large amount of money being transfered that gives it away
Half of the funds in your savings account is a whole lot of money, hope it is an amount you can afford to lose. BTW on Binance you register with KYC and once you send funds into their platform every transaction you make there can be linked to your identity. It is not so in Bisq because there is no KYC requirement and your funds go directly to the seller. If you want to buy Bitcoin there, you take up an existing order or you create yours, the seller's Bitcoin and your security deposit will be locked in a 2 of 2 multisignature wallet, once you send the payment to the seller's account, the both of you signs with each of your keys and the funds is released into your wallet, which you can then move to any of your address you wish, this way i don't think it's possible for anyone to know what you bought with half of your savings.
