2321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH Hit $6K this week? on: June 24, 2021, 09:53:37 AM
I think people who have been in the crypto space for a while by now should know that if your coin can hold from 50% of ATH (which is about where ETH is now) then it is actually a good sign already. I think sellers hurt the market now but this is only short term,,, and unfortunately people are not willing to wait the time out. Or maybe it is fortunate,,, for us:)

The correction would always hurt the market if we have unrealistic expectations. It's hard to expect that the price will just continue to move uptrend because it's not the normal of crypto, the norm is it's very volatile, which means we will see a pump and dump scenario anytime. Investors will not worry if they do understand how the market behaves, they'll always find an opportunity, whether to buy or sell.

Unrealistic expectations literally defines crypto people unfortunately:) We have the extremes on both ends. Those who say Bitcoin will die and go to zero,,, others who say it will replace fiat entirely (both I personally think are wrong).

And can you blame them? It was never "realistic" for a currency to go from zero to $60k in 11 years!
2322  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This sh*t ain't for the faint of heart! 😭 on: June 24, 2021, 09:01:36 AM
Once I started committing to dollar-cost averaging, it took me a while but now it is almost like paying bills or getting salary. It happens around the same time. I am tempted still to buy more or even sometimes alts, but if you hold out long enough then you see the gains of DCA and can truly appreciate the strategy.
I DCAed during the last bear market, there is unfortunately anything but fun when you see week after week that the capital invested is less and less Cheesy
Phases like now between September 2020 and May 2021 are indeed fun as hell when you realize that you have not only massively pushed down the average price of your coins  through DCA but then can finally reap the fruits of years of saving.

I did enjoy seeing big Bitcoin buys when receiving my payments (as I asked to get it in BTC) and yes, slowly since 2018 it started getting smaller and smaller (except the crash in 2020 when it temporarily became quite big again for a while). But that is the beauty of DCA even though it gets smaller, you know price is increasing so all previous buys become more valuable:) So fun right?SmileySmiley
2323  Other / Archival / Re: Where is the bottom and what's next? on: June 24, 2021, 07:57:19 AM
Or it'll go to $20K, people will buy, it'll trade sideways for a few days or weeks and then all of a sudden dump and break $20K. Then people will panic it'll go to like $18K and that will be the bottom. Or maybe the bottom will be $16K which is around the 200 WMA which has been a very good bottom signal the last 3-4 times it touched.

I feel that if 20k happens again it will cause something really big to happen,,, First because Bitcoin has never gone back to visit the old ATH after breaking past it (correct?) and secondly because it will make people think of 10k again. So either dominos tumble and Bitcoin again in danger OR people rebound it to an extreme rally that takes us higher than we imagined:)
2324  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BYBIT LOCKED 12 BTCS OF MINE, WHAT DO I DO? on: June 24, 2021, 07:22:04 AM
As Lucius explains,,, this is just because of the amount you triggered. So testing it is not really going to help there but asking their support in advance is helpful. KYC actually does not apply in most jurisdictions until a certain amount is hit,,, which is what I found out at my services mainly because I never trigger KYC and I actually asked support why:)

The good news is laws require if you cannot KYC then they must return funds to you. So you are always safe whatever the case.

Oh wow this is sad,,, the newsweek report does say that the extradition was approved earlier in the same day though. I do not understand why he was not put under suicide watch knowing this decision was something he would not have liked at all.

I never liked the guy but this is still sad news,,, anyone who has to do this fearing his own country of citizenship does not deserve this.

RIP.
2326  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io- Club House- The best EURO 2021 promotions around!!🚀 on: June 24, 2021, 05:52:42 AM
I tried betting with insurence and pressed the button and it wont work for me even tho i had 5 matches with minimum 1.50 if there are other rules for this please state it in there. I asked customer service to give a free bet with any amount just to give it. They said they dont do it anymore. Before when i asked they gaved it when i lost by a set or something a huge parlay. They told me only way is to get rewards is from clubhouse and that is terrible rewards are really bad honestly.

I bet with your sportsbook since day 1 and im still betting on it i like the concept and everything but the clubhouse is really bad. Honest opinion. The site is great for betting just this clubhouse dosent make much sence,or maybe im not betting really big.

For insurance,,, it is 1 insurance every 24 hours not every day. So if you used insurance today at 5pm then it is available tomorrow at 5pm + 1 second;)

You can check if it is refreshed just by hovering the mouse over the "?" logo next to insurance box, it will show if you have 0 or 1 insurance remaining. I got this problem before also but it has been explained in the past

I love Sportsbet even without Clubhouse so I do not know what else you want from it:) Freebets? We already get a lot, where else you can get the amount of freebets Sportsbet gives?Smiley
2327  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinmarketcap login on: June 24, 2021, 05:15:26 AM
Coinmarketcap logged in also,,, so no problems for me either yesterday or today.

Curious about OP, are you also logged in to use the Learn and Earn program like me? I never sign up until today for any of the market data or blockchain explorer accounts I use:) Except CMC because of their Earn program.
2328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is selling? on: June 23, 2021, 05:27:10 PM
Looking at the market fluctuations, it clearly shows that this is panic selling and nothing else. There are too many investors and newbie investors who have bought when the price was high and I don't think they are able to withhold the pressure and selling their holdings wherever possible. We are also seeing that the diamond hands like Michel Saylor, etc are buying this dip heavily, I mean buying 13k Bitcoins is not a small thing.

I do not think so though. It clearly showed to me that stop losses were triggered but also then that buyins all took their time today as we saw from 15% market rise in just a few hours.

Panic selling creates domino effect which should have seen Bitcoin drop even further down but it did not happen. Instead optimism and rebound happened.
2329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 23, 2021, 03:14:55 PM
Come on this is not entirely true. There have been games in Federer's prime where he destroyed Nadal and Djokovic. It is not like the two came up and Federer's time was over. Absolutely not. Go watch some youtube highlights where Federer beats them up so hard, but I agree with you that it became harder for him when both Nadal and Djokovic matured.

I guess Djokovic is the best player of all times and I can acknowledge that just from the perspective of someone who likes the sport. Federer was great to watch though. What I love the most about Djokovic is his defense. We are probably not going to see that ever again.

Yeah,,, we have to say Fedex also conquered them when he did meet them. Maybe not in as entertaining a style as Nadal fast and furious or Djokovic random strength and random weakness.

The Old Lion always wins at first until his body betrays him.

Of all time, I still cannot really say. I like entertainment and am biased towards that but Djoko also has some character flaws that bother me.
2330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which crypto and platform do you invest in in June??? on: June 23, 2021, 01:50:41 PM
I am not even sure that what we are seeing now is even a bear market, to me it is just an important correction, something similar happened during 2017 and we know what happened at the end of the year, I think that we are seeing a similar pattern which means that the only thing people need to do in order to obtain decent profits is to keep holding their coins, and if they have some fiat available then they can use it to buy more coins for a cheap price and enjoy the benefits at the end of the year.

I actually do not think it is bear either. Yes we came down 50% from ATH but the support has been really strong since then and even yesterday is looking like a blip already. Sentiment is just shaken from the China news but everything will pick up and when people look around at alternatives,,, crypto is still the best of the options.

Defi, as much as I dislike it,,, will also probably pick up and gain strength for a bit more during the real rally.
2331  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Excessive stimulus and devaluation of dollar gave bitcoin and gold their appeal on: June 23, 2021, 01:04:17 PM
Robert Kiyosaki has been bullish and has been advocating bitcoin a long time ago. He's one of the financial advisers that has been bringing up bitcoin to his topics and made it known to his audience that everyone must buy bitcoin.
I admire his strategy on how he managed to be wealthy with the several income streams that the typical wealthy people do. The price that he has mentioned whenever he's going to buy again is still good but others will look at it as something very low and discouraging.

A long time ago? No I do not think so. Kiyosaki was a little earlier than Elon Musk Tweeting storm maybe but he was a traditional investor long ago and only entered Bitcoin in 2020 publicly.

He is not an expert more than Elon or more than McAfee. Just another traditional investor who believed in Bitcoin. I do not think he is such a great financial guy anyway.
2332  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is bitcoin plunging? What is the reason for this? on: June 23, 2021, 11:20:00 AM
From Elon Musk playing with Bitcoin and dogecoin and China banning the mining and also the use of crypto.
those are enough reason to make the market shaken like now and the bitcoin is almost going in lowest .

And that is actually an important point to make,,, enough to shake the market, but not enough to even bring it close to toppling. Bitcoin going in lowest, you say? You do realize it's over 50% more than the 2017 ATH and 10x more than MArch 2020 prices right?

Not even to talk about other alts like ETH that are 20x where they were in 2020 prices!
2333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 23, 2021, 09:59:13 AM
Yeah, but the Covid crisis did not reflect the price on Kane, Mbappe, Haaland... Some players get offers with new contract Pogba for example and high salary.
maybe I'm not credible because I'm thinking that is Sterling one of the most overpriced player. <50mill is probably a more realistic price for them.

True enough,,, for Kane and Mbappe but they have both continued to perform at their peak if not even better, especially now at internationals also showing their worth (Kane not so much but his leadership at the offence shows). I do think Haaland's price went down a bit though?

Pogba new contract and salary I did not know about that I thought he was the first to be offloaded:)
2334  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Manipulation Logic? on: June 23, 2021, 09:27:35 AM
Group of whales, traders and small investors, all of this affects the market of Bitcoin. That is not easy to predict because all of them have their own calendar time to when they will dump it.
When a small price drop happens, a panic could make it worse. When there's panic, a sudden domino effect could bring it down.
What Elon Musk did was a good example. He made a big ruckus about dumping all his Bitcoin but this doesn't mean it is just him who will do the same thing.
Different kind of investors and traders could sway at the same direction to take a small profit but there will be no record of when or how.

They were saying I remember at the end of last year that retail was dead and could not move the markets anymore thanks to institutions but they probably forgot about the power of the collective. Elon brought in for example so many new crypto buyers and so did Gamestop,,, those tsunami of retail already reminded the market they can still move prices drastically!
2335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make your HODL or dump decisions? on: June 23, 2021, 09:02:20 AM
Whales are pulling their investment to take profit and it really affect the value but dont base the worth of the project to its price. As long as it has use case plus a community supporting it then the time will come that it will soar high when bullish market return.

Thus better wait for a right timing to take profit since you cant turn back time to change your decision. The reason why its risky to put your money in 1 basket especially if it is not an established project.

Whales do not really pull to take profit for such small amounts I would think,,, so this is all speculators for the short term responsible for dumping. Real whales invest very early and have nowadays a long period of vesting/lock times. They may dump if the project does not show signs of being successful but if it continues to build then they usually stick around.
2336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH Hit $6K this week? on: June 23, 2021, 07:51:45 AM
Yes.

The price is still up and good from the past ATH that it had in 2018. Although its huge difference from this recent ATH makes people think that the current price is low.

Well, that's how mostly deal with it.

2337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is China a fool? on: June 23, 2021, 07:20:11 AM
If there is one thing we know about China,,, it is that it is not a fool. They have been content being a silent superpower for such a long time. Choosing not to go to war but to dominate the world through economy. Which they still have not fully unleashed by the way. In other parts of Asia and Africa and even South America they have dug their nails in.

This is all digital yuan coming,,, they know what they are doing.
2338  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io- Club House- The best EURO 2021 promotions around!!🚀 on: June 23, 2021, 05:57:09 AM
Even me I did not take the yellow card one,,, Almost no way a team can go three games without yellow cards, even if you play nicely you might still get accidents, or just yellow for rash decisions. Or bad officiating. It happens:) I really do not know why I did not take it!

But on the other hand I totally agree about all of the specials being great value for betting:) Hope Portugal win tonight, they are my Outright:P
2339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This sh*t ain't for the faint of heart! 😭 on: June 23, 2021, 05:26:46 AM
There's a reason why the dollar-cost averaging[1]  strategy is one of the most recommended buying strategies not only for bitcoin, but for investing in general. So people would buy just buy consistently despite what the market sentiment is.

and to prevent people from emotional and impulsive buying, like what you're most probably feeling right now. Tongue

[1] https://dcabtc.com/

As a person formerly an emotional and impulsive buyer that took a few ICOs and regretted because I used BTC to get into them,,, I can attest to this 100%.

Once I started committing to dollar-cost averaging, it took me a while but now it is almost like paying bills or getting salary. It happens around the same time. I am tempted still to buy more or even sometimes alts, but if you hold out long enough then you see the gains of DCA and can truly appreciate the strategy.

While having a real life outside of trading:)
2340  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anything particular causing these declines? on: June 23, 2021, 05:09:41 AM
I believed all these measures embarked by the Chinese biggest bank is geared towards the taking off the much purported digital currency and it trials, all the bans, clampdowns on miners, exchanges etc are taken to discourage the use of cryptocurrencies and the government is trying to enforce the use and adoption of their digital currency, link: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cnbc.com/amp/2021/06/02/china-digital-currency-beijing-to-hand-out-6point2-million-in-trial.html  however whatever FUD that comes out from China Bitcoin will still survive although the culminated effect often have an instant impact on the price of Bitcoin negatively however their nothing the government can do to put a permanent stop on it usage because it decentralized feature

I think so too,,, but we could be wrong because digital yuan already started trialing even in 2020 already and tests before that in 2019. I think the main reason is not to get rid of competition with digital yuan since that is still needed in the economy, but perhaps more to do with energy use in the country. I know China always says it has surplus energy especially with new dams but perhaps they feel they do not want to feed the miners with cheap power anymore? And I bet you it has something to do with miners not properly reporting.
