2321  Economy / Speculation / Re: When bitcoin will come out on the market before the launch to the moon on: May 18, 2019, 04:26:13 PM

There is now an overall consensus among many analysts and industry leaders that bitcoin will continue on its bull run into the $10,000 level and from there it can be easy to go ahead and break the $20,000 barrier established in 2017. Of course, analysts can go wrong and let's just hope that what they are saying positively on bitcoin can rub the bull so it will be energized for its run. The correction right now is just normal and this is a great opportunity for many to come in and be a part of the bitcoin bandwagon 2019. Soon a great wave of FOMO can hit bitcoin and that is when the bull run will surge.
2322  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are bitcoin whales complete morons? on: May 18, 2019, 04:13:47 PM
it is very difficult to understand how the brain of certain people work, maybe that person had bought when the price was $ 3100 and realized that he had already made a lot of profit and decided to sell. That's why we need to have a big market that is very strong, so things like these will do not happen

His action bought the bitcoin into its correction right now. Now, since he sold his bitcoin at around $8,000 he can gain good profit if afterwards he bought the same bitcoin at $7,000. This is just actually a strategy in trading and I am sure that guy is right now smiling because he made a good amount of money in such a short period of time. And with that kind of move, let's not label him (assuming he is a guy) really as a moron though what he did affected us all in one way or another in the cryptocurrency industry.
2323  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will go a bit down, ALTS a lot down, then BTC again a lot up on: May 18, 2019, 04:00:14 PM
Of course we would be a little think that a bull run probably happen, but what happens now certainly makes our hopes fade, the increase price is not more dominant, the price increase does not last for a long time, it means bullrun has not happened yet.
You mean to say that a bull run doesnt happen yet but what only happen is a bull trap  ?  You maybe right because the price drops fast but this does not cause for our hopes to fade because we already see that bitcoin can still do amazing things  .

correction still often occurs like happened today. OP was right, the price will drop by a few percent, so does the altcoin, and it will probably rise again afterwards.
The good thing is we got chance to re-buy
Yeah that is the advantage of having a correction  . We still have another chance to buy back and prepare for another possible bull run ( real bull run i mean )   . Btc increase lately but i dont see that alts follow . Alts are still down so its not shocking at all

Some of the well-known alts are already green today though they gained not much. What is clear here is that alts are all depending on the movement of bitcoin if it is up they go with it and when down so are they. Bitcoin is resting in the vicinity of $7,300 as if relaxing and thinking hard whether to continue fighting the $9,000 mountain range or be a loser by getting back to its bearish cave. Where the bitcoin beast is going whether to be a bull or a bear remains to be seen but of course the overall market sentiment is favoring the bull.
2324  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will spending Bitcoin actually be bad for the price? on: May 18, 2019, 03:48:35 PM

I have been asking myself this same question: Is spending bitcoin helping it or is holding it making it grow? We have to remember that bitcoin is both a currency and a store of value...and both must be promoted and utilized leading to the dreamed massive adoption by the people. The problem is that because many are thinking that bitcoin will be moving in value they choose to hold rather than spend. Unlike the fiat money which is not very volatile there is no incentive to hold more than what you need...the same thing is quite opposite with bitcoin. So what we should achieve is finding the middle ground. We should be encouraging people to use some of their bitcoin and then use some to hold though admittedly as shown in the market today this can be difficult to achieve.
2325  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: What can I do to make it more transparent? on: May 18, 2019, 03:31:59 PM
What can I do so the contract is not charged fraud, pyramid, scan?
because many people do not even understand some projects and they already defame them, as it does with BitCoin.

Thank you!!!
Simple, prove to people the sources of that profits you are promising to offer. People don't understand them because no one is explaining them what they are and how they work, so they just throw in their money into everything and then when it fails they call it a scam. You have to cooperate with your investors, by finding a way to prove them you and your business can be trusted.

This is all about trust. No matter how transparent is the system and the people behind the system if people do not trust it all then this can just be another missed opportunity. Start with a few people and build with them. These people can be your inner circle of investors and from there expand. It is always good to start small, grow and then fly than starting with many and then experiencing some withering later. Anyway, good luck with this project. Remember to be careful not to allow yourself to be one of the so many scammers we have in this industry.
2326  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: easy bite for scammers on: May 18, 2019, 03:26:34 PM
so far Crypto market  has been very profitable source of income for scammers without been caught for example,in 2015 and 2016 we saw many ravenue share sites such as(TAT) The Ads Team,My 24 hour income and(MPA) and (MPCA) My Paying Ads  appeared and their owners scammed   million of dollars and they disappeared  without being arrested and in 2017 and 2018 new fake ico"s came again they made people fool .at least there should be a law to return the people money . it is not impossible to arrest these criminals ,all these scammers have social media profile they can be punished easily.

I used to be a victim of many revenue sharing programs in 2017 that used bitcoin as their mode of payments. Revshares could never be sustainable that is why those programs eventually died leaving members with empty bags and the owners with millions of money. Sadly I saw no one got sued and eventually brought into the justice system. Then we got into many scam ICOs whose perpetrators were there just for the money and nothing else. We now have to accept that scams are now part of doing business online. These scammers are using fake identities in order to evade the law and fool as many people as possible. Scams and frauds are now part of the cryptocurrency industry and soon this will even boom as more and more people can be enticed to enter this industry.
2327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facts about this "industry" on: May 18, 2019, 03:12:10 PM

These and more are the things you get when we have an unregulated market. We hate the Wall Street because it is a corrupt though regulated platform and yet in our marketplace the same corruption is given the chance to breed and even took a new face and is now running wild and free. Why is this so? Answer: human nature. When we let humans without that sense of responsibility and not afraid that they are breaking any law...what we got is precisely the dark side of this industry. Sometimes we could not blame famous people of other industries criticizing us...they are seeing the many undesirable happening within this industry and yet for now we could not do anything about it. To be fair, corruption is happening in all industries including the many religions we have. What should we do to at least lessen these problems?
2328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WPP Energy tokens? on: May 18, 2019, 03:00:43 PM
I earned some WPP tokens in bounty campaign, there was a hype around it in ICO phase but now I didn't hear any big news about the product development. Do you have some good news?
I heard about this project before and yes there’s no current development with WPP Token and its price is still dumped. Energy tokens have a good intention in the market but its a utility token which usually fails to make big impact in the market. If there’s so much interest with this kind of project, for sure WPP token will go pump again.

In my view, many projects into energy which are integrating the blockchain and cryptocurrency into their platforms got a very hard time performing the things they set in the roadmap. Maybe these projects became so intertwined with their idealism that they lost touch of the market realities. I am still wishing that WPP will succeed because this was one of the few projects I helped and believed back in 2017 when ICOs were the thing. Anyway, I am sure that eventually people can see the value of this project and help to make it a very successful enterprise in the electric or power market.
2329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you suggest participate in airdrop? why? on: May 18, 2019, 02:48:05 PM

Nowadays many ICOs offer free coins, but we have two problems with this free coins, the first one the value of this coins will drop after start trading due to a lot have free coins willing to sell it, and the second they ask for your ID (KYC), and i think it is very risky to send your IDs to any one.

Airdrop can be good if the project is good and will last and perform in accordance with their roadmaps. Unfortunately, there are many airdrops done for the purpose of enticing investors to shell out money...in other words this is just part of their marketing strategy and once they have enough funds they will just evaporate into thin air. Now you see them then you don't. And yes, many of them are requiring the tedious KYC just for some minute amount of tokens...those are shameless bastards. However, there are actually very few projects conducting airdrops for the purpose of community building and of course promotion but they are getting seldom.
2330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is eBay looking to accept cryptocurreny on its platform? on: May 18, 2019, 02:27:52 PM
After a second look, it's an obvious fake.

Here's eBay's real logo:

And here's the logo from the ads:

These cryptocurrency conferences are mostly just attention grabs and marketing gimmicks, so it doesn't surprise me that people engage in this sort of manipulation.

This is really interesting. I hope that an official statement coming from eBay will be published soon to confirm or to dispel this rumor. Anyway, if this is just a rumor we can not expect people from eBay to have the time to react to this. So the bottomline here is we just have to wait for anything official. Now, if this is just another fake marketing tactic then it got the attention that it wanted in the first place so congratulations to these marketers.

2332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tron Founder Justin Sun Wants to ‘Rescue’ DApp Developers from Ethereum & EOS on: May 18, 2019, 11:46:31 AM
THis guy justin sun is always want to seek public attention in various ways, for example when binance is hacked he tries to comment on it with a deposit of 7000 BTC while at that time the deposit and withdrawal cannot be done

Justin Sun is emerging as a media-savvy and attention-getting cryptocurrency personality. He seems to know what he is doing, he is professional enough in using to his advantage the social media and he is getting the eyes of the mainstream media. He is doing all of this to promote TRON. I am sensing that there can be a good rivalry between Justin and Vitalik...and that can be an exciting to watch. Bitcoin has no figure head unlike TRON and Eth. I am getting excited to watch the two young men do everything they can to promote the long-term viability of their respective platforms. Who will win the bigger share of users remains to be seen.
2333  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Is it effective to advertise crypto projects via bloggers? on: May 18, 2019, 11:27:54 AM
Reputable bloggers with millions of subscribers do not often take up a developing project.
And for developing crypto projects, reputation is very important. So contact bloggers who advertise everything its bad idea. Undecided
Do you know crypto bloggers who value their reputation and advertise developing projects?

Have you searched for a network of crypto bloggers somewhere? If you can find a platform where they are members with then you can easily contact them. There are many good bloggers and vloggers online and in my estimate they are so willing to work with a project depending on its veracity and the budget allocated for them. I am also suggesting social media influencers as they can help a lot with any project with a fast turnover. Are you planning to pay them with cash or rather use tokens as rewards?
2334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China to digitalize Renminbi through blockchain on: May 18, 2019, 11:02:34 AM
Peoples bank of China is supposedly trailing a crypto form of Chinese Renminbi as a digital currency.
The nodes of which would be controlled by the The People's bank of China and major Chinese bank where transactions would be visible to the authorities but not to the general public.

https://www.coindesk.com/digital-renminbi-a-fiat-coin-to-make-m0-great-again

Could we call it a cryptocurrency?

Yes, it can still be called as cryptocurrency but since it is fully controlled by the Chinese government and not decentralized then it would better to just call it as digital renminbi or eRenminbi. Since the Chinese government has no love for bitcoin the original cryptocurrency and the pioneer of this technology but is actually harboring the idea of making its own, I am sure that soon this can be declared to be the one and only recognized cryptocurrency in the whole China and the government will surely promote its use and acceptance globally. Still, this can be in line with the desire of the government to soon get away from the use of the US Dollar for international commerce transactions and the establishment of the greater Silk Road project.
2335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency calendar 2019 on: May 18, 2019, 10:43:42 AM
I'm looking for ETH events this year. I think i heard there will be big event for ethereum end of this month, hope it will pump the price and make a new stable price level

Likewise, I am looking forward to new developments in the Ethereum network. Seems to me that Justin Sun is more active these days to his counterpart Vitalik Buterin. I do admire both of these young guys and their contribution to the world of cryptocurrency. In a market that can be driven by good news happening in one's platform, anything good and new with Ethereum can help the coin a lot.
2336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will Boom ! on: May 18, 2019, 10:30:16 AM
According to announcement of chain link, the decentralized oracle provider will launch on the Ethereum mainnet on May 30th.

And other side market cap is also $25.80 billion, which good thing.
So I think price will go up for surely.

Guy's,  what do you think about this ?

Chain link will have some positive impact over the ethereum price, but I don't believe it will be enough for the price to "boom". The thereum market cap amount by itself isn't a good thing or a bad thing. It is just what it is and nothing more. I don't get how chain link works. It says "monetize your data feeds and existing API by selling them directly to smart contracts".What does that mean?

Just one single good news for the Ethereum network may not be enough to push the price of Eth to the stratosphere. What is clear is that with the recent bull run (or should we say the ongoing bull run?) the price of Eth is going up alongside with the Bitcoin that is when Bitcoin made a correction (this is still ongoing for sure) Bitcoin also shed some dollars in price. So maybe, if Bitcoin can reach $20,000 then there is the probability that Eth can be at around $1,500 as my guess. However, having more users on the platform that can certainly help a lot in the long-term.

2337  Economy / Gambling / Re: e͏t͏h͏e͏r͏c͏r͏a͏s͏h.ισ | 0.75% average house edge | ETH & BTC Accepted 🏅 on: May 18, 2019, 10:13:03 AM
Congratulations to Guacho for winning over 129.6 ETH in one bet!

He waited for 44x with 3 eth!?!

He is too rich or he has nerve of steel. I can't wait that long even with 0.01 eth Cheesy
You don't deserve a huge win if you don't want to take the risk, if you really wanted to win a huge amount sometimes you need to go crazy but without losing control.

This is gambling so risking some money is a strategy to win big. In gambling, it is easy to get crazy, to get addictive, to bet everything and losing control can take some discipline which can be hard for people who use more of their emotion than logic. Anyway, congrats to the winner. Gambling and cryptocurrency really go hand in hand as if two industries intertwined.
2338  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-17] Facebook Coin Could Drive a ‘Mass-Adoption’ of Crypto, Study Conclu on: May 18, 2019, 08:55:31 AM

Stablecoins minted by large companies such as Facebook could significantly disrupt the payment and crypto industry worldwide, the study concludes.

These stablecoins are raising the eyebrows of many who are thinking that what they are offering is not according to the definition of cryptocurrency which should be decentralized or not under the control of anyone or a group. of course, there are those who believe that big companies entering the industry can be unstoppable especially since they have the resources and the marketing prowess to promote the platform they can create. It remains to be seen if the coming of big and well-oiled names into cryptocurrency can be good for the industry in the long-term or will it hurt it in the long run. Let's just hope it is the former. As to Facebook, am sure they gonna use its behemoth network to make sure that its foray into cryptocurrency can be grand and successful. So in advanced, let's give Mark and his team a big congratulation!
2339  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-17] Facebook Registers Secretive ‘Libra’ Cryptocurrency Firm in SWI on: May 18, 2019, 08:40:02 AM

Mark and his minions are now unstoppable in their quest to be one of the most important and financially-capable player in the world of cryptocurrency. And they are taking slow yet steady all because Mark is making sure they don't jump into the cold water unprepared and half-baked. The coming unveiling at what Facebook can offer to the global cryptocurrency market will soon be building the needed excitement and enthusiasm. How the market, the government, the Facebook users and the public will view and react accordingly to this development will be a great thing to watch. Definitely, big and famous names are now staking their future using blockchain and cryptocurrency. Facebook Coin...is coming soon.
2340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If there is a store like Amazon or ebay that accepts only BTC would you use it? on: May 18, 2019, 08:06:36 AM
What I'm trying to ask is would you use that type of store with your crpyto (maybe that store accepts more crypto not only BTC) or you see crypto only as an asset that will provide you more fiat money in the future?

Now this is the problem with the currency side of bitcoin or even with leading alts. Currency ideally should be moving all around like the blood of our body just like that symbol of commerce that we know of but in the case of bitcoin and company the mantra since I can remember is: HODL. Why? Because we are expecting that soon the price will go up otherwise there is no reason to hold them somewhere (or even under the skin lol). We are speculating, therefore. This is the reason why many merchants are complaining low sales revenues coming from the bitcoin side. But what can we do? I am not sure if there is something we can do to encourage bitcoin holders to spend their bitcoin instead of just letting it stay somewhere idle. Honestly, bitcoin and the rest of the gang is really more of a store of value though you can use it to buy something even a car or a house and lot. That's the order of things here.
