Ok, that seems and sounds very interesting. But seemingly comes out of nowhere. Any information on the team behind the project perhaps such as names and/or past experience?
Also, how is the validity of data streamed through your platform going to be verified?

It's not another branch, it's just that information isn't final yet so I posted a direct copy of their website and linked to the whitepaper in a "pre-ann" to be as accurate as possible. Now let's hope "socialist" Maduro doesn't send a hitman after me.

How does a crypto with such a small block time target perform in terms of orphans? Orhpans and network propagation had been the main problem when it came to reducing block times with altcoins in the past so with this one using scrypt I don't think it'd be much different. Are miners facing issues with this one?

Email is already peer to peer. What's the point of such a project exactly? Over-complicating simple online communications that are already using peer to peer standards? Like, if you have trust issues, you can set your own email server, everyone can. It's been like that since the creation of email...

I have a question: is the number of TX to a single adress in Electrum limited to a number of receives? currently mining to a single Adress and had 1500 TX to it. Had similar amount un XVG-Electrum-Wallet and there i had a huge problem to withdraw coins from it, because the tx would be to huge or the fee was extremely (compared to normal 0.1 to finaly 17.4)? And if this is an issue, what should be done to continue mining?
Garlicoin fees aren't significant at the moment but Garlium does set a minimum when it comes to fees for outgoing transactions. I would recommend tweaking the settings so you can adjust fees manually in order for you to set it to minimum. Garlicoin blocks time is set to 40 seconds and there aren't many transactions now anyway so minimum fee should do it. I don't think you'd face the same problem with Garlicoin. I also have thousands of transactions to my addresses from mining but the maximum fee I'd have to pay was like 0.05 GRLC.

Anyone looking to rent a 300 KH/s card for mining? I have more to rent but I guess that making more affordable rentals might make them easier to access.

Garlic coin payouts are hurting the wallet and the site as a whole on Trade Satoshi, way to many micropayments of very small amounts of coins, Can you guys please among the community either make the minimum payout higher from the pools or a longer payout window all those small inputs are really bad for the wallet and is affecting its performance this is also upsetting your users who are new to crypto and don't understand why there coins are lagging and just know they aren't there and assume the worst
flap flap fap
also, they keep saying someones mining to the site wallet, if you are solo mining don't use the site addy for your mining addy
if you are running a pool don't use your site addy to collect fees, you aren't likely get them
On another note, why is tradesatohi the only exchange with such a problem? Is their wallet tech so bad that they can't handle account deposits? If that's the case, people shouldn't be holding many coins there anyway.

When will the price actually go up again? Also, I’m mining at 500kH/s so is it worth it to keep mining?
What's the best way to calculate the price at which is it actually profitable to mine? My electricity cost is 14c/ kW/h and im mining with a r9 280x and a 1050 ti Someone has created a mining profit calcuator that's pretty easy to use. Here's a link: https://grlc.herokuapp.com/It depends on the total mining hashrate and how much hashrate you have in regards to that, but the page above calculates that automatically.

Anyway to restart automatically CCMINER? After few hours I get some error and I have to restart miner. The program doesnt crash but just give me errors.
That shouldn't be happening. Which pool are you at? Perhaps try with cgminer recommended by garlicoin devs and make sure you're using the stratum port and pool URL.

Would anyone be interested in renting a 2MH/s rig for garlicoin mining?

This uppurtunity seems to be very unreliable in the last few days. Perhaps due to the falling price but at least there is no consistency in the price difference these days as it used to be. I'll keep watching it though.

Mistertango does have a BTC deposit feature that is connected to their exchange (only EUR is deposited on the bank account). It conviniently allows you to deposit BTC to an address and have EUR in your bank account the moment it's sold. What I take issue with that feature is the fact that it is set to charge a minimum fee of 0.0025 BTC which these days has become too large in value due to the rise in bitcoin's price.

Banks are complicated organizations. If you ask their spokspersons and executives if they plan to introduce x into their set of services, they will most likely answer with a no, because introducing x to their services isn't as simple as it sounds. I think that Bloomberg asked the wrong question, really. Banks could work with ripple but their is no reason to have it at their front desks as a service, providing accounts with it etc.
What ripple has now is the coincheck hack I think.

Don't be surprised if Buffet is really holding Bitcoin. But you are correct in how move on some of that stuff.
Plot twist, buffet assembled the "Satoshi" team. No seriously though, I'm not surprised about 50 Cent, but buffet is a whole other level of investor. Buffet is considered the top institutional investor, bitcoin is a waste of his time based on what he does. 50 cent on the other hand, it's quite funny. His accounting would have to be extra bad to forget that he owns payments he has received.
